Whose lost? Who is it that God has put on your path of destiny to build up ... to edify ... to encourage that you have let go of? Where are they? What are they doing? Are they hurting? Are they stressed? Have you allowed your entertainment to be blockage to the plan of God? Understand that entertainment is defined as the things that "you" enjoy. Whether it be people, places, or things .... what is occupying you to the point that you have let people go that you know God called you to be connected with?
Did you let them go based on hurt? Did you let them go based on fear? When you know it was a divine connection .... why did you let go? Why did you give up on them? Why did you quit? Was it offense? Where you feel like they violated you or did something against you. We have to begin to understand the tactics of the enemy and the manipulation of the mind.
Understand that there is power in prayer and strength that comes from encouragement. You may feel strong but the other person you were connected with may feel weak. How would you know if you continue to allow the gulf of disappointment to be between you?
Are you trying to dictate to God what you want Him to do? Are you getting discouraged? How can you tell God the Creator of the Universe ... the Creator of you what needs to be done? Are you not trusting that He knows the needs of that which He created? Understand today that discouragement is inevitable when your life is out of balance. You become out of balance when you begin to think that you should dictate to God what He is to do. Your job is to trust God ... not dictate to God. You job is to believe God and not try to change His mind.
Why do you think it is the Bible tells us to have the mind of Christ? Understand that Christ had the mind of the Father. He knows the things that pleased God. He didn't have to change God's mind .... He just had to live out God's plan. That is what we are called to do. To live out God's plan. God is not called to live out your plan.
It is time to try a different approach. Instead of telling God what you want Him to do .... ask Him what He wants you to do. Ask Him how do you walk in the fullness of His word. Ask Him to take away your way of doing things and fill your heart and mind with his way of doing things.
Discouragement comes with "weight". When you get things out of balance and think that you must do what God has already done .... discouragement is inevitable. You are at that point carrying the weight of God. His load. Did He not say for you to cast your cares on Him for He cares for you. Don't try to carry what He has told you to cast ... at that point you are out of balance.
What is the message turning over inside of you today? The word that God is trying to get out through you? The thing that God is stirring through your heart and your mind? It's time to let it out. It's time to share it. Understand that there is a word that God is trying to release through you. A word that will minister to those around you. There are some people that God has ordained to be reached through your destiny. Many others may talk to them .... but they will truly be touched by the word that is inside of you.
You are a point in God's kingdom connection. Understand that there are people connected to your line of destiny. They are searching and they are seeking. Understand people respond to sound differently. I can hear a sound and it may affect me differently than it affects you. There is a sound that can come from only you. A sound that will resonate in the hearts and the minds of those whom God has placed in your life. It's time to release the sound. It's time to blow the trumpet within you. You have a sound within you that will set off a sound like a trumpet does. A trumpet initially was used as a signaling device. Used to announce and proclaim something relevant. It's time for you to be as the trumpet .... to set off a sound that announces and proclaims your Father and King.
Preparedness....
To be in a state of readiness. Are you prepared? You say you want God to move you ... to elevate you .... But are you really ready? Are you ready for the battles that might come because the enemy knows you are getting closer to God? Are you ready to stand no matter what? You say or said that you want to be married. But are you willing to fight for the marriage that God has given you or will give you? Always understanding that a house divided will fall. Are you willing to do what it takes to eliminate division in your house? How about the job that you have been asking God for? Are you really ready for the responsibility that will come along with the promotion? And what about the return of Christ .... is your life and love walk in line with God's word? We have to become prepared. Are you really ready for the next level God is taking you to?
Every level that you go to, is a different level where you should display who you are in God. Your faith is on display. Your walk is on display. How you talk is even on display. You are a representation. The question is .... are you allowing people to see the beauty inside of you? The God in you? The love in you?
Take time to prepare yourself. To empty yourself of any and all things that do not benefit your Kingdom walk. Fill yourself with His word and allow the fruit of His word to be made manifest in your life.
