Have you gotten to the place where you understand that God is real? That He is watching over you. That He is keeping you.... Or are you still stuck in self? What you can do by yourself? What you feel you accomplished on your own. Are you acknowledging Him for your successes, accomplishments, and achievements? It's not that God needs recognition .... for He is God. We must recognize Him so that we don't become self consumed and selfish. It is God's desire that we become selfless. That we be in a place where there is "less" of ourselves that is being reflected.
Take a moment today to think on the things that have been accomplished in your life. Take time to give God thanks for them. Thank Him for your home, for your job, for your car, for your shoes, for food, for life, for health, for the ability to read this blog. There is so much to be thankful for .... even in the midst of trials .... your praise and recognition of God is important.
Where is it that you are going and what is it you are trying to do? Are you going in the direction God has told you or are you trying to walk this walk alone? Understand today that God has outlined a plan for your life. The question is ... are you willing to follow the plan? Are you willing to do it the way He has ordained for your life? Are you willing to let go of your predetermined ways that you have decided that you want to be blessed and just step into the blessing that He has prepared for you.
Today is a new day. A new opportunity for you to do it God's way. A new opportunity to live out God's plan. A day of new experiences in God. Why not just trust Him today. Believe Him today. Experience His blessings for you today.
Understand that you were never created to walk alone. From the very beginning man was designed to commune with God. We walk with God when we walk in obedience. When we walk in disobedience .... we walk alone. Amen....
What is your outlook today? The word outlook is defined as a persons point of view or general attitude towards life. What is your point of view? What is your attitude towards the life that you have been given? Are you happy or are you sad? Are you pleased with the life that God has given you or are your discouraged? Understand that the word discouraged means to lose confidence or courage. Have you lost confidence in God? Where is your trust and your belief? Is it in the victory that has been given you or in yourself?
Understand that you must see your life through the eyes of God. Your outlook must be defined by His purpose and His plan. Not just what you want to do ... when you want to do it. God said that He would give you the desires of your heart. He is even known to create things that don't exist. But your hope and your belief .... your confidence and your courage must be in Him and His plan for your life.
Why is it that you feel as though your strength is failing? God's word fails not. It is only when we are dependent upon our own strength that our strength seems to fail. When we try to figure it out or when we consistently concentrate on what is not happening instead of looking at what has already happened. How you are stronger than before. How you feel better than before. How you have a little more than before. Because we want to see the full manifestation (which is what we should want) .... we fail to see the progress that has been made. Understand that God's word must be in control. In control of our thoughts .... in control of our action ..... in control of our reactions. When you base your thoughts, actions, and reactions on the word of God, you understand what He has promised and that He said His promises fail not.
Trust God's word today. Stop trying to figure it out and work it out on your own. You are not your own. You belong to God. Understand that He is your keeper and your provider. He is your healer and your deliverer. He is your source and your resource. If you don't see it yet .... understand with faith it is just a matter of time. The thing is .... we can't control the timing. We can't control what God does and how He does it. We can only control our trust and our faith in Him. Amen.
Are you tired yet? Are you tired of doing it your way. Of trying to figure it out? Of trusting in your own ability and your own way of doing things? Are you tired of your current situation and your current circumstance? If so .... it only means you are ready. You are ready to trust God. It is only at the point of exhaustion that you truly yield to God's power and God's grace. As long as you feel as though you can do it .... or you can do it ..... you can never get to where God wants you to be. Where your total trust and reliance is on and in Him. The Bible says come all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. It says to trust in the Lord with all thine heart and to lean not to your own understanding. It says to cast your cares on God because He cares for you. It says to wait on Him. Think about it .... you have to come to Him, trust Him, lean on Him, and cast your cares on Him. It says nothing about trying to figure it out or do it on your own. Yet that is what we do.
Today let's take a different perspective. Let's see God totally as our supply and our resource. Let's see Him as our comfort and peace. Let's see Him as God. Amen.
To begin again.... How often do we desire to start all over again? To have a second chance? To erase what just happened and be able to make a different decision or to do it a different way. Aren't you thankful that God's mercy is renewed every day. Today is a new day to begin again. No we can't erase our yesterday..... but we can build upon our today. When faced with the same questions or the same desires .... we can now make a God decision. A God decision is always based on knowledge. Knowledge of who He is and knowledge of what He wants. Are you living in a place where you can let go and let God? Where you let go of the way you want to do it and let God's word overtake and determine your decisions in life.
