Don't Be Distracted.......

Have you ever been in a place where you thought nothing could distract you?   Nothing could turn you around from the plan and purpose of God?   Where you were running full speed ahead.....not looking back.....and then. Something different.  Something changed.   Something changed you.   When you least expected it.   Something caused you to take your eyes off God.....even if it was for a temporary moment.    Whether it was a  bill, your job, a friend, etc........"life" sometimes brings distractions.

It's at those times.......times of distractions......that we have to cling to God.     Cling means to hold fast....to adhere.....to embrace.    We have to hold fast to the promises that God has given us.   We have to adhere (do) what He has told us in His word.   We have to embrace (take up readily and hold on to) His truths.  

In life.....God has to be our focal point.....the center of activity in our lives.    Our concentrated effort.    Life will always bring us distractions.....but it is only in Him that we have the ability to overcome every situation that life brings.  

Don't lose sight of who God is today.    He is the One who "was", "is", and "is to come".    Focus on Him today.   His Word, His Life, His Light.   In the midst of chaos of life....the busyness of your day....remain focused on the one who holds the day in His hand.     Beware of the tricks and the attacks of the enemy.   Be guarded by God and His word for your life.

Read......
Trust......
.......and Believe.  

Whatever you do......don't be distracted.

A Taste Of God Is Not Enough.....When God Has Given You A Feast....

We have to begin to understand and recognize the presence and power of God.   God is with us.   God is in us.   God in His wholeness.   God in His glory.   There is no one or nothing that can compare to God.

So why is it we put so much before Him?   Why do we put our trust and our faith in people ..... yet we fail to trust God?   Why is it we take what others say as true .... yet we question what God says?  We have to begin to make God our "all and all".   He is not a portion that we can pick over.   When you have a portion....you only take a part of something.   God is not trying to give you a portion of who He is.   He wants you to be FULL of Him.   We tend to take what God is giving us out of His word and we pick over it.   We jump and shout over what appeals to our soul (our mind, our will, and our emotions).   Yet we leave on the plate the things that are essential for spiritual growth.  

God wants us healthy.   God wants us strong in Him.   Being strong in Him requires that we eat everything that He is giving us.   Psalm 34:8 says taste and see the Lord is good.   Not only do we have to taste....but once we have tasted........we need to begin to feast on the Word.  

Every nutrient ..... the nourishment needed for spiritual growth .... can be found in God's word.   THE BANQUET TABLE IS OPEN AND IT NEVER RUNS OUT.   The awesome thing is .... once you have tasted one thing on God's table.....you can go back and partake of it again and get a completely different taste (a new revelation....a new insight).  

Make a standing reservation at the table of God today.   Make His table your abode ...... and feast continuously on who He is, what He has done, and what He desires to do in and through you.

Where Are You Getting Your Strength?

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might....

Where are you drawing your strength from?   Are you going to God's word to get guidance and strength regarding the situations of life.    A situation is defined as "the way in which something is positioned".   Are situations trying to encompass you.....surround you?   If so.....where are you finding your strength to combat these things.

Your strength is in the Lord.  If something is trying to surround you in order to overtake you......you need to find a way out.   God's word is light.   God's word is direction.   His word is designed to give you revelation (knowledge and understanding) ....illumination (light) ...... and strength.

Trust God today.   Seek Him.   He will lead you.   He will guide you.   He will strengthen you.   Know the safety and protection that comes from being in God.   In His word, in His will, in His plan for your life.  

All you have to do is seek, trust, believe and obey.   Blinders, shackles, things that don't conform to God or His word cannot stay.....or stand under the power of God and His word.

I Choose To Believe......

Make your confession today one of belief.   Make your choice today one of belief.   Choose to believe today.   Choose to make God's Word yours today.   Take ownership of what He has said to you.   Take ownership of what He has given you.    Make His words.....yours......

To believe means to accept as real or true.   To be sure.  

How many things in your life are you "sure" about?    When you are sure......you are confident in what you think and know....without doubt.    How many things are truly confident about?   Beyond your name....beyond your parents.....beyond what you can see, feel, or touch.  

God is looking for a people that will be confident in Him.   In what He has said.   In what He has done.   Confident in the fact that He sent His son.....and that His son is returning soon for the precious seed of the earth.   Are you confident today?   Or is your confidence shaky?   Subject to change based on your surroundings or circumstances......

