What is controlling you? Are you being controlled from the inside out or the outside in? In other words, are the words that people are saying controlling your thoughts and actions or are you hearing what people are saying but still standing, staying, and trusting in the Word of God? I’m not saying that you should not listen to what is going on in the world. I’m saying that once you know what is going on in the world let the “Word” you know control your actions, reactions, and response to it.
We need to obey the laws of the land. So if we are being told to self-isolate, we should be self-isolating. Understand, even though you are self-isolating, you are still not alone. God is with you. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. We have to change our thinking about self-isolation. We need to see self-isolation as a divine opportunity to spend more time with God. A time to get our thoughts right and a time to pray for a change to take place in the earth. A change that not only encompasses the coronavirus but a change that will bring people closer to God. Self-isolation is an opportunity for you to commune with God. It’s an opportunity for you to have that time to worship, to pray, and to read God’s Word that you may have said in the past that you didn’t have time to do.
Understand today that knowledge is suppose to give us power. You can’t pray for what you do not know. We gain knowledge from various sources but understand power for change comes ONLY from God. Don’t let what you know cause you to walk in fear. Fear is not of God. Let faith arise and pray about what you know and expect God to bring about the change that is needed.
SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

King James Version
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
