Are You Walking In The Light Of God's Promises and Are You Remembering That Your Light Is Supposed To Shine Bright Enough So That Others Can Be Drawn Out Of Darkness?

Are you walking in the light?   Are you walking in the light of God's promises?   In a place where you can know and see that God's promises are true.   A place where the enemy can't catch you off guard.    A safe place.    A place full of light.   A place where the enemy is exposed.

Understand, what the enemy wants to do is to keep us in darkness.   He wants us to stay in a place where we don't know what God's Word says.   He doesn't want us to know the promises that God has already made to us.    He wants us in a place of hurt because He doesn't want us to be healed and the thing about walking in darkness, you can't see where you are going and it is a set-up for you to get hurt over and over again.

Understand, God does not want us living our lives in darkness.   He wants His light to shine bright through us and He wants His light to light up the path so that we can see the steps we are taking and the steps we need to take.   He wants us to shine bright for Him not only for ourselves but for those around us.   He wants us to pull others who are living in darkness out into the light of His Word.     So know the importance of living in the light of God's Word.   Know the importance of being a vessel through which God can shine His light.    The light of God that you walk in and carry is not just for you.   It's for those around you.   Some people have let their light grow dim and some people are in total darkness, so let your life shine bright enough to draw them to where God wants them to be.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Isaiah 49:9

Saying to those who are bound, ‘Go forth,’

To those who are in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’

Along the roads they will feed,

And their pasture will be on all bare heights.

Are You Trusting and Believing That God Will Also Do What You Need Done In Your Life and Not Just Others? God Wants Us To Not Only Stand In Agreement With Others, He Also Wants Us To Believe That He Will Move In Our Lives As Well.

What is it that you need God to do for you?   Do you need Him to heal you?   Do you need Him to deliver you?    Do you need for him to make a way for you?   Is it a bill that needs to be paid?   Is it shelter that needs to be provided?   What is it that you need?    Not your neighbor, not your friend, RIGHT NOW these questions are specifically for you?

Are you believing God for yourself or are you believing for others and not truly trusting that He will do the same for you?    If you are going to have faith for others, make sure you also have faith for yourself.   If you are going to trust God for others, make sure you are also trusting God for yourself.    When you tell others not to walk in fear, make sure you are not walking in fear.    When you tell others to believe that God can and will do what needs to be done, believe that He can and will do what needs to be done for you too.

God is not a man and He does not lie.    What He said He will do.   Yes, He wants us to pray for others but He also told us to lay "our" burdens down.   He told "us" to come to Him and to ask of Him.   He told "us" to trust Him and to believe Him.    Understand, God's Word and His promises are not just for other people, they are for you too.

Be humble as God does what He does for you and be humble in the waiting as well but don't ever let your humility cause you to say that you are okay when you really need God to move in your life.    God wants us to come humblyAND BOLDLY before His throne of grace and petition Him for what we have need of in life.     To be humble means that you are not arrogant or prideful.   It means that you show God respect.   Make sure that as you go boldly, you also go humbly and ask God for those things that you also have need of in life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Are You Trusting God About The Process, In The Process, and Through The Process?

Are you trusting God?    Is your faith, hope, and trust in God?    Are you making decision based on how you feel or on what God has said?    Are you being moved by your situation or are you waiting on God to tell you the next steps you need to take in life?

Life is not always easy and we are all going through a process but are we trusting God about the process, in the process, and through the process.   No matter what we are going through in life, we have to know that we have to trust God.   God knows what is unexpected to us.    He has already paved a road of deliverance for us.   He already has the provision we need.    He is prepared for what we are not prepared for.

Don't let trusting God be an issue you go through in your life.    There will be times when we won't understand the process.   Times where we talk to God and tell God that we don't know why we are going through what we are going through.   Times where we feel we have done everything right and yet we are still faced with a situation that proves to be a trial in our lives but it is at those times we still have to trust God about the process.   He knows what we do not know and He has promised to work everything together in our lives for our good and by doing that He will get the glory.

After you trust God about the process, you still have to trust God while you are in the process.   It can be hard trusting God when you are experiencing pressure on every side.   The questions about why you are going through are still going to try to enter your mind and you have to remind yourself that God said He would never leave you nor forsake you.   He said that He is your ever-present help in your times of need.   So you have to know that while you are in the middle of the process, God is with you.

Then you have to trust God through the process.   That's where your faith, hope, and trust work together.   As you are going through what you are going through, you have to stay in faith.   You have to have your hope and expectation in God, knowing that His promises are true.     You have to trust God to honor His Word in your life understanding that your trust in God is what is bringing you through all that you are going through in life.

What Are You Doing With God and For God? Are You Letting Him Know That You Know That Your Life Is Dependent On Him?

Every day God wants us to do something with Him and for Him.   What are you doing with God today?   What are you doing for God?   Also, what are you doing or giving to God?

