Asking God To Help Us To Make The Right Choices In Life

What seems simple can sometimes prove to be very hard.   Life is not always easy.   It's not always easy to make the "right" choice because making the right choice will always cost you something.    Making the right choice will put a demand on your flesh.    It will remain that you lean not to your own understanding and it will require you to acknowledge God in all your ways so that He can lead your path.      Making the right choice is not easy.

What do you do when you are faced with choices in life?   Do you make choices based on how easy it is?    Do you make choices based on what others want you to do or do you make choices based on what God said for you to do?    The outcome of everything that we have in life is based on a choice we make in life.

Remember, God's Word tells us to choose who and what we will serve.   We have to remember that our heart deviseth a way but we have to allow God and His Word to lead us in the way that we should go.     We have to follow those things that are true, right, and honest and bind up and cast down our desire for the things that are not.   We have to also remember that God is with us and He will strengthen us and help us to make the right choices if we ask Him to.    God didn't leave us alone to choose.   He said that He is with us always.   He said that He will help us  in any way that we need Him to.   Understand, any way means He will help us to make the right decision in life too.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.
