Are You Saying What You Believe and Believing What You Say? Are You Rooted and Grounded In Faith?

Where are you in your walk with God?   Are you at a place where you trust Him completely or are you still fluctuating in your faith?    God wants you to believe in Him and to trust Him completely.   He wants you to know that you know that He is God and He wants you to know that He is watching over His Word to perform it in your life.    He wants you to know how to stand still and know that He is God and He wants you to be rooted in Him and His Word so that when the winds of life blow your way, you won't be moved.

Where are your roots and how deep do they go?   Do they go deep enough?   When I say deep enough, I am asking if they go so far down to the point  that no matter how much the enemy tries to dig into you or should I say press into you, you are still standing on faith.   You have to be rooted and grounded in faith.   You have to say what you believe and you have to believe what you say.

Every day you should be growing with God.   Every day you should learn more of Him and trust Him more.    Yes, every day you may experience a different challenge but understand as God brings you through each day, you get to experience His love, His mercy, His grace, and His faithfulness.   So don't let the things in life that come to block your faith hinder you from trusting and believing that God is God all by Himself and He is well able to take care of You.    Be rooted and grounded in God's Word.   Know that He loves you and He is never going to leave nor forsake You.   Know that He is faithful and His promises are true.

Are You Going To God, Asking Of God, and Obeying God?

Are you going to God, asking of God, and obeying God?   A lot of times people go to God and they tell Him what they need but they don't choose to obey God.   We have to know that obedience is a key factor in receiving from God.    He wants us to honor Him by honoring His Word.    However, there are many that want God to overlook their disobedience and bless them in-spite of their sin.

One question we should ask ourselves is, should disobedience be rewarded?    If your child or children  deliberately disobeys the instructions you have given them, do you still reward them?    We should not be expecting God to reward our disobedience.    Keep in mind, there is a difference when you have knowledge and know what to do and yet choose not to do it.

God is a good God.   He is merciful, loving, kind, and forgiving but that does not mean we should take advantage of His mercy, love, kindness, and forgiveness.   It doesn't mean we should sin just because we know we are forgiven.   If God wanted us to live freely in sin, He would not have told us to sin not.   He would not have told us to be holy as He is holy.   He would not have told us to repent.

We have to learn how to live our lives according to God Word and know that His blessings are connected to our obedience.

Are You Leaning To Your Own Understanding or Allowing God To Direct Your Path?

Are you leaning to your own understanding or are you acknowledging God and allowing God to direct your path?   It's easy in life to go on what you know.   To flow in the ways that you have been and are comfortable with but UNDERSTAND, God wants us to walk by faith.   Faith is not based on what you know.   It is based on having your hope and trust in what God has said.   It's trusting in the promise of God's provision, healing, and grace.

God wants you to look not at what you see in the natural.   Instead He wants you to keep the eyes of your understanding stayed on Him.   Your eyes are the organs through which you see.   When you eye someone, you watch them closely and with interest.   God wants us to watch Him closely.   He wants to be the One who we are interested in.    He doesn't want us to be distracted and He doesn't want our vision to be skewed.   When something is skewed, it is twisted, turned, or suddenly changed.   He wants us to remain focused on Him no matter what is going on around us.

In the beginning of the year 2020, God said we have to have 20/20 vision in 20/20 and we can see why.   With the pandemic and so many other things going on in this world right now, we have to have faith.   We have to have our trust and our reliance in God.   The trials that we are going through in the world can easily distract us and cause us to walk in fear but God wants us to fear not.   He wants us to know that He is God and He is well able to deliver us.

Are You Full Of Joy or Are You Overloaded With Worry and Doubt?

The Bible says in God's presence is fullness of joy.   When something is full, it is at the point of overflowing.   It is at its capacity or should we say it has reached its limits.   God wants us to be so full of joy to the point that we can't hold anymore and it begins to overflow onto and into the lives of those around us.

Are you full today?   Are you full of joy or are you overloaded with worry and doubt?   What is it that you are allowing to overflow from your life onto the lives of those around you?  God wants you to be full of joy.   He wants His joy to be in you to the point that it pushes out and presses out all the worry, doubt, and fear.   We can be full of worry, we can be full of doubt, and we can be full of fear but God wants us to be full of joy.   We have to let the joy of the Lord counteract all of the other stuff that is trying to consume our hearts and our minds.

Joy signifies success and triumph.   You have to know that you are triumphant in God.   Your are victorious through Christ.   Not only is the fullness of joy in God's presence.   He has told us to rejoice in Him always.   When we rejoice in Him, we delight in Him and we are happy in Him.

So stay in God's presence and let not your heart be troubled.   Be full of joy knowing that you are triumphant in and with Him.

What's Inspiring You and Motivating You To Do What You Do In and With Your Life?

Have you learned how to depend upon God's Word?   Have you let yourself get to the place where your dependence is completely and totally upon God?   To depend means to rely on something and to be controlled by it.   It means that your movement is contingent upon it.  Are you at a place in your life where the things you do and the things you say are contingent upon what God has said in His Word?

It's time to live in and by faith.   It's time to take God at His Word.   It's time to move as God has told you to move and to say what God has told you to say.   It's time.   The set time is now.

How many times in your life have you moved based on the inspiration of another persons words?   How often have you let others motivate you based on what they have experienced in life?   It is not bad to be inspired and motivated by others as long as that person is inspiring and motivating you to do the right things.   BUT UNDERSTAND, God is the Author and Finisher of life.   We need to be inspired by Him and His Word.   We need to be motivated by Him and His Word.   We need to be influenced by Him and His Word.    We can't leave God out of the equation of life.

Let your dependence be in and on God.    Remember, He has a plan and He is faithful to complete the good work that He has began in you.    Take the time to assess the nature of everything that is motivating you and make sure it is in alignment with God and His Word before you move on it.   Always let God's Word be the final authority in your life.

Are You Focused In On Your Inability To Do What Needs To Be Done or God's Ability To Do What Needs To Be Done?

What are you doing when situations arise that challenge your faith?   Are you standing and holding on to the Word you know or are you giving up and accepting defeat?    God wants us to stand in faith.   He wants us to hold on to the promises He has given us in His Word.    We have to understand challenges will come but we are strong enough to take a stand in faith and it is our faith that will usher us into the promises and the provision of God.

When you stand in faith, you stand based on what God has said He will do.   You stand knowing that He is  all-knowing and all-powerful and it is up to Him to do what He has promised He will do.    So often in life we try to stand in our own strength.   We say we are in faith but in essence we are allowing our dependence to be on our own ability and not Gods.  We look at what we can do and we base our ability to succeed by conceding to our inabilities.   When you look at inabilities, you look at your lack of power, resources, and capacity.   You look at what you cannot do instead of taking a stand based on what God will do for you.    Our faith has to always be based on God's power, His resources, and His capacity and not our own.

We have to get to the point of basing our stand on what God can and will do for us.   We have to know that there is nothing to hard for God.   We have to trust and we have to believe that He will honor His Word in and through our lives.    We have to stand in the midst of challenges and remember we are champions in and with Him.