Are you praying?   Do you understand that God wants us to be in constant communion with Him?    He wants us to talk to Him and to walk with Him.   He wants us to ask of Him.   That's what we are doing when we pray.   We are communing with God.   When we commune with God, an interchanging and exchanging of emotions, ideas, sentiments, and other information takes place.   Understand, God wants us to always wants to make an exchange.   He wants us to exchange what is worrying us for His peace that surpasses our understanding.   He wants us to exchange our brokenness for His wholeness and healing.

So often in life we try to carry our load alone.   We think that we are strong enough to bear the weight of our worries alone but that is not what God wants and it is not what He told us to do.   He told us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us.     He told us to pray.    He told us how to make the exchange but it is up to us to do it.

Not only does God want us to do something with Him, remember, He wants us to do something for Him and give something to Him.    So as you go about your day today, tell others about Him and give Him all the glory, honor, and praise.    Our lives belong to God but it is up to us to let Him know that we know that our lives are dependent on Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Philippians 4:6

Is Your Faith Optional or Are You Standing, Believing, and Trusting In God's Word?

What are the "ifs" and "buts" in your life?   What is it that you are constantly saying "if I had done this or if I had done that" about?    What is it that you are saying "but" about?   Are you saying God can do something "but" if he doesn't?   Are you counteracting your words of faith by interjecting them with the word "but"?

We have to speak words of faith and have faith in the words we say.    Don't use the word "if" when you are talking about what God can do.   As you make statements of faith, say "God can" and God will".   Not "if God can or if God will".   Have faith and confidence in what you say to and about God.

When you pray words of faith or make proclamations of faith, don't say "I trust God to do it but if he doesn't".      What you do when you do that is you make yourself options or should I say you are trying to give your faith options.    You have to live knowing God can, God will, and God shall honor His Word in your life.    You have to live knowing that He can make a way where there appears to be no way.   You have to live in constant expectation of Him doing what He said He would do.   You have to trust God completely even when things don't happen according to your timing or your plan.    Yes there will be times when things don't work out the way we wanted them to.   Yes situations will come that challenge your faith "but" don't start off your faith walk with "optional faith".    Optional faith is not saying that you fully expect God to move on your situation.    We have to always stand, believe, and trust in God's Word!

Are You Trusting God In All Situations and With All Situations?

Are you wavering when it comes to trusting God or are you trusting Him all the way through the process?    To trust means to have confidence and firm belief in someone or something.     Are you confident in the fact that God is who He said He is?   Do you believe that He is watching over you, shielding and protecting you, and ready to make a way for you?    Do you trust Him?

What we have to understand is we must trust God continually.    To do something continually means to do it regularly, repeatedly, without ceasing.   It means to do it non-stop.   We can't stop trusting God.   We can stop trusting people and we can stop putting our faith in things but we can never stop trusting God.

Commit yourself today to putting all of your trust in God.    Trust Him to heal you.   Trust Him to make a way for you.   Trust Him to open up new doors for you.   Trust Him to shield you and to protect you.   Trust Him to honor His Word in your life.   Trust Him to watch over, shield, and protect your friends and your family.   Trust God in all situations and with all situations.    Trust Him even when you don't understand all that is happening in your life.   Trust God!

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalms 9:10
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

Jeremiah 17:7-8
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Are You Willing To Let Go Of Some Things So That You Can Grab Hold Of The Things That God Says Are a Necessity For Your Life?

Are you ready to be all that God has called you to be?   Is there anything in your life that is keeping you from committing and going all the way with God?   Are you trusting Him completely or are you holding a little bit of your life in reserve just in case things don't work out the way "you" plan?    Is your life goal to be who and what God created you to be or are you wanting to do your own thing and only partially line up with what God has said in His Word?

We have to be fully committed.   We have to stay ready and willing to do what God has called us to do.   We have to go all the way with God.   We have to trust Him with our whole heart and life and not just parts of our hearts and lives.    We have to stay open to God's plan and we have to trust and believe that He knows what we need and He will give us what we need in life.   We have be willing to let go of some things so that we can grab hold of those things that God says are a necessity in our life.    Are you ready?   Are you willing?   Will you go all the way?

We have to understand that we were not placed in this earth to represent ourselves.    We have been placed here to be God's representatives in the earth.    We should not be seeking self gratification.    We should be giving God praise and showing our gratitude to Him for allowing us to represent Him in the earth and for making a way for us to have eternal life.   We can't be twisted to where we only see and do things the worlds way.   We have to always keep our eyes focused on God and see life through the lens of His love for us and for others.  Let's be who God created us to be and do what He called us to do in the earth.

What Are You Doing When You Don't Know What To Do? Are You Trusting God?

What are you doing when you don't know what to do?   Are you giving up?   Are you quitting?   Are you letting go or are you holding on to what God has promised He will do for you?    You have to know, trust, and believe that God's promises are true.   You have to see beyond your circumstance.   Seeing beyond our circumstances requires us to walk in faith.   It requires us to look and trust beyond what we see and how we feel.   It requires us to trust beyond our ability and to know that God is well able to do whatever needs to be done.

