One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
What is your desire today? David said ... "One Thing Do I Desire". So often we have so many desires. But what if we could have "one desire" fulfilled in our life. Would your desire be to seek after God? To dwell in His house? Or would you be seeking an earthly house? Would you be seeking an earthly relationship? We have to learn how to live for life eternal and not just the here and now. We have to stop living our lives where we are just seeking His gifts and not fully and completely desiring a true relationship with Him.
Our minds are so conditioned to desire immediate satisfaction that we find it hard to wait for the fulfillment of God's plan. It's time to seek after God. Not just momentarily in our times of need. But at all times.
