You Have To Know That You Are A Gladiator For Christ and The Victory Has Already Been Won ...

Gladiator.   A gladiator is a person engaging in a public fight or controversy; a trained fighter.   Understand you have been trained to fight for God.   All the things that you are seeing come against your life right now are a part of your public fight.    The fight that shows you standing and representing the Father.    The fight that will yield your expected outcome in God.

When you think about gladiators, you think about ancient Rome.   In ancient Rome gladiator fights were very popular.   Gladiator fights began to die off with the coming of Christianity.    In ancient Rome the winner of the fights were rewarded with palm branches upon their victory.    Understand palm branch represented victory and triumph.   Remember palm branches were waved also at the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.     Signifying victory once and for all.

You have to know that you are a gladiator for Christ and the victory has already been won once and for all for you.   The fight you are fighting is just to show those around you that the battle has been won.    Your life is their example.   Unfortunately some won't believe unless they see.   So you are the vessel that they are seeing God bring forth a victory in.

It's Time To Starve Our Flesh and To Nourish Our Spirit ...

The word die means to stop living.   The question is ... what are you living for?   Or should I say .... what are  you living to?   Are you living for the flesh?   Are you living to make great accomplishments in life?   Or are you living for God in order for Him to live through you?    What are you living for?

We have to learn how to live for God and God alone.   How to die to our flesh and the things that are according to the flesh.   The flesh is the body as opposed to the mind or soul.   It is our physical and carnal nature.   It is the place where our sensual appetites are aroused.     We have to stop feeding our flesh.    When you feed something, you supply it with nourishment.     Understand ... when something is malnourished it lacks what it needs to survive.

It's time to stop feeding our flesh and to start feeding our Spirit.    We have to feed the Spirit with the word and as we stop feeding our flesh, the things that our flesh are normally sensitive to or drawn to, will not be.   For as we starve our flesh, it becomes malnourished and the tendencies of our flesh will die.

You Have Been Promoted By God To Be His Representative ... Are You Living The Lifestyle Of A Leader? Where You Are Teaching Others How To Succeed In God and Not Stumble and Fall?

You are chosen.   God hand selected YOU to serve Him.    Think about it ... if you were chosen for a promotion on your job.   To be a leader.   The head of the department.   How would you act?   What would be your representation to the people that are following you?   Would you just say anything and do anything in front of them or would you  honor the code of conduct in the office?

Understand, you have been promoted by God.   You have been promoted to be the head and not the tail.   You have been promoted to be the vessel that God uses to lead people out of the dark places into His light.   So what code of conduct are your following?    God's code of conduct is embedded in His word.    He wants our lives and lifestyles to be examples to the people around us.    He wants us to be living epistles.   Books that can be read by others that will show them that God is real.  That faith is real.

You have to understand that YOU are a chosen one.    For God has entrusted you with His power.    It's time to live a lifestyle that will lead others to truth and help them not to stumble and fall.

Have You Set Yourself Free From The Bondage Of Unforgiveness?

Remember love and forgiveness work together.   Let your love for others lead you to forgiving them.    God's love is what leads Him to forgive you.   Do the same.   Note ... I didn't say it was an easy thing to do.   But at least try and stop saying that you will never forgive them.

Sometimes we think that forgiving a person is like saying what they did was okay.   That's not the case.  We have to get to the point of understanding that forgiveness is more internal than external.    We forgive so that we can free ourselves.   It's not just about freeing someone else.    When we walk in unforgiveness, we walk in doubt, anger, hurt, and pain.    None of which are what God wants for our lives.     There comes a time when you must let go and release.    Understand ... it is not about releasing another person ... it is about setting yourself free from the bondage that comes with unforgiveness.

Are You Willing To Go The Distance With God?

Are you willing?   Are you willing to stand?  Are you willing to fight?  Are you willing to go?   Are you willing to do?   Are you willing to press?  Are you willing to pursue?   Are you willing to obey?   Are you willing to trust?   Are you willing to believe?

God is looking for willing vessels.   Those that are willing to do what He has called them to do.   However, in doing what He has called you to do, you have to be willing to stand, fight, go, do, press pursue, obey, trust, and believe.    You can't get to where God is taking you without willingness.   Without persistence.   Without endurance.