It's not always easy to put our trust in what we can't see, hear, feel, or touch but that is a requirement to walk in faith.   We are required to trust beyond our "natural senses".    The natural senses are dependent on the natural realm.    When we walk in faith, we are going beyond the natural realm and living in the supernatural.   God is a supernatural God and His power is supernatural.    When something is supernatural, it is unexplainable.    We can't always explain what God can and will do but we have to trust in His power to do it.

So when you don't know what to do, TRUST GOD.   Trust Him to do what only He can do.  Trust Him to make a way where there appears to be no way.   Trust Him to heal you.   Trust Him to pay every bill.   Trust Him to watch over you and your family.   Trust Him to open up new doors.   Be sure you are trusting God and not leaning to your own understanding.

Are You Uprooting The Very Thought Of Whatever It Is That Is Challenging Your Faith?

What is challenging you today?   What is challenging your walk of faith?   What is trying to keep you from being confident in what God has said He would do?   What is it that is bringing up doubt in your mind?   Are you being overcome by the situations and the circumstances that the enemy is trying to use to try to get you off of your walk of faith?    Are you allowing the enemy to push you off the track of faith that leads you to where God wants you to be?

We have to always remember there is a root and there is a cause.   What is the root cause of you not staying in faith?   Do you trust God completely?   Have you allowed someone else's words of doubt cause you to walk in doubt?   Is it the delay in the time that is taking for you to see the manifestation of God's promises in your life that is causing you to wonder if God will truly do what He said He would do?   What is it?   Whatever it is, you need to uproot the very thought of it, bind it up, and cast it out.   Speak life over your situation and declare and decree that God will do what He has promised to do in you, for you, and through you.

Understand, a challenge is a call to engage in a contest, competition, or a fight.   In a contest, competition, and a fight someone wins BUT UNDERSTAND, you have already been declared the winner.   Your fight that you must fight is the fight of faith.   The fight that says you know that God has already said you are the winner and you believe you win.    The fight that says you have fought a good fight, finished the course,  and kept the faith.    That's your fight of faith.   That's the competition you are in.   You are constantly fighting to continuously trust and believe God will do what He said He would do.

What Is The Guiding Force Of The Light Of Your Life Leading Others To Do?

Do you truly understand the power of spirits?   Do you know what it means to be in spiritual warfare?   Do you know that we are in a war and that war is not against flesh and blood?    Do you understand that we have the power to strengthen the power of God in the earth and we also have the power to strengthen the power of the enemy in the earth?   It's all in who and what we support and serve.

What spirit are you serving and supporting today?   Is it God or is it the spirit of the world?   Are you promoting God and holiness or are you promoting the devil, fear, and evil?    When people see you today, are they going to see the power of God resting upon you and will they hear the power of His Word flowing from you or are they going to see you looking like the world and doing what the world is doing?    Will you be promoting God and holiness or will you be promoting fear and the evil tendencies of the world?   You can either be God's billboard in the world or you can be the devils.   Remember, you are a living epistle.   In other words, your life is an open book that others are reading.  They are getting guidance and direction from the actions of your life.  What story is your life telling?

Is your life saying that it's okay to do what the world is doing or is it saying to others to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might?   Is it saying stand out from among the crowd and go full speed ahead with God?   Is it saying don't do that and don't participate in that because it is not of God?  What direction are people inclined to go if they are following you?   Will you lead them to God or will you lead them into a ditch?    The thing about a ditch is that it is sometimes hard to get out of it.   You can get out of it but sometimes it is hard to pull yourself out of a ditch.  So don't be the guiding force that leads others into positions that it is hard for them to get out of.   Be the helper.   Be the one who is helping to strengthen others so that they can pull themselves up and out of the ditches that life has pushed them into.

Taking A Moment and Looking At What It Truly Means To Be Rooted and Grounded In God, His Word, and Love. (Remember, He and His Word Are One and He Is Love)

What is it that is pulling at your heartstrings today?  Ask yourself is it from God and is it of God.    There are so many situations that we encounter in life that pull and tug on us but we have to make sure that the things that are motivating and moving us in life are from and of God.   We can easily be pulled in the wrong direction if we are not rooted and grounded in what we say we believe.

Understand, not only does God's Word need to planted in our hearts, we need to be planted in God's Word.    We need to be rooted and grounded in the Word and the Word needs to be rooted and grounded in us.    When something is rooted, it is firmly planted and has taken root.   It is fixed in one position and unable to move.

There are several definitions for the word grounded that relate to our walk of faith.   One means to be mentally and emotionally stable.   Another means to be restricted and confined to home.   Being restricted to the things of God and being confined to operating like God wants you to operate is what "holiness" is all about.   So being grounded to and with God is not a punishment it is actually a privilege.    Another definition of grounded deals with electrical grounding.   When an appliance is grounded, it gives a backup pathway that gives an alternative way for the current to flow back to the ground if there is fault in the wiring.    So if you are grounded in God, there is always a backup pathway to get you back to God if something goes wrong.   That backup pathway is called repentance and forgiveness.

