Are You Staying In Faith Even When Situations Come That Try To Interfere With You Receiving The Promise?

What do you do when your faith walk becomes hard?   When it seems like God is answering and it becomes hard for you to believe that the answer you need is going to come to pass?   What do you do?   Do you give up and quit?   Do you stop believing?   Do you trust God through the process?   Do you walk in the understanding that God's timing may not be according to your time clock?

Walking this journey with God does not mean that your life will be easy.   It doesn't mean that what you need is immediately going to come to pass.   We have to know how to not only walk in faith, we have to know how to stay in faith.   We have to be able to see beyond what we see.   In other words, we have to see beyond the things that are happening in the physical realm and be able to visualize by faith the promise that needs to move from the spiritual realm into the physical realm. The vehicle that moves the promises of God from the spiritual to the physical is our faith.

When times are hard, you still have to trust God.   You still have to believe His Word is true.   You have to know that situations that interfere with the promise coming to pass don't necessarily stop it from coming to pass although they may delay the manifestation of the promise.

REMEMBER, God is not a man.   He does not and cannot lie.  What He has said He will do, He will do.   He is not limited in power but He can be limited by your faith.

2 Corinthians 5:7

Are You Living and Waiting In Hope and Expectation or Are You Living In Fear?

How are you waiting on God?   Are you waiting in fear or are you waiting in expectation?   Are you trusting and believing God will do what needs to be done or are you fearful that what you need won't come to pass?   We have to always remember that God is all-knowing and very capable of meeting our needs.   We have to remember that He can and He will honor His Word to us.

Sometimes people get to a point in life where they feel like all hope is lost.   They get to a place where they feel as though nothing is working out in their lives but we have to always remember that God said He would work everything together for our good.    So hope is never lost.   God is always able to work miracles.   There is nothing He cannot do.   Although some of the things He does we may not always fully understand and sometimes we feel as though God is late with the answer but in essence He is always on time.

Make it a point today to remain hopeful.   Make it a point to continue to keep your trust in God.   Make it a point to look past what you see in the natural and know that God is still able to work everything out for your good.   God is still able to do what only He can do.

Are You Exercising Your Faith So That When The Trials Of Life Come You Will Be Able To Stand?

What do you do when you feel like you have no hope?   Do you look to God?   Do you understand that your hope is in God?   So often people give up and they lose hope.   They stop trusting and stop believing in God and what God can do.   We have to understand, if we stop believing and trusting in what God can do, we don't have hope.   We become lost and we become confused because our hope has to be in God's ability and not our own.

Take time today to read God's Word and build yourself up.    The Bible says to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might and in order for us to be strong in faith, we must exercise our faith.   Exercise is an activity that is carried out in order to help improve or sustain something.   We have to become strong in faith so that we will be strong enough when the turmoils of life push against our faith to try to get us to fall or fail.

So today, REMEMBER to exercise your faith.   Trust God wholeheartedly.   Believe what He has said to be true and take a stand on it.   Don't be moved by the trials of life.   Let the trials help strengthen your faith and increase your stamina.   Increasing your stamina will enable you to stand during the storm so that you can eventually see the result of what you have been believing God for.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Ephesians 6:10-11

King James Version

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Where Are You Making Your Abode As You Walk Out This Journey Called Life?

Are you living under the curse or dwelling under the covenant and protection of the blood?   Understand a curse is spoken out of anger and annoyance, it is used to inflict punishment on someone or something.    There were people and things that God cursed in the beginning but Jesus came to rescue us from the death that comes with the curse by dying on the cross so that we could have eternal life.

When we look at the Bible we see that the serpent was cursed, Adam was cursed, Cain was cursed, and Eve was cursed.   They were all cursed because of their disobedience but Jesus came to reverse the curse.    He came to shed His blood so that we could live.    He came to be a light so that we could see the way we need to go.   He came to save us from our sins.   He came to deliver us from the curse of sin and death.

We have to decide where we are going to make our abode while we are walking out this journey called life in the earth.   An abode is a temporary place of residence.  Are  we going to abide under the shadow of the Almighty and live our lives in a way that is right in God's sight or are we going to abide in the world as we know it and live according to the worlds standards?