Are you speaking to the destiny that lies inside of people? Not just to the person you see or the actions they do. So often we get caught up on what someone is doing or how someone is acting .... we forget that they have a destiny and there is royalty inside of them. In just thinking about how my daughter addresses my son .... she always calls him "bru". I don't think I can remember many times in the past 20 years that she has called him by name. She always calls him by who he is. The same with my grandchildren ... they call her "auntie". They don't call her by name. We have to get to that place. The place where our conversations and our attitudes address the destiny in people and not just what we see physically.
Make it your purpose to see inside those around you today. See what God has called them to be. Don't just be moved by their actions and want to call them what the flesh is trying to dictate. See what God has said and speak to their destiny. Address them according to their destiny. Look inside of your children and look beyond where they are and what they have been doing. Begin to declare and to decree what God has said about their lives and who they were created to be.
How often do you say Lord help me and then you stop and wonder if He is there? You ask yourself can He hear you? Then you ask Him do you hear me? How often do you think that God is ignoring your prayers? Your petitions? You wonder why everyone else seems to be getting blessed .... but you. How often do you cry aloud to God saying help me? Understand .... God wants you to need Him. He wants you to trust Him. He wants you to cry to Him.
It is not that God is ignoring you. What you have to understand is that time is "in" God. What we see as now .... is actually yesterday, today, and tomorrow in God. His day is not based on what we see or how we feel because He can see your tomorrow. He sees your need met in Him. He sees the exact moment that He has prepared to give you your request.
It's hard to rest. It's hard to trust when you don't know what to expect. Shift your expectancy. Let your expectancy be in God and God alone. When your expectancy (no matter the situation) is in God ... you realize that He will work all things out for your good.
If it was your birthday and you were given the greatest gift of all .... how would you react? That thing that you have wanted so long and you thought was out of reach ..... what if you got it? What would be your response?
Understand today .... God has given you the greatest gift of all. He has given you eternal life through His Son .... so what is your reaction? Is it a reaction of praise and thanksgiving or stillness and complaints about what else you think you need? Isn't it funny how we have the ultimate gift and yet sometimes we constantly talk about what we don't have? When will we get to the understanding that God does not give us things bit by bit. He has already given us everything we need. The problem is ... we haven't learned how to access the things that are contained within the gift.
We have to get to a place of understanding that everything we need is within the seed of His Son. We need to stop looking for things to come. When we do that we are trying to separate the blessings from the "Son". We have to understand that the blessing is in the gift of His "Son". As we honor, respect, and acknowledge the Son.... the gifts that are contained within the blessing of the "Son" are opened up, revealed, and poured out upon our lives.
Do you realize how much the Father really loves you? You say you do? But do you really? Do you really love God the way you say you do? When you love someone or something it triggers an action and reaction. What action is being revealed based on your love for God? Is it obedience? Is it love? Is your talk different? How about your walk? Do you still go to the same places and do the same things? Do you treat people differently? Are you more understanding and more compassionate?
What is different about how you are now versus how you were then?
God loves you so much that He sacrificed for you? To sacrifice means to surrender. He surrendered His Son for you. What are you surrendering for Him? Your attitude, your actions, your reactions? Your heart, your will, your emotions? Are you willing to give Him your all as He has given you His all? Love is an action that is calling for your reaction. Your response. What will it be? Are you "really" willing to give God your all? To surrender your all to be used by Him?
What do you do when you feel like your to tired to pray? To tired to speak the word? To tired to do what God is telling you to do? Do you just do nothing? Or do you press? Press is defined as causing things to move into position by exerting force. Sometimes you have to force yourself to do what your flesh does not want to do. Sometimes you have to pray when you don't feel like praying. Sometimes you have to read when you don't feel like reading. Sometimes you have to speak when you don't feel like speaking. God's desire is for you to operate in His will and that you read and speak His word.
Today God wants you to press. Press into His plan. Press into His purpose. Press into His will for your life. Don't operate based on how you feel .... Operate based on what you know God wants you to do. You life cannot be based on how you feel. That would mean you are leading a soulish life. Your soul is comprised of your mind, your will, and your emotions. When you do things based on how you feel, you are living based on your emotions. Walk your life out in the spirit according to what God is telling you to do in His word.... so that you can receive the benefits of living a spiritual life based on His word. Amen.