It's time for you to establish your trust, hope, and belief on God's word and God's word alone.    It's time to make the confession .... "God where you go ... I WILL GO.   What you tell me to do ... I WILL DO."    Be willing today to go the distance with God.

All Or Nothing ... Are You Going To Be Faithful To God or Your Flesh?

All or nothing.   Are you going to give God all of you or none of you?   It's one or the other.   For the Bible says that if you are lukewarm ... God won't accept you.    It's time to make up your mind.   Are you going all the way or are you going to stay where you are?    We tend to want to play with God.  We want to try and play hide and seek.   Not understanding that God knows all and sees all.   You can't hide from God.

Think about it.  The coming of Christ is compared to a marriage.    Christ is coming for His bride ... the church.   Are you being faithful while the husbandman is away?   Or are you doing what your flesh desires to do?     Would you want an unfaithful mate?    One who is with you one moment and doing what they want to do the next.   All or nothing.   It is either all the way with God or staying in a place of sin.   The choice is yours.

Are You Taking The People, Places, and Things In Your Life For Granted? Are You Taking God's Grace, Love & Mercy For Granted?

What are you taking for granted?    The term taking for granted is not appreciating something or someone for what they are there for, have to offer, and can do.  Are you taking your spouse for granted?   Are you taking your parents for granted?   How about co-workers?   Other family members?   God?   Are you truly appreciative for the people, places, and things that God has placed in your life?   How about God's grace ... His love ... and His mercy?   Are you taking for granted His unfailing love that He has extended to you?

Understand even if you don't feel as though you are taking God for granted ... understand if you don't appreciate you have or the people in your life, you are indirectly taking Him for granted as well.    For it is God that blesses us.   His blessing include the people that He has called to walk along side of us to encourage us and to help us along the way.    We have to learn how to appreciate every moment and every person in our lives.   Even if the experience is not a good one ... you can still learn from it and it is still pushing you forward into your destiny.

Understanding Authority ... You Have To Understand That "YOU" Have Been Given Authority Over The Devil!!!

We have to begin to understand that we have been delegated authority.    The Bible tells us in Luke 9:1-2 that Jesus called the disciples together and gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases and He sent them forth.   Understand YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE SAME AUTHORITY.    We have to stop living and acting like we are less than.    Less than powerful.   We have to understand that God has placed His power within us to be His delegates in the earth.   The word delegate means a person sent or authorized to represent others.   We have been authorized and set in place to represent God.

Luke 9:1-2

King James Version (KJV)Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.  And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

The first thing we need to understand is that we have authority over the devil.    You have to establish it  in your heart and your mind that even devils are subject to us through the name of Jesus.   When something is established, it is firm and it is settled.

Luke 10:17-19

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Authority is delegated power.    The whole purpose of delegated power is so that God can set, establish and maintain order in the earth.   Once you have a clear understanding of the authority you have been given, it will cause you to respond differently to the situations in your life.     Understand ... authority is always declared.    When you declare something, you say it with emphasis, formally, and officially.    Take time today to meditate on these scriptures.

Mark 1:27

And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

Matthew 8:26-27

And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him

Jesus walked out what He knew.   He knew that He had been given delegated power to set, establish, and maintain God's order in the earth.   You have to know that too.   You have to establish that fact in your heart and mind.

It is important that we as believes walk in the delegated power and authority that we have been give because we are not wrestling against flesh and blood.    We have to understand that there are spiritual forces that are at work against us and the only way to overcome them is by operating in the authority that God has given us.

Ephesians 6:10-12

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Are You Just Letting People Speak Negatively Against Your Life? Know Who You Are And What God Has Declared and Decreed To Be True!!!

Don't just let people speak against your life.   Know that you have power and you have authority.   You have the power and the authority to uproot, bind up, and to cast down.     For the Bible says that whatsoever things that "you" bind on earth are bound in heaven.   So when people speak against your life, understand the power you have in prayer.   You have the power to bind it up.   You have the power to cast it down.   Then you also have to know that God has already declared and decreed that His anointed shall not be touched.

Matthew 16:19
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.

