Are You Judging The Battle In Your Mind Based On God's Word and His Will and Not Your Wants?

Are you really willing to help?   Are you really willing to complete the assignment that God has called you to?   If you are willing to help and if you are willing to complete your assignment, you have to be willing to listen to the "still small voice".  

Our minds are forever talking.   We have to learn how to tell them "peace be still".    It's not just the outward circumstances we have to speak to.  We have to speak to the entity of our mind.  We have to learn how to bind thoughts that are not of him and pursue the things that He is telling us to do.    Always remember ... our flesh will always point us to do things that are for the benefit of "self".   God's voice will always point us to do things that are for the benefit of His "kingdom".   We have to learn how to follow the voice of God ... even when it is not appealing to our flesh, our wants, or our desires.   

Whatever it is that your mind is in a battle over, judge it according to God and His word.    Is it in line with the word of God?   Meaning that you need to make sure it does not lead to sin.    Does it build God's kingdom?    Does it require you to sacrifice your wants and your desires to fulfill God's will?   These are good determining factors to settle the battle in your mind.