Are You Getting Caught Up In The Process or Are You Keeping Your Heart and Your Mind Stayed On The One Who Can Bring You Through The Process?

So often in life people get caught up in what they are going through and forget the fact that God wants their faith and trust to be in Him to bring them through it.    We have to remember that no matter what we are going through in life, God will watch over us, shield us, protect us, provide for us, heal us, and deliver us.   He is always watching over His Word to perform it in our lives.

Are you trusting God with your whole heart?   Are you expecting Him to move on your behalf?   Are you speaking faith filled words and are you expecting God to move on the words you have spoken in prayer?    Our faith must always be in what God can and will do and not in what we can do in and of ourselves.

So don't get caught up in the process.   Don't allow your eyes nor your mind to wander.   Instead let them be focused in on God.    When we start looking at what we are going through and thinking constantly about what we are going through instead of the One who can bring us through it, we get overwhelmed and we lose hope.   No matter what we are going through in life, it is God who can bring us through it.    So never forget your point of focus because it is where your strength will come from.  When you know that God is working on your behalf, you know that you are not alone an He can and will do great things.

Are You Being Complacent or Are You Living Your Life With A Determination To Fulfill God's Purpose In The Earth?

What is on your mind today?   Did you wake up thinking about how good God is?  How he brought you through yesterday into this new day and blessed you with brand new mercy for today.    God is a good God and we have to make sure we are not taking his mercy and grace for granted.

Sometimes in life we can become comfortable and complacent.    To be complacent means to be satisfied in your own self-achievements.   It is as though we are saying to God we've done enough.   We're okay.   We have accomplished all that we need to accomplish and we are satisfied.

Aren't you glad Jesus was not a complacent person?   Aren't you glad that He didn't stop at the point where he turned the water into wine?    Aren't you glad that He said not my will but thy will be done?   Aren't you glad that He was not satisfied with self-achievement but He wanted to achieve God's plan and purpose in the earth and He did that all the way to dying on the cross for us.

That is how we need to think.   We need to think how God thinks.   He thinks with a mindset of love and compassion.   He thinks about what we need and He sacrificed His Son to give us what we need.   Live your life sacrificially and have a your mind set on God and be determined to fulfill His purpose.   Don't be complacent in your own self achievements.

Are You Allowing The Struggles That You Are Encountering In Life To Trick You Into Believing You Can't Make It?

Saying and doing are two different things.   It is easy to say a thing but backing up what you say is a little more difficult.   God wants us to be doers and not just those who hear His Word.   He wants us to live the Word we read about, hear about, and speak about.   None of us are perfect but we all can strive to do what is right.

When you think about the word strive, it means to make great effort to achieve or to obtain something.   It involves struggling and fighting vigorously.   A lot of times in life we get lost in the struggle.   We give up or we quit because we "feel" as though we can't make it.   We have to get to the place where we refuse to quit and we refuse to give up and we have to understand that we are not fighting alone.   God is our strength.    We have already been declared victorious in all the challenges we will ever face because the battle has already been won.    Even when it looks like we have lost a challenge we have to remember THE BATTLE HAS BEEN WON.

Today I want to say don't give up.   Don't quit and don't give in.   Know that God is with You.   Know that He is watching over His Word to perform it in your life.   Stay in faith.   Don't allow the struggle to trick you into believing you can't make it.   Not only can you make it, you will make it because God is on your side.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 118:6-9

King James Version

6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7 The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

What Are You Going To Do In and With This Fresh Start God Has Given You Today?

New beginnings.   Are you ready for a new beginning?   Are you ready to begin again right here right now?   Do you understand that God has been merciful to you?  Do you understand that what you went through didn't have the power to take you out?   Your trial is now your testimony.   It is now a reference point in your life.   A point where you can go back and tell others what God did for you and it will encourage others and help others understand what He can and will do for them too if they are willing and obedient.

So today is a new day.   It's a fresh start for you.   It's a good time to go to God and ask God for forgiveness for any sins known and unknown.   It's a good time to invite Him in and to ask Him to lead, guide, and direct your footsteps.   It's a good time to commit or recommit to Him.    It's a good time to say thank You to Him.   Thank Him for what He has brought you through and thank Him for the place He has brought you to in life.

This very moment that you are living in is new to you.   It is a moment that you have never lived before.   Make the best of it.   Be determined in it to move forward with God.   Understand, God makes all things new.    No moment in our lives is a moment that we have ever lived before.   Walk in the newness of God today.

How Are You Responding To The People and. The Situations You Encounter In Life?

Are you doing what God has told you to do despite what others are doing?  Sometimes life gets hard and sometimes people around you don't respond the way you thought they would or should but you can't allow another persons response to control your actions.    If God tells you to pray for someone, you need to pray.   If He tells you to give to someone, you need to give.   What you do should not be based on what another person does.   It is hard sometimes to move past what someone has done to you.   How they treat you and how they respond to you can be hard to overcome but remember everything you are doing should be looked at as your response to God and His love for you and not your response to people and what they have done to you.

How you respond to God's love is up to you.   You have to remember what you do for others, you are doing for God.   You are God's vessel in the earth.   He created you on purpose with purpose and that purpose includes you being His representative in a lost and dying world.    That purpose calls you to be a light in the midst of darkness and a voice of hope in a world that is filled with fear.

How do your respond to hate?    How do you respond to negativity?   How do you respond to love?    Make sure you are responding to hate with love.   Make sure you are responding to negativity with love.   Make sure you are responding to love with love.   We have to understand that God is love and our response to every situation we encounter in life should include who and what He is.   Let your response always be a love response.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

1 John 4:7-10

King James Version

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Do You Realize You Are Past The Point Of Your Past and God Is Ready To Do A New Thing In You, For You, and Through You?

How often do you look back and wonder what if?   What if you had done things differently?   What if you would have gotten the promotion?   What if?   Understand, God does not wanting you living your life looking back and wondering what if.   He wants you to look ahead with hope and expectation.   He wants you to know that He knows all things.  He knew the choice you would make and he knows the outcome of every situation in our lives before it even happens.

So, what if?   When we think about what if, let's think about it in a future context.  Let's meditate on the what ifs that come along with us being obedient to God.   What if we choose to walk in God's will, Word, and way?   What if we choose to pray?   What if we love those who choose to hate us?   What if?    We have to know if we choose to obey God, God will always take care of us even when we encounter challenges in our lives.

Questions will always arise in our hearts and minds but we have to refuse to live in the past.    When the enemy brings up what you could have done, you need to begin to confess what you can do now.   You are past the point of your past and God said He would do a new thing in you.   So live in the expectancy of what God desires to do for you, in you, and through you from this point forward.

Are You Loving Others As God Loves You? Pressing Beyond Mere Words and Fleshly Actions

What is love to you?   What does it really mean to you to love someone unconditionally or have you got to that point yet?   To the point of unconditional love where you love others beyond their faults and you show them mercy.   That's not easy to do.   It's not easy to move mentally and physically beyond what someone else has done to you.   We live in a world where people predicate love based on what a person does for them and if the person does something to them, the love we have for them goes away and that is not of God.

