My Challenge.....My Change........(Understanding That Your Challenge Is The Tool That God Is Using To Produce Strength In Someone Else)

My challenge....my change.   What is the result of the challenge?   Is it change?    What's changing?   Is it you or the things around you?   Your situation, your circumstances, your level of peace, or your level of power?    When confronted with a challenge, you should leave the situation changed.    After going through.....after being tested.....you should come out stronger.   You should come out with more knowledge.   You should  come out with more understanding of who God is.

Do you really think that God would let you go through what you've been going through for nothing?    There is a reason behind everything that God does.   There is a reason for every test and for every challenge in life.   The question is ..... are you understanding the reason?    Are you understanding that it is your testimony that helps others to make it through?   When they see and know and understand that they too can overcome.   That they too can be healed.   That they too can be free.   Then it deepens their faith.   It deepens their trust.   It deepens their belief.

For so long we have taken our tests and our challenges personal.   It's not personal.   We have taken  it so personal that we have tried to hide everything that we have been through.   Whether it be out of shame or a lack of understanding we have tried to handle it all on our own.   We have not wanted anyone else to see us in the midst of our battles.    But how is that helping them if we always hide our weaknesses or our trials?     How can they understand that in our weakness yet are we strong in God?  How can they realize God's goodness if they don't understand His deliverance?   We have to understand that our trial.....our struggle.....was not and is not for us.    It is a tool that God is using to show those around us that they too can stand.   They too can make it.   That God in all His goodness and all His grace is "God Enough" to take us through everything that comes against our lives.

Understand that "our sharing" produces "someone else's strength".   Look through the Bible at the places where the greatest testimonies are shared and notice the strength that has been received to help us believe.   The woman with the issue of blood, blind Bartimaeus, Saul before he became Paul.    What if those stories were never told?  Would your faith be as strong as it is today?   Would you be able to stand and believe God with the same tenacity for His healing and deliverance?   Always remember that you are now the living epistle.....the book that is being written for men to read.   They read you through your pages of life.....your testimony....your change.....your deliverance.

So I ask you.....will you allow your challenge and your change be the tool that God uses to help someone else to know who God is and what He "wills" to do in their lives?

When You Come To A Face Off With God.....Will The Impact Cause You To Be Changed For Him?

What's the answer to the question?    The question about where you are going and what you are doing?    Are you walking where God wants you to walk?   Are you talking the way God wants you to talk?    What are you doing with the life that He has given you?   Is your reflection a reflection of who He is and what He has done?   What impact has God had on who you are and what you are doing?

An impact is a collision.   It is when two opposing ideas or interests collide.   They come face to face with each other and there is a face off.   What is the result of your face off with God or should I say your encounter with God?

Are you leaving God's presence changed?   Or are you walking away from the challenge without being impacted.    God loves you and it is His desire to use you to reflect His glory.   But if you never come face to face with God and His way of doing things.....He cannot effectively use you.    Until you come to the "point of no return"......you will always stay on your side.    Your side is your way of thinking and your way of doing.     It's time to draw the line in the sand to determine which side you really want to be on.    Will it be God's side .... His way of doing things and His perception of love.    Or will you stay in your own little world.   Your perception of what is right and your desires centered around self.

When we get the full picture of what God wants....we can see that our life is not our own.   We are a tool in the Master's hand.   Our tests and our testimonies are tools that are being used to reflect His goodness, grace, and mercy upon the earth.    When we step outside of self .... we can see who God really is.   Who He is to us, in us, and through us.    The thing is ..... we have to determine whether or not we will allow God to impact us so that He can reflect through us.

We all get to the point where there is a line in the sand.   Where we have to determine the reality of what we say we believe.    Where we come to the face off with God and determine whether we will be impacted by Him ..... so that we can be used for Him.

What will be the result of your encounter with God today?   Will your reflection reflect who He is or will you only see "self" when you look in the mirror?

God Has Already Given The Gift Of His Word......The Question Is....Are You Using It or Is It Stored Away?

What is it that you really want from God?   Do you want His light....His life.....or just His provision?  God is looking to give you all of Him.   All of who He is.   All of what He stands for.   Yet we try to pick and choose what we want to receive from Him.

Reception.    Do you really know what reception is?   Reception is the process of receiving something that has been sent or given.   God has given us a gift.   Have you received the gift that God has given?   At Christmas and on our birthdays we give and get "gifts".   Many gifts that cover a wide variety of things.    God gave us one gift....that covers all things.    His gift covers our healing, our provision, our joy, and our peace.

Have you ever gotten a gift for your birthday or for Christmas and it just sat in the box for months or even years and one day you run across it and decide to take it out and use it?  That's how we do the gift of God's word.   We fail to utilize His word in our situations and in our circumstances.   Not only did He give us His word....but He gave us the manifestation of His word through His Son.    Although we know that everything must come under subjection to the word of God....we fail to utilize it.    Instead we sit back and we pray "hard".    Trying to figure out what to do or how to do it.   When all we have to do is apply the word to the situation and the circumstance.

A lot of times we don't use our gifts that we are given because we don't want to take the time to pull out the manual in order to read the instructions.  That's how we are with God and the things of God.   We don't want to take the time to read His word.      We don't want to take the time to pray and seek His face in order to get direction.   The Bible is our instruction manual.   It tells us the who, what, when, where, and why's in life.    It gives us direction and comprehension.   Comprehension is the capability of understanding.   God's word is designed to help us to understand life.   God's word is the comprehension that is necessary in order for us to understand the life that we are living.   Without it....we can never fully understand who we are and whose we are.

It's time that we go back to the first gift.   The gift that was established before the world was.   The gift of God's word ..... that was manifested in His son.    The gift that covers every need and every situation in life.   Instead of searching and seeking new ways and new gifts....we need to utilize what has already been given.

Moving Past Fear and Establishing What We Believe.....

Where is it that you are going?   What is it you are looking at?   God is looking at you.....are you looking at Him?   Where is your focus?   Focus is defined as your concentrated effort or attention on a particular thing.   What thing in particular are you giving your attention to?