Take time today to step out of yesterdays way of doing things. Do what you do based on His word. Do what you do based on His will. Do what you do based on your desire to please Him. It's time to let God be God and to praise Him for who He is. Praise Him for renewing His mercy daily in your life and for Him giving you another opportunity to begin again. Amen.....
Do you realize where your strength comes from? It comes from knowing who God is. When you know who God is ... you are joyous. You rejoice in the victory that you know has already been won for you. It comes from knowing He is Alpah and Omega. The beginning and the end. Knowing that God has the final word on "everything" that is going on in your life right now. It comes from knowing you have been set free. Knowing that everything that seems to be holding you right now is just a facade. The reality is .... God has set you free. He has released you from any and all things that might try to hold you. Your strength comes from knowing you are healed. Jesus took stripes on His back for your healing. You have to know the power that comes from the blood that was shed. The same blood that covers you and cleanses you.
Understand your strength can never be in your own ability. Your strength .... the power and the endurance for you to make it ... comes only from the joy of knowing who God is.
What are you doing in the moments after? After the blessing? After the healing? After the breakthrough? What are you doing? Are you worshipping and praising? Are you lifting up His name? Or are you acting like you did it on your own and in your own strength?
We need to check our "afters"? Are we still pursuing God in our moments after? With the same fervency and fire that we did when we needed the breakthrough? Or has our ability to breathe after the trial turned into our sitting down on the things of God? Are we becoming to relaxed?
Understand God wants to do things for, in, and through your life but He already knows what you will do in the "after". Make up your mind that your pursuit will not be hindered when you get to moments of breakthrough. Make up your mind that you will still pursue God with the same fervency and fire.
John 17:6 says “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word." My question to you is what are you revealing to those around? Jesus said that He had revealed God to those around Him. The word reveal means to uncover, unfold, and disclose. It means to take the veil off. To show forth what was hidden.
What are you revealing? Are you revealing the Father to your friends and to your family? How about to your co-workers or acquaintances? When they see you .... what do they see? Do they see a life that is steadfast and unmovable? A life that is totally dependent on the Father or one that is trying to do it all on their own?
Understand that your actions are always unveiling your trust and your motives? Jesus showed that His trust was in the Father and His motive was to unveil who God is to people throughout the earth. Will you be able to say as Jesus did to God that you revealed Him to those around you?
Are you willing to let God be God? God wants to be God in your life. He wants to be your Creator and King. He wants to be your source and your supply. He wants to be your peace and your understanding. He wants to be your love and your joy. The question is ..... are you willing to let Him be your everything?
So often we try to do it all on our own. When we try to do it all on our own .... we become producers. At that point you become a manufacturer. A person that makes things. The difference is .... when God creates something He takes it from who He is. He is peace ... He is love .... He is joy. Nothing exists without God. So it is impossible to manufacture anything without Him. If you are wondering why you can't make yourself be at peace .... it is because it is impossible without Him. You can't produce resources without God ... because He is your resource. Understand who He is. Understand that it is much easier to rest in who He is than to go through the process of trying to work things out on your own and getting to the point of knowing that it is impossible without God.
What are you expecting God to do? Are you expecting Him to move on your behalf? Are you expecting Him to give you direction? Are you expecting Him to provide for your needs? Or are you living in a state of whatever happens ... happens.
We have to understand that faith can be defined as "confident expectation". To expect God with confidence. When you are expecting someone or something .... when it arrives it is not a surprise. How is it when God blesses our lives we are sometimes surprised. We should be living in a place of confident expectation. Where we are watching and waiting for the hand of God to move in our situations and our circumstances.
Step out of just hoping for a good result and step into confidently expecting God to move. Confidently expecting the bill to be paid.. Confidently expecting your body to be healed. God's blessing are not supposed to be a surprise. He has already revealed the things that He desires to do in your life through His word. Amen.
What is it that you are being encouraged by? Or should I say who is that you are being encouraged by? The word encourage means to inspire with courage, spirit, or confidence? What is it that is inspiring you? Better yet, what are you being inspired to do?
What exactly are your putting your confidence in? If you are putting your confidence in anything other than God you need to revamp. The word revamp means to renovate, redo, or revise. In order to renovate a house there are various steps you must go through. Understand that you are God's house. His dwelling place. Are you allowing a renovation to take place in your life?
