Sometimes situations in our lives become overwhelming. There are times when you won't know what to do and all you can do is trust God. It is those times that tend to send you into a place where you are constantly calling out and crying out to God and that is what He wants you to do. He wants us to seek Him with our whole heart. He wants us to call on Him and to cry out to Him and He wants us to also wait on Him.
What are you doing in the waiting? Are you gaining His peace and understanding while you wait and allowing yourself to be comforted by His Word? Are you being still and knowing that He is God while you wait? Are you trusting God while you wait and leaning NOT to your own understanding? It matters what you do while you wait.
Today I want to encourage you to wait on the Lord. I want to encourage you to have faith in God. I want to encourage you today to be still and to know that He knows the things you have need of and He is faithful and just to provide you with those things. I want to remind you today that God is God and He has never left you nor forsaken you and He never will.
SCRIPTURE MEDITATION
Psalm 40:1-3
King James Version
1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