Sometimes we sit back and we worry about things that are happening in our lives.    When you worry, you feel anxious and upset about what "you think" will happen.    It's not that it has already happened....it is still in the thought process.     What if we begin to shift our thoughts?   What would happen?   If we changed our "perception" at the stage of "thought".    Your perception is your attitude of what you see.   When you look at sickness in your body....what is your perception?   What do you think about it?   Do you see it overtaking you or do you see God's power overtaking it?     We have to begin to see it God's way.    We have to begin to fight the battle before the manifestation of our fears.    We have to begin to establish our thoughts totally on God's word before the manifestation of sickness, lack, or anything else that comes against the knowledge of who God is.

When you are established.....you are fixed.    You can't be moved.   So no matter what it looks like....you are stationary in what you believe.   It is no longer a situation where you say something and try to believe it.   Belief is already established and what you say is just lining up with what you believe.   For so long we have done it backwards....we say it and try to believe it....when God wants us to believe it first.    Believe that His word is true.   Believe that He is God.   Believe that He will never leave you nor forsake you.   Believe that He will deliver you from everything that is not lining up with His word for you life.   If you believe....you will receive the manifestation of His promises in your life.

Fear is based on doubt.   It tells you that maybe it won't happen the way that you want it to.    It is a thought that injects the word maybe into your situation.    Are there any maybe's in God?   God just is.    So if there is a maybe in our situation....it's not based on who God is.....it's based on what we think.   Trust God today.   Believe God today.   Establish yourself on what He has said and understand that He just "is".    He "is" everything that you need whenever you need it.    Remember God told Moses in Exodus 3 to tell the people that His name was I Am That I Am.    Understand what He was saying.   Look at what He said .... "I Am That"....."That I Am".    So know today.....whatever you need .... God is "That".

Please allow the worship for today to minister to  you and to help you understand....who God is.....

Wake Up In Him....Rehydrate Yourself With The Energy Drink Of God's Word....

What does it mean to wake up in Him?   To wake up to His plan....his purpose.....and His life.    We walk around sleep walking.    To be sleep means that you are in a partial state of unconsciousness.   It means that you are not aware of what is going on around you.    How often do we walk around not unaware of what God is doing in our lives?

It's time to wake up.   It's time to become conscious to the things that God is trying to do in our lives.   It's time to understand that He is always active.    There is no time that God is inactive in our lives or in the world.    When something is inactive....it means it lacks movement.   It means it is not functional or operative.    God is always operating and functioning.......the thing is.....we have dozed off.   We are not conscious to what He is doing or what He is saying.

An energy drink is designed to give you energy to keep you awake when you get tired.   We need to start drinking the "energy drink" of God's word.    It is designed to give you strength when you get tired of the things that tend to come in life.    It is designed to rejuvenate you.   To encourage you.   To strengthen you.    We have to begin to drink from the fountain of life.    When we only drink in what other people are saying and doing.....we drink in contamination.    It contaminates our thoughts, our will, and our actions.   But God's word purifies.   It purifies everything that we have taken in.   It cleanses and washes away everything that is unlike God.    It washes away contaminates and refreshes our hearts and minds.

What is it that we have been drinking?   What is it that we have been taking in?   How do you feel today?    Are your refreshed and ready to serve Him in all that you do and say?   Or are you tired and sleepy.... ready to give up in Him and on Him?   God is your strength?   But you have to awaken yourself to His word, His will, and His way.

Rejuvenate yourself in His word today.   Rehydrate means to restore your body fluids to a normal healthy level.   Get rehydrated with God's word.   Restore your heart, your mind, your will, and your emotions to where God wants them to be.   Stayed and fixed on Him.   Fill your cup with His word.   Drink freely of Him.  For He is the fountain of life.

Message Written By Michelle Moore Basham on November 25, 2011 (God Is...)

This was a message I received this morning from Michelle Moore Basham.....an awesome...encouraging word......something that we all need to think about and know......(Who Is God To YOU?)

**********************************************************************************

God Is....
The tradition Thanksgiving holiday has past and now we have the Christmas holiday approaching right around the corner. While you are surrounded by loved ones or shopping till you drop, please remember the Christian reason behind the seasons- To celebrate our Lord; To Give thanks and Praise at all times for all things and Celebrate the Birth of Christ.

Let me tell you why I am giving thanks to My God. Personally, to me He is my Redeemer, My Deliverer, My Healer, My Fortress, My Comforter and the Most Gracious and Forgiving God. I could go on and on about what He means to me when I call out His name and think of His goodness.

But what Does He mean to you? Is He your Provider, Your Refuge in times of trouble, Your Balm in Gilead, Your Anchor in the wind, Is He the all Sufficient One, Your Strength, Your Peace, and many more things.

Here are a few Scriptures about who God is....:
He is your Shield: Psalm 33:20
He is your Stronghold in the Day of Trouble: Nahum 1:7
He is your Lifter of your Head: Psalm 3:3
He is the King of Kings: Revelation 17:14

Dear Lord,
I give thanks to you for all that you are doing in my life and in the life of others that surround me. Help me to remember that the holiday season is not just a time to shop and eat or "Drink and be Merry" but a time to Celebrate your Birth. Lord, You are so many things to me and for that I worship You, give you Thanks and also Give you the Highest Praise. You mean more to me than anyone could ever buy or any gift that I can give others. You have paid the Price for me as you shed your Blood on the cross. You, Lord are my All and All. I love you Lord!!!
Amen,

Many Blessings!

Are You A Resonate Sound For God.....Reflecting Back On The Surface Of Who He Is?

Whatever God is doing....He is looking to do in you, for you, or through you.    What are you doing for Him?   How are you serving Him?   Who are you speaking to for Him?    God loves you.   He wants you to love Him.   When you love someone....you seek to do things for the one you love.    You do whatever you can to make that person feel better and to gain their trust.     Can God trust you with the life He has given you?   Can He trust you to tell someone of His goodness, His grace, and His mercy?   Can He trust you to tell someone that He is a healer and a redeemer?   Are you speaking on His behalf?   You are an ambassador of His goodness and His grace.    Are you on the forefront?   To be on the forefront is to be in a prominent, important, and active position.   Are you being active for God?

You have a voice.    God has given you a voice to make a "resonate" sound.   When something resonates.....it has a lasting affect.   It produces an echo.   An echo is a repetitive sound that is caused by reflection of sound waves from a surface.    In life....your surface is God.   Are you producing a sound (an echo) that reflects on who He is?

