Leaving 2023 and Beginning Your Journey Into 2024. Emptying The Baggage Of Your Life To Make Room For God To Move In Supernatural Ways.

It's time to leave 2023 and begin our journey into the New Year, 2024.   As you leave 2023, check your baggage.   Go through the checkpoint of life that is filtered by the Word of God and check to see what is in the compartments of your heart and mind that you are carrying with you into this new year God is giving you.

Think about how you have to check your baggage at the airport.   There are some things you just can't take with you on the flight because of safety reasons and space capacity.   Think about your life like that.   Clear your heart and mind to make room for God to move in you and for you.   Bind up and cast out all the baggage in your heart and mind that contains, hurt, disappointment, and unforgiveness and make room for God's love to flow to you and through you.   It's time to detach and dump the junk that tends to attach itself to us in life.

God has a plan for you in 2024 and you need to be ready and willing to do all that He will tell you to do.   You need to be able to see clearly so that you can move quickly.   So, lighten the load you have been carrying around in life and get ready for God to move for you and in you in supernatural ways.

Are You Still Praying Even When You Don't Know What Else To Do?

What are you doing when you don't know what to do?   When you feel stuck, what are you doing?   When the situation doesn't seem to be working out, what are you doing?   When the devil is busy messing with you, what do you do?   It is my prayer that you still pray.

I pray that you pray while you are being still waiting on God.   I pray that you pray when your mind feels like it is getting filled with worry and doubt and I pray that as you pray that you see God bring forth the answers that are needed to fulfill His promises concerning your life.

Understand, situations will arise.   The devil is always busy and it is his desire for you to lose hope and for you to fail to walk in faith.   Don't fulfill the desires of the enemy by doing what he wants you to do.   Know that God's promises are true.   Keep your faith, hope, and trust in God.   Don't give up.   Trust God to give you what you need and trust Him to give you the desires of your heart.

Do You Believe That God Is Turning Your Situation Around and Working It Out For Your Good and His Glory? Praying That The Enemy Will No Longer Infiltrate Your Thoughts and Overtake Your Emotions.

Where is your faith?   Are you walking in faith or are you walking in fear and doubt?   Do you believe God is turning around what has been going wrong in your life and making everything alright or are you walking in fear and doubt where your faith is actually in what you believe the enemy can do to you?    Either your faith is in God or your faith is in what the enemy is trying to accomplish in your life.    I pray today that your faith is in God and I pray that you are binding up and casting down the spirit of fear that is trying to rule, reign, and rest in your life.

It is my prayer today that you believe God.   I pray that you believe Him in a way that invokes His blessings to manifest and overtake you in life.   I pray the spirit of fear that has been sent and set in place by the devil will no longer have access to your heart and your mind.  I pray that it will no longer infiltrate your thoughts and overtake your emotions.   I pray that you pray and stay in faith in Jesus' name, amen.

Are You Allowing The Situation You Are Finding Yourself In To Rule and Reign Over Your Thoughts and Your Emotions?

Sometimes life can be hard and the situations we find ourselves in make life even harder.   How are you handling those times?   Are you being moved by your emotions?   Are you shifting from a place of faith into a place of fear?  Are you letting what you are going through lead you instead of standing firm and fast on what you said you believe before the situation arose?

Understand, something or someone is always going to challenge your faith.   The enemy is always going to come after whatever you have that is of God and in God and his attack will always be an effort to get you to not believe.   The question is, are you going to yield in a way that allows the enemy to infiltrate your mind, your heart, and your emotions or are you going to trust God no matter what?

Remember, today to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.   Remember, that there is safety in and with God.   Remember, God can do all things.   Remember, He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Ephesians 6:9-11

King James Version

And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Are You Trying To Figure Out and Work Everything Out In Your Life In Your Own Strength, Power, and Ability?

