Are You Standing and Staying On The Word Of God? Do You Have Faith That Believes That God Will Heal You, Set You Free, and Deliver You?

Are you trusting, believing, and waiting on God to fulfill His Word in your life?   God has said that He is watching over His Word to perform it and He is watching to see if you are truly standing and staying in and on His Word.   Are you?

God said for us to cast our care on Him because He cares for us.   Have you done that?   Have you taken those things that are concerning to you and cast them on God or are you still carrying around the weight of worry?

God said to fear not.   Are you walking in fear or are you standing in faith?    You can’t do both at the same time.   So make up in your mind that you are going to stay in faith.   In order for you to do that, you have to cast down all doubt and fear.

God said to trust in Him and to lean not to our own understanding.   Are you doing that?  Are you trusting that He will do what He said He would do or are you worked up in your mind and putting your trust in what you think that you can do?

God said that He is the Lord God that heals us.   Do you believe that He is who He said He is and that He can do what He said He can do?   Do you have faith that He will heal you, set you free, and deliver you?

Remember what God has said and be still and know that He is God.   He is all-powerful and He is all-knowing.   He will honor His Word in your life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 27:13-14
King James Version (KJV)
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Are You Focusing On What You Want From God or What God Wants From You?

What is it that you want God to do for you?   Do you want Him to heal you?  Do you want Him to strengthen you?  Do you want Him to deliver you?   Whatever it is, God can do it.   Now the question is, what is it that you are doing for God?   Are you listening to Him?   Are you waiting on Him?   Are you obeying Him?

So often in life we concentrate on what we want God to do for us and we don’t focus on how we are living our lives for God.    We want our best life now but are we living our lives as best we can for God?   Take time to think about God.   Ask yourself what you can do for Him and know that He will take care of you.   Focus in on pleasing Him instead of focusing in on what He can do to please you.   The Bible says that God knows the things we have need of and He is faithful and just to provide us with those things.

Don’t misunderstand.  God said for us to come to Him and to ask of Him.   He wants us to seek Him and to trust Him for whatever it is that we need in life but He also wants us to honor Him and to obey Him.   So as we are seeking Him, let’s also obey Him and represent Him well.   We have to understand if we focus on what God wants He will take care of the things we need and want as long as they are in line with His will for our lives.

Are You Asking God Why Me or Do You Realize The Fact That God Is Using Your Life As His Light?

When we go through things in life, we tend to ask God why me?   As you are asking Him why are you going through, remember, why He chose you.   He chose you to be His example here in the earth.   As He shows others through your life His love, His grace, and His deliverance, others come to know what He can and will do for His children.

Life sometimes gets hard but just because life gets hard, it doesn’t lessen who God is and it doesn’t keep Him from doing what He said that He would do.   God is your source and He is your resource and as you trust and obey Him, He will honor His Word in your life.

When you think about why God chose you.   Understand, He chose you to be His light in a dark and dying world.   Sometimes in the midst of darkness, nothing can be seen until a light is turned on.  God is using your life as His light.   God hand picked you to be His light so that people can see and understand that He is real.

So don’t get discouraged when you go through situations in life.  Just know, God is bringing you through and because of your faith and trust in Him, others are now able to see.   Not only are they seeing that God is real, they are being strengthened in their faith and they are learning to trust and believe God too.   Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Isaiah 42:4-6
King James Version (KJV)
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
5 Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Where Is Your Ambition Leading You? Are You Being Ambitious When It Comes To The Things Of God?

A lot of us are ambitious.   There are things we seek to do and to accomplish in life.   There are areas where we strive to be successful and we put our everything into making sure we achieve and accomplish the goals that have been set before us so that we can experience that success.   When you are ambitious, you have a determination, a hunger, and a zeal to do whatever it takes to get what it is you want.

The questions is, are you being ambitious when it comes to the things of God?   Do you have the zeal to get up in the morning and pray.   When you have zeal, you have energy and enthusiasm to pursue something.   Are you hungry for the Word of God?   Are you determined to pursue God with all that is within you?

We are quick to pursue careers and we have a determination when it comes to getting a new home or a new car but do we have the same fire and determination when it comes to learning more about our Heavenly Father and doing what He has called us to do?   If not, its time for a shift.   It’s time to shift our focus from the things we want to the Giver of all things.   It’s time to live determined for God.  Determined to walk in obedience.   Determined to pray fervently.   Determined to see His Word and His will accomplished in our lives.

Are You Surrendering All To God and Living Your Life Without Excuses?

Are you living your life without excuses?   An excuse is an attempt to justify or defend a fault or offense.   What is it that you are trying to justify in your life?   Are you trying to justify bad habits?   Are you trying to justify why you don’t serve God the way you could or should?   Are you trying to justify your words, your actions, or your deeds?   What is it that you are trying do defend that you know is not of God?

We have to get to a point where we live our lives without excuses.   Where we serve God whole-heartedly without worrying about what others think or say.   We have to know God and surrender our lives to God.    We have to stop allowing the things in our lives to hinder our progression in the things of God.   We have to have an attitude that says that we will live our lives without excuses to the point that we no longer try to defend or justify the things that we know we should not be doing.