Where we choose to abide is up to us BUT UNDERSTAND, Jesus came so that we could live.   He came so that we would not have to live under the curse.   The blood of Jesus was shed and just as Abel's blood cried out to God from the earth, so does Jesus' blood cry out to God from the earth for us.    There is a covenant and protection that comes with the blood of Jesus.   We have to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.   We have to accept what He did for us, so that we can move from the place of living under the curse to the place of living under the promise.

Are You Allowing The Distractions That Come With Life To Shift How You See God's Ability To Move In Your Life?

What about today?   What will you do in and with this new day that God has given you?   Will you walk in faith or will you allow fear to overwhelm you?   Will you walk in obedience or will you allow your flesh to lead you?    Will you be strong in the Lord or will you be overtaken by weakness and become weary in all that you do?   How you handle today is up to you.

You may not be able to control all the trials and obstacles that come you way but you have to know that you have a Helper that is ready, willing, and well able to bring you through it all.   God is ready to lead you in the way that you should go.   He is an ever present help in the times of trouble.   He is your Healer and He will deliver you.  God knows everything you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.   You just have to believe and you have to trust that He will do it no matter what is coming your way.

Today is a new day but it is still a day that God has made.  God has not changed and neither has His ability to help you.   Stay focused on the Lord.  Don't allow the distractions that come with life to shift your perspective.   How you see things and how you see God does matter.   Do you see Him as your Comforter, Keeper, Protector, Provider, and Healer?  Understand, He is all that and more.

King James Version

I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

Are You Looking At The Situations In Your Life Through Eyes Of Faith Where You See God Moving On Your Behalf?

Have you ever been afraid to do something because it seemed so hard to do and once you started doing it, it was easier than you thought?  That is what we as people tend to do.   We look at situations and we gage them based on our experiences and what we see as our ability and determine whether or not we think we can accomplish the task set before us.   What we fail to do many times is factor in God's power and His ability to do what needs to be done.    When we factor in God's ability, we realize that there is nothing too hard for God.   So in essence, there is nothing too hard for us.

God is faithful and He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.   He is all-knowing and He is all-powerful.   He is Jehovah Jireh our Provider and He is Jehovah Rophe our Healer.   He is El Shaddai, the God Almighty and   He is Adonai, our Lord and Master.

When we look at situations that we encounter in life, we need to see them through eyes of faith.   Eyes that see God moving on our behalf.   Eyes that see Him and a heart that believes that He is  our provider, healer, and deliverer.   Not eyes that see just what we can do but eyes that see beyond the physical realm coupled with belief and trust in what God has already said He would do.  Fear will cancel out your faith but with faith you come to the realization that you can do all things through Christ.

When You Feel Lost and Alone and Don't Know What To Do, Are You Worrying or Are You Praying and Seeking God?

What do you do when you don't know what to do?   Which way do you go when you don't know which way to go?   When a person is traveling and gets lost, the first thing they should do is stop, get directions, and then proceed.   That's what we need to be doing when it comes to living our lives.

If you don't know what to do next, you should stop and seek God and ask God to lead, guide, and direct your path.    You have to ask Him to show you what to do next.  We have to remember that God has placed His Holy Spirit within us to help lead us into all truth and to show us the things to come.  What some people tend to do is keep going and they keep trying to figure it out on their own without seeking help from God.   They fail to ask the One who knows all, sees all, and can do all things.

We have to remember that we are traveling a journey call life.   We have to remember that God is our guide and His Word is our compass.   We have to remember that He is with us.   He hasn't left us to figure out everything all by ourselves.   However, He did tell us to seek Him and to ask of Him.   We have to make sure that we are doing just that.

Life is a journey!   God is our Guide!   His Word is our compass!

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

John 16:13

King James Version

13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

What Do You Do After You Have Prayed and It Seems Like Nothing Is Happening?

What is it that you have been asking God for?   What is it that you need Him to do?  What is it that is challenging your faith?    We have to understand that our answer is not always going to be immediate.   We have to believe and trust in the fact that God hears our prayers and He is faithful and just to meet our every need.

How often have you prayed and it seemed as though no matter how hard you prayed nothing is happening?   When it seems like you are praying and nothing seems to be happening, you have to stay at a place of faith.   A place where you are not focused in on what you see in the natural but instead you are focused in on who God is and what He said He would do.   Your focus must be in and remain in His Word even when it looks like what you need is not working out.

Faith and patience are both necessary in our walk with God.   We can't determine God's timeframe.    We just have to know that we know that He is a good good Father and He will do what only He can do in and through our lives.

