Are You Still Trusting God To Perfect His Plan When Things Don’t Go The Way You Planned?

What is it that you need God to do?   Do you need Him to heal you?   Do you need deliverance from something that has proven to be a stronghold in your life?   Do you need Him to help you on your job?   Do you need Him to give you peace?   Do you need Him to pay your bills?   What is it that you need for God to do?

It’s so easy to get frustrated when things are not happening the way you think they should be happening.   It’s easy to say I quit.   It’s easy to walk away thinking that God doesn’t love you enough or care enough to move on your behalf.    It is easy to walk in fear instead of continuing to walk in faith but UNDERSTAND AND RECOGNIZE the lies and the deceits of the devil.   Understand, faith requires you to stand even when everything else around you appears to be falling.    Your stand has to be on the solid rock.   It has to be on the Word of God.

When you stand on the Word of God, you know that His Word says that He will never leave you nor forsake you.   You know that He said that He will shield you and protect you.   You know He said that He opens doors that no man can close and He also closes doors that no man can open.   You know that God said that He is watching over His Word to perform it in your life.   You know He said that He has a plan for your life and that plan is to prosper you and to give you an expected end.   You know that if you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land.   You also know that God is able to work miracles for you, in you, and through you.   So, stand on what you know and know that God is with you and His power is at work for you.   Never give up!  As you surrender everything to God, know that He will take care of everything for you.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
1 Peter 5:6-10
King James Version (KJV)
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Are You Pushing Past The Words “I Forgive You” and Truly Forgiving Others In Your Heart?

At some time or some point in your life, somebody has hurt you.  They may have said something or did something to you that just was not right to do.   Understand, ,we are all human.   No, that doesn’t make what they did okay but know that you have a Heavenly Father that wants you to be whole and healed.    He wants you to not only know what it means to receive forgiveness, He also wants you to forgive those who have hurt you.

Forgiveness doesn’t always happen overnight.   It doesn’t happen just because you say the words “I forgive you” out of your mouth but it can start with the words as God heals you,  you will truly be able to release those who have hurt you.

Understand, the enemy will do whatever he can do to try to keep you from walking in forgiveness.   He will remind you of the hurt and the pain and he will intensify that hurt and that pain and make you feel as though you are going through the situation all over again and sometimes you do.

Forgiveness is not easy but it is necessary to move you from a place of bitterness, anger, and strife to a place where you can love unconditionally just as God loves you.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Ephesians 4:32
King James Version (KJV)

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Are You Getting Restless While You Are Waiting On God To Move In Your Life? If So, Be Still and Know He Is God!

Are you walking in fear or are you standing in faith?   Understand, God wants you to walk in confidence.   He wants you to walk on the sure foundation of faith.     He wants you to trust Him and He wants you to believe Him.   He wants you to wait on Him.

So often in life we get restless in the wait.   Instead of waiting on God, we feel we have to do something.   We don’t take God at His Word.   He said for us to BE STILL AND KNOW that He is God.   Instead of waiting and instead of being still, we often try to make our own way.   We have to remember, God said that our ways are not His way.  His way is sure and we have to learn how to trust Him enough to wait in confidence on Him.

The biggest tool the enemy will use while you are waiting on God is fear.   God wants you to fear not.   He wants you to know that He is with you.  He wants you to realize that He is going to work everything in your life together for your good.   Understand, fear starts with a thought but if we don’t cast out the thought of fear, fear will consume us.   It will not only consume us, it will control us.   Don’t allow your life to be ruled and reigned by fear.    Cast down the thought and immediately meditate on what God has said concerning your situation.

Remember, God said that He has a plan and that plan is designed to give you hope, a future, and an expected end.    He said He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.    We have to remember, WITH GOD all things are possible.   So no matter where you are today, it doesn’t determine the outcome of your tomorrow.   God can and will do the miraculous for those who believe, trust, and obey Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Matthew 19:26
King James Version

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Have You Ever Wished You Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time? We Have To Let Our Past Experience Teach Us How To Make Better Decisions In Life...