God's desire is to use you.   To produce a sound through you that is distinct and distinguished.    But in order for God to use you.....you must surrender your life to Him to be used.   You can't effectively praise Him if you are still trying to "control" your praise.    You can't effectively speak for Him .... if you are afraid of what others will say about your faith.

God needs you to tell someone else about Him.   It's not that He can't tell them or that He can't show them.   He just wants to use  you.    By using you.....He is establishing and confirming who He is in  your life.   Your confession establishes His word.   To "establish" means to place something securely and firmly in position.   Your testimony and confession secures His word in  your life.     It establishes who He is to you and it allows others to feel, taste, and see God's undeniable love.

Trust God today.    Awake to His power and His plan.   Cry aloud His promise and know that it is His will to establish His word in the earth and that it is His desire  to use you.    Give yourself away to God today.....

You Are The Landmark....The Question Is....Can People Determine Their Direction Based On Where You Stand?

What does it mean to be justified by faith?   Justified .... to be made righteous in the sight of God.    Righteous....to be morally right or virtuous.    Virtuous to reflect moral standards.

So what does it mean to be made righteous, morally right, and to reflect moral standards by faith.   Your faith is what you believe.   It reflects what you put your trust and confidence in.   It is the landmark of your life.   When you think about a landmark.....you think about a feature that allows someone to establish their location.    It is a fixed marker that indicates a boundary.

So what are your boundaries?   When people get to the landmark of your life.....what are they able to see or determine about their direction.   Are the boundaries clearly defined.   Or is there still a lot of stubble .... which makes it hard to determine which direction you are truly facing and which direction they are supposed to go?

If you are the landmark for someone else's life in the earth.......that means that the place where your faith is established can be the turning point for someone else.   It can be the place where someone else sees who God really is.   It means that the establishment of  your life holds significance in the directions that others may choose.

Your words, your wisdom, your faith.....are tools for God.   Your trust your belief and your life are establishing factors in Christ encounters.    Do your words cause people to questions their lives?   To ask within themselves what is different and is your way better?    Does your trust show people that they can stand?   Does your life....your light....reflect the God that you say you believe.

Understand today that you are a landmark.    Let your path be clear so that others can understand the direction of the cross that leads to the presence of the Father.

What Are You Thankful For? Are You Basing It On What Is Tangible or Are You Expanding In The Spirit?

A time to give thanks.   What are thankful for?   Are you thankful for the blood?   Or are you just thankful for what you feel is tangible in your life?   Tangible means that something is perceptible by touch.   What you can actually see with your eyes and touch with your hands.    We have to begin to expand our sense of touch.   We have to go beyond what is seen in this natural realm to what God has done in the spiritual realm.   We have to begin to give thanks for all that He has done and is doing in our lives.

We can't physically see our future and we weren't here to witness what happened at the cross.   Yet it was all done and is being designed for us to experience His life.    The past....far beyond our individual past....was for us.   The future....the things we have not yet experienced or seen.....is for us.    Everything that God has done and everything that He is doing is for us to experience who He is.   So that we can trust Him.   So that we can be assured of who He is.

Are  you thankful for the cross?   No you weren't there....but Jesus died for you and me on the cross?   But you have to know and recognize within  yourself that what happened at the cross was with you and me in mind.    Your tangibility has to go beyond what you can  physically see, hear, feel, or touch.   Your tangibility has to be in knowing God.   Knowing that He is true and that He sacrificed His all for you.

You must expand in the spirit.  Open yourself up to see and understand what God has done and is doing for you.   In order to truly be thankful, you must understand who God is and what He has done.   Your understanding validates your thankfulness.    Because understanding says ..... I know.   You have to know who God is......what He has done......and what He is doing in your life.

Stop looking at what you have and basing your thankfulness on what you can see and touch.   Look at what has been done for you, in you, and through you.    Look at history and perceive your future.   Everything that God did.....He did with you in mind.   He knew you before the earth began.   He ordained and predestined you.   He established His sacrifice for you.   Look at the value that He has placed on you.   Now look beyond  yourself and understand why you have so much to be thankful for.

Do You Trust God Enough To Lay Down Your Load and Pick Up His Love?

Knowing that God is.   Knowing that He is your source.   Knowing that He is your life.   Knowing that He is the way.   How do you get to the place of knowing?   How do you get to the place of trusting?   How do you get to the place of letting go and letting God be God?

We are so used to hanging on.   Of  holding on.   Of trying to figure it out.   When all that God wants is for us to let go.  To let Him be God.  To let Him be our source and our supply.   To let Him lead us in what we say, think, and do.   God wants us to know Him.  To know of Him.   To trust Him.

The Bible says to cast our cares on Him for He cares for us.    Why do we continuously hold on to what He is telling us to let go of?   What is our connection with our problems?   Why are we taking the things that hinder us in our walk, in our talk, in our faith and restrict ourselves with them?   Instead of letting go of our problems....we tie them around our hands, our feet, and our mouth.

We limit what we put our hands to for God based on what is going on in our lives.   We limit where we go for God and what we say because we are so bound by our own situations.   Instead of taking the situations and casting them down....we hold on to them.   We carry them.   They become a part of what we think, do, and say.   They limit and restrict us.   They inhibit us.   When something inhibits you.....it prevents or prohibits you from doing something.

We have to learn the art of release.   When something is an art it is produced.   It is an expression or application.   We have to learn how to apply the blood of Christ to our situations and to truly give them over to God.    As long as your hands,  your heart, and your mind are full of what you are going through....you are not able to carry what God is trying to give you.   His healing, His love, His peace, and His joy.    God wants you to lay down what you are carrying and to pick up what He is giving.

Try God today.   Trust God today.   Trust Him enough to lay down your load and to pick up His love.

Are You Sending God To Voicemail? He's Trying To Prepare You.....

God is calling....will you answer?   Why is it that we ignore the call of God?   It is almost like the phone is ringing and we look to see who it is calling and we press the button to ignore the call and send it to voicemail.   We say within ourselves that we will return the call later.   How many times  have you sent someones call to voicemail and it ended up being something important.....that you needed to know.    We have to stop sending God to voicemail.   We have to stop saying we will do it later.   We will read His word later.   We will pray later.    God is trying to communicate with us.   He is trying to tell us things that are vital to our lives.    When something is vital....it is a necessity.    Meaning that it is something that we need for the next moment in our lives.

