Are You Worried About The Enemy Taking Aim At You or Are You Holding Up Your Shield Of Faith Knowing That It Will Quench Every Fiery Dart Of The Enemy?

 The thing about taking aim at something is that you have a specific target in mind.   Your aim is so that you can hit your target.   Your target is what gets your attention.  It is what is singled out in your eyes and in your mind.   Understand, if you are being attacked by the enemy, it is because there is something about your life that is threatening to the enemy to the point that he or she feels they need to attack you.   

 

What is it about you that is threatening your enemies around you?   Could it be the light and the life within you?   The thing about light is that it exposes darkness.   What darkness is it around you that you are exposing that is causing your enemies to feel the threat of your presence or should I say God's presence working in you and through you.   If the light within you is never being seen then you pose no threat to the enemy and there is no need for him to target you or attack you.

 

Don't be moved by the threats or attacks of the enemy.   Know that you are covered by the blood of Jesus and remember, your shield of faith is able to quench every fiery dart of the enemy.    The enemy will shoot his fiery darts but they can't hurt you or harm you because God is on your side.

Have You Taken Time To Ask Yourself Are You Doing All That God Has Called You To Do and Not Just What You Want To Do?

There will be times in your life where you have to ask yourself, are you doing all that God has called you to do?   He has called you to pray.   Are you doing that?   He has called you to walk in love.   Are you doing that?   He has called you to have a heart that forgives.   Do you have that.  There are many things that God has called us to do and sometimes we need to do a self-check to make sure we are doing what He said for us to do and not just what we want to do.

 

Doing what God wants us to do will not always be easy.    There will be times when you are called to pray when you just want to lay in bed and sleep.   There will be times when God tells you to walk in love when the person He is telling you to show love to has many attributes that are unlovable.   There will be times when God tells you to forgive someone when all you can do is think about how they hurt you and you tell yourself what they did was unforgiveable.  But remember, we are called to do what God wants us to do and that can't be based on our emotions and our feelings.

 

When God tells you to pray, remember, someone prayed for you.   When God tells you to walk in love, remember, you are loved.   When God tells you to forgive, remember, you have been forgiven.

Are You Trusting God BEYOND What You See and How You Feel?

Are you trusting God beyond what you see and how you feel?   Are you resting in and on His Word?   Are you taking God at His Word or are you allowing the words of others to move you into a place of unrest and to cause you to live in a place of doubt, stress, and fear?   God wants you to take Him at His Word and He wants His Word to be FOREVER settled in your heart, your mind, and your life.

 

Understand what God means when He says He is not a man and He cannot lie.   Understand, when He says He will take care of you, that is what He will do.   Understand, God is faithful but you have to have faith in who He is and what He said He would do.    

 

Make it a point today to not be moved by what you see and what others say.   Make it a point to take God at His Word.   Make it point to read God's Word and to believe what He has said.   Make it a point to stand still and to know that He is God.

Are You Believing, Trusting, and Saying What God Has Said About Your Situation Even When The Challenges Come?

What is challenging your faith?   What is rising up in your life that is causing you to ask God when or if He is going to move for you?   What is it that has you "wondering if"?   What is it that is causing you to question God?   To ask Him why it hasn't happened and when it will happen?   

 

Whatever it is that is challenging your faith, put the word on it.   Find God's Word concerning your situation.    If lack keeps rising up when you are believing God for increase, confess God's Word that says that He knows the things you have need of and confess that God is faithful and just and will do whatever needs to be done.  If sickness and disease keeps rising up in your body, confess God's Word that says that He is the Lord God that heals you.    Speak life to your life. 

 

The devil is not going to stop messing with you so you have to know how to mess up his plan.   You mess up the devil’s plan when you believe God in-spite of what you see and in-spite of the difficult situations occurring in your life.    Always make sure you are counteracting what the devil is doing by believing, trusting, and saying what God has said about your situation.

What Would You Do If Someone Famous Asked You To Represent Them?

Suppose a dignitary of someone famous sought you out and told you that they wanted you specifically to be their representative.   You are probably thinking what an honor that would be.   Understand, there is no one greater than our God.   No king, no queen, no president, no public official, no actor, no actress, no athlete, or anyone else in heaven or on earth that is greater than our God and He wants us to be His representatives in earth.  We have to understand the honor and the privilege we have been given by God.   The Lord wants us to represent Him in the earth.    

