Welcome to Daily Moments with God, an online sanctuary written by Christian author R. Lynn Moore. This space is a dedicated resource for your everyday walk with Jesus. Through daily devotionals, scriptural studies, and deep reflections, this blog aims to build, edify, and exhort believers. Our mission is to help you silence the noise of the world, stay rooted in faith, and trust God's sovereign hand through life's unexpected turns.
Are you tired yet? Are you tired of trying to do it on your own? Trying to figure it out on your own? Are you ready yet? Ready to give it to God. To allow God to take complete and total control of your situation and your life. We have to understand ... God is not going to fight us for control. He has given us the power of choice. We have to choose to allow Him to step into our situation. We have to choose to allow Him to move and to manifest in our lives. We have to choose to allow Him to have free reign in our lives. If we don't choose Him, we can never fully enjoy the things that pertain to Him.
Today we have a choice to make. We can choose to give it all over. Every fear, every doubt, every hurt, every pain, every sickness, and every disease or we can hold on to it. We can worry about it. We can stress over it. We can cry about it. But as long as we hold it, we are telling God that He can't have it. Give it all to God. Your TOTAL life. Give it all over to Him.
Are you holding on to anger, bitterness, and strife? Are you living in your disappointment? Disappointed with God. Disappointed with people. Disappointed with places and disappointed with things. If so, let it go. Let go of the pain and the hurt that you are keeping bottled up inside. Understand God created you to "carry and release". To carry and release His anointing. To carry and release His praise. To carry and release His worship. He never meant for you to be dormant or stagnant. When something is dormant, it is not actively growing. When something is stagnant, it has no current or flow.
Understand, God wants you to flow continuously. He wants you to always be growing in Him. So whatever it is that is stopping your flow, let go of it. Let go of the anger. Let go of the bitterness. Let go of the strife and the disappointment. Let it all God so that you can flow freely for God. Amen.
You did it. You made it. You walked it out and you saw it through. Now what? Why are you ready to give up this time? Why are you not trusting this time? You have to reflect back on what God has already done for you in order to see that God will do what you need done right now. It's time to start trusting and believing. Instead of wondering and doubting.
This is not the first time that you needed God to move on your behalf. Understand we are DEPENDENT on God. Stop trying to declare your independence from God based on trying to do things in yourself and for yourself. God is your source. Not only is He your source, He is your resource.
Whatever. Do you ever find yourself saying whatever? The word whatever is used to define a lack of restrictions. What if you gave God a "whatever" status in your life. Where He could do whatever He wants to do without restrictions. Instead of giving God a whatever status, we tend to live a whatever lifestyle. Where we live our lives without restrictions defined by His word. We live with a whatever attitude. Where we care about anyone or anything. Let your whatever be God based. Let it be based on what God can do. What God will do. Let God do "whatever" He needs to do in order to make your life whole and complete in Him.
Just because it hurts doesn't mean that it is over. Are you giving up and quitting because you feel pain? Are you losing hope? What about your joy and your strength? Are you giving in just because you can't see the answer right now? Be strong. Don't give up. Don't quit. Don't stop. God has a plan. You may not be able to see how it is going to work out ... but because He has made you a promise you can rest assured that it will work out.
Trust God. Believe God. Know God. If you trust, believe, and know ... you will be able to enter into His rest. Rest in knowing that God is God. Rest in believing that He is more than able. Rest and trust that His word is true. Know that how it looks and how it feels does not determine what God will do.

"I Surrender"
Ministered By Hillsong
We get so caught up thinking it's not working the way we want it to work. We don't ever stop to think about the fact that it has never supposed to work out according to "our" plan. It has always been about God and His plan. The Bible tells us that God has a plan for us. A plan that will give us a hope, a future, and an expected end.
We have to begin to focus on the expected end that God has promised us. The expectancy of eternal life. When you focus on the end of a thing, it helps you to understand the process necessary to get to that end. As you focus on eternal life ... you begin to understand that there is a process that it will take in order to obtain life eternal with God. A process of faith and a process of obedience. As we walk in faith and obedience, we begin to walk in the plan of God which will give us hope and lead us into our future and expected end.
Are you counting it all joy? To count means to reckon. To add it all up. To compute, figure, and consider. You have to count it all joy. When you look at the whole picture ... see the outcome. See the blessing. We tend to highlight the struggle and by the time we get to the place of victory, we enter into a place of relief. We have to learn how to allow the process, as well as, the place of relief to also be places of extreme joy. Places where we know, see, an understand that it is all a part of the plan to get us to the place of victory that has already been established.
So today ... count it all joy. What you have been through and what you are going through. Know today that it is all working together to bring you to that place of victory in God. A place of establishment ... where you can no longer be moved. Where you life will shine as a beacon light for others to see their way out of the dark places in life.
