Are You Stepping Back, Breathing, and Seeking God's Face When Things Get Hard?

What do you do when it's hard?  Do you give up and quit?   Do you accept failure or continue to believe that you can and will be able to accomplish the task that has been set before you.   Understand, God did not create you to fail.   In fact, His Word says that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.  So don't accept anything less than His plan for your life.   Don't give in to failure just because it's hard.   Instead, look at the hard things in life as an opportunity for you to have a testimony because you KNOW that God will bring you through.

If there are things in your life that are hard.  Step back, breathe, seek God's face, and expect God's wisdom, anointing, and favor to come into your situation so that you will be able to accomplish whatever task that is set before you.

Psalm 37:7

 King James Version (KJV)

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Have You Developed An Urgency For God?

What if life wasn't so hard?   What would you be doing right now?   Would you understand the importance of calling on God?   Would you truly realize your need for Him?    If there were no issues in your life and if you were never reminded of your need to put your trust in Him, would you?

The word "urgency" means a pressing necessity.   Sometimes it is the situations in our lives that help us to develop an "urgency" for God.   Our situations help us understand that our relationship with God is a "pressing necessity".    When something is a necessity, it is not dispensable and when something is dispensable, it is easily replaced.    We can't replace God.   He is God alone.    Our fulfillment can't come from people, places, or things.   It has to come from God.   People, places, and things change over the process of time but our God, CHANGES NOT.

I'm not saying that life is supposed to be or has to be hard, but let those rough spots in life remind you that God is with You and He will never leave nor forsake You.   Let them remind you that you have a Savior.   Let them remind You that God has promised that "HE" will work everything in your life together for your good.

Are You Living In The Newness Of This New Day That God Has Given You or In The Pain of Your Past?

Today is a new day.   Everything about yesterday is in your past.   Now it is up to you as to whether you are going to live out today in the pain of yesterday or whether you are going to let go and move forward in the newness God has given you.

God said that His mercy is renewed everyday.   So every day He has given us is a fresh start.    The word fresh means recently created.   It means not previously owned or used.   So this new day you have been given was created just for you by God.   He wants us to know that every day is a new opportunity to begin again in Him.

Will you do it?  Will you begin again in Him right now?

Remembering God Is Always There To Assist In Times Of Need

When someone assists you, they give you help and support.    An assist in basketball means that a teammate passes the ball to another and helps them in scoring the goal.   In other words, they are assisting them in making the basket.    Understand, you are not walking this walk of life alone.  God is here and He is ready, willing, and able to assist you in reaching every goal that is set before you.   When you try to go through life on your own, without any assistance from God, you get tired, weary, and weak.    The Bible says that He is your help in times of need.    It also says in Isaiah 41:10 that we are not to fear or be dismayed because God will strengthen us, help us, and uphold us.

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

You have to remember that God is always there to help.   He never leaves us to walk through life alone.    He is an ever ready help in our times of need.    All He wants is for us to call on Him, to call out to Him, and to wait on Him.    It’s time to stop looking to people, places, and things to help when we are need of deliverance.   We have to look to God because He is the source and the supplier of life.

What Do You Do When You Just Don't Know What To Do?

What do you do when you faith is tried?   When the sickness doesn’t seem to be leaving your body?   When the money you need doesn’t seem to be coming in?   When the people you thought were with you, are no longer around?   When you are tired?   When you just don’t know what to do … WHAT DO YOU DO?

Do you stand in faith or walk in fear?   Do trust God beyond what you can see?   Do you worship God and wait on God?   Do you believe God will “still” honor His Word in your life?   Or do you quit, give up, and give in?   WHAT DO YOU DO?

The Bible says in Hebrews that faith “is” the “substance” of the things you hope for and the “evidence” of the things you cannot see.    So if you have faith, you have substance and you have evidence.   However, if you are walking in fear and doubt, you lack substance and you lack evidence.   Hebrews 11 goes on to say that it was “through” faith that the worlds were framed by the “word” of God so that the things which are seen were NOT made of things which do appear.   We keep looking at what we can see with our eyes and God has already shown us that faith works based on His Word and not the things we can see in the natural.    So as you consider what to do … make sure you are trusting and speaking God’s Word as you walk in faith.    It is your faith and God’s Word that will bring those things that do not exist in your life into existence.

Acknowledging The Fact That Our Faith, Hope, and Trust Are In God's Word So That Others Can Also Trust Him and Gain Strength

Have there been times in your life when someone comes up to you and ask you how you are doing and your response to their question has been, I’m holding on or I’m hanging in there.    Question is, what are you holding on to and what are you hanging on?    Are you holding on to God’s hand and are you hanging on to His Word?   Are you trusting Him in every aspect of your life?   Is He the source of your hope?

There are times when we try to do it all on our own.   We think about what we can do to get things done in our lives.   We think about how we can accomplish the task or get the money and we fail to incorporate the power and the provision of God.    We fail to go to Him and to ask Him for help during our times of trouble.   Even when we ask for help, are we waiting for Him to provide the things we have asked Him for.

Instead of saying I’m holding on or I’m hanging in there, we have to begin to confess the fact that we are trusting and believing God to move in our lives.    We need to acknowledge the fact that our faith, hope, and trust are in God’s Word.    We have to understand that by doing so, it not only acknowledges who our hope is in, it also encourages others to also place their faith, hope, and trust also in God.

Understanding That Our Words Carry Within Them Supernatural Power

Words…
Words are simple to say and yet they carry within them supernatural power.  Supernatural power is a power that goes beyond our understanding.    Words are easy to say but they can never be taken back.   Once they are released from your mouth, they are “set” in the atmosphere.   When something is set, it is established as a record.   When words are spoken to people, they record them in their hearts and their minds.     We have to be conscious of what we say and how we say it.

When we take the time to write a letter or to write a note on a piece of paper, we take the time to think about what we want to say.   We have to start using the same process of thinking before we speak.   We have to stop and make sure we are conveying the right message through our spoken words.   We have to realize that the message is still be written down on the hearts of those to whom we are speaking.