The Bible talks about us being "rooted and grounded" in love.   Remember, God is love!  So we must be rooted and grounded in Him.

Ephesians 3:17

Let's Be Intentional About Trusting, Seeking, and Waiting On God

Are you trusting God to do it?   Whatever it is that you have need of in your life right now, ARE YOU TRUSTING GOD TO DO IT?   Are you trusting Him to bring His promises to pass in your life?    Are you trusting Him to meet the need you have right now in your life?   ARE YOU TRUSTING HIM?

We say we trust Him.   We say we are willing to wait on Him BUT THE QUESTION IS ... are you truly trusting Him?    Is there any doubt in your mind that God can and will do what He said He would do?   If there is, learn how to cast down every thought that rises up against the knowledge of God.   Any thought that is coming against what God has said that He can and will do needs to be cast down.   You have to remember you are in control.   Don't allow your thoughts to get out of control to the point that they become wayward.    The word wayward means difficult or impossible to manage.   It means when something goes in a way it is not intended or desired.    Keep control of your thoughts.   Manage what you meditate on and think about.  You can do that.   You have the power of God working on the inside of you and you can control your thoughts.

Today is a new day and today is a good day to TRUST GOD.   This is the day that God has made so let's intentionally be glad and rejoice in it.    Let's intentionally put our trust in Him.   Let's intentionally seek Him with our whole heart.   Let's intentionally wait on Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

What Are You Doing While You Are Waiting On God To Move In Your Life?

Are you praying and staying in faith?   How often do we pray and then fail to stay in faith?   How often do we give up when we don't see what we have asked God for come to pass in our timeframe?    We have to remember that our timing is not God's timing and God's timing is what is best.

The big thing about life is that we do not know what our future holds but God does.    He knows the beginning to the end.   He know what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen.   Nothing catches God by surprise.     We have to trust Him.  We have to remember that our faith is in Him and He can do all things.

It can be hard waiting on God to move and yet that is exactly what He told us to do.    While we are waiting, He told us to be strong in Him and to be courageous.   He told us to trust Him and to lean not to our own understanding.   He told us to acknowledge Him in all our ways and He told us to be patient.    None of this is easy to do but we have to remember we are not doing it alone because God said that He is with us always.   So He is with us to help us to do all of these things as we wait patiently on Him.

Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal.

Have You Surrendered Your All To God or Are You Holding Parts Of Your Life In Reserve?

What are you going to do today?   How are you going to live life now?   At this moment and at this present time, what will you do with your life?   Will you surrender it to God or will you go about living in the moment and doing any and everything that your flesh desires to do?   At some point we need to surrender in totality to God.   At some point we need to give Him our all.

We have to understand what it means to give God our all?    It means to cast your cares on Him.   It means to surrender your life to Him.   It means to trust Him completely and to worship Him fully.    Have you given God your all or are you holding parts of your life in reserve?    Are you afraid to let go because when you let go you admit that you are not the one who is in control?

Understand, God is asking each of us to surrender.  He is not asking one person to surrender and not another.   Our points of surrender may be different but we all must surrender to God and ask God to lead, to guide, and to direct our lives.    So let's make today and every day about God.   Let's wake up with the intent of surrender.   When you intend to do something it means you aim at purpose.   In other words, you have something you are aiming at and what you are aiming at has a purpose.

Be determined to live life God's way.   After all our lives belong to Him.   He is the very air that we breathe.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Romans 12:1

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

How Are You Handling The Situations In Your Life? Are You Carrying Around The Weight Of Worry?

How are you handling the situations that are going on in your life?   Are you casting the care of them onto God or are you carrying around the weight of worry?   God does not want you worried.   He wants your full faith to be in Him.   He wants you to trust Him to do what He said He would do.   He wants you to stay in faith knowing that He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.

God said in His Word to trust Him and to lean not to our own understanding.   He said to acknowledge Him in "all" our ways and He will direct our path.    We have to trust in, depend on, and do what God has told us to do.    God doesn't want us to be weary in our well doing.   It is His desire to honor His Word in our lives but it is our obedience to His Word that will allow the release of His blessings to come forth.

No matter what it is that you are facing in life, remember, God can and will take care of you.   Remember, God is not a man and He does not lie.   He will honor His Word but you have to have faith in His Word and you must wait on His timing.   God is never late.   He is always on time.   We just have to remember, no matter what the circumstances are, He is working everything in our lives together for our good and His glory.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Are You Limiting God's Work In Your Life By Your Failure To Trust and Truly Believe That He Can and Will Do Whatever Needs To Be Done In Your Life?

What is it that you need for God to do for you?    Do you need a financial breakthrough?   Do you need Him to open up new doors?   Do you need healing in your body?   Do you need peace from the storms that come with life?   What is it?   What is it that you need?