Have you ever gotten up and said that you wish you could turn back the hands of time so that you can do things differently?   I think we have all at some time or another wished we could go back and change the decision we made and our actions but we can’t go back.   We can’t change what has happened but we can learn from what has happened.  We can take our experiences and let them be lessons that teach us how to make better decisions in life.

God is a good God.   He is a loving, just, and forgiving God.   He knows us.   He knows the decisions we will always make in life.   He knows our beginning to our end and He loves us.    The problem we have sometimes is, we don’t really know ourselves.   We push our flesh to the limit thinking we are wise enough and strong enough to manage and handle ourselves in any given situation but we are not.   We have to learn how to flee from the very appearance of sin.   We have to learn how NOT to test our flesh.    We have to remember, our flesh is weak.    We have to learn how to choose right when the situation is going in the wrong direction.

Well, today is a new day.  God has filled this day with His love, grace, and mercy.   Not only has He filled this day with His love, grace, and mercy, He is with us.   He said that He will never leave nor forsake us.   He has said that His joy is our strength.   He has placed within us His Holy Spirit and we know GREATER is He that is in us than anything coming against us in this world.

No, we can’t change our choices from yesterday but we can make today a better day by just following God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Ecclesiasticus 21:2
King James Version

“Flee from sin as from the face of a serpent: for if thou comest too near it, it will bite thee: the teeth thereof are as the teeth of a lion, slaying the souls of men.”

Are You Being Conscious Of The Words That Are Coming Out Of “Your” Mouth?

Are you being conscious of the words that are coming out of your mouth.  So often we say something about what someone else has said, but the question is, what are we saying?   There is a saying that says, “do you hear the words that are coming out of my mouth”.   The question is, what is coming out of your mouth?   Are words of encouragement coming out of your mouth?  In other words, are you encouraging yourself and others in and with the Word of God or are you speaking words of discouragement.

To discourage means to damper, constrain, restrain, and restrict.   It means to be an obstacle, to put down, and to hinder.   What are your words doing when they leave your mouth?    When we encourage ourselves and others, we stir up, give confidence, and give hope to what may appear to be a hopeless situation.

Be mindful of your words today and every day.   Let the fruit of righteousness be what comes out of your mouth.   Don’t allow your mouth to be a tool that tears down others.   Don’t be a person who gossips.   Be a person that speaks life to your life and the lives of others.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Ephesians 4:29
King James Version

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”

Have You Settled It In Your Heart and Mind That There Is Nothing To Hard For God?

What are you looking for?   What is it that you are wanting God to do in and with your life?   Are you seeking God and His Kingdom?   Is it your desire for His light to shine brightly through you so that others can see His goodness, grace, love, and mercy shining through you?

Are you walking in faith or are you allowing fear to overtake your heart and your mind?   Are you trusting God and not leaning to your own understanding of your situation?    What is it that you are doing that is showing that your heart, mind, and life are all surrendered to God?

What will you do next?   What will you do when you are confronted with situations that are beyond your control?   Will you be still and know that God is God and understand there is nothing that is beyond His control.   We tend to want to be in control when God is telling us to let Him have control.

Understand, God loves you and He wants you to keep your eyes stayed on Him.   He wants you to settle it in Your heart and mind that there is nothing (no thing) to hard for Him.   He wants you to trust Him and He wants you to fear NOT!   He wants to show you and those around you that He is well able to take care of you.   He wants to bless you and He wants to use your life for His glory.   Will you let Him?   Will you be still and know that He is God?    Will you surrender your all to Him right now?   Will you walk in obedience?   Will you trust God to be God in your life?

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Jeremiah 17:7-8
King James Version (KJV)
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

What Do You Do When Things Don’t Work Out As Expected? Are You Still Trusting God’s Plan?

Things don’t always turn out the way we plan but we adjust.   We have to start trusting in God’s plan.   When you trust in God’s plan, you don’t focus so much on how things are going, you focus on the fact that you know that God will work it all together for your good and His glory.  The Bible says to put our trust in God and not man.   When it talks about not putting our trust in man that includes “self”.   We can’t put our trust in what we want and what we think.   Our faith, hope, and confidence must always be in God.