It’s time to surrender all and to receive all that God has to offer.   It’s time to let go and to let God be in total control.   It’s time now to do and be all that God has called us to do and be.  It’s time to live out loud and without excuses for God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
1 Samuel 12:24
King James Version (KJV)

Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Are You Becoming Frustrated or Are You Standing and Staying In Faith?

Are you becoming frustrated because you are not seeing your expectation fulfilled?   We have to remember, God is not required to move or act the way we want Him to.   Just as we are not required to move and act the way our children want or expect us to.    We have to stop putting God in the box of our thoughts.  We tend to think that God should do things the way we think they should be done.    We have to stop limiting God based on our way of seeing things and understand that there are limits to God’s power or ability.   We have to understand that God can and will do more than we can think or imagine.   He is the Creator and He is our King.  We have to stand and stay in faith.

We have to understand that frustration is one of the biggest opposers of faith.   It goes against your faith.   It tries to uproot your faith by causing you to get upset or annoyed.   We often become frustrated because we are looking at “our” inability to do something instead of looking at God’s ability to get it done.

We have to learn how to keep our hearts, minds, and eyes fixed on God.   We have to make sure that our faith is rooted and grounded in His ability to do what needs to be done.   We have to know that God’s timing is perfect and when it takes longer to see the results of our faith, that doesn’t mean denial.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Habakkuk 2:3
King James Version (KJV)

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Have You Made Up In Your Mind That You Are Going To Trust God No Matter What Your Outward Circumstances Are Saying?

So today is a new day.  Yesterday is gone.   What are you going to do in this new day that God has given you?   Are you going to walk in faith and trust God or are you going to walk around worried and defeated in your mind today?   Understand, God is a good God.  He is a faithful God.   He is God alone.   So make up in your mind today that you are going to trust Him no matter what your outward circumstances are saying.

As you look back over time, you have to remember the times that God delivered you.   All the times when you didn’t know what you were going to do and God made a way.  The way may not have been made the way you wanted it to or the way you expected it to but God delivered you.

You have to remember that God is our Waymaker.   Remember, He is our Healer.   Remember, He is our Creator and our King.   He knows what we need and He knows how to get what we need to us.   Just trust Him!

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Isaiah 43:16-19
King James Version (KJV)
16 Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17 Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Have You Made Up Your Mind That You Are Going To Trust God Even When You Can’t See Him Moving? - August 19, 2018

Have you ever been at a place in life where you just didn’t know what to do next?   Where you didn’t know which way to go or how you were going to make it and then you saw God move and work out everything for your good?    You have to know that God is always with you.  You have to know that even though you can’t see Him physically, He is still there.

It’s time to keep believing.   Don’t allow whatever it is you are going through to stop you from trusting and believing in God.   A lot of times we try to put God on our time clock.   We want what we want when we want it.   But that’s not the way God operates.  God has already told us that there are times and seasons for everything.   He said that there is a purpose under the sun for everything.    He knows the time, the season, and purpose for everything in our lives.    We just have to trust Him.

Make up your mind that you are going to trust God today and every day.   Even when you can’t see God moving, confess to yourself that you still trust Him.   Build up your faith.   Never stop believing that God is at work in your life as you walk in obedience to His will and His Word.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Proverbs 3:5-6
King James Version (KJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Are You Using Your Words and Your Actions To Glorify God?

What about today?   What will you do today?   Will you glorify God with your outward actions and with all that is within You?   Will your words be words that glorify Him?   Will your actions be actions that glorify Him?   Will others see Him working through you?   Will they feel His love flowing from your life into theirs?

The choice is ours.   We have to choose how we are going to live this life that God has so graciously given us.    We have to choose whether or not we will use our words to build up and edify others or if we will use them to tear down others.    There are so many choices in life and we have to figure out what we are going to do and who we are going to glorify with our lives.    When we glorify something, we exalt it and we elevate it.    Therefore we must understand, we can glorify good or we can glorify what is evil.   Are people seeing how good your God is or are they seeing you following and doing what the world does?

So right now take the time a look at your life and consider your actions.  It’s easy to consider the actions of others because we see their actions with our eyes because they are set before us but to self-reflect, you have have to look within.   You have to consider what you are doing without your actions being set before your face.   You have to come to the realization that you are not perfect even when you strive to be and you have to be willing to change if necessary.     Make your life today and every day about God.

Have You Taken Time To Stop, Be Still, Rest, and Breathe In God’s Presence?

Have you stopped to thank God today?  To thank Him for His goodness, His grace, His love, and His mercy towards you?   Have you stopped to thank Him for making a way for you when you didn’t know how the way was going to be made?   Have you stopped to hear His voice so that you will know which way to go?   Sometimes we have to just be still and know that God is God.   We have to know that He is with us and that He is watching over us.   We have to know that He does is good and He is working everything together in our lives for our good.

Just take a moment to stop and be still.   Take a moment to rest in God’s presence.  Take a moment to breathe in His breadth of life.   Take a moment to speak life to your life and take moment to thank God for your life.   Don’t be so busy that you don’t have time to thank God for all that He has done and is doing in your life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 46:10
King James Version (KJV)
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
King James Version (KJV)

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