God's love is unending.   His love never fails.   His love sees beyond our faults and it is a sacrificial love.    God's love is full of mercy and doesn't take record of the wrongs that others do to us.   We have to understand that God is love and in order for us to love like Him, we have to have Him and His Word at work in and through our lives.

My prayer for you today is that you love others like God loves you.   I pray that you take no record of the wrongs done to you but instead pray for those who have wronged you.   I am praying that you press beyond just loving someone with words and fleshly actions.   I pray that you dig deeper and learn to love unconditionally.    I pray that you walk in agape love just as you are loved by God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

John 15:12

King James Version

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Are You Learning How To Let Go Of Some Things In Order To Gain Those Things God Has Prepared For Your Life?

How do you let go when all you want to do is hold on?   How do you release the things that are holding so tightly on to you?   These are big questions when it comes to life.   In life, there will be people, places, and things we will have to release because they keep us in bondage and captivity.   Letting go is not always easy but sometimes letting go is necessary.

The big questions you have to answer are what is it that you are supposed to be letting go of and what it is that you are supposed to be holding on to?  You have to begin answering these questions by first answering another question and that is, what does the Word of God say?   The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians to prove all things and to hold on to that which is good.   It also says in Philippians to forget what is behind you and to press forward with God.   We have to know how to hold on to God and how not to let go of His unchanging hand.

Letting go is not easy and neither is putting your trust in the unknown but that is what faith is.   Trusting without seeing and it is believing without knowing.   You have to trust that God has a plan and you have to believe that He is at work in your life.

The main reason we hold on to people, places, and things is because we have allowed ourselves to become familiar with them.    In other words, it's known to you because it has been a part of what you do for so long but just because we are familiar with something doesn't mean it is good for our lives and we have to know how to release some things in our lives in order to gain what God has prepared for our lives.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Philippians 3:13-14

King James Version

Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.

How Are You Handling What God Has Given You? Life Is Full Of Choices.

How are you handling what God has given you?   He has given us His Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us in all truth.  Are you following the truth that He is revealing to you.    He has given us children for us to lead and guide in all truth.   Are you leading and guiding them in all truth?   Are you living your life in a way that leads your children and your grandchildren in truth?   He has honored His Word and has given us great and precious promises by meeting our needs, healing our bodies, and by opening up new doors.   How are you giving Him thanks for all that He has done and is doing in and through your life?   Are you using your life to glorify Him in all that you say and all that you do?

So often in life it is easy to mess up.   It is easy to be redirected according to the flesh but we have to learn how to die to the flesh.   We have to learn how to live our lives according to the Spirit and we need to know that if we do that we live in a way that glorifies God.

Remember life is full of choices and that includes God making choices.   He chose to send His Son to die on the cross so that we could live.   He chose each of us to be His vessels in the earth.   He is God.   He chose you and now the question is will He be your first choice?   How will you handle the life and the promises that He has given you?

Are You Creating An Atmosphere Of Life, Healing, Peace, and Deliverance By The Words That Come Forth Out Of Your Mouth?

Are you thinking your words are idle?   The word idle means pointless and of no affect?   UNDERSTAND, every word that you speak out of your mouth has within it power.   Remember, God spoke and creation came.  He created an atmosphere filled with life and hope.   What are you creating with the words that are coming out of your mouth?   Are you creating an atmosphere of life, healing, peace, and deliverance or are you speaking negative words and creating an atmosphere that is conducive to fear and death.   Words are powerful and the Bible says in Proverbs that life and death are in the power of the tongue.

We have to be the ones in the earth that speak life.    We have to speak life just as God spoke life by speaking His Word.   When we see sickness and disease in the earth, we need to be speaking the Word that says God is our Healer.   When we see lack, we need to be speaking that God knows what we have need of and He is faithful and just to supply.    When we see hatred, we need to be pleading the blood of Jesus over the land and speaking forth the fact that God is love and who and what He is will prevail.

The Bible talks about us giving an account for the words we speak.  We have to understand, every word we speak in private, God still hears.   He is omnipresent and there is nothing hidden from him.   We can't allow our words to be ruled by bitterness, hatred, or strife.   We can't allow our words to be ruled by what someone else said or what someone else did.   We need to always let our words that come forth out of our mouths to be motivated by the peace, power, and love of God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Matthew 12:37

King James Version

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

How Are You Handling The Confrontations and Disagreements That Come With Life?

Not everyone is going to agree.   How do you handle their disagreement?    What do you do when people go against what God has told you to do?   Do you continue to line up with God or do you change your order of operation in order to accommodate how someone else feels?   Your order of operation encompasses the rules you go by in life and the way you prioritize what you do.

When you think about a math equation and how you solve it, you can see that if you don't follow the established order of operation, you will get a different result.    God wants us to understand that if we follow Him and put Him first in everything that we do, we will always get His result.    We can't put people, places, and things in the place where only God should go.   He has to be first in all that we do and that includes our thought process before we even begin to act on what we think.

People thrive on acknowledgement and praise and we want to recognize people for the things they do but you shouldn't live your life trying to please and acknowledge people and never acknowledge who God is, what God has done, and what God will do.   God has to remain first in your thoughts and in your actions and when it comes to disagreements with people, always take God's side.   Understand, God's side may not be the popular side but it is the right side.    It may not be the side where you get the praise and accolades of people but it is the side where you walk in the blessings of God.    Confrontations and disagreements with come with man but nothing that man does should override your stand for God and how you live your life for Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Matthew 6:33

King James Version

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Are You Letting God and His Word Be The Major Influencers In Your Life?

What is it that you want or need God to do for you?   Are you trying to dictate the way you want it done?   We have to remember, God has a plan.   His thoughts are not always our thoughts and His ways are not always our ways.    We have to learn how to not only accept what God wants us to do, we have to learn how to do it the way He wants.

We will encounter many twists and turns on this road called life.  Sometimes things work out the way we thought they would or should and then there are times when nothing seems to go the way we thought they would or should have gone but it's okay when your faith, hope, and trust are all in God's plan.    We learn daily through our lives with God the fact that we don't have to be in control, we just need to learn how to surrender control to Him.

When you think about control, you understand it is the power to influence or to direct behavior.   We need to see and understand that behavior has an influencer.  Something or someone that inspires it or guides it.   What is inspiring your actions today?   What is leading you and guiding you to do what you do?   In other words, what is controlling your thoughts and ultimately influencing your actions?  Make sure that the primary influencers in your life is God and His Word.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 1:1-2

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.”

Are You At The Place Where Your Trust In God Is Overriding Your Fear?

What is it that God is telling you to do?   Are you doing it?   Are you stepping out on faith and leaving behind all the fear?    Are you trusting God to help you through the process so that you can live in His promise?

