Surrender means to cease resistance to an enemy or an opponent and to submit to their authority.
Why have we made God our opponent? Why are we going against Him instead of taking our place on the winning side?
Surrender means to submit. We have to get to the place of submission. Every time we go against God's plan and God's purpose....we oppose Him. We cease to yield. We rebel. We choose not to relinquish our lives and lifestyle for the life of Jesus that has already been sacrificed on our behalf.
All God is asking today is that we surrender. That we stop resisting and opposing Him. That we submit to His will....His purpose....His plan. That we let go of what we thought and pick up what He has said. That we move out of the place of resistance.....into the place of submission.
The true fact of the matter is ......
There are only two sides. Whoever you oppose is your opponent. The side that you are on is the side you yield to. So I ask the question again.....are you opposing God? Have you made God your opponent or your guide?
