What Are You Using To Try To Fix The Brokenness In Your Life? Remember . . . There Are No Spare Parts or Substitutes For God...
It does no good to be out of place. Things don't work right when you are out of place. When you have a machine that is used for production and a part of that machine has slipped out of place .... the machine no longer works to perfection. It may work temporarily ... but eventually ... it will stop working. That is how life is. In order for our lives to be what God created them to be ... we have to be in place. We have to have the right connections. The connections that God has ordained. We have to make sure the things in our lives are in proper position. There are no spare parts to life. There are no quick fixes to life. In order for our lives to work properly .... we have to have Jesus. We have to honor God. We have to let go of the things that take away our oil of joy, peace, and comfort.
Too often we try to use substitutes in our lives and wonder why its not working the way we want. We can't substitute God with selfish ambition. We can't substitute God's love for lustful desire. THERE ARE NO SUBSTITUTES FOR GOD.
It's time to get everything in order and to monitor our lives based on God's word. When an area of our lives is looking as though it want to slip out of place ... push it back in place with the pressure of God's word. Allow God's word to fix the brokenness in your life. Remember ... you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Don't allow the world to be a substitute part for God's word in your life. Amen.