God is faithful.   He is not a man and He does not lie.   What He has promised, He will do.   What He has done, He will do again if necessary.     Make no mistake.  Again, He is not a man and He does not lie.    We have to get to the point where we let our obedience override our desires.  A place where we let our trust override our fears.    We have to put God in first place and leave Him there and truly believe that He has the final say.

Life can be challenging but understand, it's overcoming life's challenges that make you victorious.    God has called you to be victorious in Him.   One of attributes that you see in champions is they have an overcomer's mindset.   They believe that they can and will win and that is what you have to have also.   You have to settle it in your mind that you believe that you can and will win through Christ.

You have to believe and understand that when you are weak, you are still strong in God.   You have to believe and understand that the roadblocks that you cannot see ahead of you, God sees.   You have to trust and believe that God not only can do what you need, you have to believe that He will do it.   You have to trust in His faithfulness.

When Questions Arise In Life We Have To Remember That God Is The Answer and His Answer Is Found In His Word

Have you ever felt lost and all alone?   Have you ever felt as though no one cares about you or what you are going through?   Have you ever felt like what's the point of going on?  Have you ever felt confused about your life?   If so, I want you to know that you are not alone.   Questions arise in our lives but you have to know the answer to any confusion that you are feeling is God.   You have to make up in your mind that you are going to seek God and His righteousness so that you can know the right answers to the questions that come with life.

Understand, feeling alone doesn't mean you are alone.   God is always with you.   He has promised to never leave nor forsake you.   When you feel as though no one cares, you have to remember what the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7, where God tells you to cast your care on Him because He cares for you.    When you don't feel like going on, remember Phillipians 3:13 where it says to reach forward to the things in front of you.   When confusion comes, settle all the confusion in your life and know that God's Word is final.   God is not the author of confusion and you can rest in knowing where confusion abounds, God is not in it.

God's Word is true and He sent His Word to us for us.   We can rest in the truth of His Word.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Hebrews 4:9-11

King James Version

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God [did] from his.

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Are You Moving On or Are You Being Held Captive Mentally and Physically In Life? God Wants You To Move Forward With Him.

Are you moving on?   To move on means to go from where you are to a different place.   It means to leave somewhere especially because someone or something is causing obstruction.   Again, are you moving on?    We can choose whether we move on or whether we stay in a place where we are hurt, angry, stressed, and depressed.  Moving on doesn't mean that. you care less, it just means that you are refusing to let people, places, and thingS bind you up and hold you in captivity.

What does it mean to be captive?  It means to be imprisoned and to be confined.  When you are confined,  you are restricted and you are limited and you are unable to move forward in and with life.   Are you letting people, places, or things hold you captive mentally and/or physically in life? Don't let old habits, old friends, or  even family keep you from moving forward with God.   Know that you have been set free.   Jesus died so that you could live and you need to live the life that He died for you to have.

It's tome to move forward.   It's time to cast down any thoughts that have been hindering your belief system.   It's time to let go of any sin that has kept you from walking fully with God.   It's time to move away from the people, places, and things that keep you bound in your heart and your mind.   It's time to walk the path of love that has been paved by the blood of Jesus.   The time is now for you to move on.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

How Are You Handling The Pressures That Come With Life? Do You Understand The Enemy Is Not Going To Give Up Trying To Get You To Give Up?

How are you handling the pressures that come with life?   What are you doing when sickness comes your way?   What happens when you encounter lack?   What are you doing when you are faced with adversity?   How we handle the pressure is relative to where we are in and with God.    We have to be in a place where our trust is totally based upon God's ability to do what He said He would do.

As long as we are living in the earth, understand, pressures will come.   The enemy will not give up trying to get you to give up.   It is his desire to have you to make your residence with him and not with God.     You have to understand that life, as long as we live it here on earth, will always require us to make choices.

We can choose to trust God or we can choose to live in fear.   We can choose to tell the truth or we can choose to lie.   Understand, God is truth and the devil is the father of lies.    God has given us the ability to choose.   We get to choose what we believe and how we live.   We get to choose whether we believe God or not.

So as you think about the things that you are going through in life, choose to handle the pressures by casting the care of those things over on God.   By doing that you are no longer carrying the load and you are released from the pressure.    When sickness comes your way, speak healing to yourself.   Speak the Word that God has given you and remember God said that He is the One who forgives our iniquities and heals our diseases.   When you encounter lack, remember, the Father knows everything you have need of and He is faithful and just to supply your every need and when adversity comes, take a stand on God's Word and know that you are an overcomer.

Are You Holding On By Faith In God's Word When Everything In Life Seems To Be Going Contrary To What He Has Said? Is Your Faith Overriding Your Fear?

What are you holding on to when it seems as though everything is lost?   Are you holding on to God and His unchanging Word?   Are you holding on to at least "one" Word that He has spoken to you about your life?   The promise that God has given you that says He can and will do whatever it is you need.   There are times in our lives when we have to have a firm grip on what God has said and we must be determined to not quit, give up, or give in.   We have to make sure our faith is overriding our fear.

God is God all by Himself and His Word is true.    Out of God's mouth flows power and what He has said, He will do.   We just have to have faith in what He said to be true.   Our faith says we believe God.   We believe that He can and He will do what He said He would do.

What do you believe today?   Do you believe that God is a Waymaker?   Do you believe that He can and will make a way?   Do you believe that God is our Healer?  Do you believe that His Word of Healing and the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any disease that is coming against your body or this world?   Do you believe that He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider?   The One who not only knows our needs but the One who can and will meet our needs.

What you believe matters.   You can't hold on to what you don't truly believe.   So settle it today.   Settle it within your heart and mind that you are going to trust God through it all.   Strengthen yourself today.   Build yourself up on your most holy faith, study God's Word, and be determined to not lose grip on what God has already said to be true in you and for your life.

Are You Allowing Your Mistakes To Lead You Into Thinking You Are Less Than When God Has Made You More Than A Conqueror?

It would be nice to be right all the time.   It would be nice to know that you never miss the mark but that is not how life goes.    We miss it sometimes.    We are not always right and we have to admit the fact that we are human and sometimes fail.  What do you do when you miss the mark?

Do you live the lie as though you are perfect or do you admit when you are wrong and do what you can to get things right the next time?   We all make mistakes.  No one is perfect 100% of the time but you can't let your imperfections cause you to believe you are a failure.    God does not fail and neither does God make mistakes.  We have to accept our limitations and mistakes but we have to remember we are still in the race with God and we can still win as long as we are in it with Him.  Remember, we are more than conquerors through Christ.   God  knows what He is doing and  He knows what He needs to do in you, with you, and for you.  People may call you a failure but it's not what people think that matters, it is what God thinks and says about you.

Don't be misled into thinking that you are nothing and will never be nothing.   Also, don't be overconfident to the point that you become arrogant.   Know that God gave us a Comforter to lead us, to guide us, and to direct us in all truth.   His Word is truth and His Word has the final say.     So we must always seek God's truth in order to know what is right, pure, and true in our lives.    We must also always be humble.

