If You Were The Taste Test.....Would People Want More Of God?

The Bible says to taste and see that the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.   What if you are the only taste that people get of the Lord.   What would that taste be?   Would it be palatable?   Would it be sweet or bitter?

After encountering you.....when people got to see, hear, and taste a little bit of God.....would they come back for more?

There are four basic taste sensations.   Sweet, Sour, Salty, or Bitter.....which are you?   If you are like salt....you  season and preserve.  When you preserve something, you have the ability to come back later because it has been kept.....preserved.    So prayerfully your words are like salt.   A preservative that allows you to come back at another time and minister life.    When something or someone is sweet....it is highly satisfying and gratifying.....and people almost always want more.   However, if something is sour or bitter.   That is not usually a taste that people want more of.   That usually means it is sharp and unpleasant.

So what taste are your producing?   Are you even palatable?   Meaning are people even able to be around you?  Do you leave a taste where people want to come back for more?   To hear more about your Lord and your Savior.   Or are you sharp and unpleasant to be around?

If you were the only taste that people got of God.....what would they get?   How would they feel after they left your presence?   Would they be hungry for more?

To God be the glory. He wants us to understand that everything we do and everything we say is leaving a taste in peoples mouth. A taste of who God is and hopefully a desire to come back for more.....

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