Understand, God's ears are open to our cry.   He is faithful and He is just to bring about the breakthrough that we need right here and right now.   He can and He will do it.   Do you trust Him or do you live in the fear of "what if"?    What if it doesn't happen when you think it needs to happen?   What if things don't work out the way you plan or think they should?   What if?

No matter what it is you are in need of in life, you have to live in the knowing that "God can and God will".   Even when things are not working out according to your plan, you have to know that nothing is too hard for God.   You have to know that God will change your natural circumstance with His supernatural power.   You have to know and trust that He is working everything in your life together for your good and His glory.

Never forget that God is our source and He is our resource.    Always remember, He can make a way even when we can't see the way.    God's power is only limited by our faith.    Do you believe that He can and will do what He said He would do in, for, and through you and your life.    Remember what the angel told Mary ... "be it unto you according to your faith".

Are The People, Places, and Things In Your Life Bringing You Closer To God or Driving A Wedge Between You and God?

Are there people, places, and things in your life that are changing you?  Are they changing you for the good or the bad?   Are they bringing you closer to God or driving a wedge between you and God?    What is it you want from God?    Do you want to be closer to Him?   Do you want Him to bless your life beyond measure?   Do you want Him to open up new doors for you, in you, and through you?   If you want God to do all that, why would you let anyone or anything pull you away from Him.

Are you walking in the truth and living in the truth of God's Word?   Do people know from your walk and your talk that you are God's representative here on earth?   Are you hiding who God is to you and in you or are you letting who and what He is be displayed through you?    There is a difference in knowing God and knowing of God.   When you know God, you know that there is nothing or no one more important than Him.   You realize that without Him there is no life and there is no love.   God is love.   He is the very essence and breadth of life and you know that there is nothing you can do or accomplish in earth without Him.   You know and realize that He is ready, willing, and able to take care of you and all that concerns you in life.  You realize the fact that knowing Him ignites your love for Him and it enables you to receive His love for you.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

1 John 5:3-5

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

You Have Been Given The Victory. Now The Question Is ... Is Your Faith Triumphing Your Fear?

Are you speaking out loud for God or are you sitting on His Word?   Are you afraid of what others will say to you or about you when it comes to your confession of faith?    Understand, your faith has to triumph your fear.   The word triumph means to obtain a victory as if by military force.    When you call the military into a situation, it means there is either a life threatening situation or some type of natural disaster.      Understand, God wants us to use His Word just like we use military force in the earth.   He wants us to speak His Word over those situations that threaten us in life.   He wants us to use His Word to rebuild those areas in which the enemy has torn us down and caused us to feel as though we can't and won't make it.

Don't sit on the Word you know.   Understand, God has prepared you for such a time as this.   If the only Word you know is the name of Jesus, understand there is power in the name.   Just speak the name.   Call on the name.   Trust in the name.

God is ready to use your life.   He wants you to be a beacon for Him.   Shine bright in the midst of darkness.   Hold tight to God's promises.    Walk in great expectation trusting God to fulfill His promises to and in you!

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

When The Enemy Comes In Like A Flood, Remember, God Is Fighting For You

Do you believe and trust in what God has said?    When He said that He is with you always.   Do you believe that?   Do you truly believe that God will never leave you nor forsake you?   Do you believe that He is watching over His Word to perform it in your life.    What do you do when the attacks of the enemy pour into your life like a flood.   Do you stand still and let God be God?   Do you believe that He will raise up a standard against the enemy and do you believe that you will win no matter what?

What you believe does matter.   You have to know God, trust God, and believe God.   If you don't know something, how can you believe it?   If you don't believe something, how can you have trust and faith in it?

Take time today.   Take time to spend time with the Father.   Take time to read His Word and to learn about His attributes.   Take time to understand what He thinks about you.   As you do, you will grow stronger in your faith.   You will gain stamina and be able to stand against the fiery attacks of the enemy.   Remember, the devil will use any willing vessel.   So don't be surprised where the attacks against your life and livelihood come from and remember, God is fighting for you.   So be still and know that He is God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Exodus 14:13-14

“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

What Are You Allowing To Push You and Pull You In Life?

What are you allowing in your life that is pulling and/or pushing you away from God?   Are you allowing people and their opinions to pull or push you away from God?   Are you allowing their words to overrule your testimony.    After you have seen God move for you, in you, and through you, are you still allowing people to push you off of the Word you know?

It's easy to get caught up in the world and the world's way of doing things but you have remember what God has said.   He said to trust in Him and to lean not to your own understanding.   He said to acknowledge Him in all your ways.   He said to follow Him.   So whatever is appealing to your life that is out of alignment with God and eternal life, you need to let it go.   You need to not follow after it.   You have been called by God and with that calling God wants you to be an example for others in the earth.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Jeremiah 10:23

O LORD, I know that the way of man [is] not in himself: [it is] not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Standing Sure On Your Foundation Of Faith Despite The Challenges That Come With Life

What are you allowing to get to you in life?    Are you letting things get to you mentally, physically, and spiritually?    Are those things pushing you off track?   God wants to be your defense.   He wants to be the One you run to.   He wants to be the One in whom you put your trust.    He wants you to want His peace that surpasses all of your understanding.