How Are You Responding To Hate, Hurt, Pain, and Negativity? Is Your Response A Response Of Love?

How do you respond to hate?   How do you respond to hurt and to pain?   How do you respond to negativity?   How do YOU respond?   Sometimes it is easy to see the response of others but we need to be able to see our own response.

Do you respond to hate with love?   Do you respond to hurt and pain with love?   Do you respond to negativity with love?   Understand, no matter what situation we find ourselves in, our response should always be a love response.   We must always remember that God is love and He should be seen at the forefront of all we do and all we say.

This is where we have to make sure we are responding instead of reacting.    When someone or something hurts you, it's easy to react based on your own emotions but we have to get to a place where we respond based on God's Word.    Don't allow hatred, hurt, pain, or negativity to cause you to forget that You have been called by God to represent Him in the earth.   People look at you and they also look to you.    Your response carries an affect.   It helps other see through the lens of your life what it means to live for God despite the afflictions you encounter in the world because God sees and knows all the afflictions you go through and He hears your cry.

Are You Staying In Faith and Is Your Faith Staying In God?

Where is your faith?   Is it in God?   Is it in people?   Is it in yourself?    Are you standing and staying in faith no matter what life brings your way?   The thing about life is we never know the road it is going to take us and we have to be people of faith that believe that no matter which way life takes us, God is with us and He is working everything out together for our good and His glory.

We must be the ones whose faith remains secure in God.   When your faith is in what other people can do for you, you will be disappointed in people when they don't do what you want them to do.   When your faith is in what you can do for yourself, you will become disappointed in yourself when you are unable to complete the tasks that come with life alone.   We have to remember, God is all seeing, all knowing, and He can do whatever needs to be done in our lives.

Make sure you stay in faith and make sure your faith stays in God.   He will never leave you.   He will not forsake you.   He will watch over you, shield you, protect you, heal you, and provide for you.

Are You Going To God First So That He Can Not Only Help You Navigate Your Day, He Can Help You Navigate Your Life?

What is your objective today?   What is it that you are waking up saying that you want to do today?   Is your first objective to get before God?   To talk to Him and to let Him speak to you or is your mind cluttered with all the other stuff you feel you need to accomplish today?

Understand, God is essential.   He is our Leader and our Guide.   It is Him that will help us to accomplish everything else throughout the day.   So He needs to be first.   He needs to be the One that you go to for guidance, you ask for instructions, and you follow what He has told you to do.   However, if you never get before Him, it's like navigating the road of life alone.

Isn't it better to go on a journey with someone who knows the road and the path you are about to travel.   Someone who is strong enough to carry the baggage that is built up from your past and has become such a heavy load.   Someone who knows how to navigate you past the hindrances that come against your faith.   Someone who is a Doctor and the Healing that you need.   Someone who knows what you need and is the Resource you need.

The thing is, when you walk the journey called life with God.   Everything you need for the journey is with you because God is One thing we need in life.

Are You Choosing To Forgive Just As You Have Been Forgiven?

Are you allowing unforgiveness to dwell in you heart and to hinder your faith?   Unforgiveness is the act of not forgiving.   It's holding on to what was instead of allowing the love of God to help heal your heart.

No, it's not easy to forgive.   When someone has wronged you, hurt you, and continue to hurt you, it's hard to let it all go but God is our example.   Just as He forgives us for how we have wronged Him and misused the things that He has given us, including our mouths and our bodies, WE MUST FORGIVE OTHERS.    We have not always shown God respect and we have not always said and made the right choices concerning this life that He has so freely given us and yet He is merciful and He forgives us.

If God was not a forgiving God, there would be no mercy for us.   There would be no grace and there would be the absence of His unfailing love.    Everything that God is and everything that He does is based on His love and His forgiveness and He wants us to exhibit His characteristics in the earth.

We must understand that unforgiveness hinders our prayers.    Unforgiveness is based on a choice we make.   We choose to stay bitter and we choose to not forgive.   In some instances, unforgiveness is another form of hatred and it is the failure to have mercy on others just as God has been merciful to us.

TODAY we must choose to forgive!

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Matthew 18:23-35

King James Version

23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Are You Staying In Faith Even When Situations Come That Try To Interfere With You Receiving The Promise?

What do you do when your faith walk becomes hard?   When it seems like God is answering and it becomes hard for you to believe that the answer you need is going to come to pass?   What do you do?   Do you give up and quit?   Do you stop believing?   Do you trust God through the process?   Do you walk in the understanding that God's timing may not be according to your time clock?

Walking this journey with God does not mean that your life will be easy.   It doesn't mean that what you need is immediately going to come to pass.   We have to know how to not only walk in faith, we have to know how to stay in faith.   We have to be able to see beyond what we see.   In other words, we have to see beyond the things that are happening in the physical realm and be able to visualize by faith the promise that needs to move from the spiritual realm into the physical realm. The vehicle that moves the promises of God from the spiritual to the physical is our faith.

When times are hard, you still have to trust God.   You still have to believe His Word is true.   You have to know that situations that interfere with the promise coming to pass don't necessarily stop it from coming to pass although they may delay the manifestation of the promise.

REMEMBER, God is not a man.   He does not and cannot lie.  What He has said He will do, He will do.   He is not limited in power but He can be limited by your faith.

King James Version

Are You Living and Waiting In Hope and Expectation or Are You Living In Fear?

How are you waiting on God?   Are you waiting in fear or are you waiting in expectation?   Are you trusting and believing God will do what needs to be done or are you fearful that what you need won't come to pass?   We have to always remember that God is all-knowing and very capable of meeting our needs.   We have to remember that He can and He will honor His Word to us.

Sometimes people get to a point in life where they feel like all hope is lost.   They get to a place where they feel as though nothing is working out in their lives but we have to always remember that God said He would work everything together for our good.    So hope is never lost.   God is always able to work miracles.   There is nothing He cannot do.   Although some of the things He does we may not always fully understand and sometimes we feel as though God is late with the answer but in essence He is always on time.

Make it a point today to remain hopeful.   Make it a point to continue to keep your trust in God.   Make it a point to look past what you see in the natural and know that God is still able to work everything out for your good.   God is still able to do what only He can do.

Are You Exercising Your Faith So That When The Trials Of Life Come You Will Be Able To Stand?

What do you do when you feel like you have no hope?   Do you look to God?   Do you understand that your hope is in God?   So often people give up and they lose hope.   They stop trusting and stop believing in God and what God can do.   We have to understand, if we stop believing and trusting in what God can do, we don't have hope.   We become lost and we become confused because our hope has to be in God's ability and not our own.

Take time today to read God's Word and build yourself up.    The Bible says to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might and in order for us to be strong in faith, we must exercise our faith.   Exercise is an activity that is carried out in order to help improve or sustain something.   We have to become strong in faith so that we will be strong enough when the turmoils of life push against our faith to try to get us to fall or fail.