The first step to renovating a house is design. You have to have a design in mind before you can begin a renovation. Understand .... God has a design in place for your life. The second step is to secure the foundation of your house. This is to insure that your house doesn't collapse during the renovation process. When your life is in the process of renovation, you have to secure yourself in God's word. This is to insure that you don't give up, quit, or give in during the trials of life.
Then you have demolition. This is when everything that is no longer needed is taken out of the house. When a house goes through demolition ... walls are knocked down .... there is a gutting process that takes place. Does this sound familiar?
Then you have the carpentry process. This is when things are shifted and moved. New beams installed ... new windows installed. In life this is where new doors begin to open and your vision becomes expanded to the things that God desires to do for you. Then there is the insulation process. This is when the word of God secures and insulates your life. Where it prevents the passage of the enemy's attacks against your life. Finally comes the point where the new walls, floors, carpet, etc are installed. This is where your life begins to show forth God's glory. Where the rebuilding becomes evident to those around you.
Understand .... you are in the process of renovation. But after you have been processed.....you will reflect God's glory. Amen.
Are you forfeiting your blessing based on doubt? Understand that the word forfeit means to lose or surrender as a result of wrongdoing or neglect. There are things that God has promised you. Are you losing out on them based on your neglect of His word? Are you losing out on them based on allowing doubt to contradict what He has told you to be true. It's time to stop forfeiting the things that God wants to do in your life.
The Bible tells us to trust God with all our heart and to lean not unto our own understanding. To acknowledge Him in all our ways and to allow Him to direct our paths. Why is it that we think we can get to the end of the path without doing what He has said to do. He said to trust Him. If you trust God that means you believe in His reliability, truth, ability, and strength. It tells us to lean not to what we think about it. We are to acknowledge Him in everything that we do. To acknowledge means to confess and recognize God's existence in whatever we are doing. Understanding that everything we do should lead back to who He is.
It's time to stop forfeiting the life that God has designated for you to have. In order to do that we have to trust, and obey His word for our lives.
Two questions for today .... Where are you going to and what is it that you are seeking? What are your goals and what are your objectives? Are your goals in line with who God is and what He wants for your life? Or are your goals centered around you? Are they based on how you feel or where you at or are they strictly based on God and who He is and what He has designated for your life?
We have to make life about Him. About fulfilling His plan, His purpose, and His desire in our life. We tend to make it all about us. How we feel and what we want to do. Understand today that God has set before you the prize of eternal life and it is His desire that you run the race and obtain the prize. Most runners in a race have their mind set on obtaining the prize. That is their goal. My question is ... what is your goal in life? Is it to be an achiever on your job or in the things of God? Is your mind set on Him as your prize or man made things? We have to get to a place where our ultimate goal is to obtain eternal life and be pleasing to the Father. In most cases we make choices based on our outward flesh. How things will affect us outwardly. What we can see, feel, and touch. Did you realize that the marrow inside of your bones is also a soft fatty tissue. The difference is .... the marrow is where the blood cells are produced and where the blood flows. It is the place where strength and vitality are produced. Understand it can't be seen ... but that is where your physical strength comes from. From the flow of the blood.
When you look at your life and you follow your goals ... do so based on the flow of the blood of Jesus. Your strength, your vitality, and your power to achieve are all found in the flow of the blood. Let your mind stay on the prize of eternal life.
Are you still living on the edge? On the edge of God's promises. On the edge of His purpose? It's time to submerge. To submerge means to go below the surface. It's time to step out of living for God on the surface only. Where what you do is done where others can see and think that you are who you say you are. It's time to go deeper with God. God doesn't just want you on the surface. He wants all of you. He wants your life and your lifestyle to be lived out for Him. That means whether you are with people or alone .... He wants you to be unchanging, immovable, and always abounding. He doesn't want your alone time to be BAU (Business As Usual). It's time to allow ourselves to be purged by His word and covered by His blood.
Living on the edge means to live a dangerous every day life. It is a place where you are exposed. Whereas, living in Him (completely and totally) is a place of safety and peace. It is a place of protection and direction. Understand that everything that He did .... He did with you in mind. To provide a place of safety and comfort for you. Understand that comfort means to be at ease and free. That is where God wants you to be.
