What are you holding on to? Are you holding on to the hurt and pain of your past? Are you holding on to the people, places, and things that were a part of your past? Are you refusing to let go of things that should be in the past? What is it that you are holding on to?
Weights are heavy and sometimes the “weight” of your past can hinder you, hold you down, and hold you back from stepping into the new and good things God has prepared for your future. It’s time to let go. It’s time to move forward. It’s time to experience the hope and the future that God said in His Word that He has prepared for you.
Sometimes it’s not just about letting go. We can know we need to let go but we just don’t know how to let go. When we begin to let go, we begin to walk in the “what if’s” of life and we begin to walk in fear of what will happen next. So instead of letting go as we know we should, we hold on to what we know. It become our security blanket instead of trusting God to be our secure covering.
We have to understand, God has a plan for our lives but that plan requires us to trust Him, believe Him, and to walk in faith expecting Him to do good and great things in our lives. However, we must learn to release the people, places, and things that have become soul ties. Those things that are attached to our mind, our will, and our emotions. Those things that have become security for us that we know are not good for us.
SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Hebrews 12:1
King James Version (KJV)
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

I am trying so hard not to live in past hurt but if I try to address and explain how it hurt me when it was done, the person gets an attitude and does not wanna listen! I'm trying to move on...
Annie
Oh my goodness my life story. People have hurt me so deeply and never ever admit to it. Of cause they won't listen because they live in what i call.. "Quite Guilt" and yet walk around all smiley and happy as if they are the happiest.
Leave it all in God's hands Annie i have. Yes it hurts and yes i also have tried to move on from these people, some near and some far (So called Family members) of which i have completely disconnected from, i had to for my own well being and peace. I know whom i am the kind caring soul that i am and so does God.
All these people i have been there for and loved and cared for and where are they now that i am facing concerning medical issues? No where to be found. They know what i am facing and not on call, meanwhile there were times they were in the hospital with surgeries or concerning medical issues and i was there from the moment i found out out until the day they were discharged from the hospital and going home. Do they remember this? No! Is it fair? No!
Stay in faith God sustains us all, just pray to God talk to him with true faith and your heart and you will feel peace afterwards. Blessings Annie take care...
