Are You Rhyming Together Words and Saying You Are In Faith or Are You Trusting God and His Word?

Where is your faith?   Faith is not about just putting together some words that sound good.   It's about believing and trusting in the Word of God.   It's about believing what God has said and trusting that He will do what He said.

In today's society, many people want to stream together words that sound good.   Sometimes the words don't even make sense but the "rhyme" of the words they have put together makes a good sound   We have to move past the place of just "saying something" that sounds good.   We have to understand and know that words carry within them power and that power can change things for the good or the bad.   So we need to start operating in wisdom as we use our words.

God has given us His Word to help facilitate our words.   When you facilitate something, you make something easier and less difficult to do.   God doesn't want it to be hard for us to speak faith.  Therefore, He has given us His faith filled Word and told us to remind Him of what He has already said.   So we must begin by believing in what God has said and we have to speak those words back to Him.   We have to remind Him that He said He would never leave us nor forsake us.   We have to remind Him that He said that He is our shield and our buckler.   We have to remind Him that He said that He knows what we have need of and that He is faithful and just to provide us with those things.

It's not that God doesn't know.   It's that He wants to know that we know what He said and not only that, it reiterates the fact that our hope, faith, and trust are all in Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Proverbs 30:5

King James Version (KJV)

Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.