Do you pray before you leave your house in the morning? What about when you are in your car or at work? As Christians we have an amazing incentive and that is prayer. We can pray for favor. We can pray for peace, and we have the kingdom of heaven on our side working to provide just what we need. So before you start your day you should pray that it be blessed, pray for your peace, and pray that God and his angels would go before you. Pray when you get in the car, and if need be, pray at work. Do not only pray for yourself but pray for others as well. Pray for your children, family, friends, coworkers, and even church members. We are to be intercessors, which is someone who prays or petitions for another. Pray blessings over yourself and others. Remember the Bible says ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you in Matthew 7:7.

"I Need You to Survive"
Ministered by: Hezekiah Walker and Love Fellowship Choir
What will you do in this day that God has given you? Will you use it to tell somebody about your Lord, your God and your Savior? Will you use it to go deeper into His word? Will you use it to reflect on the things that He has done in your life? Or will you use it to worry while you wait?
Understand God's love for you. He loved you so much that He supplied a sacrifice for your sins. His love goes far beyond your past, your present, and your future. If He supplied a sacrifice for your sin ....what makes you think that He won't supply money for your need. Healing for your body. Peace for your storm.
Understand that when He did what He did. He left nothing out. He supplied everything that you needed for yesterday .... today ..... and the tomorrows in your life.
Why is it that keep believing for those around you and you are failing to trust God for yourself? Do you not believe His word when He said that He loves you? When He said He is watching over you to keep you in all your ways? When He said you were His child? When He expressed His love for you?
We have to begin to take God's word personal. We need to begin to relate to ourselves and our lives. Not just everyone around us. We pray for people and we believe for them .... yet we don't believe for ourselves. We tend to look ourselves as less than. Understand that God's word says that you are "more than a conqueror through Him". God's words says that He loves us. God's word says that He cares for us. STOP taking yourself out of the equation. Stop thinking that your past (what you did a yesterday, the day before, or the day before that) has the power to dictate your future. That is not the case. God's plan for you has already been established and written. We have to just stop getting off path looking for shortcuts. There are no shortcuts to God. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life". So the way has already been paved.
It's time to believe God's word and to believe that His word is not only for those around you ... it's for you too. Amen.
What is it you want? Why is it that you are still searching? Do you not yet realize the fact that you have been chosen. When someone is chosen .... that means they have been selected as the best and/or most appropriate. The word appropriate means suitable or fitting. Just think about it. God selected you and in doing so He is saying that you are the most appropriate or suitable one to fulfill His plan in the earth.
We have to stop questioning the plan of God by questioning the circumstances of our life. Understand that your circumstance does not determine whether or not God's plan for your life will be fulfilled. The word circumstance is defined as the condition to where you are right now. That does not determine where God is taking you or what He has planned for you. Understand that sometimes circumstances are there only to try to divert you. To cause you change your course. To change directions. To push you closer to God. To cause you call on Him instead of carelessly walking out life.
Understand today that you can stop searching. God has a plan for your life. His plan is to give you hope and a future ..... not to mention an expected end. Take time today and meditate on His word ....
Jeremiah 29:11-13
Amplified Bible (AMP)
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
What happens when you give it all over to God? When you let it all go? When you stop trying to do it yourself? What happens when you let God be God?
That is what God wants you to do. He wants you to let go of it. The hurts, the pain, the disappointment. The trials and the struggles. He wants you to stop trying to do it on your own. To stop trying to walk it out alone. He wants you to know that you are His child. Understand that a child is not built to carry everything. Because a child is small ..... he or she cannot carry the load that the parent can. That's how God looks at his parental relationship with you. He knows that there are things that you are not able to carry .... so He carries it for you.
Make it your determined purpose to let go and let God today. Amen...
Are you allowing God to lead you, guide you, and direct you? To "lead" means to go with someone while holding them by the hand, a halter, a rope .... but in our case His word. A "guide" is a person who advises or shows the way to others. To "direct" means to to manage or guide by advice, helpful information, and instruction. It means that you help a person to get from one place to another by the shortest way without changing direction or stopping. So again my question to you is are you allowing God to "lead" you, "guide" you, and "direct" you?
So often in life we grab hold of our circumstances and situations and allow them to manage our reaction, our feelings, and our thoughts. It is at that point we are being led by what we are going through instead of who God is. Then there are times when we seek advice from whomever will give it. The question is .... is it God ordained advice? Are they speaking from the heart and mouth of God? You have to know in which direction a person is guiding you and directing you. If it is not closer to God .... it is at that point you should realize you are going the wrong way.