Are you receiving what God has for you or are you rejecting His presence and His power? So often we want it our way and if it doesn't come our way .... we reject God. We have to get to a place where we accept Him. Accept His plan and accept His way. He knows the things that He has prepared for you. It's not about what you have prepared. We tend to prepare our own desire of an outcome in our hearts and in our minds. That's not God. That's our way of thinking and our way of wanting it done. It's time we totally trust God. Trust the plan that He has had since the foundation of the earth. Trust that He is "God" enough to take care of us. To supply our needs. To heal us. To deliver us. Trust that He is "God" enough to know (as He has already said) the things we have need of and that He is faithful enough to provide us with them.
Stop rejecting God's way of doing things. Stop questioning His sovereignty. Accept His plan and trust His outcome. His word says that His plan is to give you a hope .... a future .... and an expected end. So where you are right now is not your final destination. Sometimes it may seem as if we are motionless .... when in fact it is a short period of waiting. However, in our desire to want what we want right now .... we do things that cause our short waiting period to become an extended layover. Stop extending your time by venturing into destinations that are not conducive to God's plan for your life. Learn how to stand still and be at peace when God says to wait on Him.
What is "wowwing" you and causing you to be distracted? When something "wows" you .... it carries within it an element of pleasure and surprise. What is it about this world that is surprising you to the point of distraction and disobedience? We have to be careful about the things we are drawn to. We have to understand that the enemy knows our weaknesses. He knows the things that entice our flesh. Your weakness is in your flesh. That is why it is so important to gird up your spirit. To fill it with God's word. There should be a guard that stands up in your spirit that is based on God's word. That will intervene the attack. That will say ... hold on ... wait a minute. That's not what God said. Now the question is .... are you strengthening that guard. Are you pouring the word into your spirit so that it is available when something comes against your flesh? Or are you taken off guard and adhering to the distractions of the world?
There are many things in life that are enticing or that cause a struggle. However, you are called to overcome them all. Let your pleasure be in God and let your elements of surprise come when you see Him so awesomely bless your life.
Wake up... It's time to get up from the place where you have been sitting. The place where you have been settling. It's time to move from that place and move into the place that God has ordained and predestined. Your life is not based on your ability. Your life is based on God's word.
Understand the word ability means the capacity in which you can do something. We operate on a limited capacity unless we operate in God. We don't have everything in us to make everything work the way we want it to work. However, we have everything in us to make things work the way God has ordained it to work. When something is ordained it has already been ordered and decreed. In other words .... God's word has already been spoken by His order and His decree. Therefore it is already in action. You have His Spirit living inside of you. If you act on the word that He has already spoken .... it must come to pass because He has already said it.
We must learn to say what He says and to do what He does. Line your words up with His words. Stop living life by trial and error. You are already predestined. When He predestined you .... He prepared you.
Do you really realize just how much God loves you?How much He cares for YOU?It’s easy to believe that God loves others …. But do you truly understand His love for you?So often it is hard to believe God’s power and God’s grace. We get so caught up on our past that we think our past hinders us from receiving God’s grace. Not true.God said His grace is sufficient.Sufficient means it is more than enough. It covers all.It does mean that His forgiveness only covers part of what you have done done. Some tend to think that the mistake they made is too much for God to forgive.Understand at that point, you are only holding yourself captive.
It is time to release whatever is holding you captive.Whatever mindset you are holding on to … let it go.These are just disruptions to your walk with God.Don’t allow your walk to be disrupted by things that God has already shed blood over.Recognize the patterns of life.Life will sometimes form a pattern to try to make you believe differently than what God has said.It goes back to being led and ruled by the word and not by situations and emotions.
When you truly understand God’s love for you …. you can truly walk in God’s word He gave you without the feeling of condemnation.
What now? What do you do now? Now that the season is changing and the tide is shifting? What is it that you are called to do?
