If God said that He will never leave you nor forsake you .... why are you feeling alone? What is it that is blocking you from seeing that God is there? Are you allowing the circumstance to determine your perception? Perception means your ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through your senses. We have to understand that our perception of God can only be seen through our faith in God. We are so used to living our lives through our physical senses that we forget that we have a spiritual sense called faith. It is through our faith that we see and realize that God is real. That He is all powerful and all knowing. That is with us. We have to believe through faith. We have to trust through faith. The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. We need to understand that without faith it is impossible to even believe in God. Because we MUST believe that He is. That He exists. That He knows. That He loves.
Start looking at life through the eyes of faith. Take the word of God and apply faith to it. See that God is real and that He means what He says. Believe Him. Believe in Him. Trust Him and know that He is real. Amen.
Will you still trust Him? Will you still trust Him i f things don't work out the way you expect? Will you still trust Him if you don't get it today? Will you still trust Him no matter what is going on in your life. God wants us to trust Him. He wants us to believe that His word is true. He wants us to understand that He has a purpose and even more so, He has a plan. Will you stand in the midst of the fire and the pain and believe that no matter what .... He is still God.
So often we give up and quit because it just doesn't seem to be working out. Deliverance seems so far away. But we have to remember that there is a greater testimony beyond the test. The word beyond means to the further side of. If something is further it is at or to a more advanced point. God is advancing you. He is taking you to a different place.
There are two keys to getting you to where God is taking you. They are faith and trust. God wants you to believe without doubting that He knows what is best for you and He wants you to trust Him to do it. Use your keys today. Get to where God is trying to take you. Don't be hindered and locked in by doubt and unbelief. Trust that God is God enough to do what He has promised in your life.
What are you doing and what are you expecting? Are the things that you are doing lining up with what you are expecting God to do in your life? Understand that your actions will produce a reaction. What reactions are your desiring? Are you wanting God to bless your life? If so .... is your life being lived in a way in which He is able to pour out His blessing upon it?
We have to begin to understand that our actions and our reactions are producers. They produce results whether favorable or unfavorable. If we live our lives in obedience to God's word, we are preparing the atmosphere around us to be conducive to God's blessings. However, if we live in a way that goes against His word and His will .... we are building obstacles and distractions that cause blockages in our blessings. Every time we pick up something we shouldn't or get distracted by something we shouldn't ..... it hinders the flow of God in our lives and prolongs the blessings that God has in store for us.
We have to get to a place where we live conducive to our expectancy and desire for God. If we are expecting God to move for us .... we should be living for Him. If we desire God's blessings in our lives .... we need to live in a way in which God can fulfill that desire.
God so desires to reward your expectancy in Him .... but you have to desire to live in a way in which He can reward your life with His blessings. Amen.....
What does it mean to you? What does this life you live mean to you? Have you grasped the meaning of what and why God did what He did? Do you realize it was all for you so that you could live for Him? Or are you running with life on your own? Thinking that it's all about you?
Understand today that God did what He did for you. But the reason that He did it was to show you His love so that you could love Him and trust Him and live for Him. The whole meaning to life is God. Without Him there is no meaning. There is no purpose. People get lost looking for satisfaction in things aside from God. They get lost trying to find there way by themselves. The world is a wilderness. If you don't have light (God's light) to show you the path and the direction .... it inevitable that you will get lost. If your focus is not on the ordained direction that God has given you .... you will tend to stray. To stray means to move without a specific purpose or by mistake. That is what we do when we move without God.
Make it your determined purpose to define your life through the eyes of God. Through the love of God. Through the plan of God. God has laid out and specified His desired purpose for our lives. If we follow His plan .... our lives will have meaning. We won't get lost and it will keep us from going astray.
Father thank you. Thank you for your power, your goodness, and your grace. Thank you for your love and your mercy. God you are so good. Father we lift up our soldiers before you today. We thank you for their service. We thank you for their commitment. We thank you for their boldness to go and fight on our behalf. Father we ask that you watch over them. That you keep them. That you protect them and that you fight for them. Father today we remember all that fought on our behalf. Father they fought for the freedoms we now enjoy. Father thank you for their lives. Thank you for ordaining them to carry out the duty and call of helping others. We lift up their families before you. We ask that you watch over them and that you provide for them. Father we pray that you comfort them.
