Are You Waiting On The Perfect Opportunity To Praise God or Have You Learned How To Praise Him Through The Storms Of Life?

Are you waiting for the perfect opportunity to worship God?   Do you need a certain atmosphere to give Him praise?   Have you learned how to praise Him in the good times and the bad?   Have you learned how to praise Him whether you are sick or feeling good?   Is your praise limited based on what you thought God should have done for you?  Understand, God is worthy of our praise!

We have to get to a place where we stop allowing our situation to dictate our actions.   Sometimes we go through.   We go through heartache and we go through pain.   Sometimes our bodies are weak and we experience sickness or disease.   Sometimes, things just don't work out the way "we" planned.    But even in those times, we still have to trust and believe God.   We have to praise Him despite our situation.   The word despite means in spite of or without being affected by.   We can't allow our situations to dictate our actions when it comes to praising God.

When we go through things in life, it doesn't change who God is or what God can do.   It doesn't limit His power or His ability.   Just think about it, when its raining outside, it doesn't mean you can't get in your car and go to the store.   It's doesn't mean you can't go out and dance in the rain.   The rain is a hindrance, but it can't stop you from going places or using your hands, arms, and feet that God has given  you.

Understand, some of the things we encounter in life are hindrances.  Some may set limitations on "the way" we can praise God (like sickness or disease) but we should still give Him praise.   We are not praising God for our situation but we are praising Him for who He is and for His power and ability to work everything in our lives together for our good.

Don't wait for what you consider a perfect opportunity to praise God.   Learn how to praise Him "through" the storms of life.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Acts 2:26
