Have You Settled It In Your Heart and Mind That You Are Going To Trust and Believe God?

Do you trust God?    Do you trust and believe that God is who He says He is and that He will do what He said He would do?   You have to trust God first.   You won’t believe who you do not trust.    Have you ever had people in your life that you just didn’t trust?   Did you believe them when they told you things or did you question in your heart what they were saying?

You shouldn’t have questions when it comes to God.   God is not a man and He does not lie.   What He says, He means.   His Word is “the truth”.   Situations will occur in your life but you have to settle it within yourself that God has the final word.   We have to remember, God is all-knowing and He is all-powerful.   So that means no matter what your situation looks like, God is well able to work everything out for your good.

So today make up your mind that you trust God.   Settle it in your heart that you believe God.    Don’t give up or quit on God.   Don’t allow life or the situations in your life cause you to have faith failure.   Stay strong in the Lord and the power of His might.

Psalms 9:10

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Are You Trusting God?

Are you trusting God?   Are you trusting Him to heal you?   Are you trusting Him to deliver you?   Are you trusting Him to make a way where there appears to be no way?   Are you trusting Him to meet your needs?   Are you trusting Him to give you peace in the midst of every storm that is coming up against your life?    You have to trust God!

There are so many things that happen to us in life.   Some things we are in control of.   Those are the things that happen because of a choice we make but then there are those things that happen that are beyond our control.   Whether things are happening that we caused or whether things are happening that we had no control over, we still have to have our trust in God.

We have to remember that God is a Waymaker.   He is our Healer.   He is our Deliverer.   He is our source and He is our supply.   We have to know that He is not limited in power and He is well able to take care of us.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 46:1
King James Version (KJV)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Are You Still Trying To Maintain Control or Are You Letting God Have Complete Control?

Are you letting God be God in your life?   So often in life we want to have control and we don’t have control, we feel as though our life is going out of control.    Instead of always wanting control, it’s time to let God have control.   It’s time to surrender all.   It’s time to give it all to God.   It’s time for us to let God lead us, guide us, and direct us.   It’s time to live a life of surrender instead of of a life of control.

It’s not easy to surrender and to let go.   The one thing you must have in order to truly surrender is trust.   You must trust God.   You must trust Him with your whole heart.   Truly trusting God goes deeper than just saying it with your mouth.   It requires that you be steadfast and immovable.    Understand, there is always going to be someone or something that comes against what you say you believe and you have to make up in your mind that you are not going to be moved.

Remember, God is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.   He is Jehovah Shalom, our Peace.   He is a Waymaker when there seems to be no way to go.   He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.   He El Shaddai, our all sufficient God.   You have to know who He is before you can trust in what He said He will do.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me

Are You Swaying or Standing On What You Say You Believe? Be The Person That Stands, Trusts, Believes, and Waits On What God Has Said To Come To Pass.

What is it that you believe?   Do you believe that God is not a man and that He does not lie?   Do you believe that He will watch over you, keep you, shield you, and protect you?   Do you believe He knows your needs and that He will supply everything that you have need of?   Do you believe that His Word is true?   Do you believe that greater is He that is in You than anything coming against you in this world?   Do you believe that God is your Healer?   Do you believe that He can give you peace in the midst of the storm?   UNDERSTAND, what you believe will determine whether you stand and stay in faith.

Today is a new day and with every new day, you face the possibility of challenges in your life.   When you come up against challenges, you have to have a sure foundation of faith.   You have to know that you know that God is real.   You have to be consistent and persistent when it comes to trusting and believing in what God has already said to be true.

So don’t be a person that sways.   Don’t be a person that gives up.   Don’t be a person who goes with the flow of life.   When things are coming up against your life, be the person that stands still, trusts, believes, and waits on God to honor His Word.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Proverbs 3:5-10
King James Version (KJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Are You Allowing The Toxins Of The World To Cause Your Life To Be Uneasy? What Are You Allowing To Enter Your Eye Gates and Ear Gates? What Are You Opening The Door Of Your Heart To?

When you awake in the morning, what are you presenting to your heart, mind, and flesh first.   Are you waking up and turning on the news or are You waking up giving God thanks, reading His Word, and praying to Him first.

We have to start awaking our Spirits to and with the Word of God.   We have to remember that we have gates that lead to our soul.   We have our eye gates, ear gates, and even fleshly gates that are activated by what we touch and feel.   So we need to be aware of the fact that it matters what we watch and what we listen to.   It matters what we allow our hands to touch.   It matters what we allow to enter into the door of our hearts.   We can’t go about life thinking it’s okay to see, listen, and do just anything because it is not.