Father thank you for placing people in positions to help us to walk in the freedoms we now enjoy. Thank you Daddy. We love you and we exalt you. We thank you as we remember the gifts you set in place through the lives of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives so that we could live and enjoy the freedoms that you have ordained for our lives.
God created you. When He created you .... He created you for dignity and divinity. Dignity says that you are worthy of honor and respect. Divinity says that you are part of a royal priesthood. It is the state of being from and like God. Understand today that that is how God made you. He made you to be respected. How is it that we move and position ourselves into places of disrespect? Places where we don't respect ourselves and others don't respect us. Until we know who we are .... we can never understand how God created us to be.
God also created us for divinity. He is divine. His power and His presence rules and reigns. How is that we put ourselves down on a level of being less than. We don't see His power working in and through us ..... so we lessen our own value. Understand the ordaining of God. The positioning of God. The power of God. You are His creation and everything that He does is divine. That's who you are.
What next? What do you do when you don't know what to do? Do you step out on your own or do you wait and trust God? When it's hard and you are tired.....what do you do? When it doesn't look like it's going to work out.....what do you do? All you can do .... is trust God. Trust the one who knows the beginning to the end. Trust that His outcome is a life outcome. Whereas, the outcome you desire is for that particular situation. Trust God to do it. Trust Him to be who He said He would be. Trust Him to help you and to provide for you. Trust Him to heal you and deliver you.
The hardest thing about trusting is letting go. Letting go of it and putting it totally in His hands. Because we cannot see God and we can see the situation, we tend to want to work with what we can see. We have to get to a place where we know God's got it. Where He is totally in control. We have to ask Him to help us to let Him be totally in control.
What next? What do you say next? What do you do next? If you are at that point all you can do is wait on God. All you can say is I trust you Lord. God said He is not a man that He should lie. Neither is He a man that He should repent. What He said .... He will do. Now all He is asking is that you wait on Him. That you trust Him. He doesn't want you to look at how things appear to Him. Appearance is subject to change. The one thing that changes not is Him. So instead of focusing on the appearance of your situation .... keep your eyes stayed on Him. Keep your heart stayed on Him. Keep your mind fixed on Him. Let the one stationary thing in your life be God and His love for you. His power in you and His presence around you.
So if you are at a crossroads in life. A place where you are unsure and don't know which way to go or which way to turn. Just wait on Him. Wait to hear His voice and to get His direction. His way always lines up with His word.
God said that He would never leave you nor forsake you. He said for you to put your trust in Him.. He said that He is an ever ready help in a time of need. Stand still and know that He is God. Amen.
Are you standing still and still believing? So often we get tired. We stop .... we quit .... we give up. Don't give up on God. God said that He will never leave you nor forsake you. He said that He would not leave your seed begging for bread. He said that He is not a man that He should lie. The question was raised in the Bible .... if God said it .... shall He not do it.
Understand the attributes of your Father. Understand the power of the King. He is all powerful and undeniable. He knows what you need and He is faithful to do it. Understand that God loves you. Because He loves you .... He will not abandon you. You are adopted. He has not left you as orphans. He is your Father. Your provision is in Him.
So today .... trust and believe. Remind God of His word to you. It's not that He doesn't remember it .... it is because He wants it to be reinforced in you. God will do what He said He would do. He has promised us He would. Amen.....
Is your faith undeniable? When something is undeniable, that means it can't be denied. Are you allowing diversions of the enemy to tell you that God is not real and that God won't do it? Understand that God is who He said He is. He will do what He said He would do. We get caught in time. Because we want it right now .... we give up or we quit. We stop believing or should I say start believing that it won't happen. Understand both roads are belief. Either you believe that it will happen or you believe that it won't. We have to get to a place of undeniable faith. Undeniable faith says God will take care of me. It "stands" and "rests" on the promises of God. It reminds God of what He said. It goes back and talks to God and tells God that He said that He would take care of you. He said that you are healed. He said that He knows the things that you have need of and that He is faithful and just to provide you with those things. It is not that God doesn't know .... but He said to remind Him of His word. He wants it instilled in you. He wants His word to undergird your belief.
