Change is not always easy but change is sometimes necessary. Sometimes we have to make the necessary adjustments in our lives to see the promises of God manifest in us, through us, and for us. To adjust something means to alter it or move it slightly in order to obtain the desired result.
If there are actions and attitudes in your life that are "not quite" in line with what you know God has said, change them. If you are praying "sometimes", pray as the Bible says in Thessalonians. It says in 1 Thessalonians that we are to pray without ceasing. Remember, prayer is having a conversation with God. Have you ever been around someone and felt so comfortable with them that you talked and talked without ceasing? That is how you should be with God. You should talk to Him continuously but you also understand, you have to listen as well so that you can know what He wants you to do in any given situation.
So often we think that God is not speaking to us but the Word of God says in John 8:47 that "He that is of God, heareth God's words". To hear means to perceive and to discern the sound of something or someone. You have to know when God is speaking. He may be speaking through His Word or through a person. He may be speaking through the inward witness of His Holy Spirit that is within you. However, God chooses to speak, you have ears to hear what He is saying. In other words, you have to be able to perceive and discern the sound of His voice.
SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Revelation 2:17
King James Version (KJV)
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

I believe that we all get comfortable and cozy with our relationship with our Lord. So when the time comes for our faith to be to be tested, time, for us to get off the bottle milk ( sort to speak) and step up and grow up in our faith with our Lord, just as any other child must do as they grow. Always know the Father's loving arms will be there for us.
