It's Time To Starve Our Flesh and To Nourish Our Spirit ...

The word die means to stop living.   The question is ... what are you living for?   Or should I say .... what are  you living to?   Are you living for the flesh?   Are you living to make great accomplishments in life?   Or are you living for God in order for Him to live through you?    What are you living for?

We have to learn how to live for God and God alone.   How to die to our flesh and the things that are according to the flesh.   The flesh is the body as opposed to the mind or soul.   It is our physical and carnal nature.   It is the place where our sensual appetites are aroused.     We have to stop feeding our flesh.    When you feed something, you supply it with nourishment.     Understand ... when something is malnourished it lacks what it needs to survive.

It's time to stop feeding our flesh and to start feeding our Spirit.    We have to feed the Spirit with the word and as we stop feeding our flesh, the things that our flesh are normally sensitive to or drawn to, will not be.   For as we starve our flesh, it becomes malnourished and the tendencies of our flesh will die.
