Are You Stopping The Right Thing ... NEVER Stop Believing, Hoping, and Trusting In God!

What does it mean to stop?   To stop means to halt, end, finish, and to come to a standstill.    The real question is what are you stopping.  Have you stopped trusting God?   Have you stopped believing?   Have you stopped seeking His will, His purpose, and His plan?   What exactly have you stopped? Have you stopped going outside of God's Word to find fulfillment?   Have you stopped telling untruths?  The real question is, "what have you stopped"?

Stopping is not a bad thing.  There are many things in life that we need to stop doing but the question is, are we stopping the right things.   So often in life when things don't go the way we plan, our first tendency is to question God.   We ask God why and then when we don't understand, the first thing we do is let go of our faith, hope, and trust in Him.   We have to understand that God is the one unchanging factor in our lives.   Even when our lives appear to be constantly changing, God does not change.   We should never stop believing, hoping, and trusting in God and His Word!

Are You Standing On The Truth When You Encounter Situations Of Deception?

God will do it.   Grab hold of these words.   When you encounter obstacles in life, remember these words and speak these words over your life and your situation.   Speak the word and say God "will" do it.   You have to learn how to reject the enemy's plan and to reinforce with your words what God has said about your life.    You have to remember that God's Word is the truth and the enemy is the master of deception.

Understand a master is a skilled practitioner of an art or activity.   The enemy is skilled at deceiving.   He has been practicing the art of deception every since the garden.   The best way to become good at something is through practice.  So every day the enemy is practicing on someones life how to lie, trick, and to deceive.   Every day he is trying to perfect his skill.   The only way to overcome deception is to "know" the truth.   Remember, God's Word is truth!   You have to know what God has said in order to overcome what the enemy is saying.   So today trust and believe what God has said.  Take hold of His Word.   Know that He will hasten to perform His Word in your life when you walk in faith.    Meditate on His Word.

SCRIPTURE FOR MEDITATION
Jeremiah 1:12
Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Are You Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places? Understand God's Love Is Unending and Unchanging!

God's love is unending and unchanging.  It is a sacrificial gift.   A gift is something that has been given.  John 3:16 talks about how God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.    We also understand from Romans that God's love is not based on who we are or what we have done because while we were yet sinners He sacrificed His Son for us.

We have to understand what true love is.  When we understand the depth and intensity of God's love, we can truly understand how valuable we are to Him.   Once you understand your value, it will take away the feelings that you may have of being worthless (worth less than) others.    It will take away the doubt and insecurity that you may have that says no one loves you and no one cares.   Even when the people around you don't value you or don't show you that they care, God does.   Because He loves YOU, He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.   Because He loves you, He calls YOU His child.   Because He loves you, YOU are not alone.    Don't make the mistake of "looking for love in all the wrong places".   Look to God and just KNOW that YOU are loved.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

John 3:16

King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 5:8

King James Version (KJV)

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Are You Fluctuating In Faith or Are You Standing On The Fact That There Is No Variableness In God?

Why are you losing hope?  Why are you giving up?  Why have you stopped standing?  Why have you stopped believing?   GOD IS STILL GOD!   He has not changed and will not change for His Word says that He changes not.    God is faithful.  God is true.   God is God alone.

So often we put our hope and trust in people, places, and things.   When those people don't do what we expect, we lose hope.   When things don't turn out the way we want them to, we lose hope.   We have to keep our faith, hope, and trust in God.   We have to believe His Word and trust Him to perfect His Word in and through our lives.    We have to hold on to His promises and we can't let go of His unchanging hand.

Understand, people change, places change, and things change.    When something fluctuates, it varies, shifts, and alters.   There is variableness in God.   He and His Word are firm.    God cannot be altered but He can alter our situations.    Trust Him and stay in faith.    Believe Him and hold on to His promises.

Are You Trusting God Even When You Encounter A "No" In Life?

What if God said no?   What do you do then?   Do you give up and quit or do you press on knowing that He has a plan for your life?    We have to walk in the understanding of the fact that God knows all, sees all, and can do all things.    Just because He says no to what we want or what we desire, doesn't mean His plan is complete and it doesn't mean that you are finished.    We have to know and understand that God created us and when He created us, He set "His" plan in motion for our lives.   The word plan means a detailed proposal or strategy for completing something.    God has a plan.   He didn't just set us here to "improvise" throughout life.    When you improvise, you live off the cuff or to say it another way, you live your life without preparation.

God gave us His Word to prepare us for everything we would encounter throughout life.   He even sent Jesus as a forerunner so that we would know that even through we encounter opposition in life, we still are overcomers.    We have to understand that God's no to one thing in our lives does not negate His plan.   His plan reaches beyond our thoughts, our fears, our doubts, and our inhibitions.  An inhibition is something that restrains, blocks, or suppresses us.   You have to trust His plan even when you encounter a "no" to what you desire in life.    You have to understand that God can still bring what you are believing Him for to pass, it just may not come the way you expect it.   God gave us His promises but He didn't reveal exactly how He was going to bring it all to pass.   However, He did say that He was going to work everything in our lives together for our good.   Trust Him even when you encounter a no in life.
