Are You Making Statements of Faith or Announcements of Doubt?

What are you agreeing with?   Are you making statements of faith or announcements of doubt?  When you announce something, you broadcast it, declare it, and make it publicly known.   What are you broadcasting?  Are you declaring the fact that you have total faith and trust in God, or are you broadcasting the fact that your faith has holes in it and you doubt whether God will come through for you.

Understand what it means to make a faith confession.   A faith confession is a confession of your faith.   Your faith confession is a statement that is made in agreement with God and His Word despite your circumstances.    Our confession brings to life the fact that we know and understand what it says in Proverbs 18, when it talks about the power of life and death being in our tongue.   We have to learn to speak life regardless of our current situation.

Proverbs 18:21

King James Version (KJV)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

“Father today we come to You thank You for all that You have done for us.   Today we speak life.   We speak wholeness.   We speak truth.   For Your Word is true.  You said in Your Word that You are our Healer.   You said that You are our Provider.   So right now we come in line with Your Word and thank You for we are the healed and we thank You for meeting every need in our lives.   Father You are faithful and we line our words up with Your Word right now in Jesus name … amen.”

Are You Trusting That God Is Working It All Together For Your Good?

When you are going through so much in your life and in your body, it is sometimes hard to see that it is all going to work together for your good.    But that is what God said.   He said our light afflictions are but for a moment and they worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.    We get caught up in the pain of what we are going through and fail to understand that it is what we are going through that is working for us.   God goes on in His Word to say that we look at the things we can see which are temporary, yet it is the unseen things that are eternal.

II Corinthians 4:17-18
King James Version
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We have to live our lives in faith.   Trusting and believing God for those things we cannot see.   We have to stop being moved and motivated by the here and now and understand that God’s plan is eternal.   His plan goes far beyond what we can see or even think.

“Father help us.   Help us to see beyond what we are going through.   Help us to know that You are at work in our situations.   Father as we keep our eyes on You, we ask that You bring forth the manifestation of Your glory in our situations.   Father we love You.  We trust You.  We believe You.   We believe that You are working it together for our good in Jesus name.  Amen”

Are You Taking A Stand On Your Righteous Choices or Giving Up When You Come Against Opposition?

How many times have you made choices and then changed your mind?   You started out confident about the decision you were making and then something happened to change your mind.   Things just didn’t work out the way you wanted them to or thought they would.    Why do you think that the enemy would support the decision you made and just leave you alone?    If he was to support your righteous decision, that means he would be supporting God.    It’s time to recognize where the attacks are coming from.    Do you not remember, the enemy asked God for permission to challenge Job.   Even though Job was being challenged, there was still a hedge of protection around him.   Know that even though you are being challenged, there is still a hedge of protection around you.   Don’t allow the challenges of life to cause you to lose your faith in God.

“Father thank You for your uncompromising, steadfast love.   Father You are faithful.   Right now we ask that You strengthen us to stand.   To stand for what is right at all times.   Strength to believe you no matter what is coming against our lives and no matter what doesn’t work out the way we want it to.   Father help us now.    Father Your Word says in James 4:7 that if we submit ourselves to you and resist the devil, he will flee.   Father today we totally commit and submit to You and Your Word.   Thank You Father for the hedge of protection and thank You for the devil must flee right now in Jesus name … amen”
