Are You Being Still? Are You Deliberately Taking A Stand For God Without Shifting Your Posture, Position, or Attitude?

What does it mean to be still?   To be still means to be unmovable and unshakeable.   It means to be like a statue.   It means that your stance doesn't change.   Your stance is your deliberate stand.   It deals with your posture, your position, and your attitude.    The question is, how are you standing for God?   Are you being still?   Are you deliberately taking a stand for God without shifting your posture, your position, or you attitude?

Have you ever been standing somewhere and someone comes and bumps you and it cause you to stumble or to fall?   One of the reasons we can stumble or fall is because our feet are not fixed or should I say we are not in a secure position that would keep us from falling.   So when we are bumped or caught "off guard" or "unexpectedly", we can be shaken and sometimes we stumble and fall.

It's time to be fixed on the Word of God.   It's time to be still to the point that we are unmovable and unshakeable.    It's time to take a deliberate stand.   We have to posture ourselves based on God's point of view.   Our posture will determine the way we deal with and consider things in our lives because our posture will determine how we see things.   If something is set before you in the distance and you are bent over trying to look at it, you don't see it the same way you would if you were standing upright.   So we have to be in an upright position in order to see our situations the way God wants us to see them.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
