Are You Keeping Your Life On Auto Pilot?

Why is it that we think that we are capable of navigating our own lives?   Why do we think that the blessings of God are automatic?   We get tense and we start to doubt when things don't come when we expect them to.   It's funny because we start off on "auto pilot".  Where we surrender everything to God and ask Him to lead, guide, and direct our lives.   However, as soon as we hit a bump or as soon as things don't go as expected we take our lives off of auto pilot and begin to try to navigate ourselves.

The thing about allowing God to guide our lives is ... He knows what will happen in the future.   Nothing is unexpected and He knows every obstacle that will try to interfere with His plan.   So He knows the course and the path to take.   We are the opposite.   We don't know what will happen.  Yet we think we know the path that we need to take and that path sometimes leads us to another obstacle.   One that is bigger than the first.

It's time to leave our lives in God's hands.  We need to trust that His navigation will never fail us.   Trust that He knows the beginning to the end and He knows where we are and where He is taking us.