Have you ever wondered why you can go into situations and feel empty and lost.   It's because you didn't take advantage of the time of preparation.   Preparation is something that is done to get ready for something you are about to undertake.   How can you effectively undertake life if you are not prepared for the encounters of life?

Life's encounters come in many forms.   It comes in the form of sickness.......do you understand what the cross represents?   Do you understand that the stripes that Jesus took on His back was so that you could be healed?    In life you may encounter lack.......do  you understand that God is your source?  In life you may encounter depression or oppression?   Do  you understand that the joy of the Lord is your strength?

There are many things that you will encounter in life.   The point is .... are you prepared for the encounter.   Are you ready for what life is bringing?   Are you able to understand that it is just an encounter.   What you do when you encounter these situations in life will determine the path of your destination and how fast you get there.    Encounters that come against your life can leave you distracted and cause you to get off track.   When a train is derailed......it comes off the track and comes to a sudden halt.    That is what we do in life.   We get derailed.   But if we answer God when He is calling....He can give us the instructions we need to stay on track.   To see obstacles that are on our track of life .... in order to prepare us for everything that is ahead  and sitting dormant.   When something is dormant .... it is inactive.   It is awaiting an opportunity to make an impact or cause a change in our lives.   God's word is the tool that we need to use to use to uproot the negative tendencies that are laying dormant in our lives.     For in His word is the preparation and power that we will need to overcome these things when we encounter them in life.

There are many types of encounters in life....but let your life only be moved by a Christ encounter.   The thing is....you have to be in a place in God where you are able to discern what is from and in Him.   There is a difference between a distraction and a Christ encounter.    Distractions hinder you from seeing God .... whereas, Christ encounters take you closer to God.   They are designed and designated by Him ... for Him.

Trust God with your life.   Answer Him when He calls.   Do what is necessary in order to be prepared for what life is trying to bring your way.   Prayer and Praise are tools that He has given  you to be prepared for what is ahead on your track of life.

Loving God For Who He Is....Allowing His Word To Validate Your Words Of Love For Him.....

Why is it that you say you love God?  Is it for what He can give you?   Or is it for who He is?    Have you considered God?   The work of His hands?  The blood that was shed?   The life that was lived by and through Jesus?   Have you considered His love?   His passion?   His pain?   What is it that you really know about the one you say you love?

Relationship......

We have to get in relationship with God?   A relationship is a connection or similarity between two or more people or things.    What is the connection between you and God?    What is it that makes you love Him?   Why do you say you love Him?   Do you even know?   If you can't answer that question....then maybe what you say is just words.   What is the context in which you say what you say?   Context means the circumstances or events that form the environment in which something exists.   What forms the environment in which you say your love for God exists?   What is your backup in your relationship with God?

We have to know why we love Him.   We have to know the price that was paid.   We have to understand His passion and compassion for us.   Until we truly understand who God is, how God feels, and what God desires for and from us.....how can we truly love Him?   Relationship is based on understanding.   Understanding and knowing the person you are in relationship with.   Understanding their hurts, their disappointments, as well as, what makes them happy.

It is based on oneness.     Oneness with God and who He is.   So again I ask......  How can you love what or whom you do not know?   Get to know God today.   Get inside of Him and understand the intricate parts of who He is and what He has done in and for you.   Understand His passion ...... so that you too can feel His compassion.

Let your love for God be based on the knowledge of His love for you.  The truth is....until we are able to validate our words through His words......we annul what we say.   Validation says that what we are saying has been "tested" and is "true".   It declares something to be legally valid.

Only God can validate Himself.....and He has given us His validation of who He is through His word.   Get to know Him today....so that the words that you confess concerning your love for Him will be validated through your knowledge of His word, His presence, and His power that is operative in your life.

If you never get to know Him.....you can never get to know His love for you.   If you never understand His love for you.....you can never reciprocate the love He has for you.   When you reciprocate God's love....you respond to Him with the same love that He has for you.....you give it back to Him.    You have to understand that there are no limits on God's love for you......are you limiting your love for Him?

Let The Answer To Your Life Be ..... "Just God"

When will we get to the place where we have a "Just God" mentality?   The word "just" means morally right and fair.   It means precise and exact.....no room for deviation.   That is who and what God is.   He is morally right and He is fair.   Even more so...He is precise and there is no room in Him for deviation.  He just is.  He is God and He wants us to make Him the answer to the questions and situations in our lives.

Who have you been looking to for answers to the questions in your lives?  Is it your brother,  your sister, your friends, or your family?   They can help direct you.....but ultimately....the answers "must" come from God.   When we understand that God's word is final authority.   His word is truth.   His word is "just".....then we understand why we cannot allow the answers of the world to be the answers that rule our lives.

"Just God".   Let "just God" be your answer.   Let "just God" be your healer.   Let "just God" be your provider today.    God doesn't miss it.   He doesn't mess up.   He doesn't make mistakes.    He is able to take the mistakes that we make and turn them around for our good.   A mistake is a judgement that is misguided or wrong.   But to God.....a mistake is an opportunity.   An opportunity for Him to turn around situations in our lives.   An opportunity for Him to reveal to us His goodness, His grace, and His mercy.

Our mistakes are God's opportunities.   Understand that God already knows your response in every situation that will be presented to you in life.    He has already given you His promise to cover you in times of need.   He has already made the  ultimate sacrifice and poured the blood of His covenant upon the earth so that when He sees you....He sees the blood of His promise to you.

Understand today that "you are covered".   God's love for you in unending.   His care for you is undeniable.   His power in you in unfailing.   So when situations come up in  your life or against your life.....let your answer be "Just God".   Speak it in the earth.   Speak aloud your answer ..... for the earth is listening so that it can line up with your "answer"......not answers......with your answer to life.    Speak aloud that the only thing that you need.....the one that has it all.....your life in His hands......is "Just God".

Stop Basing Your Impact On The Majority.....There Is One Person That Needs You Right Now....