Understand, the Word is meant to be your defense in times of trouble.   It's meant to be your support.   It should be what you stand on and trust in when you are faced with difficult situations in your life.     When you have a word from God, it should be what you look to and it should be an avenue of hope for you.   The word of God should always prove to be your sure foundation.

Make up your mind right now that your hope, trust, and belief will always remain in what God has said and not what you feel.     Make up your mind right now that God's Word will always override mans words.    Settle it mentally so that when situations occur that challenge your faith, your faith will not fluctuate.   You will be able to stand sure on the foundation of God's Word no matter what is trying to get to you in life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

2 Timothy 2:19

19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Are You Obeying God Even When You Don't Understand The Fullness Of What He Is Telling You To Do?

Have you ever been at a place in your life where you knew that God wanted you to do a certain thing but didn't know the reason why He wanted you to do it?   It is at those points in life that you have to have faith.   You have to walk in willingness and obedience.   Sometimes God will lead you and guide you in ways you that you don't completely understand at the time but you have to trust Him to reveal to you the reasons later.

Today is a new day and we don't know the answer to every question we have in life but God does.   Let's be committed today to put our faith, hope, and trust in God.   Let's commit to allowing Him to lead us in the way that we should go.   Let's keep the eyes of our hearts open so that we can see and understand all that He is trying to do for us and through us.    Let's keep our ears open so that we can hear the voice of His command and not follow the voice of someone who is stranger to God.   When someone is a stranger to God, they are unaccustomed and unacquainted with His ways.

We have to know God and trust Him completely.    Although situations may appear to be hard for us,  we have to trust in the fact that God always has a plan.    Make today and every day about trusting in the Lord.   Make it about listening to Him and obeying the voice of His command.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Do You Believe and Are You Expecting God To Show Forth Miracles, Signs, and Wonders In Your Life?

Miracles ... Signs ... and Wonders.   What is a miracle to you?   Understand,  a miracle can't be explained by the acts of nature and it can only be claimed as an act of God.   So often in life we pray for miracles.   We pray that God divinely intervenes.   We pray for a divine outcome and we pray for supernatural breakthroughs.

God wants us to experience the miraculous.   He wants us to recognize His signs and His wonders.   He wants us to know that there is nothing too hard for Him to do for us, in us, or through us but we have to have faith.   We have to believe that God can and will do the miraculous in our lives.   We have to move from a mindset of defeat and believe for the impossible.

God is God all by Himself.  He sees us, He knows us, and He is well able to provide whatever we need.   God doesn't have to prove Himself but He does.   He opens up doors that have been closed.   He heal our sickness.   He provides when we don't know where the provision is coming from.  He gives us peace in the midst of the storms that come with life.

If you need God to perform a miracle in your life, STAY IN FAITH.   Stay tuned in to His voice.   Listen to obey and expect Him to honor His Word in your life.   Follow the signs of God.  Signs are meant to give you direction.   Let the signs of God lead and guide your faith until you experience the miracles of God in operation.

Are You Reminding Yourself About What God Has Done So That You Can Strengthen Your Faith For What You Need Him To Do?

Do you remember when God brought you out before?   When He healed you and delivered you?   Do you remember how you didn't know the way but He made the way?   If you remember that, then know this ... what God has done before He will do again, if necessary.   Remember that God changes not.   Remember that His plan is forever.   He didn't half-way make a plan for your life.    He doesn't half-way do anything.   You just can't see the fullness of what He has already prepared for your life.   You just have to trust Him.

Sometimes life gets hard.   Sometimes we don't know the way we should go.   Sometimes it gets confusing when you know that God is in control but you still feel like your life is out of control.    It's at those times you have to learn how to stay in faith.   You have to learn how to trust God in spite of.   In spite of what you see and in spite of what you feel.   You have to learn how to rest in Him and you have to remind yourself that God is the fighting for you and the victory has already been won and you have already been declared the victor.

God knows what you are going through and He knows how to get you to where He wants you to be in life.         Remember to remind yourself what God has done and what He has promised to do in and for you.

Asking God To Help Us To Make The Right Choices In Life

What seems simple can sometimes prove to be very hard.   Life is not always easy.   It's not always easy to make the "right" choice because making the right choice will always cost you something.    Making the right choice will put a demand on your flesh.    It will remain that you lean not to your own understanding and it will require you to acknowledge God in all your ways so that He can lead your path.      Making the right choice is not easy.

What do you do when you are faced with choices in life?   Do you make choices based on how easy it is?    Do you make choices based on what others want you to do or do you make choices based on what God said for you to do?    The outcome of everything that we have in life is based on a choice we make in life.