As you walk out today ..... walk it out knowing that God is who He said He is. He will do what He said He would do. Know that no weapon formed against you can prosper .... because the Lord .... the Almighty God is on your side. Amen.
Why do you think it's over? Why do you think this is the end of the story? Understand that God has a plan and His plan is to prosper you and for you to be in good health. His plan doesn't stop here. His plan started at Calvary and the blood sacrifice is still moving and manifesting today. Stop trying to predetermine your outcome. Your outcome is in Him. Your outcome is based on His word, His power, and His presence. You just get to partake of the outcome that He has already prepared for you.
When you look around and see what you see .... make sure you see God in the midst of it. Make sure you understand that He is all powerful and He is all knowing. Make sure you realize that you have been brought with a price and that price was the blood of Jesus.
So don't think it's over. Don't think that you have lived out the entire story of your life to completion. Understand the best is yet to come. Amen.
Do you really understand what has been done for you? The sacrifice that has been made for you? The blood that was shed for you? The value that has been placed on you?
So often we live out life thinking less of ourselves. Downing our own selves and not realizing that we are unique creation of our Father, our Daddy ..... our King. No we are not to be high minded ... nor should we be prideful. However, we are to know who we are in Him. We are to be confident in who we are IN HIM. Our lives are to be a resemblance of who He is. A reflection of His love. A personification of our Father, our God, and our King.
So don't think less of yourself. Don't see yourself as less than what God has created you to be. Don't allow the enemy to lessen your value. The highest price was paid for your redemption. The greatest sacrifice that has ever been made was made just for you. Be confident in who you are. Stop speaking words of doubt over your own life. Stop confessing that you are less than. Know who you are and walk in the reality of what God has said about you. YOU are a child of the King. YOU are a vessel of love and a product of redemption. YOU are unique and YOU are divine. There is nothing that anyone can say about you that can lessen the investment that God has already made for your life.
Are you willing to share it all with God? Are you willing to share your victories and your defeats? Are you willing to the times you overcome as well as the times you fail? For some reason we only let God in when we are going through. It is at that time when we ask Him in and ask Him for help. Let's step beyond that. Let get to a place where we invite God into everything that concerns our lives. Let Him share the good and the bad. If you let Him share the good and the bad .... there will be no doubt in your mind about whether or not He is there. You will know without any doubt that He will never leave you nor forsake you. You will know without any doubt that He is smiling with you and carrying you when things don't seem to be going right.
Allow God's presence to consume you. His power to overtake you and His love to flow to you and through you. Amen.....
To be classified means to be categorized. Understand that God has defined you. He has classified you according to His standards and His standard is the based on the blood of Jesus. When God sees you .... He sees the blood. When God hears you .... He hears the blood. You are not classified based on your own standards or the standards of man. You are classified solely and totally on the blood of Jesus. Your category and classification is "redeemed righteous". Understand what it means to be redeemed. Understand what it means to be deemed righteous. Understand that it is not based on your today or your yesterday. It is totally and solely based on the sacrifice of Christ.
So today walk in what God has classified you to be. Walk in the knowledge and the power of the Father. Walk faithful. Walk holy. Walk true. Don't allow others to define you. Don't accept the classification of those who know not your father. Understand that you have been redeemed. The voice of the blood of Jesus cries out on your behalf. The power of the blood is working in you and for you. You have been consecrated and set apart for the Master's use. A vessel to be used for His glory. That is who you are. Anything that comes against the knowledge of who God says you are .... don't accept.
Joel 3:14 reads, "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision". Decisions are something we make on an every day basis. We decide whether we will go to work in the morning or whether we will stay home. We must realize the power behind a God driven decision. When God tells us what to do and we follow .... there is more power behind that than when we decide on our own what we want to do.
Know that God will not lead you down a road without providing you with what you need to travel it. In Psalms 37:25, David says " I have been young and I have been old, but I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed left begging for bread". When you make a God driven decision there is peace. We all have decisions we need to make but the question is are we allowing the Creator of the universe to help us make those decisions or are we making them on our own? Realize the power and force behind a God driven decision!
