Are You Binding Up and Casting Down and Out The Negative Words That Others Are Speaking Over Your Life?

Are you letting yesterday's pain dictate whether or not you will receive tomorrow's promise? Understand, how you handle the pain of your yesterday will determine whether or not you will receive God's blessings today and tomorrow. Don't let your pain dictate whether or not you will receive your promises from God.

In life we will experience the good, the bad, and the ugly. We will go through some things that we feel we never should have had to go through. People will do and say things that will hurt us whether they mean to hurt us or not. With life comes all of these challenges but it's how we handle the challenges that matter.

Don't allow the words of the enemy to penetrate your heart. Don't allow the actions of people to cause you to react. Don't allow the process of life to bring you death. You are in control of what you receive in life. You can receive the words, whether good or bad, that come from other people or you can choose not to receive them.

In order for someone or something to have authority over your life, you have to Grant it or them consent. You don't have to consent to the evil that comes out of someone's mouth over your life. You don't have to accept it and you don't have to receive it. You need to know how to bind up and cast down and out what's being spoken that you don't want to receive.

People will try to curse you with their words and it's important that you know how to reject and dismiss what they are saying that is not an alignment with God's Word for your life. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Isaiah 54:17
King James Version
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord."

Don't Get Caught In The Trap of Lying and Having To Tell More Lies

Are you changing the truth to benefit yourself? Any change to the truth makes it a lie. God is truth and you can't change God.  Take a moment and think about what truth is. Truth is stable. Truth does not fluctuate. Truth changes not. Truth is not based on human emotions. Again, God is truth.

God is stable. God does not fluctuate. God changes not. God's truth is based on His Word and His Word does not change based on how we feel.

When we change the truth, it becomes a lie.  The thing about telling a lie is that a snowballs and in order to keep it up, you have to continue to lie. You have to continue to lie so that the lies of your past don't unravel. So in essence, your stories become bigger stories and that takes up a lot of mental space because you have to remember the lies of your past so that you can fabricate the lies in your future.

The best way to live life is in truth. We need to always reflect the characteristics of God and God is truth. Don't allow the twisted tales of life to cause you to live a life full of detours that take you further and further away from the truth of God. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 7:14
"Behold, the wicked man conceives evil and is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies."

Are You Asking and Allowing God To Show That He Is Fighting For You?

What do you do when you don't know what to do? Are you giving up? Are you quitting? Are you letting go? Are you surrendering? If you are surrendering, who and what are you surrendering to? Are you surrendering to God or you surrendering to the devil and going into a place of being defeated?

God wants us to surrender but He wants us to surrender to Him! We have to make sure we're surrendering to the right one. We are not to surrender to defeat. We are to surrender to God so that our enemies can be defeated.

We have to understand that God is fighting for us. We have to allow Him to fight for us. If we're constantly trying to rule and to reign over our own situations instead of letting God rule and reign in and through our situations, we are trying to do things and accomplish things in ourselves. God wants us the cast our cares on Him because He cares for us.

He wants us to acknowledge that we trust Him by letting go and asking Him to handle it. We have to believe that God knows all and that He can do all things. The only way to acknowledge that you believe is by letting go and letting God do what only He can do. Today let's ask God to intervine and to show that He is on our side. Let's ask Him to do what only He can do. Let's let Him show our enemies that He is fighting for us. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Isaiah 64:1 (KJV)
"Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,"

Don't Serve God Half-Heartedly! Be All In!

Are you walking in mediocrity? Are you lukewarm when it comes to walking in faith?  Are you tolerating your own unfaithfulness? Are you telling yourself that it's okay to do what you do even if you know it's not okay with God?  Understand, God wants you to be all in! He wants you to seek Him and to serve Him.

Are you all in with God? Are you willing to give God your all and not just expect Him to do all that you need Him to do? Understand God wants us to be faithful and He will honor His Word of faith. It works both ways.

When a cake is half done it falls. When a chair is put together halfway, it falls. When we do things half-heartedly, we take the risk of falling. If we're going to walk this walk for God and talk this talk for God, we need to live this life for God fully. We need to do it all the way. We need to be all in. We need to not serve God halfway.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Matthew 6:24

King James Version
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

God Wants Us To Grow To The Point Where Our Lives Are Transformed and The Fruit of Our Lives Is Seen

Are you stunting your own growth by putting your total dependence on what you can do in yourself, by yourself, and for yourself?  Being dependent only on yourself sets boundaries around your life and around your growth. It's set limits on how you see yourself and what you can see yourself doing. It causes you to have an inward look and a mindset of self-sufficiency  instead of an outward look of faith ans seeing God as all-sufficient.

