Have you ever run into people who only come to you when they need something? How does it make you feel? How do you think God feels when wee fail to listen to Him? When we fail to do what He is telling us to do. Yet He is full of grace and full of mercy even in our inconsistencies.
Do you understand that inconsistent means unpredictable and unreliable. Is that how you want God to see you? Or do you want Him to see you as being consistent in your prayer life and consistent in your praise? Take note of how you feel when others only come to you in their time of need and make it a point to go to God more just because you want to praise Him rather than wanting something from Him.
Are you letting the unresolved problems cause you to walk in frustration? When you are frustrated, you are disappointed and dissatisfied. What has disappointed you? What have left you feeling dissatisfied? Are you disappointed because you didn't get the result of your faith yet or are you still holding on to God's Word and letting your faith stand?
It's time you stand fully and totally on faith. You have to keep your mind stayed on God and His promises. He has promised you that He will work everything together for your good. If He has made you this promise, it doesn't matter what has happened in the past or what the outcome seems to be right now, because God's promises are true. It all will work together for your good. You have to trust Him and stop getting frustrated by what is not happening right now.
Unforgettable moments. In life there are unforgettable moments and then there are moments that we would love to forget about. Those times that we messed up and didn't quite think everything through. Those moments that we feel as though we are paying for right now. But there is one thing you have to understand, God forgives you. His mercy is renewed every day so that He can forgive every mistake that we have made yesterday, today, and forever.
Take time to make new unforgettable moments with God. Take time to get to know Him. Have a worship experience with the King of kings and Lord of lords. Worship Him like never before so that your remembrance of your worship experience will be unforgettable.
Life can be full of difficulties. It can sometimes be very hard to handle the issues of life. We encounter so many things as we walk our road of destiny. Sometimes it is hurt, sometimes pain, sometimes sickness, and sometimes anxiety. It doesn't matter what the issue is, God can handle it.
We need to grow to the point of understanding that no matter what we are going through, God can handle it. We need to learn how to surrender it all to Him. It is as though we want to nurture our pain. The word nurture means to keep a feeling in the mind for a long time, allowing it to grow or deepen. We have to stop allowing the pain, hurt, and anxiety to grow and deepen in our lives. We need to learn how to release it all to God so that He can handle it.
Life lessons are not always easy. Do you remember correcting your child and your child having a hard time accepting the correction? The tears that fell? The distress that your child experienced from the mere fact that you corrected them?
If so, take a moment and understand God's correction. Sometimes it may hurt and you may want to cry. Sometimes you won't understand why you can't have what you want when you want it. But that doesn't negate God's love for you. Just as you as a parent can discern what is best for your child, God knows what is best for us. Learn how to trust the correction of the Father. Trust that He knows what you can and cannot handle at every given moment of your life.
God's power and your praise. God is not looking for you to do anything on your own. Without Him we are weak vessels. However, with Him we can do all things. We have to learn how to rest in His power. We have to understand that all things were created by Him ... for Him. The Bible says:
Colossians 1:16
- For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are
in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him,
and for him:
Once we understand that when He created us, He created everything we would ever need. Again, "all" things were created by Him ... the visible and the invisible. So the things we need in our lives that we can see and those things we cannot see yet.
We must learn how to rest in His promise and praise in His presence. Praise Him because You know that He has already created whatever you need in life.
Change is bound to happen. The word bound means certain to do something. In other words, it is certain in life that change will occur. The question is ... how are you handling change? As your children get older, how are you handling the empty nest? As changes occur in your workplace, how are you handling them? As your life and lifestyle changes, how is it affecting you? How are you handling change?
Although everything around you is changing, there is one thing in life that will never change and that is God. God says that He changes NOT. So what He has done in your past He can and will do if necessary. When transition seems to be occurring in every part of your life, stay connected to God. Although change is inevitable ... our God is unchangeable.
Don't be afraid. Don't allow the issues of life to cause you to walk in fear. God is with you. He has promised to take care of you. He said He will never leave you nor forsake you. He promised to deliver you. So don't be afraid. Just remember what God has said.
Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Nehemiah 4:14
And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not
dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help
thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Living in "the" moment. What is the moment? The moment that you are living in. Is it a past moment. Where something happened whether good or bad that you are still dwelling on. Or is it a present moment? What you are going through right now. How about a hope for the future moment? What moment are you living in.
It's time to live in God's moment. Moments of praise and worship, no matter what your past, current, or possible future situation is. It's time to put hope in your future with God and not what you think someone else can do for you. It's the God moments that count. It's the God moments that bring hope, peace, and deliverance. It's the God moments that will bring you through the deepest pain, help you overcome anxiety, and strengthen you to move forward. So when you say that you are living in the moment ... make sure it is a God moment.
It's time to hold your head up. It's time to move forward. It's time to let go of the fear. It's time to believe what God said. So often we pray for others and believe for others, but UNDERSTAND, God wants you to believe for yourself. He wants the outreach of your faith to begin with you. Are you so busy doing outreach that you forget that your outreach begins with you? The word outreach means to exceed or go beyond a limit. What limitations have you placed on your faith concerning your life and God moving for, in, and through you? Are you saying may He will do it or are you saying He will do it? We have to stop limiting our limitless God.
There have been times in our lives where we were asking God for something and it didn't come to pass the way that we had envisioned. But don't be mistaken ... that does not mean that God couldn't do it. It just means that His plan was different. Trust God's plan. Don't stop believing because the outcome of your situation was different than your expectation or desire. Let your faith reach out and grab hold of God's promises for your life.

Are you using your mouth to build up and edify or to tear other people down? When you gossip and backbite, you are using your mouth as a tool of destruction. A tool that digs up the lives of other people. A tool of demolition. When something is demolished, it is taken apart. Sometimes things are taken apart piece by piece and sometimes they are knocked down totally and are beyond repair.
We have to understand that our words can do one or the other. They can build people up and cause them to become strong in their faith or we can tear people down and cause them to lose faith and confidence in God and the world around them. Be God's vessel of love. Use your mouth to edify and to build up others. Use your mouth to speak words of love. Use your mouth as a tool for God.
Confidence means to have faith in somebody to do right: belief or trust in somebody or something,
or in the ability of somebody or something to act in a proper,
trustworthy, or reliable manner. Do you have faith in God? Do you believe that He is trustworthy and reliable?
It's time to stop doubting. We have to trust God all the way. We have to stop partially believing and partially trusting. When you partially trust God, it means that you are not walking in complete confidence. When something is incomplete, it lacks something. What is your faith lacking? What is causing you to doubt God's ability? He is God. He is Creator and King. He is your Healer, Provider, and Friend. He has given You His Word and His Word contains His promises. Let go of the doubt. See God for who He is and trust what He has said. For He said that He knows the plans that He has for YOU. Trust that, believe that, and wait on God to fulfill those plans in your life.
Every day is an opportunity. An opportunity for show and tell. To show and tell others how good our God is. There are so many things that God has done and will do in our lives. There are so many ways we can show someone the love of God. We can show them through the things we do and through things we say. Everything we do and everything we say are all divine opportunities to show someone that God is real.
Show and tell is defined as a public display or presentation. The Bible says that God is love. Are you "showing" others the love of God? Are your words expressions of the love of God? When we understand that every day is an opportunity to show someone and to tell someone about our God, when we do that, it is at that point we will be doing what we are called to do.