Are you hoarding the world? To hoard means to accumulate, hide, and store away things and guard them carefully ..... So my questions is .... are you storing up your hurts, your pains, your disappointments, and your plans instead of letting it all go? How much are you willing to give? How much are you willing to let go of? Are you willing to give it all to please God? Are you willing to let go of your plan for God? Or is it just about you? What you want and what you desire?
God gave it all. He gave His best for you? If you stop and look at everything that you are holding on to ...... is it even your best? The answer would have to be no. The best thing you have in your life is God's power that is working in you and for you? Beyond that .... we have to learn how to release and let go. We get so busy holding on to stuff that we even hold on to the hurt and pain of our past. We have to get to a place where release is automatic. Where we weigh everything in our lives against the word of God. Where we ask ourselves whether the thought or the action that we are trying to maintain is part of the plan and the purpose that God has for our lives.
Learn how to let go of the stuff and hold on to God's plan. Learn how to let go of the pain and hold on to God's love. Learn how to let go of the worry and hold on to God's hope. We've been holding on to the wrong things. It's time to let it all go and to only hold on to what is necessary. The one necessity we have in life is God. For it is through Him that we live, we breathe, and we have our being. Amen......
Are you letting the life and the light of God shine through you? What is it that people see when they encounter you? Do they see God? His goodness, His grace, His mercy working through you. Do they feel His love flowing through you? What is the impact that you are making on the lives around you?
Understand that your life is a reflection. It is always reflecting something. Is it reflecting your trial or your struggle? Or is it reflecting God's goodness and His grace? Your life is His light ... but the reflection is totally up to you. It is based on what you allow to dominate your life. God should always be the dominant factor. Dominant means the most important, powerful, and influential. That is what God should be. He should be the most important .... the most powerful .... and the most influential part of your life.
Now my question to you is .... what is the dominant factor operating in your life. Is it your situation or God's word?
Are you letting God be your guide? Are you letting Him dictate your story or are you trying to rewrite your story according to your plan for your life. We have to get to a place where we are letting God be in control. Where we are letting Him lead us, guide us, direct us, and protect us. So often we want one without the other. We want God to protect us ..... but we don't want Him to guide us. We have to understand His standard and His plan. We have to know His will and His purpose.
God is all seeing and God is all knowing. Everything that He is .... He is to us. Everything that He is .... He is in us. We have to get to a place where we realize His love and live according to His plan. The question for today is do you trust God enough? Do you trust Him enough to let Him lead you? Do you trust Him enough to let Him guide you? Do you trust Him enough to let His power and His light flow through you? How much do you trust God?
The next question would be .... do you love God enough? Do you love Him enough to let it all go in order to let Him lead you, guide you, and protect you?
Father thank you for a new day in you. A new day to experience your love, your mercy, your goodness, and your grace. A new day to walk out your plan and to fulfill your purpose. Thank you Lord. Thank you for doing in us what only you can do. We love you Lord.
Father today we ask that you go before us. That you make every crooked place straight Daddy. Father do what only you can do. Help us Father. Help us to do what you have called us to do. Help us to understand your purpose and your plan. Help us to live out your word for our lives. Daddy we need you.
Father we bind every spirit that is unlike your spirit that is trying to move, manifest, and operate in our lives. We bind it up and cast it down now. Father we thank you for you said whatsoever we bind on earth is bound in heaven. Father we loose your power in our lives. Father we call forth your presence to be operative in our lives. We call forth your power and your glory. For you said that whatsoever we loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Father we need you. Help us Daddy. Fill us with your love and reveal to us your power, your goodness, and your grace. In Jesus name we do pray. Amen.
What is it that you find yourself doing when trials come up against your life? Are you praying? Are you worshipping? Are you trusting? Are you believing? Or are you giving in and ready to quit? If you are giving in and ready to quit .... understand today that you are stronger than that. You are stronger than whatever it is that is trying to overtake you. You are stronger than the power that is trying to deny your faith. You are stronger than the sickness that is trying to interrupt God's plan for your life. You just have to believe that you are. You have to believe that the power that is working in you is stronger than the power that is coming against you.