How is it that we do so much....yet we accomplish so little?   What do you think God is trying to show us?   Do you think He wants us to see and to understand that what we see as a little accomplishment is really much more in Him.   Heaven rejoices when one person comes to the Lord.   It is not based on the multitudes or the many.....God rejoices in the one.   We have been deceived into thinking that if we don't minister, help, or reach out to the multitude....our life is not accomplishing anything.    Have you ever thought about it?  If you help one person.   If you reach out to one person.    If you help save one life......what that one life could accomplish in God.    Yet we stand in fear.   Fear of failure.  Fear of not being received.   Fear of rejection.   We don't reach out to help any.....even when we see people reaching out to us.

Why are you smacking the hands of those who need you?   Because you don't like how they live or what they do?   How does that negate the fact that they need you?   How does that help them see what love really is?   Isn't it funny how we  have a fear of being rejected ..... yet we reject?

It's time to stand up in God.   To do what God has told us to do.   To be His hands and to be His feet.   To be His arms in the earth.    God is not rejecting people.   When they call on Him ..... He wraps His arms around them.   Are you representing Him when people call on you?   Are you wrapping your arms around those who are hurting?   He said to be His voice in the earth.  People are calling on Him for help.   Are you being His voice by praying and speaking life into their situation?    God said that He has given us the power to tread upon serpents and everywhere the soles of our feet shall tread...that has He given us.   But how are we walking?   Are we tip toeing in fear or walking in authority over the plans and schemes of the enemy.

It's time to rise up in God.   It's time to take authority over every plan of the enemy.   It's time to help someone else become who God has created them to be.   If you reach out to help just one person.....that is like helping the multitude to God.    Stop basing your impact on the majority.....because there is one person that needs you right now.    They need a word that only you can give.   They need a hug that only you can provide.

God wants to use  you for the one....for when we all reach out to one....we are really reaching the multitude.

Learning From The Life Of A Child How To Acknowledge The Power and Presence Of God.....

Did you say your good mornings to God?    In talking with a friend she was telling me how her son gets up and says His good mornings to God.   How he starts His day acknowledging the presence and the power of God in His life.   And the awesome thing is.....he is now checking and making sure that others have acknowledged God in their lives.   He asked her yesterday did she say her good mornings to God.  It's a part of him now.   His parents have taught him how to acknowledge the presence of the Father in his life....even as a child.

How many of us do that?   How many of us ..... start our day or go through our day.....acknowledging who God is.    We may start out.....but do we continue in it?   How "real" is God "really" to you?   Is he part of your routine....or just the routine?   Your routine is "your fixed program".   Your this is what I do and this is how I do it.    But are you able to bring God into the things that happen outside of the norm?   When sickness comes....when disease (dis-ease) comes......are you still dwelling in the presence of God in order to get a word from Him on the situation.

It's good to have a routine so that you don't forget what it is that you are supposed to do.   But you have to understand that God wants you standing and dwelling.   Standing on His word and dwelling in His promise.    While you are standing ..... while you are dwelling ..... He wants you as my friends child .... acknowledging His presence.   He wants  you telling and showing others "how to" acknowledge Him.   Your telling does not have to be audible.   You tell what you believe by what you do.   Your actions always outweigh what you say.    You say you love God.....but is your life (your light....what you reveal) lining up with what you say.   The actions of love are actions of sacrifice.   They are actions that say that my desire is to please the one that I'm in love with.   True love is not about what you can buy and give a person.....true love is giving a part of yourself to someone else.   God gave His son......  Are  you willing to give Him your heart?

Learn the lesson that my friends son is teaching.   Acknowledge God today.   Acknowledge Him in your walk, your talk, your prayer, and your praise.   Acknowledge that He is with you.   Thank Him for being there.   Thank Him for waking you up, for watching over you, for protecting you, for healing you, for loving you......   Acknowledge Him for choosing you......to represent Him.   He didn't have to do it.....but He did.

Understand today.....God is  omnipresent.....He is always there.   The question is....are you acknowledging His presence.   The thing is.....the presence of God....the acknowledgement of God being with you....brings light.   A lot of times we don't want to acknowledge His presence because we don't want to see the dirt that has become a part of our lives.    Another word for dirt is impurity.   God has come to purify us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.    All it takes is acknowledging His presence and allowing Him to have your heart.    Acknowledgement and Surrender.

Successful In Who? What Is The Aim Of Your Purpose?

So you say that you are successful.   The question is .... successful in who?   Is your success in God?   The thing that you have done....the achievement that you have made..... Is it rooted and grounded in who God is?   Has He stamped it with His seal of approval or are your accolades just from man?

We have to begin to ask ourselves are we truly being successful if God is not approving of what we are doing?   We have to ask ourselves in what ways is God being edified or reflected in the things that we do?   God's desire is that we experience success in Him.   However, a lot times it is our successes that take us further away from Him.

You have to decide.   Whose way is it going to be?   Is it going to be according to "your" plan or God's?   When He gave you the promotion....did you thank Him?   Are you even sure if it was Him that gave you the promotion?   A good way to check is to see if it took you closer to Him or do you barely have time for Him now?   You have to understand that everything that we deem as success is not from God.

We have to move from the point of living our lives to please people.    To get mans approval for what we say and what we do.   To often we live our lives trying to bring joy to someone else.   But are you bringing joy to God?   Is He pleased when He looks at you or when He listens to you?   Is His ear attentive to your cry or is His heart burdened because of your words?

You have to understand that God hears it all.   Even if its not audible....He hears what is in your heart.   The thoughts you have regarding the person next to you.....He knows.    We have to begin living knowing that everything that we think, say, or do....God knows.   Is He pleased?

Success if defined as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.    When you aim for something....you "purpose your intentions" on that thing as the target.   So what are your intentions and what is  your target?   What do you intend to accomplish by being successful?   Is your success about accomplishing a higher salary or getting more things?   Is it about being able to say what you have or what  you have done?   Or is about God and reflecting what God will do for someone who serves Him?

If your intentions are not about Him, you are not being successful.   If you are after the approval of man and neglect getting God's approval on your life and lifestyle....you are not successful.   Success can only be seen in the end.   Will your end be one in which God will seal you with His approval and say....well done thy good and faithful servant.