You must understand that belief is a choice.   Just as love is a choice.   Remember God is love.   When you choose to love....you choose Him.   When you choose to believe.....you choose Him.  

It is all a matter of your will........

God's Word Is True....

When will we get to the place of taking God's word as true?   Knowing that everything that God says and everything that God does is true.   We have to understand the statement .... "let God be true and every man a liar".   Anything.....all things.....that come against what God has said and is saying is a lie.

Anything that presses against the will, plan, and purpose that God has set forth in your life is a lie.   Sickness goes against who God is.......so that is a lie in your life.   Poverty goes against who God is......so that is a lie.   Hatred goes against who God is.....for God is love.....so that is a lie in your life.  

We have to understand who God is.   The fruit of God.   Love, joy, peace......so that we can understand the things that bear false witness in our lives.    Know who God is.....know that He is true.   Know that everything He has done was with you in mind.   Know that His sacrifice for your life was not in vain.  

Trust God today....trust what is TRUE.   Release any and all things that are not lining up with His Word.   Speak God's word today concerning your life and the lives of those around you.

What Makes The Difference?

What is the difference between you and those around you?   Do people realize that you are different?   Not because you are trying to separate yourself and make yourself seem different....but because there is a light that shines forth from you.

Shine means to "reflect".   Meaning it is coming from another source.   It is not something that is coming from you.   One definition of "reflect" means to embody or represent in a faithful or appropriate way.    Is the light of God reflecting from you and allowing others to "see" that there is something different about you?

Your salvation is not something that you have to broadcast.   In other words, you should not have to make an announcement that you are saved.    The Bible says that you are to be a "living epistle"......and open book to be read by all men.   Many times we don't want to be an open book because there are things we are hiding that are not God qualities.  

It's time to clean out the old ..... any and all things that are not lining up with God's will, plan, and purpose for your life.   So that when others look at you....they see God shine through you.   So that others are able to look at your life and see a true representation of who God is.   So that others can read your "story" and see the faithfulness of God.

God is faithful and He is ready to use you to fulfill His plan on the earth.   He gave us the Bible to lead us and guide us in the way that we should go.  Now.... He is not only using the Bible....our lives are the "living epistles"......the books that are being read by all men.    What story is being told by "your" life?

What You See Doesn't Compare To What You Have Seen......

I see....I saw....I have seen.  

What do you see?   What have you seen?

God was seen throughout the Bible with different manifestations.   His glory.....His power.....His presence....and His might.  

How do you see God?   Do you see Him as King of kings and Lord of lords?   Do you revere and worship Him as your Lord and Savior?   Or is your vision cloudy?   Covered up by trials.....situations....and circumstances.   You have to begin to see with your spiritual eyes.   When things come up to try to cloud your view....you have to see beyond those things.   Seeing with your spiritual eyes is an act of knowing.   Knowing that beyond the situation.....God is at work.   Knowing that what appears before you is no match to God.  

You have to know that God said that He will never leave you nor forsake you and that He is working everything out for your good.    In order to see beyond the natural, you need to have total trust in God.   Trust in knowing......    Knowing comes from knowledge.   Knowledge of who He is....what He has done....and what He desires to do.  

So as you reflect today on what see.......Remember what you have already seen.   How God has already delivered you and caused His goodness and grace to shine upon you.   How He has protected and provided for you.   What you see doesn't compare to what you have seen God do already.  

Remember.....He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

What It Really Means To Renew Your Mind.....

Renewing Your Mind.....

My pastor was ministering last night and one of the things he said was....."Renewing our mind is taking what we already know and if necessary getting rid of it and replacing it with what God says.  He said we may even have to get rid of some of the ways we think about God..."

How true is that?   How often do we limit God in what we believe and how we think?   We put so many boundaries and limits on Him.   Even to the point that we limit what we think He will do for us individually.    We believe that He is a healer.   We pray for others to be healed....yet we don't believe that he will heal us.   We believe that He is a provider.....yet we seek our own provision.  

When will we understand that God is limitless?   Limitless means without end, limits, or boundaries.  We have to begin to look at God's creation.   When you look at the sky.....do you see boundaries?   When you look at the earth.....do you see boundaries?  Can you see where the sky or earth begins or ends?