With God, all things are possible.   Are you trusting God with everything in your life or are you trying to figure everything out in your life in your own strength, power, and might?    Life can be hard.   It can be hard to figure out everything in your life.   Trials will come.   Situations will arise.   Opportunities will show up where you will have to be determined to keep your faith, hope, and trust in God.   You have to always remember that it is only with God that we live, we breathe, and we have our being and it is only God that can get us through whatever it is we are going through in life.

God has a plan and His plan covers not only our past and our present, it also covers our future.   When we don't know what to do, God does.   When we don't know which way to go, God is ready and willing to direct our path.   When we need help, God is a ever present help in our times of need.

We can't let what is going on in our lives or coming against our lives to cause us to doubt what God will do for us in life.   We have to trust God with it all.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 32:8

King James Version

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

Are You Losing Hope and Failing To Walk In Faith When You Come Up Against Challenges In Your Life?

God is not done with you yet.    There is Word that has been spoken over your life that must come to pass.   Are you trusting God to do what He said He would do?    Are you taking Him at His Word and is His Word proving to be true and real to you?

When you go through trials in life it is easy to lose hope and fail to walk in faith.    That is because a trial challenges your faith and it sometimes leads you to believe that God's Word is not working.    We have to understand that a challenge doesn't automatically mean a loss.   It is the challenges that we overcome in life that make us champions.   It is important to have faith when you are challenged in life.   Your faith stands up against the challenges that are coming up against you in life and it says that God wins no matter what.

So no matter what comes up against you in life, don't lose hope and continue to walk in faith.   Always remember, God has a plan and He is working everything together for your good and His glory.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Exodus 14:13-14

King James Version

13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

14 The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Is Your Celebration Today Still Centered Around Seeking and Celebrating God's Presence or About Getting Presents?

Today as you celebrate with your family, remember the center of your celebration today and every other day is Christ.   He was born so that we could live.   He was given so that we could have eternal life.   As you think about the reason God gave us His Son, think about the fact that Jesus was born, He bled, and He died just for us.

Remember, no greater gift has ever been given and there is no greater gift that anyone can give.   Jesus is our gift from God.

He is our Lord and He is our Savior.

He is all that we need and all that we will ever need to have eternal life.

As you unwrap your presents today, remember the gift that God gave that was wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger.   Remember, the gift that God gave that never needs to be replaced because it is irreplaceable and covers us for eternity.

As you celebrate today, make sure you are seeking and celebrating the "presence" and not just hyped up over getting presents.    Make sure you are telling your children and your grandchildren about the truth of God's Word in that He sent His Son as a gift to man and not hyping them up on the myth made up by man regarding Santa.  Have you ever thought about how the letters in the word santa switched around spell satan.   Don't let anyone or anything distract you or keep you from celebrating Your Savior today and every day.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Luke 2:12

King James Version

“And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”

Leaning Not To Our Own Understanding and Acknowledging God In All Our Ways

Father, You said in Your Word that Your grace is sufficient for us.  You said in our weakness, You are strong.   Father, because we know Your Holy Spirit dwells on the inside of us, we know that we can and will accomplish great things in and with You.

Father, You are God.   You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider.   You are Jehovah Rapha, our Healer.   You are El Shaddai, our All-Sufficient God.   Father, You can do all things.   There is nothing to hard for You.   Father You will make a way in the wilderness.   You will shield and protect us from the tricks and traps of the enemy.   You will wrap Your loving arms around us and comfort us as only You can.

Father, our hope and our trust are in You.   For You said in Your Word that we are to lean on You and not our own understanding.   You said we are to acknowledge You in all of our ways.   You said that You would not let the enemy triumph over us.   You said that You would never leave us nor forsake us.

Father, we believe that You will honor Your Word in our lives.   Father we are waiting on You to do what only You can in, through, and for us.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Are You Declaring and Decreeing In The Midst Of The Battle Who The Lord Is and What He Will Do For You?

We all experience battles in life but it is what we do in the midst of the battle that will determine our outcome.    How are you handling the attacks that are coming up against you in life?    Fear will come in the midst of the battle but the question is, how are you handling fear when it comes?   Are you binding it up and casting it down or are you allowing the fear to fuel your emotions, your actions, and your reactions?

