Life Is Full Of Choices ... The Question Is, What Are You Choosing?

We all have to make decision every day in life.   We choose when to get up out of bed.   We choose what we will eat for breakfast.   We choose what we want to wear.   We choose whether or not we will worship, praise, and acknowledge who God is in our life.    Life is full of choices.  The question is who and what are you choosing?

The word choose should mean to pick out or select (someone or something) as being the best or most appropriate of two or more alternatives but sometimes we choose what we "already know" is not the best.   We make choices based on our flesh and our feelings rather than God and His Word.    We make decisions that are conducive to temporary satisfaction instead of bringing pleasure to God for the eternal life that He has made available to us.

Understand, a decision is a  conclusion or resolution that is reached after consideration.   It is saying that a matter is resolved, settled, and finished.    When you make a decision, you are committing and pledging your allegiance to whatever you decide.

We have to resolve in our hearts and our minds that the best decisions in life are those that revolve around God and His Word.   We have to be committed to Him in order to make decisions that revolve around Him.   God has given each of us the ability to choose for ourselves.   He gave us direction on how and what to choose just as an earthly parent will direct their child and tell them what is best but it's still up to the child to make the right choice.    We have to decide to choose God because by doing so, we are choosing eternal life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Deuteronomy 30:19
King James Version (KJV)
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Where Is Your Comfort Zone? Have You Found Comfort In Sin or Is Your Comfort In God? Are You Quitting The Wrong Thing?

How hard is it for you to quit?   Sometimes it seems like we have it backwards.   We tend to quit on the things God is telling us to do that...