We all ask these questions and the hardest part is waiting on God for the answer. We live in a state of "I need to know now". We don't know how to be still and wait. We don't understand what it means to let God truly be in control. We are consistently and constantly trying to figure it out or make it work. We have to begin to understand that that is not God's desire for us. His desire is that we walk in patience and trust His word. Yes its hard because we can't see the immediate outcome. We have truly walk in faith and trust His word. We have to truly take hold of scriptures that says to have faith in God. When we worry and doubt our faith has at that point shifted. Our faith is then based on what we can do and what we can accomplish within ourselves. That is not how we are called to live. Faith in God is solid because you understand that He knows all and sees all and He knows what is best for you. Whether it feels like it is the best or not. God said He would work all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. So understand that your feelings do not predict your outcome.
If you need to know what to do next.....the answer is....wait on God. Trust God. Believe God. He has promised that He will take care of YOU. Amen.....
How is your mind? What are your thinking? What is the source of your thoughts? The word I am hearing today is "reprobate". It means unprincipled ... depraved ... shameless. It means to be rejected by God with no hope of salvation. It means to be lacking of the standards of rightness and morality. Or should I say to lack righteousness and the desire to do what is right. It means lacking honor and integrity. Another word for reprobate is depraved. Depraved means corrupt or perverted. Reprobate also means shameless ... to feel no disgrace. Are there things in your life that you know don't necessarily line up with the word or will of God .... yet you feel no disgrace for doing it anyway?
How is it that we walk with Him ... talk to Him ... talk about Him ... and even confess Jesus to be our Lord and Savior .... YET we do and say anything. More than doing and saying anything ... we have no shame for the things we do and say that we know are totally outside of the will and way of the Father.
Romans 1:28 talks about God giving the people over to their reprobate mind. When you look at the scripture you can see how one's mind becomes reprobate. People with a reprobate mind first of all do not retain God in knowledge. Understand you have to gain and retain the knowledge of who God is. By not retaining God in knowledge, it causes your mind to become perverse. When something is perverse ... it is directed away from what is right or good. When your mind is perverse, you do those things which are not convenient. Those things that are not suitable for God's purpose or your needs.
Gain knowledge today. Refresh, Restore, and Renew your mind. Keep in the forefront of your thoughts and your life ... who God is and what He has done. Never allow your mind to come into a state of being reprobate.
Romans 1:28 - King James Version (KJV)
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Don't Forget To Take A Moment To Pray With Us.
You can get to today's daily prayer by clicking the following link .....
Are you allowing the love of God to flow through you? You are a vessel to be used by God. When people come in contact with you .... they should be able to drink from the fountain of life that flows from you. They should be able to drink words of encouragement. They should be able to drink words of peace. They should be able to drink love and gratitude from you. The fountain of God should be continuously flowing from your life.
If you are not overflowing with love, peace, joy, and goodness ..... what is coming from you? What are people getting when they encounter your presence? Are they getting the overflow of your stress and distress? Are they getting the overflow of your worry and your doubt? If they are not getting the love and the peace of God from being in your presence .... then maybe you need to spend more time with God. Allow Him to fill you to the point of overflow .... so that the overflow can counteract your circumstances.
Be the fountain you were created to be .... so that when people who are hurt, sick, and lonely come into your presence ..... they will be covered by the overflow of God that is coming from your life.
God has told us to be patient and He has also told us to be longsuffering. It's easy to think that they both mean the same thing. But they don't. To be patient means to endure. It is the ability to wait without becoming annoyed or anxious. It is primarily dealing with self. Whereas longsuffering in most cases deals with the actions and attitudes of others. How you endure their actions. How you wait and not become annoyed or anxious with others. It is patiently enduring wrongs and difficulties. Wrongs and difficulties are things that people do to you.
Understand today that God wants you to be both patient and longsuffering. It's not easy to do. It's not easy to overlook or should I say endure what others are doing to you that you feel is wrong. It's not easy to wait on what you are believing God for. But still .... it is required. It is what God is telling us to do. We have to learn how to step outside of self. How to step outside of what we want or what we think we deserve. After all..... it's not about us. The walk that we are walking and the talk that we are talking is a supposed to be about God. About His love and about His plan of salvation. It is only when we direct it to us and about us that we become impatient or hurt. Patience and longsuffering comes when you realize that what you are doing and how you are living is for God and in God.