Have you ever been physically exhausted to the point that you just can't do one more thing? When you are self-sufficient and not dependent on God, you will become spiritually exhausted and you won't be able to move in motion with God. You will be spiritually overwhelmed, spiritually tired and spiritually disconnected.

God wants us living in His peace. He wants us living in His power. He wants us to be filled with faith and to not have futile faith.  We have to go beyond just saying that we believe to the point of trusting and believing until we experience the transformation and the fruit that comes with that transformation in our lives.  We have to stop stunting our growth and begin to grow into the fullness of all God has created us to be in and with Him. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in him, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

Are You Excited About Being In The Presence Of The Right People In Life?

Would you count it a privilege to be invited into the presence of someone who is of great importance? A king or someone very famous. Would you call that a privilege to be one of the few who was actually invited into that person's presence? Understand the privilege that we have to go before God every day. To be invited into His presence every day. For the veil to be torn and for us to actually be able to enter into His presence.

We as people sometimes take for granted the fact that we have an open invitation to God. He's the most important person in this world and of this world. People get excited to go before people who have status in society and yet they fail to acknowledge and know the importance and have the same or even more excitement when they go before the omnipotent, omniscient, all powerful, all knowing, Creator of everything that is.

People get excited about going before an earthly king who has earthly authority and yet they fail to get excited about going before our holy God and King who has Heavenly Authority. People get excited about being in the presence of performers and not excited about being in the presence of God.

Performers are looking for human validation whereas God is looking for relationship, truth, and trust. We have to know the importance of being in God's presence and we have to be overjoyed for just having the opportunity go to Him, to ask of Him, and to rest in Him. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 95:1-2
King James Version
"Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song."

Don't Forget God's Benefit Package

God told us to forget not all of His benefits. What does that mean to you? What benefits has God given you that He is urging you not to forget?

He told us not to forget that He forgives and pardons our iniquities. He told us not to forget that He heals us from sickness and disease.  He told us not to forget that He is our redeemer. We have to remember His redemption. He told us not to forget that He crowns us with love and mercy. God told us not to forget that He satisfies us with good things.

The thing about a benefit is that it is over and above what you normally get. So we have to understand our benefits as God's children.  We have to remember that our benefits are not like earning a wage or God paying a debt. These benefits are strictly based on the love, goodness, grace, and mercy of God.

So don't forget your benefits. Know that you are automatically enrolled when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Know that there is no waiting period with God's benefit package. You have immediate access to the Father and all that salvation has to offer. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 68:19 (KJV)
Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Stop Fighting People - Our Retaliation Doesn't Compare To God's Retribution

There may have been times in your life when someone continuously did evil towards you. You may even be going through a time like that now. You have to remember what God has already said. God said that vengeance is His. Understand, God does not take it lightly when someone does wrong to one of His children.

What is really scary is when a person knows that you serve God and they still choose to do evil against you. I know it's hard to look past the wrongs of others. It's very easy to move into a place of retaliation instead of realizing God has retribution. You don't have to pay back evil for evil. Actually God has said to pray for those people that do evil against you. You have to have faith and trust in God's Divine Justice.

Understand when people commit evil against you. God sees it all. God saw what Pharaoh did, God saw what was done to Jesus, and God sees what's going on in your life where people are coming against you. God is not blind to the evil of man. Even though you don't see Him rebuke people right away, know that we all have to go before God's throne and we all have to give an answer for the deeds we have done. So whether God rewards evil now or whether He saves it until we have to go before the throne of grace, understand, God has already said that He will handle it.

God gives each of us time to get it right. He gives each of us time to make amends. He gives each of us time to forgive and to ask for forgiveness. Repentance is real and we need to know the importance of repentance.

Don't allow your enemies to take up space in your heart or your mind. Don't be consumed by what they are doing, instead, trust what God has said He will do. Your anger towards a person does not compare to God's wrath if that person doesn't repent. Let God handle it. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Romans 2:5
"Because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed."

Are You Letting What Others Are Saying Override What God Has Already Said?

What is it that you are allowing to pull you away from your purpose? What are you allowing to distract you? What are you allowing to cause you to be anxious?  What are you allowing to cause you to walk in fear?