Know today who you are. Know today whose you are. Know that God created you in His image and after His likeness. Know that each breadth that you take is God's breadth. Know that each step that you take is because God has ordained and blessed your body to function that way. When you realize that you are not your own .... then you are stronger than you would be in just self. When you are walking in self .... you can't see beyond what you can do on your own. But when you begin to realize that you don't belong to you ...... you understand that you are not in control of you.
Take a moment to think on God's goodness to you. God's plan for you. God's purpose in creating you. Take a moment to realize that He who created you is faithful to fulfill His promise to you. Take a moment to understand that you are not your own. Amen....
What is it that you are leaning on? What are you propped up against? Is it your thoughts....your ideas....your mindsets? Or is it God's thoughts towards you ...... His ideas ...... and His mindset? God wants to use you. He wants to do for you what you can't do for yourself. He wants to open up the windows of your life. The windows through which He can flow. The avenues that reflect who He is. He loves you and He has already given His best for you. Now you must recognize who you are "in Him". We look in a mirror and all we see is ourselves. Instead of seeing who He is in us. What He is doing in us. How He is reflecting through our lives and our situations.
The Bible tells us to trust in Him. The Bible tells us to lean on Him. The Bible tells us to believe in Him. The Bible tells us to wait on Him. Everything that we are too do is in conjunction with Him. He is not to be separate and apart. We are to step into who He is and let our lives only be recognizable in Him.
Who or what is God to you? Is He your Comforter? Is He your Friend? Is He your Father? Is He your King? Is He your Peace? Is He your Power? Is He your Joy? Is He your All and All?
You have to begin to understand that God is everything that you need. He is your peace in the midst of the storm. When storms come up against your life .... you have to begin to turn to the word. To turn to the word that says that He will give you peace. The word that says that He will never leave you nor forsake you. The word that says for you to put your trust in Him. Understand who He is. Understand what He provides in and to your life.
When you are sad and down .... understand that God has said that His joy is your strength. Everything that you need ..... God has already provided. Your life is not based on your current situation. The word "based" means .... the supporting part. Understand that the one thing that should be supporting your life is the Word of God.
So again I ask .... who or what is God to you? My prayer is that He is your all and all. He has already told you ..... "I am that I am". Meaning He is that thing that you need .... whenever you need it. The peace, the power, the joy, the understanding, the comfort ..... and whatever else ..... God Is!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been out of town all week and in some cases unable to get online with my computer. I do apologize that there was no post for yesterday. I will be out of town throughout the week and I am not sure what the online availability will be. Are you letting your light shine? Are you letting your voice be heard? Are you allowing the power o God to flow through you or are you hindering the flow of God? It is God's desire to use you .... what is your desire? Do you desire to be used of God. You are unique in all aspects. When God created you .... He created you for such a time as this. There are people that need to see your light shine. There are people who need to hear you speak. The question is ... are you willing?
Are you confused? To be confused means that you are unable to think clearly. It means that there is a lack of distinction. It means that there is a lack of cohesion. Understand that God wants your life to be cohesive. He wants you to know that everything in your life ....every trial, every test, as well as, every blessing are all designed to work together for your good.
So often we focus on what is going wrong in our lives. It's easy to do .... because it is what is having the most impact at that time. But God wants us to remain focused on Him. Understand that you can bump against something and your body can move .... but your eyes can still stay focused on what is ahead of you. That is God's desire. That your eyes stay on Him. That you remain focused on Him ... regardless of what is coming against your life.
Make it your determined purpose to keep your eyes and heart stayed on Him. Not to look at what is happening around you.... but to understand that He is in total control and He said if you keep your mind stayed on Him ... He will give you perfect peace. That is His word to you. Amen.....
What now? Where do you go from here? Do you move into a place of total trust or a place of doubt and disbelief? Either you believe God or you don't. It's time to believe Him totally. There are no "buts" in God. You know how you say .... God will do it "but" ..... All God is looking for is your response. What is your response when it doesn't work out your way? What is your response when sickness comes against your body? What is your response when you need money? What is your response when there is no one around? God wants your response to be based on your knowledge that He is not a man that He should lie. Base your response on the fact that the words says that God will take care of you. Base it on the fact that He said that He knows the things you have need of and that He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.
