Are You Letting What Happened Yesterday Affect Your Outlook and Attitude Today?

How are you seeing today? This is the day that the Lord has made and we should rejoice and be glad in it. So often, instead of rejoicing, we are walking around mad, angry, and upset. We walk around murmuring and complaining instead of being thankful and grateful.  We have to get to the point of understanding that today is a new day and what happened yesterday, happened yesterday, and we have to not let it affect our actions and attitudes today.

There will be times in our lives when things just don't go our way. There will be times when we may not see exactly what we were hoping or expecting in life. There will be days when we seem to call on God more than other days. The thing is, God is with us at all times. He's with us through what feels like great days and He is still with us even when we are experiencing rough days. He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us and God honors His Word.

Make up your mind today that you're not going to allow what happened yesterday affect your outlook of today. Make up your in your mind that you are going to walk in hope and expectation because what did or didn't happen yesterday has no bearing on what will happen today unless you let it. Make up your mind that you're going to rejoice in God during the good times, the bad times, and all the times in-between. Make up your mind that you going to trust God with it. Whatever it is that's weighing heavy on your heart and your mind, trust God with it! Amen

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
