What are you embracing today? What are you taking on as your purpose and your cause? Why are you doing what you do? Are you doing it because that’s what your friends are doing or are you doing it because that is what God told you to do? Have faith! Do what God is telling you to do and that is not always going to be what everyone else is doing. Have faith! Trust in what God has said and wait on Him to fulfill His promises in you. Have faith! Know that God is well able to do what He said if you stand fast, trust His Word, and wait on Him without wavering. Have faith!
What does it mean to you to have faith? Does it mean just saying you have faith? Does it mean you are anchored and unmovable in and on the word of God? Does it mean you are casting down the thoughts and the imaginations that keep rising up in your heart and mind that are saying what you believe is not going to happen? What does your view of faith look like?
When you say you are going to walk in faith, you have to understand upfront that there will be opposition. There will be things that come up to oppose what you say you believe. How are you reacting to those situations that oppose your faith walk? Are you allowing the opposition to your faith to win? Are you giving up and quitting? Are you allowing what your situation is saying to override what God has said? Don’t be moved. God is God and what He has said shall stand.
So as you walk out your faith walk. Walk it out embracing God’s truth. Walk it out knowing that God is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As you undergird and support someone else’s vision don’t forget about the vision that God has given you. It may be for an appointed time but know that God is well able to bring it to pass. Don’t ever allow the opposition that comes to oppose your faith keep you from fulfilling God’s plan for your life. Stay in faith. Trust and believe God’s Word is true. Know that He is working everything in your life together for your good and His glory.
SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Proverbs 4:5-8
King James Version (KJV)
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