 

Now the question is, how are you representing Him.   When people see you, do they see who and what you are representing?   Can they see God in you and working through you?   Do you feel His love overflowing from your life?   We have to understand, when we represent God, we should be portraying who and what He is and our lives should be putting Him on exhibit. 

 

Understand, God has already given us the greatest honor we can ever receive.   He has asked us to be His representative.   We just have to make sure that we represent Him well.

What Do You Think Is Most Important, Faith or Love?

What do you think is most important, faith or love?   Remember, God is love and He wants us to walk in faith.   Not only does He want us to walk in faith, He wants His love to flow from us to those whom He has placed around us.    He wants others to see who and what He is through us.   That means we have been put on display to be a reflection of love (because God is love) in the earth.   

 

When others look at you or are around you, do they see and feel God's love?   Do they feel as though they are forgiven or do they feel as though they are condemned?   Do they feel as those they are not alone or do they feel lonely even in your presence?   Remember, you are God's representative in the earth and the people whom God has placed in your circle of influence should be able to see who and what God is flowing from your life. 

 

The question was what do you think is most important, faith or love?   Understand, knowing God is love and loving God is what will help to grow your faith in God.

Are You Looking At Life Through The Lens Of God's Love Where You Love Him, Love Others, and Love Yourself?

How is it that you are looking at life?   Are you looking at life through the filter of God's love?   Do you know that God loves you and do you realize that He wants His love to flow through you to others?   Do you see yourself as God sees you and do you see others as God sees them too? 

 

So often in life we confess what God has said about us but we want to make sure we are also confessing God's Word over others.   We want to make sure that we are calling those things that be not as though they were.   We want to be sure we are speaking life not only to our lives but also to the lives of those whom God has placed in our circle of influence.   

 

God always wants us to look at life through the lens of His love.    He wants us to love Him, love others, and to love ourselves.   He doesn't want us to love ourselves to the point of self-conceit or selfishness but He does want us to remember that His Holy Spirit dwells on the inside of us and we need to love every part of who and what He is and that includes loving the part that is in us.

Do You Understand That The Enemy Can't Win Against You Unless You Accept Defeat?

Are you standing and staying on the fact that God is in control?   Do you realize that God's got you no matter what people try to do to you?   Do you understand that you win with God?   

Have you ever had those times in your life when people have come up against you full force in an effort to take you out and God. divinely intervened and brought you out on the winning side?   Those times when your enemies just knew they were going to win against you and God showed that He is for you and with Him on your side, you win every time.   

 

Understand, the enemy is always going to try but he can't win unless you accept defeat.   Are you accepting defeat?    Are you giving in to the demands of your enemy?  Are you surrendering to the enemy because of how things look or because of what someone else has said?    Understand, the appearance of your situation does not limit God's power or ability to move in your situation.    Don't let what you see or what people say cause you to let go of what God has promised you.

Do You Believe That God Can and Will Make A Way?

 What is it that is causing you to want to give up or give in?   No matter what is coming up against us in life, we have to believe that God can.   We have to believe that He can make a way where there appears to be no way.   We have to believe that He can open up doors that have previously been closed.   We have to believe that He can heal us and deliver us.   We have to believe can make a way for us.   Not only do we have to believe that God can, we have to believe that He will. 

Today is a good day to believe that God can and He will do whatever needs to be done in your life.    Today is a good day to surrender your all to Him.   Understand, God doesn't want us living in doubt and fear.   He wants to always live in the place where our trust and our belief is in Him and His power to do whatever needs to be done in our lives.    

 

Make it a point today to trust and believe that God can and will do whatever needs to be done in your life.

What Are You Doing When Things Don't Work Out As You Hope and Planned For Them To Work Out?

What do you do when things don't work out the way you hoped or the way you planned?   Do you give up and quit or do you take a stand on God's Word that says He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things?    Do you trust God and His Word?   Do you believe that God will honor His Word?   He said that He is not a man and He does not lie?   Do you trust Him beyond your own understanding to give you His peace that also surpasses your understanding? 

 

Life can be hard sometimes.   It can be hard to wait patiently on God but you have to have faith in His promises.   He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.   So therefore, you know that in your waiting, you are not alone.   He promised to make a way for you.   So therefore, you know that He has already prepared the way.    

 

We have to know the importance of trust.   We have to trust God and we have to understand that God has entrusted us.   He gave us this life and He placed His Holy Spirit on the inside of us. The question is, what are we doing with this life that He has entrusted us with?