Whatever it is that answers all of these questions, understand it is not of God. God does not want you doing anything other than what He has purposed for you to do. He doesn't want you distracted by life. He doesn't want you anxious about anything. He doesn't want fear to overtake your faith.

Today make up your mind that you going to live this life on purpose in order to fulfill your purpose. Make up your mind that you will keep your eyes stayed on God. Make up your mind that you will have His peace that surpasses all of your understanding. Make up your mind that you will walk by faith and not fear.

It's not always easy to do all of these things but you have to remember that God is with you. He said He would never leave you nor forsake you. He said that He is watching over His Word to perform it in your life. Never let what the world and the people of this world say override what God has already said. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Isaiah 55:11 l
Amplified Bible (AMP)
So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

Are You Letting Temporary Interruptions Keep You From Receiving the Fulfillment of God's Promises In Your Life?

Did you know just because something is interrupting your process doesn't mean it's stopping God's plan? You can't doubt God's plan just because your process is interrupted. The devil is going to try you. He does not want God's plan to be perfected in your life but the devil can't stop God. The devil can hinder you but he can't stop God.

The thing about Interruption is it's temporary. It's putting something on hold temporarily. It's unexpected. In most cases when you are interrupted, it's not something that you expect to happen.  When you are interrupted, your goals should remain the same. You still should be intentional about completing the process. The thing about completing the spiritually is, it's only when you complete the process that you actually get to the promise.

You have to stop allowing the temporary interruptions of life to interfere with you completing the process of getting to God's promises in life.  You have to remember that God's promises are true. You have to remember that God is not a man and He does not lie. You have to remember that He that began a good work in you is faithful to complete the work that He has started.

Remember, interruptions are just that, interruptions. Promises are the fulfillment of God's Word. So make sure you resume your process after you are interrupted so that you can receive the fulfillment of all that God has for you. Amen

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not

Are You Trusting God Even When You Can't See Him Moving?

Waiting on God means trusting God even when you don't know what's happening. What you don't know, God knows. God has promised to watch over you, shield you, protect you, and to provide for you. He knows what to do next concerning your situation.

Your faith in your trust in God should reflect you trusting God to do whatever needs to be done next. God is not blind to the devil's intent. He knows what the devil is going to do and when he's going to do it. Now remember, God has promised to take care of you. He has promised to watch over you, to shield you, and to protect you. If you trust God to do that, you have to get into a place of not worrying and not fretting. You have to believe that God will do what He said he would do.

God knows how to stop the enemy in his tracks. He knows how to interrupt the enemy's plan. He knows how to divinely intervene. When you ask God to do those things, you then have to trust Him to do it. You have to believe that He's going to honor His promises concerning your life.

So today, trust God. Don't worry and don't fret. Believe that God is going to do what He said He would do. Wait on God to fulfill His promise. Amen

Proverbs 3:5-6
King James Version
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Are You Staying Rooted and Grounded in Prayer and Faith During the Silence of Your Enemy?

What are you doing during the silence of your enemy? Are you still praying or are you reacting in fear and doubt? Are you standing on the Word that God has already given you or are you letting the silence of the enemy affect you in ways that you should not.

Understand the silence of the enemy does not mean that the enemy has won. It means that the enemy probably wants you to react. It means that the enemy is strategizing. It doesn't mean that God's power can be overridden. It doesn't mean that you lose. It means that you need to stay rooted and grounded in prayer and the Word. You have to trust God no matter what. You have to know that no matter what the enemy is trying to plot or plan, you may not see it but God sees it all. The enemy cannot out wit God. He cannot overpower God. He cannot change what God has established, said, or set in place. His strategy is always to get to the flesh side of you. If he can get to the flesh side of you and make you to react in fear and doubt instead of faith, he can get to what God has for you. If he can't and you stand strong on the Word, God will honor His Word.

So, don't move based on the threats or the silence of the enemy. Trust God no matter what. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 37:12-13

  • Verse 13: The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.

Are You Letting Your Feelings of Fear Destroy Your Words of Faith?

Are you so concerned about what's going on around you that you fail to take notice of what's happening inside of you? Are you so intimidated by outside circumstances that it pushes you into a place of fear and depression? Are you in a place where those things that you don't have control of, are now controlling you?