Are you seeking the Lord in the midst of the battle and declaring who He is?   Even though you find yourself in a battle, do you realize that the battle is not yours because it belongs to the Lord?   Are you trying hard to fight your enemies or are you taking a stance knowing that no fight is needed?   In other words, are you standing still and waiting to see the deliverance of the Lord?

When you are in a battle, know that God hears your cry and believe that He will take care of you.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

2 Chronicles 20:15

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

What Are You Choosing Today? Are You Choosing To Walk With God?

Every day we get up we have a choice to make.   We have to choose whether or not we are going to seek righteousness and walk with God or whether we are going to seek to fulfill the lusts of our flesh and follow the ways of the world.   Every day is a new opportunity to tell God over and over again that we choose Him.   Our choice is what tells God what our priorities are in life.

Today as you move forward with God, remember, He said to seek Him with your whole heart.   Remember He is the very reason we live, we breathe, and we have our being.   Remember, He said if we seek Him first, everything else would be added unto us.

So we have to stop following and seeking stuff.   Everything that we need is found in God.  There are many reasons for us to seek God but the primary reason is because without Him, we are nothing and can do nothing.   Not only is He the air we breathe, He is also the love we need.   Remember, God is love.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Matthew 6:33

King James Version

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Are You Allowing The Thoughts The Enemy Is Planting To Override What You Already Know God Has Said?

What is it that has you off-track in life?    What is it that has you feeling lost and confused?   What is it that has you in a place where you are just unsure as to what to do next?   Whatever it is, it's time to let it go.   It's time for you to get back your confidence in and with God.   It's time to stop living in fear because you know that God is with you and He will take care of you.

Life can be hard and it can be very difficult dealing with the situations that come up against you in life but you have to know that God is with you and He is in control.    He said in His Word that He knows the things we have need of and He is faithful and just to provide us with those things but you have trust Him to do it.

Whatever you do today, don't let the enemy win.   Don't let the thoughts that he is planting in your mind override what you already know about what God can and will do for you.    Trust God to honor His Word in your life.   Trust Him to do all that you need done and trust Him to be all that You need Him to be.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Matthew 6:7-8

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him.

Are You Looking At Your Life From God's Point Of View?

There are times in life when you must step back and look at things from a distance so that you can get the full picture.   Your point of view is the position from which you see or observe something.   Question is, from what point of view are you looking at your life?   Are you positioned with God and looking at your life from God's viewpoint or are you so close to your situation that you can't even see the fullness of what God is doing in your life?

You always must keep in mind that God has a plan.   Don't ever take one snapshot of a moment in your life and think that everything is over based on what you are going through at that given moment.   There will be good moments in life, and you may experience some not so good moments, but all of the moments are a part of God's plan and He is working everything together for your good and His glory.

As you pray today and every day, look at what you are experiencing in life from the viewpoint of God.   When He looks at you, He see His handiwork.  He sees you covered with the blood of Jesus.   He sees you as His living epistle.   He sees you as complete in and with Him.    He sees your beginning and he sees your end.   He sees you victorious.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

I Samuel 16:7

King James Version

“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”

Do You Realize You Can't Get To Where God Wants You To Be By Walking In Fear?

Have you ever been at a place in your life where you don't know what to say or do next?   A place where you are afraid to move because you are not sure in which direction you should go?   God wants to take you further in and with Him.   He wants to get you from the place where you are to the place where He has ordained for you to be.   It is His desire for you to move forward in and with Him but in order for you to get there, you can't live in fear.

Getting to where God wants you to be requires faith.   You will have to push past how you feel and you will have to cast down thoughts and imaginations that are not in alignment with God's Word.   Thoughts will come and imaginations will come but you can't take hold of the thoughts and imaginations because they will become your reality.

God wants you to stay in a place of readiness.   A place where you are ready to do whatever He tells you to do when He tells you to do it.     You can't be ready and fearful at the same time.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 119:60

I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.

Do You Trust God To Faithfully Complete The Good Work That He Began In You?