Waiting on God is not always easy but it is always necessary.   We must remember that after we pray, we have to trust, believe, and wait on God to fulfill His promises according to His Word.   Remember, the Lord is good to those whose hope remains in Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Lamentations 3:25-26

“The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.”

Are You Trying To Deal With The Pain That Comes With Life Alone or Are You Letting God and His Word Help You?

Are you letting the pain of your past keep you from trusting and believing God now and for the future?   The one thing we know about pain is it can be so overwhelming that you cannot move.   It will put you in a place where you can't move forward, you can't move backwards, and you are just at a stand still.

Take a moment to think about physical pain after you have had surgery.   The pain can be so overwhelming that you can't move.   The doctor has to prescribe you pain medication to help you endure what your body is experiencing.   It is the same with mental and spiritual pain.   It will hinder and prevent you from growing and at that point you need the prescription of God's Word to help you cope with the pain and heal.

So often in life we try to deal with pain alone because we don't want to become addicted to pain medication and we don't want to ask others for help but the one thing we need to be addicted to in life that can help us cope with anything we encounter in life is God and His Word.   Not only will He take away the pain we are experiencing, He will also take away what caused the pain and bring total healing to our lives.

Now That God Has Brought You Here To This Point In Your Life, What Will You Choose To Do Next? Are You Asking Him To Lead, To Guide, and To Direct Your Footsteps?

What are you choosing to do?   Are you choosing to walk in faith or are you choosing to stay in fear?   Are you casting down the doubt and are you speaking the Word over your situation?   What is it that you are choosing to do?

The thing about choice is we all get to choose?   We can base our choices off of what someone else is doing or we can base them off what God has told us to do.   When we look for answers in our lives, we need to be looking to God.   We need to be calling on God.   We need to be led by God.   No decision should ever be taken lightly because whatever we decide to do lays the foundation for what we get to do next.

Life is full of choices and we have made many choices along the way.   Some of those choices may have been good and some of them may have been bad but either way the combination of your life's choices has brought you right here today.   It has brought you to the place of reading this blog post.

So what next?   What will you choose to do next.    Let me suggest that you take a moment to give God praise.   Thank Him for getting you to this point in your life and then ask Him what next?   Ask Him to lead you, guide you, and to direct your footsteps.   Ask Him to help you to make the right decisions for your life.   We need Him.   He is the only One that knows the beginning to the end and He wants you to know that He is with you on this journey called life and He wants to help you every step of the way.  He will not fail us, leave us, nor forsake us.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Deuteronomy 31:6

King James Version

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

What Bygone Are You Holding On To That You Should Be Saying "Bye Be Gone" To?

Are you willing to let bygones be bygones?   A bygone is something that happened previously.   It is something from the past.   Are you holding on to the things you should have said "bye and be gone" to?     We have to learn the art of release.

Releasing can be a very hard thing to do.   When you release something, you let it go.    You allow something or someone to escape from confinement.   Did you know that you can imprison people by your actions towards them?   What are you holding in confinement in your heart and in your mind that you need to let go of?   What thoughts are ruling, reigning, and dominating your thought process?   Your thought process is the way in which your mind works or should I say the way you think about a thing?    We have to know how to filter our thoughts through the filter of God's love and His forgiveness.    If you don't filter your thoughts through God's love and forgiveness, things will get through your mind, touch your heart, and come out of your mouth or out as actions that are not in alignment with God's Word, His will, or His way.

Learn how to say bye and be gone to things that have hurt you in the past.   Learn how to let the love of God rule and reign.   Think about God's love and forgiveness towards you as thoughts come into your mind about what others have done to you.   Remember how the power of the blood saved, cleansed, and forgave you and know that that same blood is a covering for others too.    Remember, the Word says for us to cast down every thought and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.   Knowledge tells us that we are to imitate who and what God is.   God is love and He is a God of forgiveness.   So when thoughts come up in our minds that don't reflect the love and the forgiveness of God towards others, we should be casting those thoughts down.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Philippians 3:13-14

King James Version

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

What's Your Next Step? Your Next Step Determines The Direction Your Life Will Take.

What's your next step?   What is your next step going to be?   Is it going to be a step of faith or are you going to be walking in fear?   What you have to understand is, God is with you every step of the way.   You just have to trust that He is present even when you don't feel like He is.