Remember success is defined as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.   Purpose your heart and make your goal.....God.   True success can only be found in Him and anything less than God is failure.   You have to understand that "everything" in this earth realm is temporary.   What will your accomplishment be......will you be successful in receiving the ultimate promotion into the kingdom and presence of God.    You have to understand that the Bible says "many are called....but few are chosen".   What will differentiate you from the rest?   What will be the determining factor as to whether or not you get promoted to the kingdom?

Love Is Resident In You....God Wants You To Live From The Inside Out.....

Where is the peace that you have been seeking?   You have been looking to friends, to family, to your job......but have you looked to God?   Have you sought His peace through His word?    His word is a book of promises to YOU.    He has promised you the oil of joy for your sadness.   He has promised you beauty for your ashes.    He has promised  you peace in the midst of the storm.    Yet  you still look elsewhere for the things that you need to make your life better.    Not understanding that the one thing that you need....dwells on the inside of  you.   His word.   His life.  His love.   It is all resident on the inside of you.

When something is resident....it dwells.   It stays.    It doesn't move from one place to another.    We try to move.   We are constantly switching positions.   Constantly changing our minds about everything we do.   But God is unshakable.  He is unmovable.   He doesn't change His mind about us.   He doesn't back off what He has already said.  So no matter how much we move or we change....He is still there.

What we have to do is to stop seeking our peace, our love, our joy in other people.    We have to look within and recognize the God within us.   God wants us to be the examples of His love.   He wants us to be the examples of His joy.   He wants us to the examples of His peace.   He wants our lives to represent who He is.   He wants our lives to be the thing that helps someone else through their struggle for joy.   Their struggle for love.   Their struggle for peace.   He want us to help them to recognize that what they see in us also resides on the inside of them.    Familiarity.   Resemblance.   Sometimes when you see an attribute in someone else, you begin to notice that you too have those attributes.   You too have those desires.   You too can walk it out and live it out.

Looking for love within.   People always say that you can't truly love someone else until you love yourself.   The love that we need to recognize within us is God's love.   Until you truly understand God's love in you and you love God for who He is to you.  You can't truly love someone else uncompromisingly.    The love of God in you is what must touch and pull out the love of God in others.   It all goes back to living from the inside out.    You have to love from the inside out.   Understanding the love (remember God is love) that dwells on the inside of you and pouring it out on others.  In other words....understanding that God lives on the inside of you.....living in who God is.......and pouring out the God (the love) in you to others.

What's The Lesson You Are Learning? What Do You Consider As Significant & Insignificant In Your Life?

What's the lesson that you are learning?   What's the peace that gives you understanding?   Is it God?   Is your "peace" in God?   Is the lesson that you are learning the lesson that confirms to you His goodness, His grace, and His mercy?   Do you even understand what you are being taught through life?   Is it significant or insignificant to you?

When something is significant....it is noteworthy and you count it as worthy of your attention.   Whereas, when something is insignificant you consider it to be without power or influence.   You don't count it as worthy of your consideration.    How do you treat God and His word?   Does it have power and influence in your life?   When something has power it has authority.   It has within it the ability to change things.   Do you allow God's word to have significance in your life to the point that you allow it to come  in and make changes?  To change your thought process, to change your circumstance, to change who you want to be ..... into what He desires for you to be.    How about influence?   What influences you the most?   Is it your family, your friends, your associates, or God?   To whom or what do you react?   Influence is the capacity to have an affect on the character, development, and behavior of someone or something.   It carries within it the ability to sway or impact.   So what is swaying you?   What is having an impact on your development....on your character....and on your behavior?   Is it God or is it everyone and everything else around  you?

It is God's desire that we learn through the lessons of life....the significance of who He is.   That we be impacted by Him and His word.   That the truth that "we know" is the truth that comes from Him.    What you have to understand is....what is truth to you may not be truth to me.    Truth is the thing that "you" accept as true or reality in your life.    So the question is ..... what is it that you are accepting as true?   What is it that you are allowing to determine your reality?   Is it God?  Is it His Word?   Or are you allowing someone else's reality to determine your truth?   You have to know God for yourself.   You have to determine and accept within yourself that if nothing else is true in your life that He is the one "truth" that cannot be altered.    You have to give Him preeminence.   The highest status of importance in your life.   Trust and believe that He and His word are true.   Let God be the one thing in your life that cannot be changed, moved around, or wiped out.

Farming For God....The Question Is....What Are You Breeding? God Has Entrusted You With The Ground Of Peoples Hearts.....

What is it that you want to hear?   What is it that you are seeking confirmation on?   Are you even listening?   God is speaking.....but are you listening?

God wants you to hear Him.   He wants you to understand His plan, His purpose, His will for YOU.   So often we tend to judge other peoples situations or other peoples circumstances......but what is it that God is saying to you?   What is it He is telling you to do?   What is it that He  is leading and directing and ministering to your heart?

God wants you.  He wants to use you for His glory.   To be glorified by God.    What does that mean to you?   When God glorifies you.....He takes you from the ordinary and reveals how you look in Him.   To be glorified by God.   To be filled with God.   To show forth His glory is to show forth His love, His peace, and His direction.   To shine a light for others to see.    Glory is full of light.    It is a beam that leads....that guides...that gives direction to those around you.

You have to begin to trust God.  To trust the God in you.   To trust His love.   To trust His plan for YOUR life.   You believe for others.   You pray for others.   But you have to begin to believe for yourself.   To trust Him for yourself.   To know for yourself that He is God.   That He loves you.   That His will is that you be whole and complete in Him.   To have Shalom Shalom......nothing missing, nothing lacking, and nothing broken.

Will you trust Him today?   Will you hear Him today?   Will you listen to obey?   Obedience is the key to operating in His will.   It is the key that tells God that you truly trust Him.    When you do what He tells you to do.   When you pray when He tells you to pray.   When you sow when He tells you to sow.....whether it be monetary or words of hope into someone else's life.    Sow the seed of the word.

We are all farmers.   A farm is a place that is used for breeding.   To breed can be defined as rearing and training someone or something to behave a certain way or to have certain qualities.    The question is .... what qualities are you breeding in the behaviors of those under your circle of influence.    The easiest way for someone to learn is by watching what someone else does.    The art of training.    What are others seeing when they see you?   When you are sick.....what do they see?   When you have a need.....what do they see?   Not only what do they see....but what do they hear?   What information are you pouring into them through the words that you speak?