So today, REMEMBER to exercise your faith.   Trust God wholeheartedly.   Believe what He has said to be true and take a stand on it.   Don't be moved by the trials of life.   Let the trials help strengthen your faith and increase your stamina.   Increasing your stamina will enable you to stand during the storm so that you can eventually see the result of what you have been believing God for.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Ephesians 6:10-11

King James Version

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Where Are You Making Your Abode As You Walk Out This Journey Called Life?

Are you living under the curse or dwelling under the covenant and protection of the blood?   Understand a curse is spoken out of anger and annoyance, it is used to inflict punishment on someone or something.    There were people and things that God cursed in the beginning but Jesus came to rescue us from the death that comes with the curse by dying on the cross so that we could have eternal life.

When we look at the Bible we see that the serpent was cursed, Adam was cursed, Cain was cursed, and Eve was cursed.   They were all cursed because of their disobedience but Jesus came to reverse the curse.    He came to shed His blood so that we could live.    He came to be a light so that we could see the way we need to go.   He came to save us from our sins.   He came to deliver us from the curse of sin and death.

We have to decide where we are going to make our abode while we are walking out this journey called life in the earth.   An abode is a temporary place of residence.  Are  we going to abide under the shadow of the Almighty and live our lives in a way that is right in God's sight or are we going to abide in the world as we know it and live according to the worlds standards?

Where we choose to abide is up to us BUT UNDERSTAND, Jesus came so that we could live.   He came so that we would not have to live under the curse.   The blood of Jesus was shed and just as Abel's blood cried out to God from the earth, so does Jesus' blood cry out to God from the earth for us.    There is a covenant and protection that comes with the blood of Jesus.   We have to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.   We have to accept what He did for us, so that we can move from the place of living under the curse to the place of living under the promise.

Are You Allowing The Distractions That Come With Life To Shift How You See God's Ability To Move In Your Life?

What about today?   What will you do in and with this new day that God has given you?   Will you walk in faith or will you allow fear to overwhelm you?   Will you walk in obedience or will you allow your flesh to lead you?    Will you be strong in the Lord or will you be overtaken by weakness and become weary in all that you do?   How you handle today is up to you.

You may not be able to control all the trials and obstacles that come you way but you have to know that you have a Helper that is ready, willing, and well able to bring you through it all.   God is ready to lead you in the way that you should go.   He is an ever present help in the times of trouble.   He is your Healer and He will deliver you.  God knows everything you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.   You just have to believe and you have to trust that He will do it no matter what is coming your way.

Today is a new day but it is still a day that God has made.  God has not changed and neither has His ability to help you.   Stay focused on the Lord.  Don't allow the distractions that come with life to shift your perspective.   How you see things and how you see God does matter.   Do you see Him as your Comforter, Keeper, Protector, Provider, and Healer?  Understand, He is all that and more.

Are You Looking At The Situations In Your Life Through Eyes Of Faith Where You See God Moving On Your Behalf?

Have you ever been afraid to do something because it seemed so hard to do and once you started doing it, it was easier than you thought?  That is what we as people tend to do.   We look at situations and we gage them based on our experiences and what we see as our ability and determine whether or not we think we can accomplish the task set before us.   What we fail to do many times is factor in God's power and His ability to do what needs to be done.    When we factor in God's ability, we realize that there is nothing too hard for God.   So in essence, there is nothing too hard for us.

God is faithful and He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.   He is all-knowing and He is all-powerful.   He is Jehovah Jireh our Provider and He is Jehovah Rophe our Healer.   He is El Shaddai, the God Almighty and   He is Adonai, our Lord and Master.

When we look at situations that we encounter in life, we need to see them through eyes of faith.   Eyes that see God moving on our behalf.   Eyes that see Him and a heart that believes that He is  our provider, healer, and deliverer.   Not eyes that see just what we can do but eyes that see beyond the physical realm coupled with belief and trust in what God has already said He would do.  Fear will cancel out your faith but with faith you come to the realization that you can do all things through Christ.

When You Feel Lost and Alone and Don't Know What To Do, Are You Worrying or Are You Praying and Seeking God?

What do you do when you don't know what to do?   Which way do you go when you don't know which way to go?   When a person is traveling and gets lost, the first thing they should do is stop, get directions, and then proceed.   That's what we need to be doing when it comes to living our lives.

If you don't know what to do next, you should stop and seek God and ask God to lead, guide, and direct your path.    You have to ask Him to show you what to do next.  We have to remember that God has placed His Holy Spirit within us to help lead us into all truth and to show us the things to come.  What some people tend to do is keep going and they keep trying to figure it out on their own without seeking help from God.   They fail to ask the One who knows all, sees all, and can do all things.

We have to remember that we are traveling a journey call life.   We have to remember that God is our guide and His Word is our compass.   We have to remember that He is with us.   He hasn't left us to figure out everything all by ourselves.   However, He did tell us to seek Him and to ask of Him.   We have to make sure that we are doing just that.

Life is a journey!   God is our Guide!   His Word is our compass!

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

John 16:13

King James Version

13 Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

What Do You Do After You Have Prayed and It Seems Like Nothing Is Happening?

What is it that you have been asking God for?   What is it that you need Him to do?  What is it that is challenging your faith?    We have to understand that our answer is not always going to be immediate.   We have to believe and trust in the fact that God hears our prayers and He is faithful and just to meet our every need.

How often have you prayed and it seemed as though no matter how hard you prayed nothing is happening?   When it seems like you are praying and nothing seems to be happening, you have to stay at a place of faith.   A place where you are not focused in on what you see in the natural but instead you are focused in on who God is and what He said He would do.   Your focus must be in and remain in His Word even when it looks like what you need is not working out.

Faith and patience are both necessary in our walk with God.   We can't determine God's timeframe.    We just have to know that we know that He is a good good Father and He will do what only He can do in and through our lives.

Waiting on God is not always easy but it is always necessary.   We must remember that after we pray, we have to trust, believe, and wait on God to fulfill His promises according to His Word.   Remember, the Lord is good to those whose hope remains in Him.

Are You Trying To Deal With The Pain That Comes With Life Alone or Are You Letting God and His Word Help You?

Are you letting the pain of your past keep you from trusting and believing God now and for the future?   The one thing we know about pain is it can be so overwhelming that you cannot move.   It will put you in a place where you can't move forward, you can't move backwards, and you are just at a stand still.

Take a moment to think about physical pain after you have had surgery.   The pain can be so overwhelming that you can't move.   The doctor has to prescribe you pain medication to help you endure what your body is experiencing.   It is the same with mental and spiritual pain.   It will hinder and prevent you from growing and at that point you need the prescription of God's Word to help you cope with the pain and heal.

So often in life we try to deal with pain alone because we don't want to become addicted to pain medication and we don't want to ask others for help but the one thing we need to be addicted to in life that can help us cope with anything we encounter in life is God and His Word.   Not only will He take away the pain we are experiencing, He will also take away what caused the pain and bring total healing to our lives.

Now That God Has Brought You Here To This Point In Your Life, What Will You Choose To Do Next? Are You Asking Him To Lead, To Guide, and To Direct Your Footsteps?