You have to learn how to cast your cares on God and leave them there.   A lot of times in life we pray and we surrender our situations over to God to just pick them back up.   We say with our mouth that we are letting it all go but when our situations begin to intensify, we pick it all back up and try to think of a resolution that we think we can make happen on our own.

Make today and the days ahead about trusting God.  Trusting Him to do what He said He would do.   Relying on Him as your source and your supply.   Make it about letting Him honor His Word in your life without your interference in His process.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Are You Giving Up Based On What You See or Standing Strong On What God Said?

Are you allowing what your situation looks like to determine your outcome?   Do you have faith?   Are you staying in faith despite what you see in the natural?   You have to know that God can do all things.   He can make a way where there appears to be no way.   He can open doors where doors have been closed.   He can take what seems to be going wrong and He can make it right.   Your outlook concerning your situation should always be based on your faith in God.

The thing about images is that they stick with you.   When you get an image in your mind, it provokes your imagination to be at work and when your imagination is engaged, your mind can go in many different directions.   That is why it is important to keep God and His Word always in the forefront of your mind so that it can filter out any though or imagination that is not of Him.

With that being said, make sure you are not losing hope and failing to walk in faith based on what you see.   Make sure you are staying in faith based on what God said.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

2 Corinthians 4:18

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Are You Declaring and Decreeing Who God Is When Fear Tries To Come Upon Your Life?

What are you doing while you are waiting on your situation to change?   Are you trying to make things happen on your own or are you waiting on God to honor His Word in your life?

Understand, when you are in a battle, fear will try to come upon you but when fear comes, you must seek the Lord and declare and decree over your situation who God is in your life.    You have to declare and decree that He is Lord of all and Lord over all that concerns your life.    You have to know that no matter what you are going through, God is on your side.   He is with you and He hears your cry.    Not only that, you have to remember that the battle is the Lords.   You can't look at what is coming against you, you have to keep your heart, mind, and eyes stayed on God who said He would take care of you.

The thing about a battle is we immediately go into defensive mode.   We must always remember, God is our defense.   His angels are encamped all around us.    He promised to shield us, protect us, and to deliver us.   One thing is for sure that we must do while we are waiting on our situation to change, we must keep our hope, trust, and belief in the fact that God is watching over His Word to perform it in our lives and He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

How Are You Clothing Yourself? Are You Trying To Impress God or Man?

How are you clothing yourself?   Are you clothing yourself to impress men and women by adorning your outward appearance or are you clothing yourself in righteousness for God?

We must remember that God made us for Himself and not for man.   He made us to be His representatives in the earth.   He didn't make us to be proud, independent, or self-sufficient.   He wants us to always depend on Him and He wants us to know that our sufficiency is in Him.

We have to know that if we try to be independent from God, destruction will come.    Remember, a haughty spirit comes before a fall.   There are different types of people that we will encounter in the earth.   There is the unglodly.  That is the one who seeks evil and uses his lips for evil.   There is the froward.   That is the one who sows strife.    There is the whisperer.   That is the gossiper that breaks apart friendships.   There is the violent.   That is the one that entices and persuades others to go in a way that is not good.

We have to be careful so we won't be taken by the works of iniquity and we have to make sure we are not the one that is sowing bad seeds into the lives of others.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Isaiah 61:10

King James Version

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh [himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth [herself] with her jewels.

Have You Taken The Time To Discern Your Heart Motivation For The Choices You Are Making In Life?

Are you allowing God to lead you in every area of your life or are you picking and choosing which areas you want to follow God in?   What is the motivation behind the choices you are making in life?

When you think about your heart, think about it as a bridge.   On one side of the bridge is your Spirit and on the other side is your soul.   It matters which side of the bridge you are on as you make choices in your life.   Are you making spiritual choices based on God and His Word or are you making soulish choices based on how you feel in your flesh?