God has entrusted you with the ground of peoples hearts to till and to sow.   The question is what type of seeds are you sowing in the hearts and minds of God's people?

Are You Looking To Take A Stroll or To Go On A Journey With God?

To walk with God.   To live for God.   What is it you want to do?   Do you want to walk with Him?   Do you want to live with Him?    Are you willing to walk out the journey or are you just looking to take a little stroll?    Journey is defined as going from one place to another.   It means to grow and to mature.   Whereas stroll means to move from place to place in an idle manner.   Idle means there is no basis to what you are doing.

So my question again is what do you want to do?   Do you want to stroll with God or go on a journey with Him?   Where do you want to end up after spending time with God?   Do you want to remain in His presence or are you just looking for momentary time with Him to get your wants and desires fulfilled?

God wants us to mature and to grow in Him.   To realize who He is and what He wants to do in our lives.   He wants us to see Him as He is and that requires that we spend time with Him.   It requires that we live in Him and do what He has called you to do.   It requires commitment and continuation.   Continuation means to be unceasing and to resume even after there has been an interruption.

God is calling for a continuation in your relationship with Him.   He is calling us to pick back up where we left off.   Pick back up in prayer.   Pick back up in praise.   Pick back up in worship.   Pick back up in reading  our word.   God wants us to resume what we were doing for, in, and through Him.

Are you willing to ride out the journey.....or are you going to jump off the boat at the first sign of turbulence.   You need to remember that your safety is in Him.

Today Is 11-11-11 ...... What Does That Mean To You? It's Time To Begin Again....

2nd Post Today.....

The number one....."1"......what does it mean to you?
One means absolute.   It means singleness.....not divided.   It stands for the beginning.    It is the first in rank, order, and importance.    What does it mean to you?

Are you serving one God?   Are you walking in singlemindedness?   Not divided in how you think and feel.  Is this the point of your new beginning?   Where you begin again....your new point of rank, order, and importance?    Who is number one and what does being number one mean to you?

Number one means first rate.   Do you realize that you serve a first rate God today?

How do you rate your priorities?   Who is first in your life?   Is it God?   What was the first thing you did this morning?   Did you thank God for waking you up?    What was your first word today?   What was the first thing you said when you encountered someone else today.....was it words of love or encouragement?

It's time to make first things first.   God put you before His Son when He sacrificed Him on the cross.    His priority has always been our lives.   He sacrificed His first in order to bring us in position to be used by Him.

So what will be your first today?   Will it be the first time you lay down your life to do His will?  Will it be the first time you put someone elses needs before your own?   Will it be the first time you praise Him in public?   Will it be the first time you trust Him or believe Him.

Today is a day of new beginnings.   It's time to begin again.    It time to give God His rightful place in our lives.   Take this moment, this time, this day to begin again in Him.

You Are Constantly Traveling (whether walking, running, driving, or flying)......Will You Recognize And Be The Voice For Your Constant Companion?

Where is it that God is taking you?   Where is it that you are trying to go?   We travel....whether it be by walking, running, driving, or flying.....whatever the means we are doing our best to get there.   But are you traveling alone?   Are you feeling empty, void, or lost?    Or are you traveling with your constant companion?   When something is constant.....it does not change.   That's God.......the same.....yesterday, today, and forever.    He is constant in your life....the question is....do you realize that He is with you?   Do you not remember what He said.....He said that He would never leave you nor forsake you.    He said that He would be with you in your time of need.   That includes your time of distress, your time of sickness, your time of lack.....God is there.   What you must do is call on Him.   Invite Him into your situation.   Invite Him in to your thoughts and your actions.    Yield to His love so that His love can lead your life.

We are constantly moving.   We are constantly doing something.....but always remember God's presence.   For if you recognize who He is....you can understand the power and ability that comes with having Him involved in your life.   Recognition is important.   If you look at someone and you don't recognize who they are....you move away from them in fear.   Because you have no knowledge of who they are or what they would do.    But when you know someone.....you invite them over....you let them in when they knock....you allow them to get close to you.   You share with them your thoughts and tell them your secrets.   Analyze your life....how do you treat God?   Are you treating Him as a stranger or as a friend?   Are you running "from" or "to" Him?

Whether you run to God or from God doesn't determine whether or not He is there.   He is ever present.   No matter where you are or what you are doing.....God is there.   What it does determine is the capacity in which He is able to reveal Himself to you.

Start looking at your life.   Start looking at your relationships.   Start looking at what you are doing.....the avenues you travel.    Ask yourself when you arrive at each destination in your life....whether or not it is appropriate for God to be at that place with you.   Sometimes we take God to places we should not go.   The things you watch on television.....ask yourself if you want to expose God to that.    The things you listen to ...... ask yourself is it edifying and glorifying the God within you.    The things you say and the things you do are all being done before a holy God.  The question we all should ask is whether or not we are pouring water on the flame of God within us.

God's desire is that your flame burn bright for Him.   That when people look at you .... that see Him.   The beauty of who He is shining through you.    Will you travel with Him and for Him?   Will you be His representative?   Will you be the voice for your constant companion?   Consider Moses and Aaron.    God called Moses ..... but Aaron accompanied Moses and spoke for Moses in the presence of Pharaoh.   Will you accompany God and speak on His behalf to everyone that He has placed within your sphere of influence.

Be "one" with Him because He is the "One" for whom your life was created.

Understanding Your Role and Living Your Life For "The Audience Of One".....

How do you minister to someone else when you are hurt?   When you are sick?   When you are in need?   How do you "push past" what is going on in your life to help someone get through their struggles?    What is your mindset?   What is your stand?    If you never go beyond you.....you can never truly help someone else and be effective for God.

The enemy wants you consumed.   Consumed with "cares".    "A Care" is defined as a burdened state of mind.  Worry.  Stress.   What you have to understand is the key word is "consumed".   When you consume something....you take it in.   You absorb it.   To retain or become engrossed with something.

What are you consuming?    Is the amount of word you are taking in outweighing the amount of worry that you have?   Where is your concentration?   To concentrate means to focus.   Where is your focus?   Is it on the cares of the world or on what God has said about the cares of the world.    For He has said that He will meet your needs.....He will heal your body......He will give you peace.     What are you meditating on.....His word or your worry?