We have to move into a place of knowing that God is without limits.   We have to get rid of everything we thought and see God for who He is.    We have to renew our mind.    We have to understand as pastor said last night....."renewing your mind does not mean learning the Bible.   It means taking out the old and putting in the new."

Make a decision today......not to just learn the Bible......but to change how you look, think, and see God's word.    Give it priority.   Be OPEN to hear what God is saying and be READY  to make a change.

If It Was All Gone In A Day.....What Would You Do?

Job lost it all in a day.....
He lost family, he lost wealth, he lost it all......yet at the end of the day....he worshipped God.

What would you do?   If the material things that we tend to depend on.....were suddenly gone.   Would you be able to worship?   Would you realize that God is your source and your supply and as long as you have Him....you have all that you need?   Would you understand that the Creator of all things is living on the inside of you and still creating things for you?   Would you understand that your social status does not dictate your heavenly abode?

Abode....your place of residence.  

We have allowed material possessions to dictate what we believe.   How much we trust God.   How much we believe God.   We have allowed our surroundings to dictate our faith.  

God is CREATOR.   He is ALL and ALL.   When you have the Creator who is ALL and ALL.....you have everything.   If it was all gone today and the world seemed empty and void.......remember that it is not the first time that God took something empty and void and created everything that was needed to exist.   He took emptiness and created the world.   What more shall he do for you?

Remember in the beginning....even in the darkness....before anything else was......the Spirit of God hovered over the waters.    When in darkness, you have to move into a spiritual place.    You cannot live based on what you see, hear, think, or feel.  You have to live in a place of worship.   Knowing that God "has your back" and that everything in this physical world is temporal and that you have a heavenly abode.

What Do You Do When You Get To The Junction?

A junction.....a place where two or more things meet.   What do you do when you get to the junction?   Junctions are indicative of choices.   What do you do when faced with choices.   Where you have to choose between life and death.   Every choice is ultimately a choice of life or death.   There is no in-between.   Jesus is life.   His life is the light of all men.   Every choice involves Him.   Either it will lead you closer to Him or further away.   When you choose Him......you are always choosing to believe.   Believe what God has done.   Believe what God has said.   

Choices that are rooted in doubt and self preservation.   Are not God choices.   God choices are rooted in belief and self sacrifice.   They say beyond everything else....you believe....you trust....you rely on God.   When you get to the junction in the road.   Both roads may look like or start out as perfectly paved roads.   But as you begin to travel down the roads.....you may encounter paths of dirt, gravel, or obstacles.   It is at that point that you need someone to guide you.   To help you get pass the things that tend to be hindrances in your way.   At that point you need a savior.  A savior is a person that saves someone from danger.   

Let Jesus be  your Savior today.   When you are at junctions in your life....choose the road that always leads to Him.

What Is Truth To You?

What is truth to you?  What is the proven reality in  your life?   Reality if defined as the world or state of things as they actually exist.   How do you see your world today?   Do you see only the natural?  Or do you see that there is more?   Do you understand that there is both a spiritual realm and a natural realm?   You reside in the physical but you should live out of the spiritual.  

Again I ask......what is "proven reality" in your life?   The Israelites saw a lot of miracles, as well as, manifestations of God.    Yet....they chose not to believe and totally rely on God.   They still walked in fear of the natural rather than totally relying on God in the spiritual.

Is that you today?   Have you seen God manifest in your body, in your finances, in your family, in your friends and still refuse to totally trust Him with every aspect of your life.  Your reality should be based on what God has done for you, in you, and through you.   Your reality tells the story of what you believe.    It tells what you see as "truth".

Your reality dictates your sacrifice.   God gave His all.........what about you?

Get Excited!

I heard Jentzen Franklin say this morning....get excited about God today.    That's what we need to do.   Get excited about the one you say you believe in.   The one who loved you before you was.....

Get excited about your healer.   Your deliverer.   Your source.   Your supply.   GET EXCITED.

As you thank God for your earthly father.....Don't forget your Heavenly Father.   Your source, your strength, your peace, your power......

GET EXCITED ABOUT YOUR SAVIOR TODAY....

King of Kings ..... Lord of Lords ..... the GREAT I AM!

With excitement comes eagerness and enthusiasm.   Be eager to get closer to your Father and be enthusiastic enough to persuade those around you to desire to know Him.

At What Expense?