Don't be moved by what you see.   Don't be moved by what people say.   Be moved by what God has already said.   He said that He would never leave you nor forsake you.   He said that He would watch over you and keep you.   He said that He would shield you and protect you.   He said that He would watch over His Word to perform it in Your life.   These are the words that you have to move forward based on.

God wants what is best for you.   He wants you to be a person of faith and not fear.   He wants you to be healed, set free, and delivered.   The questions now are, do you believe that He wants what is best for you and do you believe He will give it to you?

As you move forward with God, understand the importance of your next step.   Your next step will determine the direction you will go from this point forward.   Every step we take in life is important but let your next step be be a step of faith that leads and launches you into the great things that God has prepared for your life.

Are You Listening For The Still Small Voice Of God Even When The Voices and Sounds Of The World Get Really Loud In Your Life?

If you hear an alarm, what do you do?   An alarm is meant to alert you.   It is meant to notify you of something that is unusual, potentially dangerous, or difficult.    Do you ignore the alarm or do you at least check to see what is going on to cause the alarm to go off?  What about a siren?  What do you do when you hear a siren?   A siren is a prolonged sound that is used as a signal to warn you of potential danger.   What do you do when internal alarms and sirens begin to go off in your Spirit?   Do you heed the alarms, seek God's face, pray, and wait on God to show you what is wrong or do you ignore the warnings?

Sometimes so much can be going on around you and your heart and mind get so clouded with the voices and the sounds of the world that you can fail to heed the warning sounds of God.    Understand, God is always talking but we have to remember, He is the still small voice.   He doesn't try to shout over the the other voices that are talking to you.   Instead He wants you to be still and know that He is God.   He wants you to tune out the voices of the world and to tune into Him and His Word.   He wants your attention.

When you give God your attention, you take notice of Him.   You stop what you are doing and you focus in on Him.   You cast down every high thing that is trying to gain your attention by exalting itself against the knowledge of who God is and what God has said.   You focus in on God and you position yourself to hear clearly the internal alarms and sirens that God has placed in you.  Know that God's Holy Spirit dwells on the inside of you and it is meant to lead you, guide you, and to warn you while you walk out this journey called life.

Are You Letting Time To Be The Determining Factor As To Whether or Not You Are Going To Walk In Faith?

The Bible says that God knows the things we have need of and that He is faithful and just to provide us with those things.   Do you believe that?   Do you trust that God will do just that?   Understand, God wants to make a way for you and He will provide for you but you have to trust Him to do it.

Are you waiting on God or are you getting restless and fearful because of the length of time it is taking to see the promise come to pass.   We can't allow time to  be the determining factor as to whether or not we will will in faith.  If we knew what was going to happen and the timing of everything that will happen, there would be no need for faith.   God wants us to walk in and stay in faith.   He wants us to believe Him and to trust Him.   He wants us to look at our situations through spiritual eyes of faith and he wants us to stop depending on sense realm evidence because He has the power to override what we see in the natural.

Take time today to speak the Word of God over your life.   Take time to commune with God and to let God know that you trust and believe Him.   Take time to surrender every worry and every doubt to God.   As you wait for God, take time to pray and position yourself to receive the fullness of His promises in your life.

Are You Being Duped By The Devil or Are You Filtering Everything That Is Being Presented To You In Life Through Your Filter Of Faith In God?

Don't be fooled.   When you are fooled, you are tricked, you are deceived, you are duped.   In other words, you are a victim of deception.    Who wants to be a victim and who wants to be deceived?   The whole concept behind deception is to mislead us, hide the truth, and to promote a belief that is not true.   The easiest way to avoid deception is to know what is true and to use that truth as a standard for your life.    Once you settle what is true in your life, you have to refuse to be distracted or persuaded to believe anything different.

God's Word is the truth and we have to let His Word be the standard for our lives.    We have to stand on the Word of God and let what He has said be the final authority for your belief system.    The enemy's whole mode of operation is to promote disbelief.   By that I am saying the enemy wants you to not believe what God has told you.

If Adam and Eve would have just stuck with and stood on what God had said, sin would not have entered the earth but they were persuaded to believe something different than God's words.    Don't allow sin to enter into your life because you fail to believe what God has said.   Take God at His Word and let His Word work for you.   Don't be distracted and don't allow the enemy to camouflage a lie and present it as truth in your life.   Study God's Word and know what is truth so that every situation you are presented with in life will come through the filter of your faith in God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Galatians 6:7-8

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