There are times when you will need help discerning your heart motivation.   Our heart motivation should always be based on the Word of God and the Word of God does not always line up with man's intellect.  As a matter of fact, there will be times when we have to renew or renovate our minds.   The Bible tells us in Romans 12 to renew our mind so that we can prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Romans 12:2-3

King James Version

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Are You Being Still Enough and Quiet Enough To Hear The Still Small Voice Of God?

Are you talking to God more than you are listening to Him?   Are you so busy telling God what you need that you are failing to do what He has asked you to do.   We have to remember, God is always talking but we have to be quiet enough and still enough to hear what He is saying so that we can walk in obedience to what we hear.

There are many voices in the world and we get to choose which voice will influence our choices in life.    Just as God is speaking to us through people and situations in our lives, the devil and other influences in this world are also speaking to us through people and situations in our lives.   We have to know how to discern the voice of God so that our choices will be alignment with God's Word and His will for our lives.

Make it a point to listen for the still small voice of God.    When you are still enough and quiet enough to hear the whisper of God, you will already be in the position you need to be in, in order for you to quickly obey all that He is telling you to do.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

1 Kings 19:12-13

King James Version

and after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave.

Are You Tolerating Fear and Allowing It To Contaminate Your Faith?

When we walk in fear, we are walking in the cares and anxieties of the world.    It is the enemy's attack against our lives.  It is where the enemy is trying to pull the plug on our faith.   He wants to keep our hearts and minds off of what God is doing and we instead begin to focus on what he is doing.    To keep our eyes stayed on God means we are walking in faith but when we are distracted and become more concerned about what the devil is trying to do, we leave the realm of faith and get into the realm of fear.

Understand what the "cares of life" are.   They are distractions that are a result of anxiety.  When we become anxious about situations in our lives, it results in "cares" and we can either cast our cares on God or carry them around ourselves.    Remember, anxiety is a result of fearful concern or should I say fear.

When you tolerate fear, you contaminate your faith and faith contaminated by fear cannot produce God results.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Isaiah 41:10

King James Version

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

What Do You Feel Is The Primary Thing In Your Walk With God? Do You Feel It's Your Faith Walk, Your Walk of Obedience, or Your Love Walk?

What is the primary thing in your walk with God?   Are you focused on how you are walking in faith?   Do you feel like it is your walk of obedience that is most important?   Do you feel like it is your love walk is what matters most?   You have to remember, God is LOVE and He wants us to be like who and what He is and He also wants us to walk in faith and obedience.

All three of these are hard to do.   Just think about it.   When you are doing your best to walk in faith, the enemy is constantly presenting you with situations in an effort to get you to walk in fear.   When you have chosen to be obedient, something always comes up to tempt you to get you to walk in disobedience and when you have chosen to walk in love, the test of your love walk will always come up because of something the person or people you are choosing to walk in love with has chosen to say or do that pierces your heart and challenges your thoughts.   But again, God has called us to walk in all three.  He wants us to walk in faith, He wants us to walk in obedience, and He wants us to walk in who and what He is and that is LOVE.

God has given us all the tools we need to walk in all three.   He has given each of us a mustard seed of faith and He has placed His Holy Spirit on the inside of us to strengthen us and to help us to walk in obedience and love.

Remember, God is love and the Bible talks about love never failing.   If we walk in LOVE (in who and what God is), it will help us as we choose to walk in faith and obedience because God is who and what God is.   He is faithful and He always honors His Word.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Ephesians 5:1-2

Amplified Bible

Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.

Are You Still Displaying Who and What God Is Despite What Everyone Else Is Trying To Do Against You?

One of the hardest things we will ever have to do is love.   True love is who and what God is and when we love others, we have to love them "in spite of".   Are you loving others in-spite of what they have done or even may be doing to you or against you?   In spite of means regardless of or even though.   The best example of loving in spite of is how God loves us.   He loves us even though we sinned and took the life that He sacrificed His Son for and used it to glorify the devil instead of glorifying Him even though we knew that He is God alone and He is the very air that we breathe.     God still loves of in spite of the wrong that we have done towards Him.