At what expense are you willing to sacrifice the God in you?   What can cause you to turn and let go of God's hand?   Who can change your mind from what you say you believe?   Can temporal pleasure?   Can a television show?   Sounds simple....but people do it every day.    They lay down God for comedy.   They lay down God for music.   They lay down God for a man or woman.  

What can cause you to lay down your life in Him?  What temporary thing can cause you to give up your eternity with Him?

If anything can move you FROM Him.....then....the love that you say you have FOR Him.....is not strong enough.   It's not deep enough.   You have to love God so much that nothing in your life can become a wedge.   A wedge is something that can be driven between two things in order to bring about a separation.

What have you allowed to be a wedge between you and your relationship with God?   Who have you allowed to drive you further away from the destination called eternal life in Him?

Do a "self check" today.   Check you walk....check your talk....check you relationships....check your path.   Don't sacrifice your relationship with God for people, places, or things.   Always desire the eternal over the temporal.  

"Temporary satisfaction cannot compare to eternal salvation......"

Trust God today.....Believe God today....KNOW God today.   The love that He has for you is greater than anything you can ever imagine.   Eyes have not seen....nor ears heard....the things that God has prepared for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose....

Be FIXED today.  

Unshakable....Unmovable....Trusting.....Believing.....and Waiting on God and God alone.  Recognize distractions.....whether they come through your eyes, ears, or emotions.   Don't be tempted with the temporary.....rather be SHIFTED towards the eternal.

Do Not Choose Material Success Over Spiritual Progress.......

What if we chose material success over spiritual progress, and did not even know it? The Bible in Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you".

Living in a world that calls to us every day, offering us the world, offering us success.....telling us if we lower this standard than we can obtain this...  is often a struggle.   But ultimately.......it is our choice to lower the bar to succeed or to choose spiritual progress and leave the bar up high...

I think it is often hard for us to choose spiritual progress because we want immediate satisfaction instead of waiting on God to bring the money for us to pay a bill we choose to get a loan. Instead of saving money....we choose to go out and spend the last twenty we have on material things that we think we need to succeed.

Every time you trust God, you are building on your relationship with Him and you are spiritually progressing. Often times we cant see God working behind the scenes, and it bothers us!! When you go to a play do you see the audio people who are handling the sound and the microphones?      No......but it doesn't mean they have stopped working.  They are still working behind the scenes.  Just because the situation looks tough, and unbearable be assured that God is working behind the scenes. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you."

Don't lower the bar in hopes of success.........because true success is given by God and is only obtained when you allow him to work through you.

Knowing That He Is Your Love, Your Life, and Your Strength Today!

Move From A Place of Intimidation ....To God's Secret Place.......

Sometimes while we are waiting on God we become intimidated.   Intimidated means to become timid....full of fear.    To become discouraged in the face of someone or something else.    The question is....what are you allowing to intimidate you?   To cause you to be timid....to cause you to be fearful....to cause you to become discouraged.   The opposite of intimidated is relaxed.    It is God's desire that we be relaxed in our waiting.   Another word for relaxed is peace.....we need to be at peace in the "knowing" that God will come through.  

Sometimes it's easy to say what we need to do or what we need to be.   It is very hard to be relaxed when there are fiery darts coming at you from every side.   But again....this is the state of "knowing'.   Knowing that God is true to His word.   Of knowing that God will never leave you or forsake you.   Of knowing that God will supply all that you need.  

Intimidation is like a bully.    It pushes you and tries to persuade you to give in.   To give up.   To let go of what is yours.   God's desire is that you be confident, relaxed and resilient.   When you are resilient, you are able to withstand and recover quickly from difficult situations.  

God has given you His peace, His power, and His grace today.   Live in it.    Take a step towards Him.   Abide.   Abide means to conform and to stay.    He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.   What better covering.   The shadow of God.

If you make God your dwelling place....the image that people see when they see you will be God.   So dwell today......stay in the secret place.   The place where the enemy can not access you.   If something is secret....it is not known to everyone.  It is not a place that everyone can get to.     This is a place of covering and protection.   A place of communion and edification.

So know today.....intimidation has no right or rule over you.   That the power within you is much greater than anything going on against you or around you.   Know that your job is to dwell.   To stay hidden in God.   To stay relaxed and at peace.......knowing that God "will".

