What Are You Using Your Words For?

Are you using the fruit of your lips to let others know that God loves them and are you surrendering your life so that God's love can slowly freely through you into and onto the lives of those around you?   

WHEN TEMPTED ... Are You Strong Enough To Just Say "No" or Do You Just Go With The Flow Of The Enemy?

Understand, the devil is going to tempt you.   There will be times when you find yourself in situations where the answer will be yes or no.   You will have the divine opportunity to say "yes" to God's will and His way and "no" to the devil's will and his way but thing is, YOU MUST CHOOSE.   The question is, what will you choose?   

 

Sometimes in life, we find ourselves making choices in an effort not to disappoint someone.  However, there will be times when someone will have to be disappointed.  Make sure you are not disappointing God by trying to appease the world.   The world and the world's ways are not of God.   We will be given opportunities to choose who and what we say "yes" to.   Understand, you can say "yes" to the devil but when you do that, you are saying "no" to God.    Your "yes" should always be to God because He placed you here to be His representative in the earth. 

 

"No" is not always going to be easy to say but you have to know when it is the right thing to say.   Remember, you are here living this life because of One (Jesus) and you are living it for the audience of One and that One is God.    He is the very air you breathe and your "yes" should always be to and for Him.

Are You Waiting On God To Make A Way Where You Just Can't Seem To Find Your Way? Are You Replacing Your Fear By Walking In Hope and Expectation Based On God and His Word?

 Waiting can be hard because along with waiting comes all types of emotions.   In the best case scenario, there should be hope while you wait but sometimes with waiting comes fear, discouragement, and anxiety.   It can be hard to wait on what you don't know.   So we have to learn how to flip the script.   We have to learn how to take fear out of our wait by replacing it with hope and expectation.    We do that by leaning and depending on the Word of God.    Even when you don't know what is about to happen, you have to believe what God said when He said that He would work all things together for our good.    You have to trust His Word that says that He knows the things we have need of and He is faithful and just to provide us with those things.    You have to remember what He said when He said that He knows the plans He has for us and He is faithful and just to bring HIS PLAN to pass. 

I know it is easy to say wait but while you are in the middle of the process of waiting, it can be very hard.    It is hard to stand still and to know that He is God when you are being pushed and pressed on every side.   It is hard to be strong when you feel like the situations that are happening in your life are constantly draining you.   It's hard but when it is hard, you have to remember, in your weakness, God is strong and while you are standing still, HE IS GOD AND YOUR STRENGTH IS IN HIM.  Remember, you are not on this journey alone.

Who or What Is Encouraging You In Life To Do What You Do? What Is Triggering Your Emotions and Setting Your Life In Motion?

 When you are encouraged,  you have more hope and you have more courage.   You are inspired with confidence.   What is inspiring you?   What is motivating you to do what you do? Are you being motivated by God and His Word?   Are the words that are coming into your ear gates causing you to be inspired and are the images that are coming into your eye gates causing you to see life God's way?   Are both the words and the images that you are coming to you inspiring you to move forward with God or are they leading you to a place where you are further away from God? 

 

Understand, what you see, what you feel (or what touches you), and what you hear, ALL MATTER.   What you see, feel, and hear ALL trigger emotions that cause you to be in motion.   The question is, where is that motion moving you?   Another question is what emotions are those things triggering within you? 

 

God has a plan for your life and His plan includes you representing Him well.   In essence, His plan for you life is for you to lead others in life closer to Him.   Are you fulfilling that plan?   Are you leading others closer to Him by allowing His light to shine bright through you in this dark world?   There are many emotions that come with life and I pray that you are encouraged and led by the emotions that lead you and others into a closer relationship with God.

Are You Listening To What People Are Saying About You or Are You Remembering What God Has Said About You?

 

Are You Walking In The Fear of Failure or Will You Serve God Unafraid?

 

What Happens When "They" Just Don't Understand? What Happens When The People In Your Life Give Up On You or Stop Communicating With You?

What happens when "they", the people around you, just don't understand?   What happens when "they" give up on you or when "they" stop communicating with you?   Do you get lost in your emotions and your walk with God because of what "they" say and what "they" do?   You have to remember, your walk with God, is based on your relationship with God and not what others say or do.   Not everybody is going to be there for you and not everybody is going to do what God does for you.   You have to always remember, that God said that "HE" will never leave you nor forsake you and it is in "HIM" that you put your belief, hope, and trust. 

 

We want to believe people and we want to trust people BUT we must always let our belief, hope, and trust in God override everything else.   If what people are saying and what people are doing is not in line with what God has said and what He has done, we need to make sure we stay on God's side and not mans.   God has to be our #1.   Our relationship with God is the most important and relevant relationship we have.   When something is relevant, it is meaningful and purposeful.   Our relationship with God is the MOST MEANINGFUL AND PURPOSEFUL relationship we have.   So never let your relationship with anyone else override or come between your bond and your relationship with God.