Are you feeling stressed, depressed, or are you on an emotional low? Are you emotions hijacking your peace? Are you at a place where you can't even think clearly in order to rationalize and discern right from wrong?

You can't let what's happening around your control what's happening in you. God wants you to stay in a place of faith. He want you to stay in a place of peace. What's going on around you can quickly put you in a place of fear. That's why it's important to have God's Word stored up on the inside. So that you can have His peace that flows from the inside out. So that the words that come out of your belly will be words of life and not death. So that you will have the strength, knowledge, and understanding to speak words of faith so that you can counteract the feelings of fear.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 56:3–4
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Is Your Faith Rooted In Fear or Your Love and Trust in God? Has Fear Become Your Constant Companion?

Are you running? Are you hiding? Are you trying to handle things on your own? If you are doing all of these things, then your faith is not in God. Your faith is in what you think you can do or what you think you need to do.

Understand, you can have faith in fear. When you have faith in fear, fear becomes your friend. It becomes your constant companion. It's with you wherever you go. It's recognizable as relatable to you.

Just as God's Word prophesies to your life, so can fear. Fear will speak to you. It will tell you what you can and cannot have in life. It will give you negative words that predict failure, loneliness, and lack. Fear will bring with it the "what if" questions that come up in life. It will tell you stories about what you can't do and it will always give you worse case scenarios about what you are going through.

You will see throughout life people change companions constantly but make it a point not to become a companion of fear. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
2 Timothy 1:7
King James Version
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

What Are You Holding Onto and What Are You Letting Go Of? Are You Letting Go Of What You Should Be Holding Onto?

There are many things in life that we need to let go of but my question today is are you letting go of the right things or should I say the things that are wrong for your life? So often in life we try to hold onto the wrong things and we let go of the right things. We need to be holding on to God and His unchanging hand. We need to be holding onto our faith. We need to be holding on in prayer for our friends and our families. There are many things in life that we need to hold onto.

So often in life people let go. They let go of God. They let go of faith. They let go of friends and family and stop praying for them. They let go because of what they cannot see. You have to understand faith is believing for what you cannot see. So to let go when you can't see the results it's the opposite of walking in faith.

God has not only called us to walk in faith, He has told us to walk in faith. He said through faith and patience we shall receive the promise. He said to have faith in Him. Abraham is our example. God wanted us to see that walking in faith is possible. So understand today what feels like it is impossible, is possible with God. Stop letting the enemy win by letting go of the wrong things. The things you need to let go of all pertain to the enemy and His works. So filter your faith through the Word of God and you will always know what to hold onto and what to let go of. Amen

2 Corinthians 5:7
King James Version
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Are You Fretting Because Of Evil Doers? What God Says We Should Be Doing.

Are you fretting because of the evil someone else is trying to do to you?  To fret means to lose your peace. It means to be angry, anxious, and agitated. Is there something going on in your life that people are trying to do to you that's causing you to fret? The Bible tells us not to fret because of evil doers!  It tells us that our fretting only leads us to do evil as well.

The Bible tells us that instead of fretting over the evil that someone else is doing to us, we ought to turn away and to do good. That can be a hard thing to do. But that's what God wants us to do.  He said we are to depart from evil and to do good.  We are to shift our focus on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.   It doesn't matter what others are doing, we are in control of what we do and we need to know how to bind up and cast down at the initial thought anything that tries to rise up that pertains to evil in response to the evil that someone else is doing.

This is where resistance comes in. We are to resist the devil and he shall flee. So we must resist the temptation to pay back evil for evil. We are God's children and our actions and reactions need to line up with God and His Word. We have to respond the way God would respond and not react the way the devil wants us to act. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
1 Peter 3:11
Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

We Have Discernment and God Provides Us With Divine Surveillance But What Is Crossing the Threshold of Your Heart?

The thing about a door is that anyone can come up to your door and knock on it. You get to choose whether you answer the door. The Bible says Jesus is knocking at the door of our hearts and we get to choose whether or not we will let Him in and allow Him to bring in His peace, His power, His strength, His knowledge, His understanding, and so much more. But understand, the devil is also knocking at the door of your heart. He wants to bring in evil, deceit, destruction, lies, confusion, and so much more. The question is, who and what are you letting in?

Nowadays most people have some kind of security camera up at their home. Think about a ring camera. Think about the purpose of the camera. The purpose of the camera is to act as surveillance over your home. It records everything going on even those things that people think are hidden or not seen. They can be seen on a ring camera. Now think about God. Think about the omnipresence of the Father. Think about how He knows and sees all things. His Word says that His eyes are everywhere and He sees the wicked and the good.