Let Your Response Be....."I Choose To Believe"

"I Choose To Believe"......let these be your words today.   Let your words be words that clarify your choice.   No matter what the situation is....let your words be "I choose to believe".    Belief is a choice.   You can certainly choose not to believe.   To doubt and be confident in yourself.   But the better choice.....the best choice is to choose to believe God.    

If you are sick in your body......God's Word says that Jesus took stripes on His back so that you could be healed.   Choose to believe that you are healed by the stripes of Jesus.     

If you don't have enough money to meet your needs.....God's Word say that He knows the things that you have need of and that He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.   Choose to believe that God is your provider and that He is faithful.

You have to respond to every trial, every situation, and circumstance that is coming against your life.  Let your response be....."I Choose To Believe God.....His Word, His Will, His Plan, and His Purpose For My Life".   Believe that He sees all, He knows all, and that He is working out "all" things for the good of those who love Him and that are called according to His purpose.

What Are You Getting Caught Up On?

What is catching your faith?   You are in the ball park.....ready to hit it out of the field.....ready to believe God all the way....but just as you are about to hit the ball.....to step out on faith....something hinders you....something stops you.....something causes you to go back into the batters cage.    What have you given that much power to in your life?   In your faith walk?   What are you allowing to stop you from believing....from trusting....from stepping out in faith?

This life is not about what we see or how we see it.   It is about what we believe and whether or not we trust what we believe enough to step out on faith.    We say with our mouths that we believe God....that we trust Him all the way.   Yet when the test comes.....the test of our belief.....we retreat.   We tend to stay where "we think" it is safe.   Do you truly understand the vastness of being in the shelter of the most high?   God said in His word....He is everywhere.   GOD'S SHELTER IS NOT A PARTICULAR PLACE.....it is in Him.

Understand today that faith is a requirement.   Understand that along with that faith, you are also required to believe.    Don't allow your faith to be hindered.   Don't allow your faith to be caught up.    Step out of your comfort zone into the realm of "God Known".    Understand that God knows everything.   He knows who you are and where you have been.   He knows where He is taking you to.   The "God Known" is very different from the unknown.   God knows exactly where He is taking you.   For you.....this is a place of complete trust.

What Is Your Prayer Today?

It's a new day.   A new day that God has made.   A day of goodness, greatness, love, peace, and prosperity.
What is prosperity to you?  Is it money?   Is it things?   Is it peace?   Is it joy?   We have to understand what whole life prosperity is.

Whole life prosperity comes when you have Jesus.    You can not  be truly prosperous if you don't know the Lord.   What good does it do to have money and not have joy.  Or how can you truly have joy if you don't have enough to meet your needs.   The one outweighs the other.    It's like a seesaw.   One minute you are up and the other minute you are down.  

God wants you to have all the things that you need in order to produce peace....to produce joy....to have your needs met......to be healed.     The key is that you must have those things "in Him".   Peace is only found in Him.   True joy is only accomplished in Him.    Healing is made manifest in Him.   Financial stability is only accomplished in Him.    True life prosperity is having all these things in Him.   Apart from Him you can have one or the other.....but in Him.....all things are possible.

The first step to any and everything in your life is to put God first.   To exalt Him above every situation and circumstance in your life.   When God is made bigger.....you will see your problems and situations for what they are.....a small thing to God.    Healing is but a word to God.   Peace is but a word.   Finances is but a word.   Joy is but a word.    One word from God  has in it the ability to change your whole life.

Your part is to know His word.   So that the "Word" can change your life.

Obedience Is The Response.....

When all else fails.....what do you do?   Do you still try to make it work in your own strength and ability or do you rely and trust on God.   What we tend to do is try to make it work anyway.   We try to manifest a result anyway.    We try to bring it to pass anyway.   We totally ignore the warning signs.   We totally ignore what God is telling us and what He is revealing to us.   We try to bring it to pass in our own strength and ability anyway.    Then in the end....we ask God why.   Why it didn't work.   Why it didn't come to pass.  Why the end result was something different than what we expected.   What we wanted.   What we planned.    Why?

The answer to the why is because we chose not to follow God's word.   Not to follow God's plan.   Not to listen to or follow the instructions that God has given.   When we are led and we know what God is saying......we are responsible to give the right response.   The response of obedience.

Obedience is the response that will bring the God result.   The result that will cause God's plan (not our plan), God's purpose (not what we think is supposed to happen), and will to be made manifest in the earth.

