Are You Being Steadfast and Immovable or Are You Staggering and Walking Unsteadily?

It’s time to stop staggering.   To stagger means to walk unsteadily.    When you walk unsteadily, you are prone to falling.   It’s time to stop falling outside of God’s Word and His will.   It’s time to be steadfast and immovable so that you can abound in the promises of God.

Some of the synonyms for the word steadfast are:   loyal, faithful, committed, devoted, and dedicated.   God is steadfast.   He is loyal, faithful, committed, devoted, and dedicated to us.   The question is, are we willing to be loyal, faithful, committed, devoted, and dedicated to Him.    We spend our lives trying to do all these other things for other people and our jobs and yet we fail to be steadfast when it comes to the things of God.   It’s time for a shift.    It’s time to stop staggering.

When things are immovable, they are fixed, secure, stable, anchored, and rooted.   God wants us to be immovable when it comes to His Word.   We need to have our hearts and minds fixed on His Word.   We need to be secure in His promises.    We need to be anchored and rooted when it comes to the things of God.