So often we receive the negative things that are spoken into our lives.   We receive them to a point that we fail to believe what God has already said.   Stop doing that.   Understand your life has been ordained by God.    He is your Creator and He is your judge.    Establish that fact in your heart and in your mind.   Declare and decree that fact in your life.     So that when negative words are spoken over your life ... you uproot them with what God has already said and bind them up and cast them down according to God's word so that they shall not bear fruit.

What Is The Portrait That Your Life Is Portraying?

Your life is painting a picture?  The question is ... what picture are you painting?   What image are people seeing when they look at the canvas of your life?   Are they seeing that God is real?   Are they seeing Him as faithful, a healer, and a provider?   What your are portraying is the portrait that others are seeing.

Make sure it's God that they see.  When they look at you.  When they listen to you.   When they call on you.   Make sure it is God that they see and not selfishness and pride.    Be the image that God created you to be.    Always remember your life is not about you.   It's about being who God created you to be so that you can be a light to someone else.

Is Your Faith Rooted In God's Word or Are You Standing On The Sinkholes of Fear and Doubt?

Are you standing on the sinkholes of fear and doubt?    A sinkhole is a "cavity" in the ground that is caused by "erosion" that provides a route for a "collapse" in the earth's surface.     Understand a cavity is a hollow empty space.    Erosion is a slow wearing away and collapse means to fall down or give way to.    Is that how your faith is?   Is it on the solid ground of God's word or just out there not rooted and grounded in scripture?   Is it being worn away by tests and trials and at a place of collapsing or are you standing strong based on what you know God has said?    Don't allow your faith to be on the sinkholes of fear and doubt.   Be rooted and be grounded on God's word because only God's word will stand the through the tests and trials of life.

Are You Building Your Comfort Zone Based On The Fact That God Is Faithful? Are You Functioning With Ease While Waiting On The Promises Of God To Manifest In Your Life?

Have you gotten into a comfort zone?   A zone where you are comfortable with your surroundings.    We have to understand that God requires that we walk in faith and faith is not always comfort.   The thing is .. in faith, you don't always know your surroundings.   Faith is belief in what you can't see.   Understanding that you trust in what you know ... but you still can't see it until it manifests.

The definition for comfort zone is the level at which one functions with ease and familiarity.    You have to build your comfort zone around the promises of God.   You have to be able to function with ease and familiarity based on the fact that you trust and know that God is who He said He is and that He will do what He said He would do.    Be comfortable in His promises.   Knowing, understanding, and believing that He will come through.

Are You Allowing Your Situation To Steal Your Joy? Learn How To Praise God In The Midst and In Spite Of ...

What do you do when things don't go as expected?  When you wake up to a challenge.   Do you stop ... give up ... quit?   Or do you realize that God is still in control.  He hasn't changed.   Do you change your attitude based on your situation?   Do you let the situation steal your joy?   Or do you worship and praise God in spite of?    Learn how to worship God in the "midst".    The word midst means in the middle of it.    Learn how to give God praise right in the middle of whatever it is you are going through.

So often we give up, quit, get angry because things don't work out as planned.   Not realizing that God already has a plan.    He has already worked it out.   Not it might not be working the way you think it should.   But it is working together for your good.    Learn how NOT to be caught off guard by the surprises of life.    When you talk about being off guard ... you are saying you are not prepared.    Understand things can come as a surprise and you can still be prepared.   So be prepared to worship God in spite of whatever it is you are going through.

What Is Your Heart's Cry? Do You Understand That God Hears The Cry Of Your Heart?

What is your cry today?   Are you crying out for help?   Are you crying out for others?   Are you crying out for direction?   What is your heart's cry today?

You have to understand that God hears the cry of your heart.   Those things that are touching you so deeply and so intimately.    He hears and He knows.   He is responding with His love.   Will you receive it?   Will you receive the comfort of the Father?    The healing that He is trying to give you through His word.    The healing that comes with His promises.   You have to begin to understand that God has already given you the answer.   If you are sick, Jesus took stripes on His back for your healing.   If you are alone, He has already assured you that He will never leave you nor forsake you.    If you are weak, He has already told you in your weakness ... He is strong.    So whatever it is you are crying out for ... know that He has already responded with the answer.  Take hold of His promises and rest in them so that you can see the manifestation of them.