Understand, we have discernment and God provides us with divine surveillance. He is everywhere and He sees everything and He is shielding and protecting us at all times but we still get to choose who and what we allow to cross the threshold of our hearts. Are you letting God in or are you letting the devil in? You are the one who opens the door and allows whomever or whatever to enter in to your heart, mind, and life. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Revelation 3:20
King James Version
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.

Are You Letting What Someone Else Is Trying To Do Too Destroy Your Peace In God?

Are you letting what others do destroy God's peace in you? God is still God! Why are you fretting over what others are trying to do to you? What others try to do does not negate what God has already said and what God has already done. You have to remember, your faith is in God and not in the actions of others.

Understand, one of the greatest assets that the enemy has in the Earth is a person who's willing to compromise. A person who's willing to cross the boundary between the truth and a lie. A person who is willing to lower their standards to appease the desires of their flesh. Whether that means lowering their standard to act out and sin or lowering their standards to bring hurt and harm to someone else.  Just as God is looking for yielded vessels that will surrender their lives to Him, the devil is also looking for yielded vessels to surrender their lives to him.

You can't let what someone else is saying or doing affect your peace in God. When you have peace in God, that means you are situated in the Word and the will of God, you are shielded, guarded, and protected while you rest in God. Don't let anyone pull you out of that place of rest in God into a place of fear and unrest. People will be people and people will do what they want to do. However, you get to choose how you will respond to what's being done. Let your response always be based on what Jesus has already done. He has won the victory and you have toxkeep a victorious mindset. So stay in the victorious place of peace with God. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Philippians 4:6-7
King James Version

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds

Are You Checking Yourself Against Yourself and Not Others? How Are You Running Your Spiritual Race? Are You Winning Your Faith Fight?

Life is full of competitions but you need to understand, the only competition that truly matters in life is your faith fight. God told us to fight the good fight of faith. We have to stop trying to compete with man and understand that we are in a self-competition.  A competition where we get up each day and check ourselves and our faith walk against ourselves. Our faith walk is a one-on-one walk with God. We can't live out someone else's faith. We can learn what it means to walk in faith. We can look at the lives of others like Abraham and see how he lived in faith and trusted God but ultimately, we have to live our own lives of faith and how we live our lives of faith reflects how much we personally trust and believe God.

So today make it a point to grow in faith. Out perform your yesterday's walk of faith. Pray more. Trust more. Believe more. Wait on God more. Find an area that you didn't grow in faith yesterday (where fear and doubt entered in) and undergird yourself with God's Word to help you grow in that area today. Do what you can today to make sure your choices are in alignment with God's Word, so that God can honor His Word in your life. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Fight the good fight of the faith [in the conflict with evil]; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and [for which] you made the good confession [of faith] in the presence of many witnesses

God Did Not Put You Here To Just Exist. He Made You Different To Make A Difference!

You have to understand that God did not just put you here to exist. He put you here to make a difference and to be different. He didn't place you here to follow the crowd. He didn't place you here to just agree with what the enemy is saying and doing in the world. He put you here to be a prayer warrior. He put you here as His voice in the earth. He put you here so that His love could flow through you to others. God put you here on purpose and He placed within you His purpose.

So understand what that means. That means you are not here by accident. God does not do things by accident. He did not put you here just to survive. He wants you to thrive in Him.  God created you and He filled you with His Holy Spirit which means inside of you is all that God is. His peace is in you. His joy is in you. His strength is in you. Everything that God is, resides on the inside of you. You just have to access it. You have to access His peace, His joy, His love, His strength, and everything else that He is and as you access all of who and what God is by practicing his presence.

You practice His presence by including Him in every part of your life. If you washing dishes, you still need to be aware of God's presence. If you are at work, you need to be aware of God's presence. If you're hanging out with friends,  you still need to be aware of God's presence. You have to practice having faith over fear. You have to practice having peace even when there's chaos around you. When you learn how to practice God's presence, it will eventually become your norm and your norm will prove to be you walking in your purpose at all times. Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Are You Binding Up and Casting Down and Out The Negative Words That Others Are Speaking Over Your Life?

Are you letting yesterday's pain dictate whether or not you will receive tomorrow's promise? Understand, how you handle the pain of ...
