Realize today that you are alive in Christ. 1 Corinthians 15, talks about Christ being risen from the dead. You are no longer who you were ... you have been made alive in Christ. The person you used to look like before you were saved, should not be the person you look like now. It is time to come alive, and rise up out of our worldly customs and traditions and be made new. The hard part here is that the habits that we have taken on have become like that of a custom. We are so used to doing something one way that we cannot see ourselves doing it another. Not only this, but we fail to see the wrong in what we do. However, today God wants us to look deeper and rise out of all those things that are holding and tugging at us. He wants to be our Lord. He wants our time and devotion. Do not allow the enemy to keep you down in things of him, because then you will not be able to see the things of God. I encourage you to grab on to the promise of God, and speak it over your life. Romans 8:37 reads, "Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." To Conquer means to overcome, subdue or master an enemy. Today, overcome, subdue and master the enemy. Show him that he has no control over you and be alive in Christ.