Are You Wondering Which Way To Go and What To Do Next? Your Answer Will Come As You Seek The Father ...

What is God saying?   What is He saying to you ... right now?   Do you find yourself asking yourself what is it that God wants me to do?   How do I do it?   Which way do I go?    What now Lord?    We all do.   We all go to God and ask Him what am I supposed to be doing?   Why would you go anywhere else or ask anyone else?   Not only does God have the answer, He is the answer.

Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek first the Kingdom.    The word seek means to attempt to find.    If you already know all the answers, there would be no need for God to tell you to seek.    So understand your questions are all natural and they are answered as you pursue and seek the Father.   He unveils and He reveals His plan for your life and  for the body of Christ.

So don't stop your pursuit of God based on unanswered questions.   Continue your pursuit of seeking Him so that all your questions will be answered.

Do You Truly Understand The Power Of Your Tongue?

The Bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue.   You have within you the ability to speak life and you have within you the ability to speak death.    Think about what you are saying.    Are you saying words that cause yourself and others to grow?   Or are you saying words of failure and discouragement.

Understand God's word is life.   It builds up, edifies, and causes us to grow.   So when you speak His word, you are speaking forth life.   You are confirming within yourself and others the word of God.    We have to get to a place where we learn to be quiet and say nothing instead of saying words that tear down.    Understand we can tear down our faith by speaking words of doubt.    We can tear down other people by speaking words of discouragement.   Be aware of what you are saying and make sure it is in line with God's word concerning  your life and those around you.

Are You Treating God Like A Pit Stop?

Are you going to serve God all the way?   Are you going to give Him your all?   Are you going to stop treating Him like He is your pit stop of power and for power?    Are you going to give Him your all?

So often we treat God like a pit stop.   We run and we do it our own way until we need God to move.   When we need God to move we run to Him.   We ask Him for help.   We pray fervently.  We seek His word passionately.  But as soon as we get an answer we stop pressing and start pursuing our own lusts and our own desires.    We have to stop treating God as our own personal pit stop.    Stay in a position where the blessings will be automatic.   Where you won't have to work so hard to get in and be in the right position to receive from Him.    Stay in a place of  prayer, worship, and praise.   Stay connected.

How Can You Go Deeper If You Never Dig?

How far are you really willing to go?    What are you really willing to do for God?    Are you willing to sacrifice your wants and your desires in order to be in the will of God?    It's time to go further and to dig deeper but in order to go further and dig deeper, it will take effort.     So often we want the results of a deeper relationship with God but we don't want to put for the effort and the time that it takes to have that deeper relationship.    How can you go deeper if you never dig?    The word dig means to break up, turn over, and to loosen.

Understand ... in order to get closer to God, you have to break up and change your way of thinking and your way of doing things.    So if you are really willing to go ... start flipping things over.   Change the ways you have become accustomed to and put forth the effort to learn more of Him and to commune more with Him.

Is Your Trust Factor Rooted and Grounded In The Fact That You Know The Father Loves You? Knowing The Love Of The Father Is A Basic Requirement ...

Basic Requirements.   The word basic means the essential foundation, the fundamental part, and the starting point.   The question is ... do you know the basics of what you say you believe?    How often do we do things without reading the instructions?   How often do we try things without knowing the basics?    In order to serve God completely and wholeheartedly, you need to know one "basic" thing.   You need to know that He loves you.     The foundation, the fundamental part, and the starting point of everything that God has done and is doing is "love".   For He Himself is love.

So in order for you to trust His word, believe His word, and act on His word freely ... you have to know, see, and understand that the Father loves you.   When someone loves you ... they protect you and keep you.    They provide for you and they are there for you.    Your trust factor must be rooted and grounded in the fact that you know the Father loves you.

Are Your Choices Leading You To Holiness, The Right Attitude, Being Guided By God and Being

Sin is a choice.   The question is ... are you making the choice to get sin out of your live.    When we look at David we have to understand what David did.   Yes he sinned ... but he made a choice to stop and to go to God.    David asked God for a new heart.   He asked God for a right spirit.   He asked God not to remove him from his presence.   He asked God to not take away His Holy Spirit from him.    How often do we sin and run from God instead of running to God and asking God to take it away.