What are you choosing to do?   Are you choosing to walk in faith or are you choosing to stay in fear?   Are you casting down the doubt and are you speaking the Word over your situation?   What is it that you are choosing to do?

The thing about choice is we all get to choose?   We can base our choices off of what someone else is doing or we can base them off what God has told us to do.   When we look for answers in our lives, we need to be looking to God.   We need to be calling on God.   We need to be led by God.   No decision should ever be taken lightly because whatever we decide to do lays the foundation for what we get to do next.

Life is full of choices and we have made many choices along the way.   Some of those choices may have been good and some of them may have been bad but either way the combination of your life's choices has brought you right here today.   It has brought you to the place of reading this blog post.

So what next?   What will you choose to do next.    Let me suggest that you take a moment to give God praise.   Thank Him for getting you to this point in your life and then ask Him what next?   Ask Him to lead you, guide you, and to direct your footsteps.   Ask Him to help you to make the right decisions for your life.   We need Him.   He is the only One that knows the beginning to the end and He wants you to know that He is with you on this journey called life and He wants to help you every step of the way.  He will not fail us, leave us, nor forsake us.

Deuteronomy 31:6

King James Version

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

What Bygone Are You Holding On To That You Should Be Saying "Bye Be Gone" To?

Are you willing to let bygones be bygones?   A bygone is something that happened previously.   It is something from the past.   Are you holding on to the things you should have said "bye and be gone" to?     We have to learn the art of release.

Releasing can be a very hard thing to do.   When you release something, you let it go.    You allow something or someone to escape from confinement.   Did you know that you can imprison people by your actions towards them?   What are you holding in confinement in your heart and in your mind that you need to let go of?   What thoughts are ruling, reigning, and dominating your thought process?   Your thought process is the way in which your mind works or should I say the way you think about a thing?    We have to know how to filter our thoughts through the filter of God's love and His forgiveness.    If you don't filter your thoughts through God's love and forgiveness, things will get through your mind, touch your heart, and come out of your mouth or out as actions that are not in alignment with God's Word, His will, or His way.

Learn how to say bye and be gone to things that have hurt you in the past.   Learn how to let the love of God rule and reign.   Think about God's love and forgiveness towards you as thoughts come into your mind about what others have done to you.   Remember how the power of the blood saved, cleansed, and forgave you and know that that same blood is a covering for others too.    Remember, the Word says for us to cast down every thought and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.   Knowledge tells us that we are to imitate who and what God is.   God is love and He is a God of forgiveness.   So when thoughts come up in our minds that don't reflect the love and the forgiveness of God towards others, we should be casting those thoughts down.

Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

What's Your Next Step? Your Next Step Determines The Direction Your Life Will Take.

What's your next step?   What is your next step going to be?   Is it going to be a step of faith or are you going to be walking in fear?   What you have to understand is, God is with you every step of the way.   You just have to trust that He is present even when you don't feel like He is.

Don't be moved by what you see.   Don't be moved by what people say.   Be moved by what God has already said.   He said that He would never leave you nor forsake you.   He said that He would watch over you and keep you.   He said that He would shield you and protect you.   He said that He would watch over His Word to perform it in Your life.   These are the words that you have to move forward based on.

God wants what is best for you.   He wants you to be a person of faith and not fear.   He wants you to be healed, set free, and delivered.   The questions now are, do you believe that He wants what is best for you and do you believe He will give it to you?

As you move forward with God, understand the importance of your next step.   Your next step will determine the direction you will go from this point forward.   Every step we take in life is important but let your next step be be a step of faith that leads and launches you into the great things that God has prepared for your life.

Are You Listening For The Still Small Voice Of God Even When The Voices and Sounds Of The World Get Really Loud In Your Life?

If you hear an alarm, what do you do?   An alarm is meant to alert you.   It is meant to notify you of something that is unusual, potentially dangerous, or difficult.    Do you ignore the alarm or do you at least check to see what is going on to cause the alarm to go off?  What about a siren?  What do you do when you hear a siren?   A siren is a prolonged sound that is used as a signal to warn you of potential danger.   What do you do when internal alarms and sirens begin to go off in your Spirit?   Do you heed the alarms, seek God's face, pray, and wait on God to show you what is wrong or do you ignore the warnings?

Sometimes so much can be going on around you and your heart and mind get so clouded with the voices and the sounds of the world that you can fail to heed the warning sounds of God.    Understand, God is always talking but we have to remember, He is the still small voice.   He doesn't try to shout over the the other voices that are talking to you.   Instead He wants you to be still and know that He is God.   He wants you to tune out the voices of the world and to tune into Him and His Word.   He wants your attention.

When you give God your attention, you take notice of Him.   You stop what you are doing and you focus in on Him.   You cast down every high thing that is trying to gain your attention by exalting itself against the knowledge of who God is and what God has said.   You focus in on God and you position yourself to hear clearly the internal alarms and sirens that God has placed in you.  Know that God's Holy Spirit dwells on the inside of you and it is meant to lead you, guide you, and to warn you while you walk out this journey called life.

Are You Letting Time To Be The Determining Factor As To Whether or Not You Are Going To Walk In Faith?

The Bible says that God knows the things we have need of and that He is faithful and just to provide us with those things.   Do you believe that?   Do you trust that God will do just that?   Understand, God wants to make a way for you and He will provide for you but you have to trust Him to do it.

Are you waiting on God or are you getting restless and fearful because of the length of time it is taking to see the promise come to pass.   We can't allow time to  be the determining factor as to whether or not we will will in faith.  If we knew what was going to happen and the timing of everything that will happen, there would be no need for faith.   God wants us to walk in and stay in faith.   He wants us to believe Him and to trust Him.   He wants us to look at our situations through spiritual eyes of faith and he wants us to stop depending on sense realm evidence because He has the power to override what we see in the natural.

Take time today to speak the Word of God over your life.   Take time to commune with God and to let God know that you trust and believe Him.   Take time to surrender every worry and every doubt to God.   As you wait for God, take time to pray and position yourself to receive the fullness of His promises in your life.

Are You Being Duped By The Devil or Are You Filtering Everything That Is Being Presented To You In Life Through Your Filter Of Faith In God?

Don't be fooled.   When you are fooled, you are tricked, you are deceived, you are duped.   In other words, you are a victim of deception.    Who wants to be a victim and who wants to be deceived?   The whole concept behind deception is to mislead us, hide the truth, and to promote a belief that is not true.   The easiest way to avoid deception is to know what is true and to use that truth as a standard for your life.    Once you settle what is true in your life, you have to refuse to be distracted or persuaded to believe anything different.

God's Word is the truth and we have to let His Word be the standard for our lives.    We have to stand on the Word of God and let what He has said be the final authority for your belief system.    The enemy's whole mode of operation is to promote disbelief.   By that I am saying the enemy wants you to not believe what God has told you.