Are You Being Still For God or Are You Letting The Enemy Stop You From Believing In What God Said He Would Do?

What is causing you to give up, to quit, and to give in in life?   What is causing you to stop moving forward with God?   What has stilled you?   What has kept you from believing in what God said that He would do for you, in you, and through you?   

God said in His Word to be still and to know that He is God?   Are you doing that?   Are you being still for God or has the enemy stilled you and stopped you from trusting and believing in what God can do?   Understand, we can be still for the wrong reasons.    We can be stopped by the wrong person.   We have to know when we should be still for God and we should only stop when it is God telling us to stop and not when the enemy is trying to get us to stop. 

 

Think about the purpose of a stop sign.   There is a time to stop and a time you can go.   When you stop at a stop sign, you stop to see if there is any impending danger.   Even though you may be ready to go, it may not be the right time to go because there may be oncoming traffic that would put your life in danger.   So it is with God.   God wants us to learn how to be still (or stop) and to know that He is God.   He wants us to trust His timing and He wants us to move forward when He tells us to go.    However, just because God is telling us to be still and to know that He is God, doesn't mean He is telling us to quit, give up, or to give in.   He is just saying for us to trust His timing and He wants us to let Him do His perfect work in us, for us, and through us.

Are You Trusting God No Matter How You Feel and No Matter How It Looks?

What it feels like is not always what is.  You may feel like things need to work out one way but God is already working it out in ways you cannot see.   We always have to remember that God is always at work and He is always working things together for our good and His glory.   

 

The devil is always going to tempt you and test you.   It is his desire for you to mess up, give up, or quit.  The question is, are you going to allow the devil to win against you?   Are you going to be the champion that God created you to be or are you going to be defeated by the devil who is already defeated?  

 

The choice is yours.   You get to choose whether you are going to stand and stay on the winning side with God or whether you are going to fall and fail under the attacks of the enemy.   Remember, this battle is about your physical and spiritual stand.  So, don't think because you feel like you are failing and falling in the physical realm that you are failing and falling spiritually.   It is your spiritual stand that will hold you up and bring you into a place of victory in this physical realm!  Stand and stay strong spiritually and watch yourself walk in victory in this physical realm!

Are You Running In Fear or Standing In Faith Against All The "Stuff" That The Devil Is Bringing Up Against You In Life?

What are you doing?  What are you saying and doing as the devil is unpacking and unloading his stuff in your life.   Think about it.   The devil will bring you bits and pieces of "stuff" to cause you to be hurt, angry, disappointed, and fearful in life.   He never gives you the whole picture of a thing, he only gives you the pieces that will cause you to walk in fear and doubt concerning whatever situation you are faced with in life.   That is because the whole picture shows that God is on your side and the devil doesn't want you to see or believe that God is on your side.    

 

We have to stop running in fear and we have to start standing and staying in faith.   If we say we are trusting God with it, We have to do just that ... TRUST GOD WITH IT.   If we say we believe God will do it, we have to STAND IN FAITH AND TRUST GOD TO DO IT.    It is all a matter of trust and our trust has to be in and remain in God.    If the devil can keep us from trusting God, he wins.  

 

Remember, when the devil shows up at the doors of your heart and mind and tries to dump his junk in you and on you, you can't allow it to enter in.   You have to keep your thoughts stayed on God and you have to continue to trust God no matter what appears to be happening in your life.   You have to know that You win with God.

Leaping With God and Asking Him To Cause Us To Cross Over The Hurdles and To Avoid The Ditches That Come With Life

 Today is the 1st day of February 2024 and this month has 29 days in it.   It is a leap year.   When you think about the word leap, what does it mean to you?    To leap means to make a sudden movement.   It means to jump or spring a long way.   When you leap, you cross over.   Leaping can help you get over hurdles and avoid ditches.    It can help you get to where you need to be quicker than you would get there by just walking.   

 

As we enter into this "leap month", we need to enter into it in faith.   Trusting and believing that God will do what only He can do.   We need to have a leap of faith where we ask God and expect God to cause sudden movement to take place in our lives and in our situations.   We need to ask God to cause us to cross over the hurdles that the enemy has been placing in our way and to help us to avoid the ditches that come with life.    We need to ask God and we need to expect God to accelerate His blessings upon our lives.