Make it your determined purpose to be led, guided, and directed by your Father, Creator, and King. He loves you and He will always lead you into a closer relationship and walk with Him. Amen.
Do you understand what it means to be developed? To be developed means to cause to grow or expand. It means to elaborate or expand in detail. It means to bring into being or activity. To be developed means to be brought to a more advanced or effective state. Understand today that God is developing you. You have not yet gotten to the place that God has designated you to be. You have not gotten to that advanced or effective state. Also understand that there is a process in development. Use the analogy of taking pictures on a camera with film. With film the process starts with a negative. Think about that word .... negative. Negative means expressingorcontainingnegationordenial. Have you ever felt like you were in a place of denial concerning the things of God? It's all a part of being processed.
Go back and think about the negative where film or should I say a picture is concerned. From that negative comes a process called development. Once development is complete .... you end up with a picture (or photograph). That is how our life is. We have negatives in our lives. Those things that don't seem to line up with the end result we desire or expect. But once we go through the process of development .... we end up with the desired end result. A life that is well pleasing to the Father.
Remember also with film. If you take the film out of the camera too soon or expose it to the wrong kind of light ... you can destroy the pictures that have been taken. The camera is designed to be a place of safety. It is the place where the film is housed. That is how God is to us. We are housed in Him. Remember .... He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High .... in His shelter ... shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." We too must stay housed in our place of safety in God. If we come from under His covering we expose ourselves to danger.
There is a picture of your life that God has taken. It's called destiny. Allow Him to take you through the process of development in order for you to see the desired end result. Amen....
Do you know what it means to be chosen? To be chosen means to be selected. To be picked out of many. That is what God has done. He has chosen you. He has chosen you to lead, to direct, to be an example of who He is in the earth. How are you handling the fact that you have been selected? How are you leading those around you? How are you directing the people and the things around you? One definition of directing is to manage. How are you managing the things around you?
You have an awesome responsibility. To reflect and to to show forth the glory of God. The power of God. The goodness of God. The grace of God. The purpose of God. All of this is what God has placed you here to do.
Understand today that you have been given an invitation. An invitation to enter into His plan, His purpose, and the life He has created for you. How are you responding with the RSVP of your life? Are you saying yes Lord .... I am coming as you have requested or is your life saying that you have no interest in living in His plan.
So exactly how are you looking at your test and your trial? Are you looking at it as an opportunity for increase. An opportunity for God to move and manifest in your life? Or are you looking at it in a negative light. Everything that you go through is not necessarily bad. When things appear to be bad .... remember that God said that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Understand the victory that is hidden behind the trial. When something is hidden .... it can't be seen. It is not open to be viewed. That doesn't mean it is not there. It just means it hasn't been unveiled yet. Start looking at your trials as opportunities for God to bless you. To increase you. To take you to your next level in Him. Stop taking the negative approach. Take the God given approach. The approach that says that God is in control. That His plan will be perfected in your life. The approach that knows the final outcome is "in" Him and the ultimate control is in Him. Understand it is "in" Him. When something is "in" something else .... you can't see it .... but it still exists. Amen.'
What is your personal preference? Do you prefer God above all else? Do you prefer Him above the things that coach your flesh. To coach means to train, teach, and to educate. There are things in life that train you. That teach you. That educate you to the ways and wants of the world and there is God. We have to be in a place where we prefer God above all else. Above the wants. Above the desires. Above the things that we have become so accustomed to. The word accustomed means habitual or customary. What has become habitual and customary in your life? Are you willing to let those things go in order to live for and in God?
God's desire is that you live for Him. God's desire is that you live in Him. Make it personal today. Your walk, your talk, your life, and your lifestyle. Prefer God above all things. Let your desire be for Him and the things in life that represent Him. Let Him be your source and your strength. Don't allow the ungodly things of the world to become the things that you prefer in life.
Do you really know who you are? God created you. He made you in His image and after His likeness .... yet you say you are trying to find yourself. Trying to understand your purpose and His plan for your life. The first step to knowing who you are is recognizing whose you are. When you know your parents .... you can begin to identify your nature and your culture. Understand today that God is your parent. You are created with the nature of God. The culture of God is defined by beliefs, behaviors, and characteristics that are common to God. We are born in His culture but we have allowed other things to cultivate us. When something is cultivated, it is broken up in preparation for sowing or planting. The question is .... what are you allowing to be sowed and/or planted in your spirit, in your heart, in your mind, and in your life?