So when you wake up in the morning, seek God first.   Don’t leave room for the enemy to enter into your thoughts.  Cast down everything that is exalting itself against the knowledge of God.   Don’t turn on the news before you pray.  Pray first and if there is something on the news that needs to be prayed about, pray again.   The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing.   If you are listening to music, listen to music that sings about God’s goodness, grace, love, and mercy.  Don’t fill your Spirit with lyrics that lead to lust, killing, and an unhealthy lifestyle.

We have to make sure that we are putting God first in all that we do.    So start today by detoxifying your life.   You have to abstain from those things that are toxic to you and the life and lifestyle that God wants you to have.    When something is toxic, it brings about disease in your body.   Don’t allow the toxins of the world to cause your life to have “dis - ease”.   God wants you to live “at - ease” in Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Proverbs 4:23
King James Version (KJV)

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

God Allows Us The Opportunity To Make Mid-Course Corrections In Our Lives ... Are Your Hearkening To The Voice Of His Word and Doing What He Says?

Are you hearkening to the Word of God?   God’s Word speaks, we just have to listen to what He is saying through His Word with the intent to obey.   To listen is one thing but to listen and obey is another.   We have to learn how to listen and how to obey.   A child can hear what you are saying and continue to do what it is that you are telling him or her not to do or they can hear what you are saying and make the necessary corrections to do what you are telling them to do.    What are you doing when God gives you direction?   Are you making the necessary mid-course corrections and walking in obedience or are choosing to continue to obey your flesh and what it is telling and desiring for you to do?

Life is not easy and life is filled with choices.   We choose each day what we will and will not do.   We choose to obey or we choose to disobey.   Sin doesn’t just happen.   We choose to walk in and live in sin.    The question is, what will we do with the knowledge that God gives.    Will we choose to walk in obedience or will we choose to disobey what God has told us and is telling us to do?

Wanting God to shield you, protect you, and provide for you is one thing but walking in a way that is pleasing to Him will cause Him to want to shield you, protect you, and provide for you.   God said in His Word that if we are willing and obedient, we SHALL eat the good of the land.

So make sure you are listening to what God is telling you to do with the intention of obeying Him.    Seek His will through His Word and seek to do what He has already told you to do.   None of us are perfect in what we do but we have to believe God and trust that God will do what He said if we walk the way He tells us to walk.   Remember, God is not a man and He does not lie.   God will honor His promises in your life if you honor Him with your life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Luke 6:46 - And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Romans 6:16 - Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Are You Learning From What You Go Through or Are You Living In The Pain Of What You Go Through?

What is leading you?   Are you being led by your hurt and your pain?   Are your actions today based on what you experienced yesterday?   Are the choices you are making based on what has been done to you or what you need God to do for you?    Understand, we can live in the pain of our past or we can step out of that pain and live in the promises of God.

In life we go through many things and we can choose to live in what we go through or we can choose to learn from what we go through.   Learning is a part of life.   The quickest way to learn something is by experience.   Our personal experiences are life’s lessons.   A lesson is meant to teach you what to do and what not to do.    If you learn from a personal experience that  when a stove is on it is hot and it can burn you, you know not to touch that stove when it is hot again.    Understand, even though you have experienced touching a hot stove, you still have to choose the next time not to touch it.

That is how life is.   We learn but we still must choose to act on what we learn.    When things entice us in life, we must still to choose to override our flesh in order to stay in the will of God.   How often is it that we go through things in our lives and make bad choices and know the result of those choices and yet we choose to do the same thing over and over again?  It’s time to be led by God.  It’s time to choose right.   It’s time to choose righteously.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Proverbs 9:9
“Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.”

God Is Calling You, Will You Answer? Are You Waiting On God or Is He Waiting On You?

What are you waiting for?  Are you waiting for God to do something for you before you decide to serve Him or are you willing to serve while you are waiting?   God has called you out of darkness, now the question is, will you answer His call?   Will you search His Word and listen for HIs still small voice?   Will you honor Him and obey Him or will you still seek to please your flesh.

Just as God is calling you, the lusts of the world are also calling.   Which call will you answer?   Which voice will you adhere to?   Understand, the voice of the world is very subtle and it brings with it many enticements that are meant to lure you or draw you away from the purpose that God intended for your life.   God wants you to be a light.   He wants you to be a vessel through which His love and resources can flow.   He wants you to be a voice that tells of His goodness, grace, love, and mercy.   He wants you to acknowledge Him in all your ways and He wants you to be steadfast and unmovable despite the circumstances that come with life.

You have to know that God has prepared you, empowered you, and positioned you to fulfill His plan for your life here on earth.   Will you do it?   Will you move forward with Him and for Him or will you let people, places, and things draw you away.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Romans 8:30
King James Version (KJV)

Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