Life is a book.   The story has already been told.    The end of the book has already been revealed and you are living it out.   You have the awesome opportunity to be a part of God's production.   The question is....who is your audience?   Are  you performing for people or for God?    You have to understand that every scene of your life is being played out before God.   There is no place that He is not.    The question is .... as you are "living  out" the scenes of life....are you calling on Him for direction?   He is the "Producer" of life and the "Director" who knows how to instruct you in the way you should go.   Are you listening?  Are you following His instructions?   Or are you going through the same scenes over and over again because you refuse to do it His way.

Read the Word for it reveals your role in life.   It tells you exactly what to do and how to do it.    Every scene in life requires that you operate in faith and trust.    There are options in every scene.    You choose which way you want to play it out and who you are "performing" for.    Perform means to present or to fulfill.    How are we presenting and fulfilling our lives?   Instead of the presentation of our lives being for the multitude, we need to live for the "audience of one".   Our one God.    When it's all said and done....the rating, the approval, the justification of our performance.....will be before the "Audience of One".

Adopt the attitude that nothing else matters....beyond what God has said and what He wants you to do.   For it is His seal that you seek upon your life.    For in the end....only those sealed will be able to "remain" in the presence of God.    Understand that the seal is God's emblem which says that you belong exclusively to Him.

What Is It Worth To You? Until You Understand His Plan, Purpose, and Design....You Can Never Operate As His Child.....

What is it worth to you?   What is this relationship you have with God worth to you?   Is it worth your life?   Jesus gave His life for you.   Are you willing to sacrifice your life for Him?   To sacrifice your wants, your needs, and your desires......to pick up His plan, His purpose, and His design?

His plan....
His purpose.....
His design.....

A plan is a program or method that has been worked out beforehand.
A purpose is the reason why something exists or is done.
A design shows not only how something looks ..... but it also shows how it functions.

So the question is....are you understanding the method that God put in place for your life before you even came on scene.   Are you understanding why you exist?   Have you looked at God's design for you .... because it tells the image that you are suppose to reflect and it explains exactly how you are to function in the earth.

God's plan is not complicated.   What we have tried to do is redesign the structure and still operate as His body.   It won't work.   God has already laid out the master plan and He is the central part of the design.   In order for the creation .... which is us.....to function properly....all parts must be in place.   For some reason, we have tried to shift all the pieces around.   We have made our thoughts, our wants, and our desires part of the central focus ..... instead of God.   We have to understand that we are not the core.

The core is the toughest most central part of something.   It is the place that contains the seeds.   It is the nucleus.....or should I say the basis.   The nucleus of everything you do and everything you say....should always be God.

It's time to go back to the plan.   Go back to the structure of your design.   Understand who you are....whose you are....and who created you.   You are not your own.   Not only did God design you.....but He also purchased you.    He brought back what was stolen from Him........He paid to get YOU back.    Would you pay a thief (someone who came in and stole your most prized possession) in order to get what belonged to you back?    God did.....He brought you back through the blood of Jesus.    Yet many of us still refuse to come back under the ownership or should I say the fatherhood of God.

Understand today.....that until you understand His plan, His purpose, and His design....you can never operate as His child.

Continually Walking with God

We should be continually walking with God. Are you examining yourself to see if you are? When we are walking with God we change. We see our circumstances differently, not only this but we respond differently. The more you spend time with God the more you will realize the change that takes place inside of you. It is impossible to do all the things the Bible commands us to do without a relationship with God. We need to build up our Spirit man and allow God to lead our physical man in our actions and how we respond.

So often we allow ourselves to respond to a situation through words (Why is this happening to me? I can't handle this. etc...) because it is the easiest way we know how to handle it. All we do is dig a hole of disbelief because we have poor perception. However, when we have built up our Spirit man we begin to respond through prayer. God begins to move on our situation and disbelief and causes us to turn to Him rather than our family and friends.

1 Peter 2:15 says, For it is God's will and intention that by doing right [your good and honest lives] should silence (muzzle, gag) the ignorant charges and ill-informed criticisms of foolish persons. A continual walk with God causes us to see differently and respond differently, think of the power you will have when you see your situation through the eyes of God.

What Have You Taken Into Custody That Has Now Captured You?

Letting go and letting God.    It sounds good.....but it's not easy.    How often do we say that we are giving it over and just end up picking it all back up again.   We say God's got it.   Yet we are still holding on to it.    What does it really mean to give something to God?   How do you "release" the things that have such a profound impact on the outcome of your life.

We have to learn how to let go of things....not only physically.....but mentally.   How do you know when things have a hold on your mentally?    You have to look and see what is consuming your thoughts.    What is overwhelming your emotions.   What is causing you to act and react.    When you look at what you are thinking about, how it makes you feel, and how you are acting in regards to that thing.....you can tell whether you have truly given it over to God.

To release means that you enable something to escape or you set it free.    If you have to let something go....it means that you  have captured it.    When you capture something....you seize it, you catch it, or you arrest it.   You take the thing into custody.    In other words you become the guardian of it.    You become its defender, protector, and keeper.

The question is.....what are you protecting?    What are you keeping?    What thoughts?   What mindsets?   What are you taking ownership of in your mind, your will, and your emotions that you really should be releasing?   What mindset have you captured in your day to day walk that needs to be released in order for you to be free to worship God.

What you have to understand is the thing that you have captured is the very thing that is holding you captive.    Isn't it funny how we capture things.....yet we end up the ones in captivity.    It is time to move out of the place of captivity to the place of being captivated by God.   When something is captivating....it attracts and it holds your attention.     We have to get to a place where the one thing that holds our attention is God.

Release the strongholds in your mind.   The things that have come in through the process of life.    Follow the direction of the Holy Spirit and allow God the authority to stop everything else that is trying to overtake you.    God will not just come in.   You have to give Him permission to act on your behalf.

God gave you the choice to choose Him ...... so that you could choose to give Him the authority to move in your life.

Where Is Your Comfort Zone? Have You Found Comfort In Sin or Is Your Comfort In God? Are You Quitting The Wrong Thing?

How hard is it for you to quit?   Sometimes it seems like we have it backwards.   We tend to quit on the things God is telling us to do that...