We have to begin to develop ourselves like David did.    David's desire was to be holy.   He had the right attitude regarding sin.   He knew it was wrong.    But David also knew that he couldn't change himself.   He knew he needed God's guidance.    David was committed.    My questions to you today are ...   Do you realize sin is wrong?   Do you realize that you can't change yourself?   Are you willing to ask God for guidance?   Are you willing to commit totally and completely to God?    Once you can say yes to all these questions, you can move forward in your walk with God.

Are You Willing To Partake In God's Plan? Understanding That His Word Responds To Obedience ...

Partake.   Are you willing to partake in God's plan.  The word partake means to join in.   It means to participate and to share.   God wants you to join in with Him.   To work with Him.   To participate with Him so that you can share the fruit of His blessings.

Instead of partaking, we tend to abstain and refrain from participating in what God has called us to do.   Mainly because we have our own agenda.   We have our plan.   We want God's results but we want to do it our way.    We have to know and understand that God is a God of order.   He has set and established principles in the earth.    His word responds to our obedience.    When we choose not to obey, we set ourselves up for failure.   Just as obedience brings about His blessings, disobedience brings about failure.

So go ahead and partake of God's plan.  Walk in obedience to His word so that He can pour out the abundance of His blessings upon your life.

Are You Getting Caught In The Glamour Of Life Out Of Your Desire To Do Something Different?

Don't get caught in the glamour.   The word glamour means the quality that makes a thing seem appealing or special.    It is what attracts you to someone or something.   It is not necessarily the best part of a thing ... it is just what appeals to you about a thing.     So don't get caught in the glamour.

So often we see opportunity.   Opportunity to do something different and that appeals to us because we get tired of the same thing all the time.   Our souls (which is our mind, will, and emotions) tell us that we need to do something different.   We need to have something different.   We need a change.   The question is ... what is God saying?    Always know and understand that God is not basing your direction on the desires of your soul.    God leads us by His Spirit that dwells within us.  So outward appearance doesn't have anything to do with ultimate destiny.    So again ... don't get caught up in the glamour.

Have You Checked The Access Points To Your Life? All The Enemy Is Seeking Is An Opportunity ...

Are you opening doors for the enemy to walk through in your life?   Doors of doubt?   Doors of fear?   Doors of anger?   Doors of fleshly desire?   Are you giving him a foot hole into your life and your situation?

We have to begin to monitor our access points.  The points where the enemy is able to access our lives.    We have to start shutting him out.    All he is looking for is an opportunity.   For the Bible says he is seeking whom he may devour.   The word devour means to consume.   The word consume means to destroy totally.

So today check your access points.   What are you thinking?  What are you saying?  What are you doing?    Are you monitoring the gates of your eyes and your ears?   What you look at and what  you listen to.    Even if what you are looking at is a situation ...   Are you looking at it in the right light?    Close the access points and allow God to strengthen you in every are of your life.

Are You Allowing Your Situation To Give You Knowledge and Insight For Your Next Level In Life?

Reverse ... Forward ... or Neutral?   Which way are you going?  Are you going backwards, forwards, or trying to stand still?    It's time to move forward with God.    There are times in life when you feel as though everything is pushing you backwards.   You feel as though nothing is changing.   As though everything that is coming up against you is pushing you back to where you used to be.   But understand ... life in itself doesn't have the ability to push you backwards.   If you gain knowledge and insight from your situation ... that means you are no longer where you used to be.    What we have to understand is life is full of lessons.    A lesson is a period of learning or teaching.    There are things we "must" know in order to be successful in every level of our lives.    What we have to do when we feel as though life is pushing us backwards is to trust God to give us the knowledge we need and to accelerate us when we are ready.

A young child cannot go to a job and operate a piece of machinery for many reasons.  He is not old enough, mature enough, and he doesn't have the knowledge to do so.  Get to the neutral position where you are standing still and allowing God to teach you what you need to know.   Grow up in Him and His word.   Become mature in the things of God so that you can take the knowledge that He is giving you and accelerate forward to your next level.
