What Is Your Goal For Today? Is It To Please Your Father or To Accomplish A Task?

Do you realize that you are called to lead?   You are called to follow God and to lead others.   A good scripture to meditate on today is Proverbs 10:17 .....He who heeds instruction and correction is [not only himself] in the way of life [but also] is a way of life for others. And he who neglects or refuses reproof [not only himself] goes astray [but also] causes to err and is a path toward ruin for others.  

This scripture tells us that we are always leading.   Whether we are leading people in instruction or destruction .... we are preparing a path.     What path are you preparing for those around you.   Your children, your family, your friends, your co-workers, or the strangers that you encounter on the street.    Are you leading them to life or ruin?   Are you showing them it can be done or it's okay to compromise.   We have to make up our minds.    Who and what we will serve.   We have to decide on what value we put on God.   If he is the most valuable thing in our lives we will put Him first in all that we do.   Check your life today ..... what is your goal for today ..... is it to please your Father or to accomplish a task.   If you live to please your Father ... .He will help you accomplish the task.