Where Is Life Taking You?

Are you allowing life to lead you?   Or are you being led by the Word?    Your life consists of you and the people, places, and things that surround you.  Those things that you allow to give you direction and guidance.   Where are they taking you?

What is the "primary" force in your life?   Is it the Word of God?   Or is it the neighbor, the child, the job, etc.    Are you being led by God?   You can check and see.   He will never lead you to do or say things outside of His word or His will.   His love should be the greatest relationship you have and will ever have.

Remember.....wherever you go.....God is with you.   He said He will never leave you nor forsake you.   There is not a place that He is not.   He holds it all together.    So you must decide what you are willing to expose God to.   What are you doing to preserve the anointing that is on your life?

Do you take God to the movies that are filled with all types of sinful nature?   Those things that go totally against His will, purpose, and plan.   You have to ask yourself.....is what you call entertainment entertaining to God.   Is He pleased with what is going through your eye gates, your ear gates, your heart?

The next time you want to tell a lie....understand that God is living on the inside of you and you are causing Him to grieve.   To grieve means to mourn or be sorrowful.    The Bible says to grieve not the Holy Spirit.

You must allow life to lead you to God's plan and God's purpose.   God's Spirit already lives on the inside of you.   God wants you to dwell with Him and in Him.    Just think about the awesomeness of God......

The one who dwells in us ... also surrounds and comforts us.   Just think....God is in us and He also wraps His arms around us.

Everything that God is doing....He is doing for you.   Everything that God has done....He has done for you.  So now the question is....what are you doing for Him?   What is your representation of who God is?   When others look at you....do they see God as faithful?   Remember you are His ambassador.   Are you faithful? 
When others look at you....do they see God as committed?   Are you committed?  

People see God through you.   Your love, your commitment, your humility, your peace, YOUR LIFE.   So when others look at you......how do they see God?

What Are You Willing To Do For Love? Remember God Is Love!

Do you really know what love is?   We get confused.   A lot of times we tell people we love them.   It is like a verbal assent.   Something we say with our mouths but never really feel in our hearts.

Agape' ..... God's kind of love is an action.   It is an act of doing.   It's not just about what you say verbally.    God loved us so much that He sacrificed His son on a cross to die for us.....instead of us.   "In-stead" of us.    In our stead.   Stead means a place or position.    We need to grab hold of this.   Jesus took our place......the place of death.....is the place Jesus took so that we could live.   

Yet.....how do we live?   How do we love?   Do we love whole heartily.   Do we live whole heartily.   Whole means entire and complete.   Is the love that you express to others a verbal assent or a genuine action?  When you give someone a hug (at church, at home, on the job, etc.)......is it real or can they feel the emptiness inside the hug.  

It's time we love like God loves.   It's time we give like God gives.   It's time we be His representatives on the earth.   God is not an empty vessel....therefore, you should not be empty.   In Him.....In God.....is love and life everlasting.   All that He is....is resident on the inside of you.    The question is....will you open up and allow Him,,,,His love, His life, all that He is......to flow out of you to someone else.   

Fulfill your purpose in Him today.....be a vessel of love to someone else.   Let the rivers flow....so that the anointing on you can flow to someone else today.....and cause the situations, the cares, and anxieties of their life to be washed away.

You Have A Guarantee.....Now All You Have To Do Is Patiently Endure.....

Patiently "endure" and you  will "receive" the promise.    God has called you to endure....to carry on through despite the hardships that might come your way.    So that after you have "patiently" carried on through.... you can receive the promise.   

Endurance and the state in which you endure are directly related to you receiving the promise.   What state are you in when you are enduring?   Are you frustrated?   Are you angry?   Are you joyful?   Are you patient?   What is the state of your endurance?  

God told us to "patiently endure".   Patience is defined as the ability to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.    Delay is just an opportunity to strengthen your faith.   To increase your "trust" level in God.   

We have to get to a point where we understand and believe without doubting that God's word is true.   When we say something is true, we are saying that it is consistent with fact and reality.   There is nothing false about it.    It is real and it is genuine.   

When you understand the reality and genuineness of something, you understand the true value of it.   When you know the worth of something, you tend to treat it with greater care.    Know your worth in God.   Know the value of His word in you.