Remember, God's Word tells us to choose who and what we will serve.   We have to remember that our heart deviseth a way but we have to allow God and His Word to lead us in the way that we should go.     We have to follow those things that are true, right, and honest and bind up and cast down our desire for the things that are not.   We have to also remember that God is with us and He will strengthen us and help us to make the right choices if we ask Him to.    God didn't leave us alone to choose.   He said that He is with us always.   He said that He will help us  in any way that we need Him to.   Understand, any way means He will help us to make the right decision in life too.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.

When You Go To Work Each Day You Control Your Flesh and Tell It What It Will Do. Are You Doing The Same When It Comes To The Things Of God?

What is it that God has called you to do?   Are you doing it or are you avoiding it?   Are you telling others the Good News or are you allowing others to be infiltrated by the news that the world is telling?   Are you being a candle for the Lord or are you allowing your light to be blown out by the way you act in life?

We have to know who we are called to be and we have to be who and what God has called us to be.   We have to understand that our blessings are connected to our obedience.   God said if we are willing and obedient we shall eat the good of the land.   He said that we are to trust and to obey.    He wants us to keep His commandments and His statutes for this is one way that we show that we love Him.

Trusting God is not easy but yet God said if we trust Him and obey Him, He will be our God.    If we as employees can be obedient to our employer by taking control of the flesh, by getting up out of bed, by getting to work on time, and fulfilling the tasks that they ask of us without murmuring and complaining, how much more should we be able to take control of our flesh, get up and give time to God, and do the things He asks of us.   After all, He is the giver of life and every good thing that comes with life (even our jobs).

It's time to take God at His Word and walk in obedience to that Word.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Jeremiah 42:6

Whether it is pleasant or unpleasant, we will listen to the voice of the Lord our God to whom we are sending you, so that it may go well with us when we listen to the voice of the Lord our God.”

Are You Walking In Intermittent Faith or Do You Believe and Trust God No Matter What?

Do you feel as though you have been doing everything right?   Do you feel like you have prayed, you have tithed, you have served, and yet you are not experiencing the breakthrough you thought you would have by now?    You have to know that after you have done all of that, you still have to wait and maintain your faith in God.    You still have to trust Him to do what He said He would do.   No matter what is going on in your life, God wants you to believe Him and to trust Him to take care of you.

You have to know that trust is continual or should I say continuous.   When something is continuous, there are no intermissions.   So often in our faith walk we walk in intermittent faith.   Where we start off believing and trusting God and then we stop believing and trusting God because it's not happening fast enough and then we go back to saying we believe and trust God.   WE HAVE TO HAVE CONTINUOUS FAITH AND TRUST IN GOD!  Our faith can not just be heard in our words, it has to be seen in our actions too.

Do you trust God and His Word?   If your answer is yes, believe Him when He says He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.   Believe Him when He says that He is the Lord God that heals.   Believe that He will open up the window of heaven and to pour you out a blessing.   Believe that He will maintain everything that He has given you.   Believe Him and trust Him to do whatever needs to be done in your life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Are You Allowing The Situations In Your Life To Push You To The Point That You Fail To Stay On The Right Path For Your Life?

The devil wants to stop you. That is his sole purpose. He wants to interrupt God's plan for your life. Will you let him? Will you follow him or will you follow God? Understand, your can't go left, right, and forward at the same time. You have to choose which direction you are going to go. Will you choose to go forward with God or will you choose to go astray. When you go astray, you are choosing to go away from the correct path or direction.

You may be saying, how do you know which way is right and the answer is simple. God's way is the right way. His path is the righteous path. He said that He would make known to us the path of life. He said that the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn. So there is light for us to see on the path that is right for us to walk on in life.

Understand, situations will come up in life that are meant to push you down and to push you off track but you must remain steadfast and unmovable. You must always remember that the direction you must go in is the direction that is led by God and His Word.

Are You Allowing Your Current Situation To Steal Your Faith and Cause You To Walk In Fear?

What is it that you need God to do for you today?   Have you went to Him and asked Him for help?   Do you have faith and trust in Him and His Word?   Do you believe that He will do what He said He would do?

So often in life we dwell on what we are going through and we do not put our focus on the one who can bring us through.   We have to learn how to keep our hearts and minds stayed on God.   We have to learn how to acknowledge Him not matter which way our lives seem to be going.  We have to stay focused on what He said in His Word and we have to have faith and trust in that Word.    If God said He would heal us (which He did), we have to believe that He will.   If God said that He would provide for us (which He did), we have to trust that He will bring forth whatever it is we have need of.    We have to take God at His Word.

We have to stop allowing our current situation or circumstance to steal our faith.   We have to remain faithful or should I say full of faith.   We have to learn how to patiently wait on the Lord and we have to truly believe that God is working everything in our lives together for our good and His glory.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Are You Still Serious About The Things Of God Even In The Midst Of A Pandemic?

What happens when you don't do what you know to do?   What happens when you don't pray?   What happens when you disobey God's Word?   What happens?   Sometimes you can see periodic blessings but they won't be the consistent continual blessings of God that you could and should have upon your life.   God said in His Word to be willing and obedient and YOU SHALL eat the good of the land.