What are you imparting today? When Paul wrote each of the epistles .... He started by speaking grace and peace to the people. What have you spoken today into the lives of those that are around you. Have you spoken words of edification or encouragement. Have you told them that you love them and that you need them. Have you extended a hand of help and a word of hope. Your words are fillers to the containers of peoples hearts. Are you filling them with light and life. Are you pouring out God's love and His compassion. Think about it .... every time Paul addressed the church he spoke grace over their lives. He spoke peace. Grace is God's unmerited divine assistance. Peace is defined as freedom .... It is a place of tranquility and quietness. A place where you cannot be disturbed.
Let's learn from the actions of Paul. Let's begin to speak words of life into the lives of God's people. Let's take the opportunities we have to encourage people and lift them with our words. To let them know they can make it and God will help them. Be a vessel that imparts into the lives of others. Amen.....
What is it that God really wants you to do? How is it that He really wants you to act and react? Are you doing it? Do your responses reflect who He is? How about your attitude? When others come into your presence can they tell that you serve the God of gods and King of kings? Or do you just go with the flow. The flow of what everyone else is doing and what everyone else is saying? Are recognizing the patterns in YOUR life? The times you give in .... the times you quit. The failures that you keep failing at and the things that you just don't seem to be able to overcome. At the same time do you recognize the achievements? The areas where you have been strengthened and the things you just don't do anymore.
It's time to step it up. Step up your faithfulness. Step up your trust. Step up your level of belief. It's time to make up your mind and stick with the decision that you make. It's time to accelerate in the spirit. To really believe that you believe and to know that you know. It's time to cross the threshold that separates the natural from the supernatural. It's time to put your trust totally in God. Now that you know that it is time ... the question is .... are you willing to do what God wants you to do?
Do you ever feel as though you overcome one challenge and there another one is to take its place? Do you find your self asking "why God"? God wants you to know that the challenges are only meant to build you up. Isn't it funny .... because when you are going through you feel as though it is the challenge that is tearing you down. Understand anytime you do a renovation project .... there are some walls, floors, etc. that have to be torn down and out BEFORE you can build anything back up. There are also some projects that seem to take more time than others. Renovating. Understand that God is continually renovating our lives. We ask Him all the time ... refresh me Lord. Restore me Lord. Remake me Lord. That's what He is doing. He is putting you back together again.
Don't be overwhelmed with the process. Just get in place so that you can be overtaken with the result. A life that is complete and refurbished by Him. Remember everything about God is new. His mercy, His grace, His peace, His power .... nothing in God grows old. Also understand that everything about God is available to you. For YOU are His dwelling place and He sees what needs to be changed, fixed, and restored. Amen.....
How are you treating those around you? Those whom God has placed in your circle of influence. Are you letting them know you appreciate them? Or are you just expecting them to know without you saying? We have to get to a place where we understand and appreciate everything and everyone God has placed in our lives. We have to understand that the people around us carry soil within them. Everything that we do and everything that we say is planting seeds into the soil of their hearts. We have to make sure our seed is right. That we are planting life and not death. That we are planting power and strength into the lives which God has entrusted us with.
Understand your words mean something. Your conversations carry weight. Make sure that the conversations you are having are to build others up and not talk behind their backs. Make sure your conversations are edifying and encouraging. Make sure that you do and say what God does and says. Don't get caught in the trap of gossip. Always remember .... whatever seeds you sow ... you shall also reap.
Are you wondering when God is going to bring it to pass? Are you wondering how to complete what God has told you to do? Are you asking when God? Why God? What next God? Today's scripture on Bible Gateway is ... Philippians 1:6 ..... It says:
Amplified Bible (AMP)
6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
Be convinced and be sure today. Be convinced that God begin a good work in you. Be convinced that He is developing that good work and perfecting it. After you are convinced ..... be sure. Be sure that your Father, your Daddy, your King who began this good work .... will bring it to completion.