Today do your best to forgive and to love as you have been forgiven and loved.   If you are finding it hard to do either or both, ask God to help you.   Ask Him to heal your heart and ask Him to help you to be more like Him.   Forgive as He forgives and do your best to love like Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

1 John 4:7-8

King James Version

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Are You Measuring What God Can Do In Your Life By Walking In Limited Faith?

Have you set mental limits on God concerning your life?   Are you believing that God can make a way in some areas of your life and are you still living by limited faith concerning other areas?   Do you have faith and pray for God to move for others and still doubt whether or not He "will" move for you?   If so, it's time to take the limits off of God by choosing not to limit your faith.  You have to remember that God can do all things and He is ready and willing to do all things for you, in you, and through you as well.

Take a moment and think about the fact that God can't be measured.   He can do "all" things.   He can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think.   The only borders and limitations that God has are the borders and limitations that we place on Him moving on our behalf by limiting our faith.    If God said directly to you, "be it unto you according to your faith", would you be able to access all of the Kingdom blessings He has in store for you or would God's blessings be hindered from coming fully into your life because of your limited faith?

Today I pray that you take the limits off of God and as you walk fully in faith.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Hebrews 11:6 KJV

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

What Are You Doing While You Are Waiting On God?

Sometimes situations in our lives become overwhelming.   There are times when you won't know what to do and all you can do is trust God.   It is those times that tend to send you into a place where you are constantly calling out and crying out to God and that is what He wants you to do.   He wants us to seek Him with our whole heart.   He wants us to call on Him and to cry out to Him and He wants us to also wait on Him.

What are you doing in the waiting?   Are you gaining His peace and understanding while you wait and allowing yourself to be comforted by His Word?   Are you being still and knowing that He is God while you wait?   Are you trusting God while you wait and leaning NOT to your own understanding?   It matters what you do while you wait.

Today I want to encourage you to wait on the Lord.   I want to encourage you to have faith in God.   I want to encourage you today to be still and to know that He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things.   I want to remind you today that God is God and He has never left you nor forsaken you and He never will.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 40:1-3

King James Version

(To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Are You Getting Stuck In What You Are Going Through or Are You Trusting God To Bring You Through?

There are times in life when it it is hard to see your way through.   Sometimes the storms of life can be so tumultuous that the winds of life begin to knock you down to the point that you can't see how to get back up.   It's at those times that you have to know that God is ready and willing to pick you back up if you let Him.

Understand there are many storms that come with life but there is no storm too strong for God.    Even if the storms of life leave you feeling broken because of the people, places, and things you may have lost in life, know that God can mend your brokenness.

Never let what you are going through get you stuck in a place where you lose hope for the future.   Never let your situations keep you from moving forward with God.   Always remember God is with you and He will take you through the tests and the trials that come in the form of storms in your life and bring you into a place of peace in and with Him.

Who's Reaching Their Goal (You or The Enemy)? The Enemy Is Trying To Take You Out, But You Have The Power To Take Him Out First.

The enemy is busy.   The primary goal of your enemies is to take you out?   Are they being successful?   Are they proving that they can take you out of your walk of faith and get you to walk in fear?   Are they proving that they can steal your joy and get you to walk in anger, bitterness, and strife?   Are they proving that they can keep you from walking in the love of God to the point that you fail to forgive, knowing that you have been forgiven?   Understand the rationale of the devil.   Is so that he can cause all of what was just said to happen in your life.

What's your goal?   Are you striving to walk in faith and constantly casting down fear?   Are you rejoicing in the Lord and allowing God to strengthen you so that you can consistently walk in the love of God?   Are you forgiving others just as God has forgiven you?

Choose today who will reach their goal.   Will it be you or will you let the devil achieve his goal concerning your life?   Understand, when you achieve your goal, it cancels out what the devil is trying to do to you and through you.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

James 4:7

King James Bible

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Have You Take The Time To Read Your Book of Benefits? You Have To Know The Benefits You Have When You Seek and Serve God.