You have within you the nature of your Father .... God. You were born to live in the culture of God. Define yourself by what your Father has said. Believe His word. Behave according to His word. Be characterized by His word. In other words .... let the seal of who God is be upon your life.
Understand who you are. Don't allow people, places, situations, or circumstances define you. Regardless of what the world says .... you are what what God has already said.

"I Am What You See"
Ministered By William Murphy and Full Gospel Baptist Church Choir
Are you allowing God to lead you? Are you allowing Him to strengthen you? Through all your hurt and all your pain are you leaning and trusting on Him? Understand that God knows all. He knows how you think, how you feel, what you did yesterday, and what you will do today. So nothing is hidden from Him. However, it is still up to us to yield to Him. To give things over to Him. God is a gentle - man. He will not come and overtake you and consume you unless you invite Him in. Unless you give him permission to do so. Although He desires to rule and reign in our lives .... He wants us to desire Him also. He wants us to open up to Him. To yield to Him. To seek and search Him in every decision concerning our lives.
What is it that is keeping you from experiencing more of Him. From understanding His goodness and His grace. From living for Him completely. We tend want to live for Him partially. Where we give Him part of who we are and try to reserve portions of our lives for ourselves. Understand that life all works together. You can't be yielded to God in your thoughts and when it comes to your actions you do what you want to do. You body is God's house.....His temple. Understand that the Bible says that a house divided will fall. Don't allow your house (your life) to fall based on division within you. Where you want to serve God in partiality. That is not His best and that is definitely not His plan.
Do you really believe God? I know you say you do .... but do you really? Do you believe that He will come through? Do you believe that He will heal you? Do you believe that He is who He said He is? What is your reaction to the things that are going on in your life? When it doesn't work out the first time. Do you give up and quit? Or do you wait and trust?
If you want to know if you are really believing God..... check yourself? Check your responses to life. Are you casting down imaginations and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of who God is and what God has said? Are you turning your back on the situation or standing and trusting God to come through?
God did not say that our lives would be free of problems .... He said that when we go through things in our life that He is with us and He will carry us. He said for us to cast our care on Him for He cares for us. Understand the protection that has been provided for you and your life. Understand that your Father sees all and He knows all. Understand that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Understand that He is there to wipe away your tears and to dry your eyes. Understand the characteristics of your Father and learn how to trust Him through the good and the bad. Amen.
We hear God but are we hearkening to what we hear Him say? To hearken means to listen attentively and to obey. We hear things continuously all day long. We hear people talk all around us. However, there must be a distinction when you hear the voice of God. The distinguishing factor must be obedience. It must be that you act on what you hear God say to you.
How often do we shake off what God is saying and make an excuse when we really want to do something. Understand those questions that you "ask yourself" when you are getting ready to do something .... are sometimes God talking to you. We have to begin to check what we do and what we say with God's word. Sometimes it requires just asking ourselves is this of God or would God be pleased with what I am doing. If the answer is no .... we have to be strong enough to walk away from it or to let it go.
It's not always easy to hearken to the plan of God for your life. However, there is strength, power, and blessings that come through your obedience. If you begin to practice the presence of God in your life ... hearkening will become a automatic and natural reaction. You will begin to know His word and trust His plan for your life.
Sometimes we are all about consuming. We say God ....we want more of you. We need more of you. We have to have more of you. My question to you today is .... are you taking the time to digest the word of God that you already have? To digest means to break down into substances that can be used properly by the body. Are you breaking God's word down in a way that you can properly walk it out? Believe it? Understand it? Or are you just consuming it? Filling yourself up on it .... but not truly understanding what it is you are consuming.
Yes God wants you to want more of Him. To desire more of Him. To learn more about Him. But He also wants you to walk out the word He gives you. To believe the word He gives you. To have faith in the word that He gives you. If you continue to get more of Him and never truly walk in what you have already gotten ... you have to ask yourself are you properly digesting the word of God in your life? Are you getting the vital necessities out of the word? Or are you just consuming the totality of God word and never breaking it down to where it is applicable to your life?
Fill yourself up on His word .... but break it down in a way to which you can easily apply it to the situations in your life. Amen.
