You Are The Planting Of The Lord .... But In Order To Receive His Strength .... You Must Stay Connected To The Vine .....

We have to begin to understand what God will do in the middle of a situation and a circumstance.   In the middle of a battle.   In the middle of a storm.     Understand that God is not outside of your situation today.   God is at the very core of your being.   Understand that you are stemmed from who He is.    Think about the parts of a plant ..... the stem, the core, and the seed.

The stem is the main stalk or body of a plant which is used to connect a plant to the vine, an apple to a tree, etc.   The core is the central, innermost, or most essential part of anything.   The seed is the part that contains within it the ability to reproduce.

Understand that you are the planting of the Lord.    You are His plant in the earth.    The stem  is what connects you to Him.    His dwelling place is in the core of your being.     You carry within you the seed of His word which has the ability to reproduce.

The thing about a plant is that if you detach the stem from the vine ..... the plant is vulnerable to death.   The word vulnerable means to be exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed.    When you detach from God .... you open yourself up to exposure.   You are at that point subject to attack and to harm.    God loves you and it is His desire that you stay connected to Him.   In Him is everything you need to survive.    When you become detached you no longer have roots.   Therefore your source of strength is then based on what you can do in yourself.    There is no longer a root system by which you can be fed.

Stay connected to the vine and allow God to strengthen you and use you for His glory.    Amen.
