Keeping Hold Of The Promise

It is easy to accept the promise that God has set before us when we are sure in who He is. The hard part is maintaining your hunger and continuing to seek God even when your promise cannot be seen yet. In the 37th Chapter of Psalms, we are encouraged to keep hold of the promise until we receive. We are warned to turn and stay away from all of our evil ways. In verse 23 it reads, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and He delighteth in his way." It is true that it can become hard to wait for the promise on your own but with the help of the Father and Him guiding your way, it will become easy!

God is not a man that He should lie.  He is giving and forgiving and all He wants from us is to be obedient and wait. This is an easy requirement for such a big reward. Think about it the Creator of the universe promises something to you. It is a privilege and an honor to worship such a wonderful God, who after giving his Son would still keep giving. In Psalms 37 verse 25 says "I have been young, and now am old; yet have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread". Hold to your promise today, and believe that you shall receive. Amen

Where Is Your Comfort Zone? Have You Found Comfort In Sin or Is Your Comfort In God? Are You Quitting The Wrong Thing?

How hard is it for you to quit?   Sometimes it seems like we have it backwards.   We tend to quit on the things God is telling us to do that...
