Are You Reacting To Life or Responding To Life Based On God's Word?

What’s dictating your direction?   What is causing you to make the choices you are making?   Is it the Word of God or is it the desires of your flesh?    There are many things we want to do in life, but are they the things that God would have us to do?   Are you choosing relationships that are in line with God’s Word and His will?   Are you reacting to life or responding to life based on God’s Word?    We need to move out of reacting into a place where we are responding.    Reactions are based on our emotions, whereas, we respond based on knowledge and understanding.    It is time that we move from living our lives based on emotions to standing strong in faith, knowledge, and understanding of what God has said He will do.   It's time to worship God through our lives.  That means to choose a lifestyle of worship where all of our choices in life are based on Him and His Word.

“Father help us today.   Help us to live our lives according to Your Word.   Help us to know and understand that the world will always try to evoke a reaction from us.   Help us to stand strong and to respond to life and the situations in our lives based on Your Word.  Father we ask that You strengthen us where we are weak.   Father our hope, trust, and belief are all in You to help us in every area of our lives in Jesus name.  Amen”

Are You Getting Burned Out Trying To Earn God's Grace or Are You Resting In Him and Allowing Him To Be Your Strength Where You are Weak?

When a person is burned out, they are tired, they lose interest, and they are frustrated.   Burnout can cause a person to go into a place of depression.    It’s hard to do anything when you are burned out, especially worship.    Understand, God does not want you burnt out.   He doesn’t want you tired and frustrated.   He wants you to recognize and understand that you are full of His vigor and His strength.    He wants you to understand that when you are weak, He is strong.

When a person loses hope, they lose their interest.   They abandon their belief.   Don’t allow weariness to cause you to abandon your belief in God and His Word.    Sometimes the process of waiting can seem very long.   However, your hope and trust has to be in the fact that God knows all and He is able to make “His grace” abound towards you.  God’s grace is His undeserved favor.   It’s not based on anything that we have done or can do.   So don’t get burned out trying to earn God’s grace.   Stay in a place of rest and worship and allow God to do “in you and through you” what He desires to do.

“Father help us to recognize that it is in You that we live, breathe, and have our being.   Father help us to stay focused on You.   To obey Your Word and to do Your will.   Father we yield to You right now.  We give You the right-of-way.  The right to have Your way in our lives right now.   Father forgive us for trying to do things in our own strength.  For we know that You are the strength of our lives.   Forgive us for trying to hold on to those things that You have already told us to release.   Father we ask right now that You take the leading role.   That You lead us, guide us, and direct us in the way that You would have us to go.    Father we give the reigns of our lives completely and totally to You.    We thank You for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.    Now Father we surrender completely by letting go of all the things we have tried so hard to hold on to.    Father we ask that You use our lives for Your glory in Jesus name.  Amen”

Understanding That God Has Not and Will Not Forsake You

To forsake means to leave or abandon.   It means to give up on something or someone.   It means to renounce.   You have to know that God has not and will not forsake you.   He believes in you because He knows that His Spirit dwells on the inside of you.   Now you have to believe in yourself.   You have to know that you can and will make it.   You have to understand that the Greater One dwells on the inside of you.   His Spirit of love, hope, peace and truth is living in you.    So there is hope.   Don’t live your life as though you have no hope.   Your hope dwells within you.   Just as love, peace, and truth are resident on the inside of you.    Stop looking outwardly trying to find all these things in other people.   Find peace within and allow God to bring forth His perfect plan for your life.

“Father help us to look inwardly.   Help us to see the greater work that You are doing on the inside of us.   Father help us to know and feel Your love and Your peace.    Father You are truth and You are love.  Father thank You for putting what You are on the inside of us.   Now Father please strengthen us to allow the attributes of who You are to be seen in and through our lives.   Father help us to know and to understand that our hope is in You in Jesus name.  Amen”

Are You Letting Something Distract You and Attract You To The Point That You Are Letting Go Of God?