So often we get caught on the when God or the why God. God is saying wait on Him. He is saying I am doing it. He is saying you might not see it .... but I'm working it out. Trust the work of God in your life. Keep your eye focused on the end result and not the process in between. Trust the word within.
What do you do when it's hard? When it looks like the outcome is not what you want or what you need? Do you give up and quit? Or do you give in to God? Understand the difference between giving up and quitting versus giving in to God. Giving in to God is an act of surrender. It is telling God .... not my will but your will. Not my way but your way. Whereas when you give up and quit .... you lose faith .... hope .... and trust. It is saying you don't think it can be done.
Understand in all things God wants us to give in to Him. He wants us to say .... Lord I trust you and I'm not trying to do this alone. He wants us to allow Him to be in control instead of us trying to maintain control. Are you willing to give in to God? To give in to His plan for your life. Understand .... I am not saying give up and quit. I am not saying to lose faith, hope and trust. When you give in to God you are saying .... I trust you Lord. My faith is in you Lord. My hope and expectation is for you to do what I cannot do. So today .... make it your determined purpose to give in to the plan of God for your life.
What is your reality? Is it what you are going through or is it what God has told you? Understand that there is a difference in knowledge and knowing. You can have knowledge of something .... but until you experience you really don't know if it truly works the way you have been told. With God you should have a knowing. You know how He has delivered you in the past. You know how He has healed you in the past. You know how you have prayed and how He has answered your prayers in the past. So have you a knowing. It's not just what you have heard. It's not just based on knowledge .... it's based on experience.
So what you are going through right now is not your reality. Your reality is who God is and what God has said. Your reality is based on prior experience. You know that God is real. You know that He loves you. You know He answers prayer. You know how to walk in faith and how to wait on God answer. Don't be moved by what it looks like .... be moved by what you know ..... and the one thing that you know is ..... GOD IS REAL. Make sure God is your reality and not your circumstance. Amen...
The question for today is .... are you tired yet? Are you ready to give it all over to God? God is a gentleman .... He is not going to just take something from you. Usually if we keep a thing it is because we want it. Think about that. All the hurts, all the pains, all the disappointments that you are still holding on to. We hold on to things because we want them. It's not because we have to have them..... it is because we want to hold on to them. If you have made up in your mind that you don't want these things anymore .... it's time to do what the Bible said. Cast them on God. Cast your cares. Cast your hurts. Cast your worries. Cast every disappointment. Give it all over to God. Let Him take all this stuff that you have been trying to carry alone.
It's time to let go and let God. Let Him be the deciding force in your life. The divine force in your life. Let Him be God. Stop trying to do His job .... He is well able. Trust in His power. Trust in His ability and trust in His will for your life.
Are you willing to trust God to take you all the way? Not to just begin the process but to complete it. Many times we ask God to do something for us and we have faith for Him to do it. However, in the midst of it getting done .... we give up and we quit. My question for you today is are you willing to trust God to complete the work that He has begun? Do you really believe that He is faithful and true? Do you believe that He cannot fail?
Understand today that God is Alpha and Omega. He is the beginning and the end. He doesn't just start things. He completes every work that He begins. Are you willing to step into a place of complete trust? "Complete" faith in God and His word. Are you willing to let Him takeover. The burden was never meant for you to bear. When we carry things that are too heavy for us .... we lose strength and then we are ready to give up and quit. Why not just let God be God.
If you trusted Him to begin the work ..... Trust Him to finish it.
Are you enduring? To endure means to suffer something painful or difficult patiently. Now my question is why are your enduring? Are you enduring because you have done everything that you can do (including applying God's word to the situation)? Or are you enduring because you have failed to apply God's word to the situation? Sometimes the things we are consistently going through are just because we are failing to apply God's word. We are failing to truly trust Him for the outcome.
Make sure the suffering you are going through is not self inflicted based on failure to fully apply the word of God to the situation. If this happens to be the case .... the good thing is .... you can still apply the word. You can still cause things to change once you speak the word to the situation.