You have to understand, the Bible is a book of benefits.   Take a moment and think about your Benefits Guide at work.   Your benefits guide tells you your entitlements.   That is what the Bible does.   It tells you your Kingdom entitlements.   It also lets you know your restraints.   In other words, it tells you the things you can and cannot do.   So, know the importance of reading God's Book (the Bible) of Benefits.

There are many benefits that come with being a child of God.   When you surrender your all to God and invite Jesus in to be your Lord and Savior, you come up under the covenant promises of God.   As you think about the benefits that you receive on a job, it includes health insurance and life insurance.   It includes time off where you can rest.   It includes a savings plan and some places of employment also include legal insurance.

Now take a moment and think about the benefits of God.   Those benefits cover your health.   For God said in His Word that He is the Lord God that heals you.   You are also covered under God's life insurance plan for when You accept Jesus as Your Lord and Savior, you receive eternal life.   Another benefit of seeking and serving God is that you get to rest in Him.  As you are resting in Him, He will cover you, keep you, and make a way for you.   Not to mention He is your source and supply and all that you will ever need is already stored up and God will supply whatever it is you need.    Also remember, God is your counsel, your judge, and your jury so you are protected in and with Him.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 103:2

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

What Do You Do When You Don't Know What To Do? There Will Be Times When You Have To Be Still and Let God Be God So That He Can Perfect His Good Work In You.

Not knowing what to do can prove to be very stressful.   When you don't know what to do, so many options tend to pop up in your head and you are left with choosing which option to follow-through on.

When you don't know what to do, you can move based on how you think and how you feel, you can move based on what a friend or family member is telling you to do, or you can move (or not move) based on what God has told you to do.

You may think you know what is best and people may think they know what is best for you BUT ONLY GOD knows what is best.   Our lives are designed according to His plan and we have to trust Him to perfect His plan in and for us.

So if you get to a place in your life where you don't know what to do next, follow God and His plan and remember, sometimes His plan just requires that you be still while He does what He needs to do for you.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 46:10

King James Version

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Do You Trust and Believe What God Has Done In The Past (Whether It Is Biblical Days or Your Personal Past), He Can Do Again If Necessary?

Do you understand what it means to be faithful?  Faithfulness says I believe and I'm with you no matter what.   It is a stand that we take no matter what else is happening in our lives.   When you are faithful, you don't give up and you don't quit based on the appearance of a situation.    You don't stop believing even though what you are experiencing doesn't feel like it is going the way you want.   Faithfulness is not redirected by someone else's opinion.  God wants us to be faithful and our faithfulness to Him must be rooted and grounded in our belief and our trust in Him.

When you think about the word faithful, think about how God wants you to be "full of faith".   Think about how He wants you to trust Him and to believe Him.   His Word is true and He wants us to take Him at His Word.   As you walk in faith, remember, God is not a man and He does not lie.   What He has done in the past (whether in biblical days or in your personal past), He can do again if necessary.   God does NOT lack power or ability.   He can do all things.   Trust Him to honor His Word in your life.

Revelation 1:8

“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”

Are You Growing Impatient Waiting On God or Are You Patiently Waiting On Him To Do What He Said He Would Do?

Change is not always automatic.   Sometimes change takes time.    Are you becoming impatient because of the time it is taking for change to take place?

The thing is, we live in a world that wants everything fast.   Society has changed in a way where everything is done quickly and because everything is done quickly, we want everything in our lives to happen quickly.    We have to understand that God said in His Word that He changes not and He said that it is through faith and patience that we obtain His promises.   We have to learn how to wait on God even though we are living in a fast-paced society, we have to trust, believe, and wait on God to do what He said He would do.

So as you pray today, pray knowing that your faith is in God and timing is of God.   Don't grow impatient waiting on God.   Just know that God will do what He said He would do and His promises are worth waiting for.

SCRIPTURE MEDITATION

Psalm 27:14

Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

What Do You Do When You Are Not Sure What To Do?

In the midst of all the trials that come with life, what do you do when you don’t know what to do?   Do you quit?   Do you give in?   Do you...