Today is a day that God has called you to patiently endure so that  you can receive all that He has for you.   Know all that He is in you today.   Know the price that has been paid for you life.   So that as you "patiently" endure......without frustration, without anger, without doubt, WITH PEACE........you can receive the promise.   Remember a promise is a guarantee that something will happen.   So you are guaranteed through the life, death, and resurrection of Christ that everything God has promised you will come to pass.

God Allows You To Have Christ Encounters....What You Do With Them Is Your Choice.....

In life we have choices.   We choose what to wear.   We choose where to live.   We choose our jobs, our mates, our churches.   Yes there are times when the options don't seem as vast or as varied.   But we still choose whether or not to accept what is before us.    Our greatest choice that we ever have to make is ..... will we choose to serve God?   Will we choose to lay aside everything else in our lives to live for Him?   To pursue Him?   A pursuit is not just sitting around and telling people that you are saved.   A pursuit is a quest.   It is an active effort to attain.   You are not pursuing God if you are not reading your Bible.   You are not pursuing God if you are not praying.   You are not pursuing God if you are not reaching out to others to tell them about the goodness and the grace of God.  

Active Pursuit.....

In order to pursue, you have to know what you are pursuing.    Ask yourself what are you pursuing when you say that you are pursuing God.   Are you pursuing His love, His grace, His understanding.   Or are your reasons for pursuit selfish in nature?   For your own glory and edification.    Know why you pursue.  

Why do you serve?   Why do you give?  Or do you give?   If you look around and see a need.   A need for prayer.....do you pray?   Someone who needs to pay a bill.....do you help?   Someone who needs guidance...do you try to lead them and instruct them in the way they should go?   Or do you sit back and look and say you don't know why they keep going through what they go through or just say that you will pray for them when God has placed it within your means to be a help.

One thing we must understand today.   Every test that someone is going through is not necessarily their test.   It may be your test.   It may be God checking you to see what you will do with the resources He has entrusted to you.   He may want to see what you will do with the Word that is inside of you.   Will you pray?   Will you provide?   Will you lead and guide?  

Don't always overlook someone else's journey.   Especially when God has brought about an encounter.   Encounters are not by chance.   The things that God allows you to see....the people that God allows you to come in contact with..... NONE OF IT IS BY CHANCE.   

What you do with these encounters is your choice.

Why Go Through The Wilderness When God Has Already Paved The Path...

My love, my life, who I am .... is all in God. He is my source, my resource, my light....in darkness.

What else is needed .... nothing beyond Him.

Let Him be yours today. Let Him point you in the right direction today. Let Him show you the path you should take. Why travel the unknown when you have a divine navigator. It's like having a navigation system in your car and not using it. Being lost when you have something available to show you the way to go.

We have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us .... ready to show us the direction we need to take.....but we live life ignoring His direction. Stop and be lead today. Let the Lord lead you ....

Don't waste unnecessary time trying to find your way to your destination. Let God show you the way. The path has been paved....Stop trying to take shortcuts.......

Shortcuts lead you through the wilderness and only prolong the time it take sto get to your destination.

Are You Asking God For Wisdom?

What are you asking God for today?   Are you asking for finances, for healing, for divine intervention?   Or are you asking Him for wisdom.   Solomon asked God for wisdom.   Why do you think he did that?   He didn't ask for financial prosperity, he didn't ask for healing.....he just asked for wisdom.  

What is it about wisdom that supplies everything you need in life?   Wisdom is to have knowledge.   But not only to have knowledge but to also know how to use the knowledge you have.   There are so many times in life that we "know" how something works....yet we still can't get it to operate properly.   When you have wisdom, you not only know something....but you have divine insight and judgment concerning everything in your life.   

So when you ask God for something today.   Ask Him for wisdom so that you will be able to manage the affairs of life.    Let wisdom lead you and guide you into your destiny.   For without it.....you will be as one tossed to and fro with no direction and no stability.

Wisdom is a stabilizer.   It is the thing which we keep you from fluctuating outside of the will, plan, and purpose that God has for your life.

Make It About Him Today....

Make it all about Him today.   Make you plans about Him.   Make your service about Him.   When we say service.....we mean that which you do for someone else today.   Whether it be your job, your family, your friends. Whatever you do today.....make it about God......for God is love.   So show forth love today.    In your actions, in your deeds, in your walk, in your talk.   Let the root of everything you do be the love of God.   

