Is it worth losing it all?
The Bible says count up the cost and we have to decide whether or not
our disobedience is worth losing it all.
We have to decide if we want the things of the world or the things of
God. We have to decide whether we will
stand strong or submit to the desires of our flesh. We have to make the choice. Sometimes the choice is between family and
friends. Sometimes it’s between work or
home. No matter what the choice is, the
decision has to be made as to whether you will follow your flesh or follow the
Word and Spirit of God.
Understand, you have to make the
decision to follow what is right or to pursue what is wrong. Before you follow what you know is wrong,
you need to begin to ask yourself if it is worth the risk of losing it
all. Whether it be family, friends,
job, or your relationship with God … we need to understand that every time we
pursue what we know is not of God, we are sacrificing the blessings that God
has given us. On the other hand, when
we sacrifice ourselves (our flesh), we position ourselves for greater
blessings. It’s time to walk in
obedience to the Word you know and to stop putting yourself into a place where
you risk losing it all.