Are You Adding In Time For God On Your Itinerary of Life? Are You Making Pitstops Along The Way To Allow God To Repair, Refuel, Restore, and Replenish You As You Continue Your Journey With Him?

You have to decide what you are going to do during the "pitstops" of life.   A pitstop is a place where you stop.   In a car race, it is a place where the cars stop momentarily in order to be fixed and repaired.   When you are on a long road trip, a pitstop is a place where you stop to  rest and to eat along the way.  What about life?   What pitstops are you taking in life?   Are you stopping to rest in God?   Are you taking moments out of your day to snack on His Word?   Are you going into a place with God and allowing Him to fix the small cracks in your life before they get to the place where big repairs are needed.   What are you doing during the pitstops of life?   

 

Today I want to encourage you to take time with God.   You can't keep running full speed ahead without stopping to be refueled by God and His Word.   You have to stop and pray.  You have to make time on your itinerary of life to feast on God's Word.    You have to stop and give God praise.   There will even be times when you just need to be still and let God be God in your life and over your life.   When it comes to pitstops in life, you have to choose to stop so that God can do everything that needs to be done in you, for you, and through you.

Who or What Has Gotten You To The Point Where You Want To Quit and Give Up On God's Purpose and Plan For Your Life?

 Are you tired of struggling?   Are you tired of trying to figure out the who, what, when, and why's of your life?  Are you just plain tired?   Well, the Bible says be NOT weary in well doing.   It says the joy of the Lord is your strength.   It says in your weakness, God is strong.   It says, GREATER is He that is in you and you have to know THAT GOD AND HIS HOLY SPIRIT IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING THAT WILL EVER COME UP AGAINST YOU IN LIFE.   

 

Today I want to encourage you.   I want you to know that God is not done with you.   I want you to believe that He will make a way where there appears to be no way.   I want you to trust God's purpose and His plan.   Things may not look like or feel like you think they should look and feel but God is on your side.   He is working it all out.   He has not left you.   He doesn't want you to give up or quit.   He wants His glory and His light to be seen through you.   So hold on and trust God because He has made a way.

How Are You Looking At Life and The Situations In Your Life? What Is Clouding Your Vision To The Point That You Are Unable To See Through Eyes Of Faith?

Are you looking at your life through the clarity of God's Word?   Take a moment and think about what the word clarity means.   It means to be clear and to be transparent.   It means to see without obstruction.   Understand, situations come up in our lives to obstruct our view.   They come up to cloud our vision.   What is coming up in your life that has the sole purpose of clouding your view of God and His ability to do whatever needs to be done in your life?      

 

When you don't have a clear view of God and His ability to do what needs to be done, it is hard for you to walk in faith.   If the filter of your faith is clogged up with fear, doubt, hurt, pain, unforgiveness, and all the other stuff that comes with life, your vision get's impaired and it becomes hard to see God through eyes of faith.   We have to know how to remove the "cataracts of life" through fasting, prayer, praise, and worship.   We have to learn how to remove those things that come to block our vision and to cause us to limit our view of who God is and what God will do.

Praying That You Don’t Get Weary In Well Doing and For You To Release All The Things You Have Been Struggling With!

Take A Moment and Pray With Me! 

Are You Trying To Do Spiritual Warfare While Walking In Fear? Have You Forgotten That The Battle Belongs To God?

Are you fighting afraid?   Are you allowing the situation you are in right now to cause you to be worried and afraid?   Understand, God said that you are to FEAR NOT.   He said that He knows the things you have need of and He said He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.    So, you can't allow the situation you are finding yourself in to counteract your faith and cause you to walk in fear. 

 

Understand today, you have to believe that God is with you.   You have to know that God is watching over you.   You have to trust that God will provide for you and protect you.   YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE.   If you don't believe in what God can do and what God will do, you will never be able to truly operate in the spiritual authority that He has given you.    Remember, just as Moses was, you are God's representative in the earth and just as He gave Moses and Aaron the rod that they could use to show forth His power in the earth, God has placed His power in you and given you the authority to use your words to cause things to change and manifest in the earth.   

 

Don't let fear of the fight cause you to be afraid of the spiritual war you are facing.   Just remember, God said that He is the One who fights the battle.   You just have to believe that it is in Him and with Him that you win.

Taking A Moment To Just Thank God

 What are you needing God to do for you today?   Are you needing Him to make a way where there appears to be no way?   Are you needing Him to open up new doors where doors have been closed?   Are you needing Him to heal you or someone you love?   Are you needing Him to meet a need?  Are you needing Him to show you His glory?  