Sometimes life gets hard.  Sometimes we don’t know which way to go or what to do.   Sometimes we encounter sickness, disease, hurt, pain, and lack but we have to know the Waymaker.   The One who makes a way when there appears to be no way.  We have to know the Healer.   The One who heals our sickness, disease, heart, mind, and finances.   We have to know that not only is He our Father, He is our source, supply, and everything we need.

We have to get past being stuck on asking God “why” things are happening and start praising Him in advance, knowing that He will honor our faith and our obedience to Him.  So continue to walk in faith understanding that walking in faith is positioning you for God to bless you.   Stay in position and fear not.  Know that God is well able to take care of you no matter what you are facing in life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 118:8
King James Version (KJV)

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Are You Trusting God Through The Process or Doubting Him?

Are you saying that you trust and believe God in one breadth and then doubting God in the other?   You have to understand, doubt cancels out your faith.   Doubting God is not trusting God.    You  have to stay in faith.   You have to trust God to do what He said He would do.   You have to cast doubt that is causing you to walk in fear.   You have to take God at His Word and trust Him to do what He said He would do.

The main thing the devil wants to take away from you is your faith.   He wants you to give up on God.   He wants you to walk in fear.   He wants you to try to accomplish things on your own and he never wants you to give God credit for the blessings in your life.   If you look at the world today, you constantly see people blaming God for the catastrophes but never praising God for the miracles.

God is a good God and He wants us to trust Him.   He wants us to believe that He will do what He said.   He wants us to stay in faith.   He wants us to doubt not and to fear not.   He wants us believe Him and He wants us to wait on Him.    So don’t allow doubt to enter in when you are walking in faith.   Make sure you are casting down all doubt and fear.  The devil will use fear to intimidate you.     In other words, the devil will try to scare you so that you can do what he wants you to do and that is give up on God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Deuteronomy 20:3

And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

Is Your Trust In The Faithfulness Of God?

God is a good God and He is a faithful Father.   Are you trusting in His faithfulness?   Do you believe that He will do what He said He would do?   Are you waiting on Him and walking in His plan concerning your life or are you trying to make your own plans?

We have to get to the point where we trust God completely.   Where we trust and believe that He will watch over us, shield us, protect us, provide for us, and keep us.   We have to believe that He is God all by HImself and He is well able to bring deliverance in and to our lives.

God’s love is unchangeable.   He doesn’t love us today and forget about us tomorrow.  He has proven His love to us over and over again.   He proved it by sacrificing His Son on the cross for us.   He continues to prove His love through His divine forgiveness.   He forgives us over and over again, even when we don’t deserve it.

So today walk boldly in your faith.   Know that God loves you and reciprocate that love back to Him.   Live your life sacrificially.  Sacrifice those things that appeal to your flesh and walk with God in Spirit and in truth.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalms 37:5

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass.

Are You Allowing Your Life To Be Controlled By How You Feel or What God Has Said? Are You Speaking Life To Your Life and The Lives Of Others?

Have you ever been around people where everything they say is negative?   Where they talk as if there is nothing positive going on in their lives.   Don’t be that person.   Don’t be the person who strips another person of their faith.    Be an encourager.   Be one who says that God will bring you through.   Don’t dwell on the negative impacts of life.   Dwell on what is good.  Dwell on the fact that through it all, God delivered you.

So often in life our words and our emotions are based on what we are going through at that given moment.   We have to know how to speak life to our lives.   We have to begin to call the things that are not as though they were.   We have to do what God did when He created the heavens and the earth.   He spoke things into existence.   We have to learn how to override our emotions and speak words that pertain to what God has said about our lives and not just talk based on how we feel.

God is a good God and He is well able to change our circumstances.   We have to trust Him and we have to believe He will do whatever is needed.   So don’t be dismayed.   Don’t allow your life to be controlled by how you feel and don’t allow your words to cause others to feel negatively about their lives.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

King James Version

Are You Allowing The Enemy's Actions To Affect Your Emotions?

What is your response to what the enemy is doing?   Are you responding in fear or are you amping up your faith?    Are you resting in God...