It's time to be serious about the things of God.   It's time to do ALL that He has called you to do.   It's time to sacrifice your time for God.    Prior to Covid, everyone used to sacrifice Sunday morning to go to the church building and to spend time worshipping, praising, and listening to a sermon about God, His plan, and His purpose in the earth.   That was prior to Covid.   Some churches are still having in-person services but it is limited.    Now with Covid, some are still going to the church building and some are watching online but what else are you doing for God?   Have you come to the realization that you are God's tabernacle?   How are you allowing God to use your life for His purpose so that He can get the glory out of your life?

Yes, it is hard to do a lot of physical outreaches and things of that nature during this time.   But are you taking time to use the outlets you have to still lift up His name?   Are you posting the Word on your social media in order to encourage others that may be struggling with life?  Are you picking up the phone and talking to family and friends and encouraging them to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might?   On the occasions when you do get out, are you allowing your voice to be used for God's purpose or are you murmuring and complaining about everything that is wrong in the world?   We have to know that even in the midst of this pandemic, we can still pray and encourage others.   We can still give and help others.   We can still be the light that God has called us to be in this world that is filled with so much darkness.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

1 Peter 2:9

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light;

Where Is Your Trust? Is It In What You Can Do or Is It In God?

Where is your trust?   Is your trust in what you can do or is it in God?    God sees all, He knows all, and He can do all things.   We can't.    We can't see the future and we don't know what will happen next in our lives.    So our trust should not be in our own ability.   It should be in God's ability and His Word.

God has told us in His Word not only what He can do but He has told us what He will do if we keep our faith in Him.   He has said that He will watch over His Word to perform it in our lives.    His faithfulness is seen throughout the Bible and we have to rest in the fact that He changes not.   If He took care of His children in biblical days, we have to know that He will take care of us now.

As you go through your day today remember, God is trustworthy.    He is worthy of our trust.   Not only is He trustworthy, He is faithful, just, and kind.    He loves us and He sacrificed His Son for us.    His love for us is real and He will honor His Word in our lives.

Are You Resting In God and Expecting Him To Move On Your Behalf?

There may be times in your life when you feel helpless and you feel hopeless.   What do you do when you encounter those times?   Do you run to God or do you run from God?   Running to God will give you strength and running from God will cause you to become weaker because at that point you are trying to do everything in your own strength.

Jesus said in the New Testament to come to Him.   All that are weary and heavy laden, He has told to come so that He can give them rest.    We have to know how to go to God and we have to be ready and willing to lay our burdens down.

Understand, helplessness and hopelessness is not of God.   He is our help and our hope is in Him.    He is our strong tower.   He is not only our source, He is our resource.   Everything we need is found in God so when we have a need we should be running to Him and we have to trust what His Word says when He says He knows the things we have need of and He is faithful and just to provide us with those things.

Trust God to do what only He can do.   Rest in Him and expect Him to move on your behalf.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.

Are You Looking At Life From A Low Point Of View or From God's Point Of View?

What is your view point?   In other words, what is the point of reference you are viewing your situation from?    Are you viewing your need for healing from God's point of view?  God not only sees you as healed, He told you in His Word that He is the Lord God that heals you.    What about lack?    Are you looking from God's point of view and basing your belief on what He said?    He is the All-Sufficient God! He is more than enough and He said that He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to supply you with those things.

So often in life we see our lives from a low point of view.   We look at situations from our downward fall instead of rising up with God and seeing ourselves as He sees us.   It's time to stop having a low point of view.   It's time to see what God sees and it's time to say what God has said.   It's time to rise up and to let God be our point of reference.

A point of reference is a benchmark.   It is used to help you judge and to understand situations.    If we use God and His Word as our point of reference, we will begin to see our situations from His point of view and we will begin to understand that our tests will soon be our testimonies and it is with our testimony we are well able to help others on this journey called life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Are You Allowing Your Heart and Mind To Be Troubled or Are You Casting Your Cares and Fears On God?

What is it that is hard for you today?   What has your mind wandering and what has you walking in fear?   Whatever it is, it's time to bind it up and cast it down.   God's Word tells us over and over again to not be afraid.   It says to fear not.   It tells us to let not our hearts be troubled and it tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear and yet, situations sometimes catch us off guard and fear comes in and tries to infiltrate our lives.

Take a moment today to speak God's Word over your own life.   Make the confession that you will not be afraid.   Say with your own mouth that fear shall have no control over your life.    Believe in your heart and your mind that if you speak it, so shall it be.    Believe that God is watching over His Word to perform it for you, in you, and through you.

Life is not always easy and living in a place where your faith overrides your fear is not always an easy thing to do but we have to live our lives based on what God said and that is not always in line with what we see in the natural.   We have to live in expectancy.   Expecting the change we need to come forth from the spiritual realm into the natural realm.    We have to live knowing that what we can't control, God can and we have to know that He is working every situation in our lives together for our good and His glory.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

1 Peter 5:7

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
