Are You Pressing Through.....You Have To Know The Difference Between The Preliminary And The Eternal....

Stop....to give up....to quit.....to cease movement.
Is that you?   Have you stopped moving forward concerning the things of God?   The life of God?   The love of God?   Have you yielded and quit?   Given up on what you thought "was" because it wasn't turning out the way you "expected"?

God is a gentleman....."gentle" man.     He is not going to push you or force you into anything.   Even when it comes to the things you do for Him.    He's not going to make you worship Him.   Serve Him.   Or even choose Him.    He wants you to press beyond the outward appearance of things into the full knowledge of who He is and what He has done.    He wants you to understand that true life is eternal.   It goes far beyond the here and now.   It goes far beyond the seen.  

We tend to base our lives on the now.   On what is going on now.   On what people are doing now.   When the now is not what matters.    We have to "press past" the now.   We have to recognize and realize the eternal.  Eternal means the things that are valid for all time and unchanging.    That must mean that this present state that we are living in is not our valid state....it is ever changing.    It is an invalid state.  You have to "push past" your present ..... whatever is going on in your now.    Whether it be sickness, disease, hurt, pain, no job, no friend, loss of family, not enough money, etc.   Whatever the complication of your present is  ..... you have to "push past" it in order to get to the eternal state that God has prepared for you.    One thing to note about your present is that it is temporary.....meaning there is an end.   Whatever is going on presently that goes against who God is...... has an expiration date.    It can't last for ever.....because God has already predetermined the things that are eternal.   The things that will last and only the things that line up with who He is will endure.  

When you look at your situation today....look beyond your now.   Look into the heart of God.   Look through His eyes and see the difference between the temporary and eternal.    Know that you are only in the preliminary state.   Preliminary means the event that precedes or the preparation state for something fuller or more important.