Remember the love of God has no limits.   So don't limit the love your pour out.   There should be no "buts" in your love walk.  Where you tell people you  love them "but" or I'll do this for you "but".    The word "but" is an excuse that we tend to rely on.   It is our way out of walking fully in what God has told us to walk in.   It is a word that cancels what we say we believe.    We tell people that we love them but....   Or will will do this for them but.....  

At the point that we put "but" in our love walk, we have then made our love "conditional".   There are no conditions on the love of God.   Therefore, put no conditions on your love towards others.  Love just is...There is no condition nor limit to it.    Unconditional love is who, what, and where God is.   When you ask who is love....that's God.   When you ask what is love....that's God.   When you ask where is love....that's God.    God is love without stipulations.   

So remember....make it all about Him today.

After You Have Received The Victory .... Then What?

What are you doing now?   After you have been delivered.   After you have been set free.   After the money comes.   After you are healed.    What are you doing?

We have this way of praying with sincerity to God saying .... Lord if you .....

If you deliver me.   If you heal me.   If you send the money..... I will.  

What is your will?   What are you willing to do for God, in God, and through God?   What is your promise to God if He brings your prayer to pass?   Are you doing what you promised Him?   Or are you stepping "back" into what caused you to pray that  prayer initially.   

We have to become more like God.    When God says a thing....He does it.   When we tell God we will do something....we need to follow through.    We need to appreciate the anointing, blessing, and deliverance that God so generously provides for our lives.   

After you have won the victory......don't turn around and disqualify yourself from receiving the winner's reward.  Faith and obedience are continual.   You cannot stop having faith and you must always walk in obedience in order to receive the ultimate .... eternal life in Him.

Diligently Seeking.....In Spite Of.....

What does it mean to diligently seek the Lord?   If you are diligent.....you are constant and persistent.   If something is constant, it does not change and vary.   When you are persistent....you continue in spite of obstacles, challenges, and discouragement.    Diligently seeking.   Seek means to go to or towards a thing.  

God wants us to diligently seek Him.   To be consistent, persistent, not changing or varying.....To continue in spite of any obstacles, challenges, and discouragement that may try to come against us to keep us from moving towards Him.    It is God's desire that we press beyond every interruption and interference to get into a place of faith in Him.   The place of trusting Him....no matter what.   

Today is a new day.   A day of divine opportunity.   A day designed with you in mind.    A day for you to seek God.....to move towards Him with diligence.    You have to understand that your view is limited from a distance.   But as you come closer to a person, place, or thing......it enhances your ability to see.

God wants you to see Him clearly.   His love and His life.  The beauty of His holiness.   Your view is very limited if you only seek Him from a distance.   Distance come when you want to maintain "you".   But as you die to "you" and you endeavor to seek "Him".......your view, your perception, your understanding of who He is  will become clear.   And your walk with Him.......will be as He walked with Enoch.   A walk of intimacy and oneness.

You Are The Prescription That God Wants To Use....

What would you do if you saw someone standing on a bridge ready to jump?   What would you do if you saw someone with a gun to their head?   What would you do if you saw someone with a bottle of pills ready to take them all?   What would you do?    Would you just stand by and let them do it?

That's what we do daily.   We stand by and watch people commit spiritual suicide.   In some cases it is like we hold their hands while they jump or we help pull the trigger.  We never reach out.   We sit back and watch as people die spiritually.    We never try to resuscitate them.   Even though we are doctors on call.....we never give them what is necessary to save their lives .... even though we have it readily available.   

What is the use of having what is necessary to save someones life and never applying it or using it?   How can we continue to sit by and watch people walk blindly and never even try to tell them about the one who saves, heals, and delivers?    It's like when a doctor gives a patient medication, he waits to see how the patient responds to what has been given.    In some cases the patient may need a lower dose, a higher dose, or maybe a different type of medicine.    But he would never know if he didn't try.   

Some people may require that you feed them low doses of God and His word.   Some may require more.   Some may require that you use a different approach.   But if you never step out to give people what they need ..... how will they ever get better?  

If you are the prescription that God has given to help heal, save, and deliver ..... are you sitting on the shelf or are you being used?    Every prescription has an expiration date and God is coming soon.    Don't allow time to expire without being used by God.      It's time to reach out, step out, and move out on what God has told you to do.