Understand there will be times when you will have to endure and you will have to wait on His word to come to pass. Just be sure that you are not enduring unnecessarily.
4th of July. Today is the day we call "Independence Day". Praise God for our freedom in Him. Praise Him for what He has done to declair our freedom. But understand .... you are free "in" Him but you were not created to be independent from Him. Understand the word independent means to be free from outside control and not depending on another's authority. It means to be self contained and self sufficient. That we are not. Outside of God .... we lack what we need in order to be survive. He is our sufficiency. He is our source.
Today we praise God for freedom from bondage, freedom from slavery, and freedom from another man's control and we must also praise Him for our sufficiency in Him and Him alone. For it is only in Him that we live, breathe, and have our being. It is only in Him that we are healed, set free, and delivered. It is not something that we have done or accomplished on our own. Our freedom is in Him and Him alone.
As you celebrate today .... celebrate it knowing that you are independent from the world but totally dependent on the Father. Celebrate it knowing that your Father, your Creator, and your King has made you free "in" Him and that your sufficiency has and always will be in Him. He has not left you to fend on your own. Amen.....
Are you voting God? To vote means to make a formal indication of a choice between two or more candidates or courses of action, expressed typically through a ballot or a show of hands or by voice. What is it that you are formally choosing. Taking a stand on? Selecting? What is it that your ballot, hands, and voice are confirming? Are your hands lifted in praise to your God. If the ballot was the picture of your life ..... would it reflect that you are choosing to live for and in God? Or would it reflect no representation or undecided? Understand in the Kingdom .... there is no undecided vote. Either you choose to live for God or not.
We have to get tothe place where we understand that voting is not just about public elections. Yes that is important. Understand when you vote you put a seal on what you say you believe and what you stand for. You sign the petition to co-labor with whomever or whatever you are voting for. You are saying that you back up their beliefs or way of doing things. Make sure that your seal is only placed on things that represent who your Daddy is. What your Daddy does and what your Daddy has said that you "must" believe. There is no in between.
Your life is a representation of a vote. What you say, what you do, and what you believe seal what you stand for. Make sure your representative .... the one you put in charge of your life .... is God.
What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for God to make the first move? His word says if you draw nigh to Him, He will draw nigh to you. Are you drawing nigh to God? Near in your thoughts, near in your motives, near in your actions and your reactions. Is He the first and foremost thing on your mind? Your priority? Understand that priority determines positioning. We position things we do and say based on how we prioritze them. The thing that is priority in your life is the thing that you consider to be most important.
Take time to analyze your life. What is the first thing you do in the morning? Do you thank Him for waking you up? Do you pray? What about when you have a need? Do go to God first about the need? Or do you try to figure out a way to get it done? What if you get sick? Is the first route you take one of praying for healing? It's time we make God our priority. Put Him first in everything we do, think, or say. Amen.....
God will do whatever you need Him to do .... as long as what you need Him to do lines up with His word, His will, His purpose, and His plan. Understand that every blessing that you have is "in" God. "In" His word. "In" His will. "In" His plan. Sin is not "in" Him. How can you expect Him to bless you with something that is "outside" of who He is.
We have many requests to God. We have to look at those requests and ask ourselves. Is this a part of who God is? We have to determine whether or not our lives will remain pleasing to the Father if we were to receive our petition. Will we still be walking holy? Will we still be walking pure? Will we still be seeking His face, His power, and His plan? What will our actions and reactions be as a result of receiving our petition.
God wants to bless you and there are many blessings stored "in" Him. It all goes back to the outer court, inner court, and holy of holies. God's perfect will resides inside of the holy of holies. There are things that He will do for you while you are in the outer court. Then when you come closer to Him ... there are things that He will do in the inner court. But there are things that you need from Him that can only be accessed in the holy of holies. They dwell within Him and that is the place where your heart and your mind has to be determined that it is all about Him ... His will, His purpose, and His plan. There is a requirement of sacrifice before you can get to that place and the sacrifice requires that you trust Him and lay it all down in order to pick up His purpose, His plan, and His will for your life.