If Adam and Eve would have just stuck with and stood on what God had said, sin would not have entered the earth but they were persuaded to believe something different than God's words.    Don't allow sin to enter into your life because you fail to believe what God has said.   Take God at His Word and let His Word work for you.   Don't be distracted and don't allow the enemy to camouflage a lie and present it as truth in your life.   Study God's Word and know what is truth so that every situation you are presented with in life will come through the filter of your faith in God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Galatians 6:7-8

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

What Do You Do When Things Get Hard and You Don't Understand? Are You Staying Anchored To God and His Word?

Have you ever been in that place where things just seem to get harder and harder?   The place where no matter what you do, it seems as though things are not working out for you.   The place where you seem to be consistently and continually asking God why, what's going on, and where is the answer you have been praying for?   Understand, THAT PLACE is a place of dependence on God.   It's still a place of security even though you may feel insecure.    It is secure because there is no better hope or anchor than God and His Word.

It is my prayer today that even in the hardest situations where you feel as though you are going to sink and fail that you realize that God's got you.    Think about Peter and how he walked on water.   Water is not a secure foundation but when you are in faith and your heart and mind are fixed on God and His ability, even the things that don't have the characteristics of being secure ARE SECURE IN GOD.

God said He will never leave you nor forsake you.   He said that He will watch over His Word to perform it in your life.   He said that He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to give you what you need.   God said His love for you is unending.  TRUST WHAT HE HAS SAID and REMEMBER WHAT HE HAS DONE.   Understand, He is not a man and He does not lie and  He is not a respecter of persons.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Hebrews 6:18-19
“That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;”

Pressing On and Into The Calling Of God For Your Life

Sometimes life can be hard.   You don't know which way to go or how to get there.   How to get to that special place that God has ordained for you to be.   The place of peace.   The place of power.   The place of strength.   The place where everything seems to be in place.   It may be hard to get to that place but you have to know that God has prepared that place for you.   It's not a figment of your imagination.   It's just a place where you may have to overcome many obstacles in your life to get there.

Today I want to encourage you to press on.   Not only press on, I want you to press in.   Press into the power of God.   Press into the gifts, the talents, and the abilities that God has placed on the inside of you.    Press into God's Word.   When you press into something, you have to use force.    It takes action on your part.   Don't let life keep you from pressing into the way, the will, and the Word of God.

I pray today that you see beyond where you are and recognize where God wants you to be.

Are You Reacting or Responding To The Situations In Your Life?

How do you respond to the actions and reactions of others?   When something or someone catches you off guard what do you do?   Do you stop, think about it, and let God tell you how to respond or do you just react in accordance to how your flesh is feeling?    We have to learn how to respond even when we feel like reacting.

To react means to act in a particular way as a direct result of something happening.   A reaction is usually quick and it is usually done without much thought.   Whereas, a response is thought out.   It is still a reply or answer to what has happened but it is one that has been thought out and it doesn’t have to be (all though it still can be) based on emotion.

We have to learn how to respond to not only people but to life and the situations that come up in life.   How are you responding to what we are going through in the world today?   Are you reacting emotionally and failing to respond spiritually?   Our spiritual response has to be based on God and His Word.    We have to know that God said that He will never leave us nor forsake us.   We have to know that He is watching over His Word to perform it in our lives.   We have to know that if we are born of God and have faith, we have the victory.    We have to know that it is the Lord God who is the Healer.

Understand, the first step to knowing how to respond in life is knowing what God has said about our lives.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
1 John 5:3-4
King James Version
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Are You Seeking Cleansing and Healing or Are You Seeking Wholeness In The Land? Make Sure You Are Giving God Thanks No Matter What Situation You Find Yourself In?

Have you given thanks?   A lot of people are asking God for things but how many of those people have given God thanks for anything?    Along with asking, we must give thanks.   No matter what situation we find ourselves in, we need to be thankful knowing that we are not alone because God is with us and He has promised to take care of us.

Have you thanked God for this new day?   This day filled with HIs mercy, love, and grace or are you stuck on telling Him what you need Him to do today without a heart filled with gratitude?   It’s easy to get stuck on the need because that is what rises up before you.  It’s in your face.   You see clearly see what you think you need but thanksgiving has to rise up “out” of you.   It has to press beyond what you see as a need so that you can give thanks for what you have and for what God has already done.

God is a good God.  He is loving, kind, and gracious.   He is merciful and He has extended His mercy to us over and over again.   Even when we didn’t deserve it, God was merciful to us.   God is giving and people lean on the graciousness of God.   He is all powerful and He is all knowing and He wants us to come to Him and to ask of Him but He also wants us to have a heart filled with gratitude and He wants us to give thanks.

So make it a point to not just ask God for things.    Make it a point to thank God for everything.   Give thanks in advance for what you need Him to do and after He has done it … GIVE THANKS AGAIN.   If you think about the story in Luke where Jesus “cleansed” the 10 lepers and only one came back and gave thanks and at the point Jesus said to him that his faith had made him whole.   Understand, with thanksgiving comes wholeness and that is what we need in the land today.   We need not only cleansing and healing, we need wholeness.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Luke 17:11-19
King James Version
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

What Will You Do After The Storm? Have You Learned How To Trust God No Matter What Is Happening In This World and In Your Life (that means good days and bad)?

Are you going back to what you know instead of utilizing what you have learned.   We have been living like we have never lived before and we have been calling on God more than we ever have before.   Will you continue?   When the world decides to go back to life as usual, what will you do?   Will you still call on and lean on God?   Will you come out of our current situation utilizing the knowledge that you have learned.   That knowledge being that we can do nothing and be nothing without God.   God is the source of life.   Jesus is our Savior.   Money can’t save us.   Jobs can’t save us.   All the doctors in the world can make us comfortable, but they can’t save us.   Life is full of lessons and one thing this pandemic has taught us is the importance of knowing God and knowing that there is life after death and we need to be living our lives here on earth in a way that secures how we will spend our eternal life.

God is a good God and He is faithful.   He wants us to love Him and to trust Him not just today but every day.   He wants us to live this life that He has given us for Him.   It is His desire that we be living epistles here on the earth.   Are you an open book that is filled with faith that is showing others how to trust God in the midst of the storms of life?   Are you speaking words of faith and allowing people to read your life in a way that teaches them how to live by faith?

We’ve gone through a lot in the world over the past few weeks.   Life has been shut down as we know it but now the world is ready to try to go back to life as usual.    For many that means the life and the lifestyle that does not trust or depend on God.   The life and the lifestyle that is dependent on mans way of doing things and ignoring God’s way of living.   We have to walk in wisdom.   We have to know the importance of being still and letting God be God.   We have to make sure we are following God and not man and we have to trust God to supply our every need even as this world’s economy opens back up.

So today I want to say to you to use wisdom and don’t ignore the signs God has put in place.   Follow God’s leading and not mans.   Make sure you are still talking to God, leaning on God, and trusting God with every aspect of your life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Matthew 8:23-27
King James Version

23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed Him.
24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but He was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to Him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And He saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
