Are People Looking At Your Past Mistakes and Failing To See God's Hand Upon Your Life? Don't Allow Words Of Discouragement To Cause Your Faith To Fail ...

God has called us to encourage one another.   To encourage means to give support, confidence, and hope to someone.   Are you being an encourager or are you discouraging someone's faith?   To discourage means to cause someone to lose confidence or enthusiasm.   Have you ever had someone to cause you to lose hope by what they said you couldn't do or wouldn't do?   It's like taking a blow and someone knocking the faith out of you.

Not only do you have to know who to listen to when it comes to your faith walk, you also have to know what to say to others when it comes to theirs.   Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean God won't do it for them.   If someone has faith in the Word of God, who are we to discourage what they believe God will do for them.    The same holds true if you are trusting and believing God to do something in your life.   Don't allow someone else's discouraging words cause you to lose faith and hope in what God has said that He will do in your life.   Your past does not depict your future.   To depict means to show or represent.   Your past has no bearing on God's promises.   He is well able to do in you, for you, and through you, everything that He has promised to do if you trust Him, obey Him, and have faith in Him.

People may look at your past mistakes and your outward appearance and think that God would never move on your behalf but understand, God is loving, kind, merciful, and just.    He is forgiving and He will honor His promises in your life if you are willing and obedient.   God's blessings are not based on your past.  They are based on His promises and He is true to His Word.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Isaiah 55:6-7
Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
