How Can You Make A Difference? "Less of Self" and "More of God".....

How can  you know that God is pleased with you.   With your actions, with your thoughts, with who you have turned out to be?   How do you know when the thing you are doing is right or wrong?   How can you change?   How do you switch directions when you have been doing the same thing for so long?

How can  you make a difference?   What is the difference God wants you to make?   Sometimes we think that God is looking for us to do something spectacular.   Something that no one else has ever done before.   Why do we think that is the way God is?   Why do we think that the only way He will be pleased with us if we do something different and unique?   What we have to understand is that the uniqueness was His creation.   You are already unique.   He is looking for likeness.   A people that will be "like" He is.   That will "love" like He does.   That will "pray" like Jesus did.   That will "honor" and "respect" like He has said.

We have to begin to understand that we are already different.   The Bible says that the very hairs on our head are numbered.  There is no one else like me on the earth.....and there is no one else like you.   God does not lack creativity.   He has created each of us and none of us are the same.   What we have to learn to do is to take our creative being and use it for God's glory.   We have to take the uniqueness that we have and use it to be more like God in the earth.    The earth is crying out.  People are crying out.   They are crying out for help from their Lord and their creator.   But God will use mere men.   Men that have allowed their lives to be examples of who God is.    Men who have transformed their hearts and minds from being "selfish" to "selfless".

Let's make it a point today to be "selfless".   To display "less" of "self" and to reveal "more" of "God".   You reveal God when you pray for others.   You reveal God when you love others.    You reveal God when you care for others.

You carry within you a river.   The question is ..... will you be stagnant......or will you be a river that flows?   Always remember that water is symbolic of the anointing.   When the river flows there is healing to broken hearts.....there is comfort for those who are downtrodden......there is peace for the troubled mind.   Be a river that share the love of God so that others can drink from the grace that is upon your life.   Remember that grace is a virtue of God.   It is also defined as the manner, motion, and action in which your life is lived.    When people drink from the grace upon your life....they see how you live.   They see and feel the love of God flowing through you.    You are an ambassador.    You have been set in place to be a representation of who God is.    So what do you do when others come to you ..... when they are hurt, when they need direction, when they are lost?   Do you reference the One in whom you represent or do they remain lost?

Make it a point today to be an ambassador "ready" to represent......so that when all is said and done...... those whom you have had an opportunity to impact  will be able to see and know that God is good and His love, His grace, His mercy is available to us all.