God's response to you is love. Can you make your response to Him your love? When you love someone .... they become your priority. Amen.....
Just because don't know ... doesn't mean that God doesn't know. He knows all things. Did He not say that He knows the things that you have need of and that He is faithful and just to provide you with those things. Did He not say for you to ask and believe so that you can receive. God knows. He knows what you need .... whenever you need. it. He is Jehovah..... He is Jireh. He is the all seeing and all knowing God.
You just have to believe. Believe that He will work it out for you. Believe that He has a plan for you. Believe that He knows and will do whatever you need done. Trust Him and know He is God. Trust Him and know that He is working all things together for your good. He is God and He will do what He says .... and He said that He would take care of you. Amen......
Who or what is it that you love the "most"? Do you love God more or should I say do you love God enough? Enough to stop doing anything that you know is against His will. Enough to stop saying anything that you know that doesn't line up with His word. Enough to trust Him. Enough to let go of the hurt and the pain. Understand that God's love is all consuming. It is all powerful. It is all knowing and all forgiving. Everything that He is .... He is in you. So the same love that He gives to us .... resides on the inside of us.
So now the question remains .... do you love Him enough to let go? He loved you to the point of sacrifice. So we know that love is sacrificial. He loved you to the point of forgiving you for all your sins. So we know that love is forgiving. He loved you to the point death. So we know that some things must die in us ... in order for us to love Him fully.
Make it a point to love God more .... more than anything or anyone.
What is experience saying to you? Is experience saying don't go that way or don't do that thing? Is it saying the outcome has already been revealed? Are you listening to the voice of experience or are you listening to the voice of God? Understand that the voice you should always hear is the voice of God. God overrides experience. What happened before does not determine what will happen today. What someone else did does not determined what the person you encounter today will do. Experience is a teacher and we should learn from our experiences. But understand that your "God Outcome" is not determined by what has happened in your past.
The Bible says in Isaiah 43:19 .... Behold I do a new thing and it shall spring forth .... shall you not know it? Understand the newness of God. Understand the new thing that He wants to do in your life. Understand His power that is at work in you. Your past does not control your future.
Do you have confident assurance today? To be confident and assured means to have certainty and security about something. God wants you to have confidence and assurance in Him. He wants you to trust Him. He wants you to believe Him. When He tells you something He wants you to know without doubt that His word is true. We need to begin to rest in I John 5:14-15 .....
I John 5:14-15 (Amplified) 14And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. 15And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.
We tend to say we believe Him .... but when it comes to trusting what He has said, we back up. We turn around and eventually turn away from His word. We try to work it out or figure it out on our own. We have to rest in the assurance. We have to stop after the request and enter into a place of rest. We have to take on the attitude that says Father I have asked you .... now I will wait for you to do the rest. That's what God wants. His desire is that you step into rest after the request. Step into peace after the request. Step into trust after the request.
Know this today .... God hears you. God knows what you are going through. God loves you. If He hears you .... if He knows .... if He loves you ...... There should be no doubt that He will take care of you.
It's time to wake up. We keep sleep walking. We walk around "stuff" with our eyes closed. We walk around the truth with our friends and our family with fear of offending someone. Yes .... we need to be aware of how we present God and His word to people ..... because we want Him to be presented in a way in which people can receive and understand who He is and what He desires to do in their lives. But we can not and should not avoid bringing Him into our conversations and into our day to day walk based on fear of what others will think. Remember the Jesus said in Mark 8:38 if we be ashamed of Him before man .... then He would be ashamed of us before the Father. How sad it would be to have your Mediator .... the one who was sent just for you .... to be ashamed to represent you.
Just think about it. A Mediator is a link between two parties. The two parties that Jesus represents are you and God. He was sent just for us. To provide us with a blood covering. When someone is ashamed ... they feel guilt, reluctance, or disgrace based on something that has been done. To disgrace means to lose your reputation or respect. Do you really want to be in a place where Jesus feels guilty for what you have done after all He has done for you? For your refusal to represent Him before those in your circle of influence.
It's time to count the cost and value the word inside of you and what has be done for you. Don't deny the one who died for you .... be sure you represent Him well. Your representation of Him will play a part in His final representation of you. Amen.....