Understand, there is not a day that goes by that we don't need God.   We tend to say we need Him when it comes to the big things in our lives but what about the small things or at least those things we look at as small?   We still need God.   Sometimes we get so used to God doing a thing that we tend to not acknowledge or recognize that it is only because of God that we are able to do it.   Like breathing.   We have to remember that God is the breath of life.   It is only because of Him that we live, we breathe, and we have our being but because it is automatic and natural to us, we fail to thank Him for it.    So, let's take a moment to just thank God.   Let's thank Him for putting air in our lungs today.   Let's thank Him for allowing us to breathe in Him and to live out this day in and with Him.   Let's not get so caught up in what we think we need in this day.   Let's first just thank Him for allowing us to be a part of His plan for today. 

 

After you give God thanks today, choose to surrender.   Choose to tell God it's not your will but ask Him to let His will be done.   Ask Him to show up and to show out.   Ask Him to allow His glory to be reflected through your life today and every day.   Remember, you are His chosen vessel that He has placed on the earth to represent Him.   Make today about surrendering so that you can represent Him well.

Are Your Choices Creating A Pitfall For You and Those Around You to Fall Into or Are They Creating A Firm Foundation That Can Be Built Upon?

So often in life we ask God to help us.   We ask Him to heal us.   We ask Him to deliver us and He does just that.   He helps us, heals us, and delivers us and then we "choose" to go right back and do the same thing that caused us to need deliverance in the first place.    There are times when we have to understand, that the situations we find ourselves in that bring us into a place where we need deliverance is based on the choices we make.   God has given us the ability to choose.   Not only did He give us the ability to choose, He even told us what to choose but He leaves the decision up to us.    

 

God said in His Word, choose this day who you will serve in Joshua 24:15.   We get to choose whether we are going to serve the god's of our forefathers or whether we are going to serve Him, the One, the True, the Living God.   The question is raised in 1 Kings 18:21  to the people as to how long will they hesitate between two opinions and I raise that same question to you today.   If you haven't made your decision yet that you are going to be completely sold out for God, when will you make it?   When will you stop teeter-tottering between living for God and living life His way or living for the world and doing life the world's way?   When will God win in your decisions concerning your life?   When will He become the only choice you consider when it comes to decisions concerning your life?   

 

Understand, a war can only start when their are opposing forces?   In your heart and in your mind, you will experience opposing forces that even sometimes come through audible voices.   When there is opposition in your life, you have to choose what side you are on.   I pray today that you always choose God's side.   I pray that you stay on the side that leads you to eternal life and not death.   I pray that as you choose in every area of your life, that you choose righteously.   UNDERSTAND, your choices are never just about you.   Your choices lay the foundation for you and your descendants.   Don't let your choices be a pitfall (a pitfall is a trap) that your children, grandchildren, and others whom God has placed in your circle of influence have to crawl out of and overcome.   Let it be a firm foundation that they can stand on and build upon.

Are You Walking In The Fear Of Failure? Are You Trusting God To Help You To Succeed?

As you already know, GOD DOES NOT WANT YOU TO LIVE AFRAID.   He tells us over and over again in His Word to fear NOT.   He tells us to put our trust in Him.   Not only does He tell us that He is our help, He also tells us, to cast our cares upon Him.   So today and everyday, I pray that you be NOT afraid.   

 

When you stop to think about what it means to fail or to walk in failure, you see that it means to fall short.   It means insufficiency.   You have to know that you serve an all-sufficient God.   You have to know that there is no lack in God.   He is faithful and He wants you to always be full of faith.     

 

So, I have two questions for you today.   One, are you walking in the fear of failure.   Meaning are you scared of failing?  You have to understand that fear will come to grip you even before anything negative happens in your situation or your life occurs.   Fear begins with a thought.   It starts in the battlefield of your mind and that thought rages into a mental war and although that war is mental, the reflection of the torment that is going on in and through your mind is seen through your emotional and physical state.     The second question I want to ask you is, are you trusting God to help you to succeed.  The reason I am asking you are you trusting God is because your trust in God is rooted in your faith in God and it is only by faith that you can overcome your fear.    

 

Today my prayer for you is for you to trust in God and to lean not to your own understanding.   I am praying that you overcome the fear in your life and that you walk fully in faith in Jesus name, amen.

Don’t Be Afraid Of Beginning Again With God

 New Beginnings …

Well to say the least the Facebook page got locked again where I can’t sign in.   Frankly at this point, I am beginning to wonder whether or not God is shifting directions.   I am wondering if He is ready to do a new thing in me and through me or is it the devil trying to hinder what I am called to do for God.   Honestly, it is probably a little bit of both.   So today, I am coming back to my roots.    Coming back to the blog page where it all began.   The page where the name of the Facebook page (www.DailyMomentsWithGod.blogspot.com) came from.   You know what, IT’S OKAY TO BEGIN AGAIN WITH GOD.    

It is my prayer today that as you go forward in this new day, that you go forward in faith.   I pray that you go forward knowing that God is real and He is really watching over you and ready to perform His good work in you and for you.   I pray today that you, my friend, begin to experience His goodness, His grace, His love, and His mercy in your life like never before.   I pray that God’s favor is reflected in all that you do in Jesus name … Amen.