Why do you keep going back?  Why do you keep letting go?   Why do you keep surrendering to what you know is keeping you from fully walking in God’s will and His Word?   What is it that is distracting you and attracting you to the point that you let go of God?    We hear all the time the saying, let go and let God.  Yet we tend to let go of God and let our flesh have its way.    Although we know what we need to do, we do it the opposite way.  We tend to let go of God and allow our flesh to have its way.

“Father right now we come to You asking You for strength.  Strength to walk out Your Word fully and completely.  Strength to wait on You.  Strength to hold on to You and to let go of the sins of our flesh.   Father we acknowledge our need for You and we ask You to help us now.    We ask that You lead us, guide us, and strengthen us.   We ask that You show us when and how to let go of those things that are not in line with Your Word, will, or plan.  Father we ask that You complete Your work in us and help us to stand in and on Your Word without going back to our comfort zone.   Help us Father.   Heal us.   We ask that You strengthen us right now in Jesus name.  Amen”

Is The Next Thing On Your Agenda Of Life To Represent God Well?

So what's next?  What's next on "your" agenda of things to do?   Do you want a new job?   Do you want to make more money?   Do you want to get married?    What is it that you want to do?   Let the next thing you desire to do be to please God.   To represent Him well.   It's not about the job or the money.   It not about having a mate.   It's about pleasing Him no matter what.   Not only pleasing Him but praising Him.

Yes, it is hard to praise in the midst of the storm.   It's hard to praise when your body is in pain and it is hard to praise Him when you don't have the money to do what you feel you need to do.   You have to press past what you see and know that storms pass.   Storms end.   When there is a rain storm or snow storm, we don't know exactly how long the storm will last but we do know that it will end. We do know that seasons change.    Begin to praise God in advance for a change of seasons.

"Father right now I come to You asking that You send forth a change of seasons.   Father Your people need You.   They need to see You move in their lives like never before.   They need to know that You are real and that You are there.   So Father I ask that You deliver Your people right now.   Just as Jesus spoke to the storm and it ceased.  Father I speak to the storms in the lives of these Your people and say peace be still.  Father I ask that You still the storms of sickness and disease.   Still the storms of lack.  Still the storms of turmoil and unrest.   Whatever is needed in the lives of these Your people, I ask that You bring it forth now in Jesus name.   Amen"

Are You Walking In The Bondage Of Fear Where You Are Anticipating Bad Things Happening In Your Life or Are You Free and Letting Your Hope and Expectation Be In God?

Are you still walking in bondage?  When you are in bondage, you are under subjection to a force, power, or influence.   Fear is bondage.   Fear is an emotional experience that is based on an "anticipation" of harm.   When you anticipate harm, you are expecting it to happen.   We have to understand that whatever our hope and our expectation is in, is what will rule our behaviors and emotions.    Walking in fear is walking in bondage.

It is only when our hope and expectation is in the Lord, that we can truly be free from the bondage of fear.    For God has said in His Word for us to fear not.    He told us that He has not given us a spirit of fear.   Therefore, we know and understand that the root of fear does not come from Him.   He said that there is no fear in love and I John 4:8 tells us that He is love.    He is set us free in every area of our lives.   We just have to make sure that our hope and expectation is always rooted in Him.  So that when and if fear comes, we can immediately dismiss it based on our knowledge of the fact that it did not come from God.  For He has told us to cast down all things that exalt itself against the knowledge of who He is.

Are You Allowing The Bad Times To Overrule The Good? It's Time To Use Your Trials As A Point Of Remembrance ...

Life as we know it.    In life we have had some good times and some bad times and it is our experiences that fueling our faith.    The problem is, in many cases we allow the bad times to overrule the good.   Because of the intensity of the pain that some of our situations have caused us, we tend to remember more the hurt and allow that hurt to override the good.

It's time we switch.   It's time for us to stop being ruled by the pain and to start remembering all the good that God has done in our lives.   We have to realize that  what God has done, He can and will still do if necessary.   His power has not disappeared or diminished.    We have to use our trials as a point of remembrance.  A point where we stop to remember what God has done.

Stop allowing the pain of your present to cause you to forget all the victories of you past.   Take time to remember what God has done and know without doubt that He will do it again.
