What is your next? What will you do next? When situations occur that are not in line with the vision you see for your life or the vision God said for your life, what will you do in response? Will you still trust and believe what God has said? He said He would never leave you nor forsake you. He said He would make a way out of no way. He said He knows the things you have need of and He said that He is faithful and just to provide you with those things. So what will you do in response to the trials and the temptations that present themselves to you on this journey called life?
We have to know what to do next. We have to know how to respond. Our response needs to always be a response of faith. Our response needs to always be in line with God's Word. God has told us in His Word to be strong in Him and the power of His might. He has told us to be still and to know that He is God. He has said that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. He said that greater is He that is in us than anything in this world. If we remember what God has said, it should help us to respond to every situation coming against us in life.
So trust God when He says that He will raise up a standard when the enemy comes against us like a flood. Trust Him when He says that He is watching over His Word to perform it in our lives. Trust Him when He say that Jesus died so that we can have eternal life. Trust God and trust His Word. His Word still speaks and it is speaking to us every day. Trust not that God is working everything out in our lives for our good and His glory.
SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Jeremiah 17:7-8
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
